How To Get Your First Coaching Client Without Posting Content (Day 3/5 of The First Kiss Challenge)

In this live session of the 5‑day "First Kiss Challenge," host Richmond Dinh (joined by Tony, Jian Shuo, Andrea and a group of participants) guides aspiring coaches through Day 3, which focuses on building momentum toward their first paying client without a social‑media following or content creation. The session recaps the previous two days (the First Kiss Ladder and niche selection), reinforces a growth‑mindset (abundance, overcoming imposter syndrome, permission to charge), and shares multiple student success stories (Russell Brunson, Myron Golden, Tyrone Bray, Tracy, Nick & Cynthia, Jilan, Andrea, etc.) to illustrate how tiny challenges can scale to six‑figure revenues. Richmond then walks participants through a practical lead‑generation exercise: pick a niche in five minutes, invite everyone in their personal network (even those who seem “unsuitable”), allow them to say no, and use the responses to generate Tiny Challenge registrations. He debunks the fear of saturated niches, frames money as abundant, and stresses that belief in available wealth drives action. The talk also covers personal barriers (family expectations, cultural pressure, fear of judgment) and how Richmond overcame them by committing to his own vision. Throughout, Richmond promotes the Point One (P1) coaching program, offers a one‑on‑one interview link (p1interview.com), and provides a customizable outreach script that participants can adapt to their voice. He emphasizes message‑chunking (sending four short messages instead of one long copy), limits outreach per platform to about 20 contacts to stay compliant, and advises patience—waiting for replies without blocking non‑responders. The session ends with a Q&A‑style interaction, encouragement to take bold action, and a reminder to use the P1 prompt pathway that leads from the first client to $100K. Upcoming Day 4 will focus on crafting an origin‑story post as a brand foundation, and Day 5 will cover converting Tiny Challenge leads into enrollments (the “bowtie” process).

This video here is going to show you on how to get your very first paying client without a following and without you needing to post any content. This is day 3 of my 5-day challenge that I did for my paying students where I helped them get their very first paying client in under 5 days. No content required, no following required, and it was fire. If you're watching this right now, you didn't catch day 1 or day 2, I'll drop it in the description below so you can get caught up. But if you did watch day 1 and day 2, welcome back. I'm glad you're here. It means you're getting a ton of value and you've made it to day 3. And most people never ever get to halfway of what they commit to. So well done for being here. Get your pen and paper out 'cause day 3 is where you start to build momentum.
Welcome to day 3 of the First Kiss Challenge. This is Richmond Dinh.
So Richmond, you've helped thousands of people. Richmond, over $20 million online.
I wanted to share a good friend of mine. His name's Richmond. Our guest today is Richmond Dinh. We've got none other than Richmond Dinh. Today I have Richmond Dinh. Richmond Dinh, thank you for being on The Department. I've got Richmond Dinh.
What's up?
Today we're joined by Richmond Dinh.
We are here with Richmond Dinh. All the way from Australia. Let's go down under. We got Richmond here today.
One of my friends and one of the greats.
Richmond Dinh is in the building.
The legend, the one and only Mr. Richmond Dinh.
All right, welcome to day 3. I love it. Got day 3, more of you are dancing, more of you are cheering, more of you celebrating. Not me, but celebrating yourself. So congratulations on being here and for committing And getting to the halfway point, you know, most people don't even get to the halfway point. How many, how many of you think, like, if you had to do a percentage, I think you guys really know this, who, like, the common average person out there who sets a New Year's resolution, do you know when 90% of people give up on their New Year's resolution? Just go ahead, type in the chat screen. When, when did they normally— do you know the stat? I wonder if you guys know this.
Let's get it in there.
Connie says Day 1, they give up on day 1.
They already break their promise to themselves. All right, the next day. Yeah, Jeremy, I think you're about right. I think it's around like day 8. Sonia says about a week, 15 days in, 3 days in, end of February. Yeah, maybe. When is it, Rich? When do most people give up?
It is around about day 12, 13. It is very, very close. So it's January 12th, 90% of people have given up. Not many people actually get to 6 months in. That's June, July, but you guys are the June, July equivalent of the 5-day challenge. So well done, give it up for you guys for being here.
Ready?
