There are two periods they studied: the period from 1950 till 2000, and from 2000 till 2050. The study says that between 1950 and 2000, when 3 people enter the labor market, 1 person will retire. Now listen carefully. The study also says that between 2000 and 2050, when 3 people enter the labor market, 14 people will retire. So be aware, retirement funds are shrinking tremendously.
