Why Body Language ? It's a Kind of Magic and Global Language!! From London to Kopenhagen to Bangkok

Rene Deceuninck shows how body language works as a universal code older than words. Right-eye dominance correlates with rational thinking, left with emotional thinking. Master your posture and gestures and you shift how others perceive you, your confidence, and your power.

How are you doing? Thank you.
Let's create some energy, let the music go on, right?
Stand up, please, and clap your hands. Come on, on the music! It is a kind of magic, isn't it? Yeah! Alright!
Take a seat, please, take a seat. It is a kind of magic being here, isn't it? Thank you, right? I'm gonna ask you from time to time how you all doing, and I would like to ask you to answer with only one word, and the one word is unbelievable. Could you do that? We all have a brain and we all communicate in time, and we all have a conscious mind and a subconscious mind, right? Don't mess up conscious, subconscious, unconscious, right? We have a conscious mind and a subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the hard disk of your brain where everything is installed. So what happens when we have verbal communication, the words we say, it goes from conscious to conscious. Would you agree? If I say, hey, how are you all doing? You will absorb that. If you taste coffee or tea, if you listen to somebody, if you taste something like barbecue stuff and all that, this is conscious. However, subconscious is other things we don't see or we don't think about. How many of you think about the fact if you go to sleep, I do hope my heart keeps on beating when I sleep? You done that? Okay, let's do it now. What you're going to do is stretch your arms like that. Please do it. Play with me. Play full out like Geeta asked you. Play full out. Stretch your arms. Put your hands together. Make sure you have a little hole in the middle, a little small hole in the middle here, right? And look through that hole with both eyes open. And focus on one specific point. Now close one eye. Do you still see it?
No.
Then the other eye is your dominant eye. Oh dear. Right? So I'll repeat it. Go like this, put your hands together, make sure where your thumbs are, you got a little small hole. Look with both eyes through the hole and focus on one spot. It doesn't matter, the blue ball or whatever, the bottle. And then close one eye. Do you still see what you're focusing on?
Yes.
Well, that's your dominant eye. And if your right eye is your dominant eye, that means you're more of a rational person. If your left eye is dominant eye, you're more of an emotional person. Like Joseph McClendon, he does that a lot on stage. Like this. However, if you are in a conversation, he's talking to like 7, 6, 7, 8,000, 9,000— last time was 13,000 people. You have to really be like— but when you are in a conversation and you do this, you're really offensive. You're pushing people away from you, right? And politicians do that a lot as well. What they do as well is this. And if you do that in France, you're saying to the other person, you're zero, you're nil. Don't do that. If you want to accentuate something, do it like this one, the third one, and it's like push your two fingers together. And it's all about the subconscious mind influencing the subconscious mind of the other person. Is when you see somebody holding their arms like this in the metro or tube waiting for a doctor, and they're like this, there's a huge lack of confidence. In the front or the back?
I'm ready to introduce you to our next presenter, and he's ready to come up here on stage and also blow you away. I've been made to understand he's got an amazing presentation, and he's here to talk to you about the subject of body language. So, are you ready to welcome our next speaker, Rene? Now, he himself is quite a dynamic individual. He's way taller than me, and he may not look it, But according to him, he has 3 grandkids. So I also want to pick his brain later and ask him how he stays in such great shape.
All right, guys. Roger! How are you all doing?
Would you agree? Okay. So it's a journey and it all began with the Earth explosion. There was no French, there was no Thai, there was no German, there was no Americans, but there was body language. Animals communicated with body language, so body language is a very old language. And today, the most important thing on planet Earth is communication. Would you agree on that? Communication is the most important. So, all right, number one is when you can see something. You can't hear and you can't talk, but you can see. Like, I can see the guys from AV, from audio and video. However, I can't talk to them and I can't listen to them. However, I can read their body language. No, don't worry, don't worry, keep doing what you do. So that's the first step. The second step is to discover if somebody— if you can listen to somebody, to someone, you You're in a restaurant, you're eating, and the table next to you, test it next time you're in a restaurant, just test it. No time for that. Remember, if you never lie, you never have to think because the body never lie. Your outside world is a reflection of yourself, so watch out what you project. And your body language will influence your thoughts, and your thoughts will influence your body language. How many of you learned something about body language today? Please raise your hand and say, "Yeah!" Yeah!
Shout it out! How many of you learned something?