All right, well, today we are going to do lead generation. We're going to help you guys get your first couple of Tiny Challenge registrations. And what that means is, as equally for some of you will be like, oh my gosh, we're actually doing this. Oh no, we are going to move one step closer to getting the kiss. We're going to get some leads. And some of you, that's going to be super exciting. But for some of you, it'll be super scary. Scary because what if people say no? Or the converse, what if they say yes? Now what? Because most of your life you've been such a great giver, but now you have to open yourself up to receiving. They said yes. They want to talk to me? They want to do my Tiny Challenge? What? This is so weird. And so whatever you're feeling, allow yourself to go through those emotions because that first kiss, you will never ever feel it again. And so just enjoy the process, enjoy the butterflies, enjoy the sweaty palms, enjoy the nervousness, enjoy the tension that's building up, enjoy the excitement all at the same time. And then afterwards, just cherish that memory because once it's done, it'll be like this moment where it's like, oh my gosh, that went so fast. I can't believe it's happened now. And now everything becomes real for you. So how many of you excited for today? Yeah, yeah, very, very cool. All right, so let's just recap what we did in the last couple of days just very, very quickly. We talked about the First Kiss Ladder, that tiny challenge on the way to get there. And in order for you to grow your business, you need to 100% go all in on tiny challenges because one of the things that will stop you is discouragement. Especially if you've been trying already and it hasn't worked and you're building up this story that maybe something's wrong with you. There's nothing wrong with you. We just need to keep going but need to get 1% better every single time and surround ourselves in the right environment because practice does not make perfect. Practice just makes permanent. And so if you keep on practicing and you keep on doing the wrong things, you just become really, really good at being really crap. So making sure that we get 1% better every time by being in the right environment, and more importantly, with the overwhelm that you'll experience during your journey, just knowing what your next step is is going to be the antidote to the overwhelm. How many of you have been enjoying the prompts that I've been giving you? Like, these are sequentially laid out prompts to help you get your first paying client, and we actually have prompts all the way to $100K. If you're like, I don't even know what to do next, I'm on $12K revenue, go to the next prompt that is for the $12K revenue stage. If you're on $25K, go to that next prompt. If you're on zero, go to the next prompt. If you're stuck on 10 nos in a row, go to that next prompt. I have a prompt for every part up until 6 figures. So you never ever have to feel overwhelmed. If your friend is gunning it and they're like off to the races and they're going so fast and you feel this comparison syndrome where you're like, oh my gosh, how they're swimming on this fast lane and I'm this lane, but you, it allows you The prompt pathway that we have in P1 allows you to just stay in your lane and know what your next step is. So you don't get overwhelmed and you run your own race. And plus, some people don't want to drive a Ferrari. Some people want to just drive slow. And that's okay too, because they've got multiple responsibilities. So all the proof and evidence is there. Russell Brunson did 2 tiny challenges, made $200K. Myron Golden did it once, made $700K, which was insane. But these are advanced coaches and I'm not advanced. So if you're not advanced, that's okay because the 99.9% of our students are not advanced as well. Tyrone Bray, we talked about him yesterday, personal trainer, $40K in 6 months, keyword working part-time because he's got a face-to-face gym. Then we talked about Tracy. She was the first person to hit 6 figures through Tiny Challenges and she broke the mold and made it possible for everyone else. And then we shared the story about our awesome couple, Nick and Cynthia, who are life coaches for parents running this whilst working full-time in corporate with 3 kids under 10. Inspirational story there. And then we had the story from Jilan, who coaches B2B, how he made $180K in 15 months. In fact, most of that came in about 8 or 9 months, 'cause the first couple of months he had no traction and was so frustrated until he had a realization after jumping on one of our one-on-one calls inside P1. He's like, oh, I see it now. And then that's when everything changed for him. And so yesterday we also gave you The niche prompt. And remember, your niche is not a tattoo. You're allowed to change it. You have every right to change it. People get divorced, so why can't you change your niche? It's just a niche. You only need to be one chapter ahead. But most importantly, give yourself permission. Give yourself permission to help your younger self. You have a right You have a right to do this no matter where you're starting, no matter how much experience or inexperience you have. You have a right to at least coach the person that's one chapter behind you because there's someone in the world right now that needs to hear