What are the secrets behind Body Language? Let's connect!

Rene Deceuninck explains how body language works as an emotion-driven language that bypasses words. He teaches the DISC colour model to read people, then shares three techniques to connect: match their communication style, mirror their posture, and align eye contact to reach the right brain hemisphere.

Hi, this is Rene Deceuninck from The Body Language Company in London, IPBLTD in London, The Institute for Personal Development and Body Language. Welcome. Now the other day I got a question from somebody that says, hey Rene, why body language? Now, body language is a language on its own. Body language is a language without grammar. And why would I ask people, do you know the secrets, the knowledge and benefits of body language? There is something in body language that we don't know about. A lot of people, still 80%, doesn't know about the secrets of body language. Do you know that body language has no grammar? Body language is based on how you feel. When I speak to you, when I read something, when I write something, even the language for blind or deaf people, there's a language, there's a grammar involved in it. And in body language, there's no grammar. How you feel will produce a certain body language. Can you imagine you're angry or you're excited or you're sad or you're full of energy? There's a certain way of breathing. I mean, somebody who's really angry, they go like, and somebody who's very excited can be completely different. The thing is though, that energy that you create will produce a certain body language and that body language will be sent out with a certain energy on a certain frequency and will get to the person or whoever it is into that brain, onto the subconscious mind of that person, and will come back to you with an answer based on what you send out. That's why they say the outside world is in fact a reflection of yourself. Now, body language is far more than that. It's the, the secrets, the knowledge, and the benefits, because a lot of benefits into body language as well. If I could ask you one question, who are you? Could you come up with an answer that makes sense? But if you ask the right questions to yourself, say, who am I? Who am I really? Am I an emotional person? Am I a team player? Who am I? If I would ask that question to you, I know who I am. But if I would ask you that question, who are you? And you start thinking, hey, who am I? And all of a sudden you start asking yourself the correct questions. You can then ask those questions to somebody else and find out who they are. And that's called leveling. Once you know who somebody else is in terms of their character, are they a team player, solo player? Are they an emotional person, rational person? Who are they? Right? Are they calm and soft, active and fast? Who are they? You can then speak their language. And once you speak somebody else's language, In terms of, I divide them in colors based on the DISC model, the red, yellow, green, and blue. If you're a red person, you speak to a green person and you speak green language, they will say, hey, this is the first person that understands me. That is the first way of leveling. The second way of leveling is to mirror, mirror and match. I mean, take the same positions, the same posture of that person, and then do it a couple of times, very subtle. And right before, They change, you change. They might take over your gesture, your posture. It's called mirror matching. And then you got a different connection on a higher level. There's a third way of mirror, a third way of leveling is speaking with the correct brain to the correct brain. If I look with my right eye into your right eye, I will connect my left brain with your left brain. I will talk about rational things and the other way around, my left eye, left eye about emotional things. These are all systems in terms of body language. It's far more than just like, hey, arms crossed, closed. No, far more than that. I've been teaching this in +42 countries all over the planet. Thousands and thousands and thousands of entrepreneurs and business owners ask for my advice, my knowledge about body language, and I said it's far more about than body language. It's like, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. And those two combined, the verbal and the nonverbal, you'll be amazed what results you'll put down or get out of a conversation in the future. So I look forward to share with you. If, if you have any questions, please let me know. You'll find my information somewhere on this platform, on the comments, in the bio, whatever. And I look forward to share with you far more than that and see you grow to the next level. Thank you. Ciao.
