Fear'enza' and Worry'itis' vs. Body Language

Rene Deceuninck reads Napoleon Hill on worry and indecision, then shows how posture fixes both. Shoulders back, head up, hands in a roof shape. Better posture means more oxygen and clearer thinking.

Body language and fear and worrying. Hi, my name is Rene Deceuninck from the Institute for Personal Development and Body Language in London. Welcome. Before starting, I would like to read a little bit out of a book by Napoleon Hill, and it's called Think and Grow Rich, the original classic. I have it here, right? This is a collector's item. And let me read it first. Worry is a state of mind based upon fear. It works slowly but persistently. It is insidious and subtle. Step by step, it digs itself in until it paralyzes one's reasoning faculty, destroys self-confidence and initiative. Worry is a form of sustained fear caused by indecision, therefore it is a state of mind which can be controlled. An unsettled mind is helpless. Indecision makes an unsettled mind. Most individuals lack the willpower to reach decisions promptly and to stand by them after they have been made, even during normal business conditions. Now, during periods of economic unrest, and you might say during COVID-19 as well, The individual is handicapped not alone by his inherent nature to be slow at reaching decisions, but he is influenced by the indecision of others around him who have created a state of mass indecision. Now, during these periods of worrying and fear, and like COVID-19, the coronavirus thing, it is filled— the world is filled with Fierenza and worryitis. Fierenza and worryitis, the two mental disease germs which began to spread when something happens that is out of the normal, I would say. There is only one known antidote for these germs. It is the habit of prompt and firm decision. Moreover, it's an antidote which every individual must apply for himself. We do not worry over conditions once we have reached a decision to follow a definite line of action. End of the quote. Think and Grow Rich, the original classic, Napoleon Hill. Now, what has that to do with body language? Now, if you are— if you're in fear, if you worry about things, you don't have clarity. And I learned through the years that clarity is power. Once you are clear about what's happening in your life and economy, in your business, in your family, in your relationship, clarity will give you power. Now, in terms of body language, when you're not clear about stuff, when you worry, when you fear, what goes— what happens is that shoulders down, head down, and you're cutting off the oxygen, the oxygen that will provide the brain from energy and clear thinking. Now instead of having that head down, shoulders down, and cutting off the oxygen, have your shoulders back and your head up. That is so important to realize that oxygen plays a major role in your thinking. And then have that shoulders back, head up, your hands in the form of a roof. People having the hands in the form of a roof are very, very, very confident. They know what they're talking about, they have an answer ready for every question. Shoulders back, head up, and look the other person straight in the eyes and say, "Hey, how you doing?" Now we have an online training ready for you, and the online training will give you so much information, tips, and tricks to use on a daily basis immediately. I would say sign up and join me, and I see you on the inside. Thank you. P.S., please subscribe to my YouTube channel as well. Thank you for that.