your message. You know, I was thinking last night and I did a post on Instagram. I'm kind of bewildered by the amount of imposter that happens in our industry, and it's justified and it comes from a good place. And the reason why you feel like that is because you're a good person. Think about it. The only reason why you feel that way is because you have good intentions and you're actually a really good person. You know how many scammers are there out there? Not just in the coaching space, but just in the world. You hear about crypto scams, property scams, trading scams. I don't know if you guys ever watch on YouTube, like over-the-phone scammers, people trying to scam pensions of their money and all that. There's scammers everywhere. who go into business to steal your money. There's credit card fraud all over the place. How many of you have had your credit card stopped because someone tried to do a $1 charge on it and try to— exactly. There's fraud happening everywhere, and we're going into this coaching business to genuinely help people, and we feel like the imposter. What, what, what is that? What is that about? You know what I mean? So So understand that it's coming from a good place, but also you have a right. You have more than a right than most people who go into business just to steal other people's money. So you, you have a right. So write that down. I have a right. I have a right to do this. I have a right. I'm qualified because the intention is the most important thing. And people buy your intention. People buy connection over perfection. So on that note, congratulations. For doing your homework. Well done for getting out of perfectionism. Messy is sexy. Connection over perfection. People will never buy you if you're trying to be perfect, period. And action precedes clarity. Well done to the following. I've got a few screenshots of the ones that some stood out. I didn't get all of them, so don't be offended if I didn't get your name up here. There were literally tons and tons and tons. So first of all, we've got Kristen, who serves accomplished women in the second half of life. Wow, that's so cool. Stan, I help 40+ founders transition, find clarity after old context expired. Very cool. First Kiss Challenge Day 2. Nigel, I help overwhelmed professionals get unstuck.
Super cool.
We've got Senia, I help women transition in their 30s to rebuild their identity and purpose. We've got Param moving from, uh, I help women 30+ worldwide create light where they are. Very cool. I help early career nurses overcome self-doubt. I help overwhelmed women in— women business owners reduce pressure. Awesome. We got I help women over 60 rewrite their next chapter. Awesome. That is so cool. I serve women aged 40 to 60 who have spent years putting everyone else's needs first.
Wow.
Sharon, where I help Black women rediscover the value they already bring, identify careers that truly fit who they are. So cool. Nadez, I help overwhelmed female teachers turn classroom expertise into profitable coaching business. So cool.
I help—
Kim, I help women horse owners develop connection. Wow, what a niche! That's so cool. We got Suzanne, I help Christian women 45+ strengthen their relationship with the Lord. And then, uh, I help Indian women outside India over 40 break inherited good girl conditioning. Oh my goodness, give it up for you guys!
Wow.
For those of you that still are on the fence, just pick what secretly feels right to you. You're allowed to change it, but go with your heart, because if you don't go with your heart now, it'll, it'll beat louder and louder and louder. And one year later, you'll eventually go with what your soul's calling you to do. Who's following this right now? Like it's that that voice would never go away until you answer it. So you may as well just answer it now. And how many of you have parents? I mean, how many of you have everyone here's got parents? I mean, how many you got parents? What what a silly question! How many of you have kids? Who's got kids? Who's got kids? Right now, I don't know how old actually type in chat screen. How old are your kids?
Hmm. All right, we've got here soon, says Connie. Uh, we've got 11, uh, 31, 25. Okay, we've got a lot of adult children in the house, or adult, adult, yeah, adult children. That's what you would say. Uh, we've got 12 and 10, we've got 34 and 40. Uh, Ian has 2 kids, 24 and 15.
Side question, because, um, Tony and I, we have very young kids, you know, uh, 10 My kids are 10, 8, and 5. I'm wondering if you're— when your kids are like 40 or 50, do you still see them as kids? I'm just kind of curious. I would imagine you still see them as your kid, like a child kind of thing. Okay, cool. I see a lot of nodding. All right. Well, if you remember back to the time when your kids were— if your kids are older now, young, and you take them shopping and it's like their birthday and they can pick any present they want and you go to the toy store and there's all these toys and they're fluffing around, they're checking every aisle, make sure they don't miss anything. And they check the aisles again twice, and they go back third time, and you're there, and it's like an hour in. What do you finally eventually say to them if they haven't picked something after an hour in the toy store? What do you say to them? Go ahead, type in the chat screen.
