What do you do when you fail? What do you do when things don't go your way? What do you do when you've hit rock bottom and you're faced with setback after setback after setback? How do you keep your motivation up? And how do you stand strong when it matters most? Look, for those of you that know my story, know that my life has completely exploded over the last couple of years where I bounced back from near bankruptcy. I'm publishing my first book, I'm running a multi six figure coaching business, my seminars are booked out both in Sydney and Melbourne. And I've been luck enough to have literally spent time with some of my greatest childhood heroes. But here's the truth of it all. Despite what everyone else sees, there is no gain without the pain. And people who are successful only briefly get rewarded in public for what they spend years practicing in private. You see, to get to where I am today was not easy. I've had seminars where only one person showed up. I've had months and months and months where I've made literally nothing and I still had to find a way to support my family. I've had countless people tell me that I was not good enough. And I've had so many moments where I was this close to completely giving it all away and completely throwing in the towel. But it's in those moments where you have to stand strong and look yourself in the eye and ask yourself, what am I made for? Because those are the moments where your character is tested. And those are the moments where you find out who you really are. And those are the moments where you find out what you're really made for. You see, so many people are so scared of failing that they don't even try. But it's never about not failing because that's just part of the game. The real question is, how do you use failure to define you? How do you use setbacks to make you want more? How do you turn low points into high points and turn this situation to make you bigger, better and stronger? As my greatest childhood hero said, ain't nothing gonna hit you as hard as life, but it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep pushing forward. It's about how you can take and keep moving forward. Because that's how winning is done. And that, my friends, is how success is done. And I can assure you, the more you step into the person that you're meant to be, the more successful you will be.
Sam.