Oh, I think this is going to be interesting. All right, we've got here from Window who says, just pick something. Uh, we've got here, just pick something. Brian says, it's time to go pick something, let's go. This is from Kenneth. Or Jeremy's got a good one. He's like, pick something or you'll get nothing.
Oh, I like that one.
We've got pick one from Darrell. Yeah, interesting.
If you haven't picked your niche yet, read the chat screen. That's for you. Just pick something. You got 5 minutes. And if you don't, I'm picking it for you or you will get nothing. Just get something. Stop being a kid. You can't get all the presents. Just pick something because we're leaving In 5 minutes. Cool. All right. Now, totally get it. What if I pick the wrong one? What if I don't like the present? Well, what if you do love it? It doesn't matter. It's not going to be the last toy you ever play with. You're allowed to go back to the store if it's got a 7-day exchange policy and exchange it and pick something else. Most stores have something like that. Maybe it's got a refund policy and just refund it and say, you know, I actually don't want this toy. But you gotta pick something. And the good thing is with the coaching business that you and I are in right now, there's unlimited refunds and exchanges. There is an unlimited, and no one's gonna get annoyed at you. No one's getting annoyed. So just pick something. Now it is legitimate concern that you may think, oh my gosh, okay, I picked it. I love this person, but they don't have the money to pay, or there's not enough money out there, or how can I even make $1 million or even yet alone $100,000? from this avatar because they're broke and there's not enough money out there, or some version of that. And that is a legitimate concern. So I want to talk about that first, because if that's a story that's holding you back, then you're not going to do any lead generation because you have a story that says, what's the point of actually trying to get people to do my Tiny Challenge when they don't even have the money to pay anymore? So you won't do anything. Let me share something that's gonna really allow you to see the world very differently from this point forward. First of all, it's never about not having money. Period. Period. And I'm going to prove it to you. How many of you know of someone, it might be yourself or your parents or your friends, that bought a property and own their own home, but they're paying a mortgage? Like, who knows of someone like that? We all do. Now, how many of you know of someone that bought a property that didn't get a mortgage and bought it completely outright, cash in hand, all that kind of stuff, paid $1 million and didn't get a loan? Not many of us. 99.999% of people who buy a home in the Western world will go to the bank and get a loan for it.
Why?
Because they don't have the money for a house. And they'll get a 25-year loan, a 30-year loan, and in Japan they have generational loans for 60 years where your kids adopt the loan because they don't have the money for it. Why do people buy homes and get a mortgage? Because they don't have the money, but they buy because it's not about not having the money. They buy it because they see value in buying a home. Is this making sense? And so Even if your niche are like low-income earners earning $60,000 a year, I coach teachers or I coach nurses, I coach whatever you coach. Would nurses still get a mortgage? Teachers still get a mortgage? People still get car loans? Now I'm not saying people should go out there and borrow money, and that's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying that it's never about not having money. Who's following this right now? If people see the value in what it is, they'll figure out a way. Now, some people ration. Believe me, I had my years, partly because I'm Asian, where particularly when I started out as an optometrist, I was the biggest tight-ass. So I saved, saved, saved. I tracked every single dollar because my parents told me save, save, save, save, save, save, save, save, save. And so I wasn't earning much, but trust me, I could save a lot. My, my, when I got out of university, my first year I was earning $55,000 a year, but I was able to save $12,000 in that first year. You know that? That's crazy. And then that first year I saved $12,000. I said to my mom, Mom, I saved $12,000 and I wanted to buy a car, but the car was $18,000, my first car, right? And I said, Mom, can I borrow $6,000? I'll pay you back in about 3 months because I knew my savings rate. And she lent me the money for my first car, but I was earning not much at all. But I was able to save because that was important to me. So you just don't know people's situation. You don't know whether they're willing to borrow money or maybe they're living really frugal life and they're saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving. My cousin who wasn't earning that much at all when she was working in corporate, she was earning about $75,000 a year, which is not much. And she really wanted this Chanel bag and she saved up $8,000 in about 6 months to buy the Chanel bag by eating Vegemite sandwiches almost every day and rationing everything out. So we cannot assume that. But here's something that's going to really blow your mind. I need you to believe that there's money everywhere. Type in the chat screen, what was your goal from day 1's homework about setting the intention? What was that? Was it $250K, $100K, $125K, $1 million? What was that thing? When you held this up and said, by this time next year, I'm gonna do my acceptance speech at boot camp, I'm gonna hold this up. What was that goal?
Got some great numbers coming through the chat. I see 120, I see 100, I see 50K months, I see 100K, 350K for Nigel, 200K, 300K, and I will get it bow tied with Daphne who said, uh, 100,000.
Yep, cool. That means you need to believe that there's $100,000 out there for you. You need to believe there's $1 million out there for you. You need to believe that there's $250,000 out there for you. You need to believe that. In order to believe that, you need to believe that that's not the only money out there, that there's an abundance of money. You have to believe that. If you believe that money's scarce and there's not enough money out there, you won't do anything at all to generate leads because there is no point to doing it. Is this all making sense? But if you believe there is so much money out there, you will come and get it. I'll give you an example. If I said to you, I live in Sydney, and if you don't live in Sydney, I said, I've got $1 million cash right now in my hand. The first person to get to my house gets this. Who would fly down to Sydney to grab it? And I mean legit, I'm going to give this away, first person comes to my house. See, you'll come and grab it, and you'll do you. It's like, honey, look after the kids. Get a babysitter. I'm booking next first class flight to Sydney because Richard's going to give me a million dollars when I land to his house. You would do whatever it takes to get that million dollars because you believe that the money is there. Who's following this right now?
True.
There is money everywhere. Look on your desk right now. On my desk, I have several things. First of all, I have Post-it notes, I have books, I have a mouse, I have this pen, this Sharpie. This Sharpie, if you think about what it costs to make this, people think, oh, probably only costs a dollar. But think about it. There's a company that had to make the lid. There's a company probably worth hundreds of million dollars in a big factory somewhere in the world that had to source the plastic. To make this lid. Then they had to source the plastic to make the casing. And then there's another company had to source the ink to make the ink inside. And they had to bring all together to put in this big machine to produce this one pen that you buy for a couple of dollars. But then the plastic company had to come from some sort of oil company worth billions of dollars just to give this company the resources to make this pen. And that's just this pen. And so hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars, of industries coming together to make this one pen. This Post-it note may cost you a couple of dollars, but this Post-it note was hundreds of millions, or if not billions of companies coming together to make this Post-it note. The paper, the resources for the paper, the ink, the sticky part. Now, I used to coach when I was a life coach. I coached this guy who owned an adhesive company worth over $100 million. And he supplied the adhesive to 3M, to Post-it, to other companies that needed adhesive for this. And so they get adhesive from these adhesive companies to make Post-it notes, and that company is worth over $100 million. And he has to source adhesive from other sources to bring adhesive to these companies. And this Post-it note that you buy for a couple of dollars from— it came from billions of dollars of industry coming together for this. And that's just a Post-it note. Now I've got some lip balm. How much industry was created to create this lip balm? And that's just lip balm. And everything on my desk right now— the mouse, the mouse pad, a highlighter— everything on my desk right now came from millions and millions and millions of industry to bring that on my desk right now. And that's excluding the courier company. So you order something on Amazon, you order something on eBay, you order something on Temu, you order something online, and suddenly it comes to you the next day from some courier company that had to pick it up from a dispatching unit and a fulfillment center to drive to you and had to use petrol, had to use something and deliver to your address in a packaging. And that's hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars of industry for that, just for you to bring one pen to your house or one mouse or whatever it is. And that's just a courier company. Now I've got my flip chart. Look at your phone, look at the phone case, look at your computer. What is in your room? Look at the carpet. To bring carpet to your home, someone had to source the resources for the carpet, someone had to lay it, there had to be a labor company, someone had to put the, put the grounding down, someone had to cut it all out, someone had to, someone had to dye it. And that's just carpet. What about your walls? What about the chair you're sitting on? What about the table? What about the picture frame behind you? There is money everywhere in your room right now. There might even be a trillion dollars of things if they had come together just to make up the things in your room right now. Who's following this right now? It is unbelievable on how much money there is. It is so unbelievable that the human mind cannot even grasp how much there is. And all you want is $100,000. Who's following this right now? When you believe, now you cannot unsee that there's money everywhere. You start— you're going to start to do the things that you need to do because now I'm open to receiving because I see it. And this is not to be woo-woo. Energetically, things will shift for you because now you see it. Next time you walk out in the city, next time you walk out to the shopping center, look at the shopping center. It is insane on how much money it takes to build a shopping center, how much money it takes to build a car park, how much money it takes to build a road, how much money it takes to maintain a garden. It is insane on how much money there is out there. Who's seeing this right now? It is wild. So that being said, who's okay regardless of their niche right now? Who's feeling more comfortable now that, you know what, all I'm asking for is $100,000? Who's okay with that? Well, that's all I'm asking for. That's all I'm asking for. Awesome. Now one other thing I want to address before we go into some lead generation, which is going to be the exciting part, is this. Okay, so I've decided on my niche, it's cool, I'm just gonna pick one. Okay, fine, 5 minutes, it's up. Oh cool, there's money everywhere. But what if my niche is saturated? Like, what if it— what if it— like, I mean, I see a lot of the stuff that came out in the groups, like, wow, that's like— that's my niche, that's very similar to mine, that's Like, what if it is saturated? Now, 2 things about being saturated. Number one, the good thing about a niche being saturated, saturated if it truly is, is that it means it's a validated market so that there's money in that industry. The downside to being the first is that you don't know how much money is in that industry. You actually don't know. You're Guessing. Yes, surely there has to be enough money for you, but you don't know how much the big pool is. But in a niche where there's a big pool, you know there's money in that pool. That's why it's got a big pool. So it's validated, ticked. So you know that. Now, does it mean you can't go in and become successful? No, it doesn't mean that. Doesn't mean you shouldn't. No, it doesn't mean that. How many of you love the movie Avengers? Who, who loves this? Who remembers this scene in Avengers? Right, and then they go and they fight. Everybody write this down: there's always room for one more hero. Imagine you go up to the Avengers and say, hey, you need extra hands to help you out fight the villains? Like, nah, we got enough, we're saturated, we're saturated with heroes right now. Well, I don't think that's going to happen. Tomorrow I'll talk about personal branding and the importance of personal branding, and that's how you stand out. But it's very possible. I started out as a life coach, no name, no experience, and I wanted to be a life coach for everybody. And I made over half a million dollars in my very first year as a life coach. And if you don't like being a hero, there's unlimited amounts of villains you can become. And when I say villain, I mean that in a good way, because it might be something that you are frustrated with. There's something you might— you want to stand against. It's something that you may say that you have contrary beliefs, and it's really triggering. And it's like, you know what, I don't believe in the blue world anymore. I don't believe that we should grow up and go through the system and go to university, which is all a scam anyway, to work 5 years in university, spend $100,000, and walk out with a job expectancy and job success rate of less than 20%, which is where optometry is actually headed right now. Because in Australia, they are producing over 1,000 optometrists a year in Australia right now, and there's 8 universities that are doing it right now. When I was doing it, there was only 3. And Australia has only got 26, 27 million population. We don't need an extra 1,000 optometrists every single year. And so now all these optometrists are paid over 6 figures to study for 5 years are walking out without a job. And the ones that do have a job are getting paid peanuts and can't even afford the cost of living. That's the blue world. And some people see me as a villain when I fight against that. And then you grow up, you work, you work your ass off for 10 years to finally save up enough deposit for a mortgage that you get tied down for, for 30 years straight, paying interest to the bank. And finally, when the equity goes up, if it goes up, you put it in your second investment property because that's what you're told to do. And you put 10% in your 401 or your savings or your superannuation, and you get to 65, they say you can't touch it. Because you're not old enough now. We moved the age now 72. And then when you get to 72, you realize you only got $300,000, $400,000, which is not enough to even live at that point in time. And that's why you're stuck for the rest of your life, because all they want you to do is to be in the hamster wheel, because the more you work, the more you keep the economy going, and you are just a cog in the wheel. And so some people see me as a villain. Because I'm anti-blue world, and there's always room for one more villain. Whether you want to be a villain or a hero in your way, there is always room for one more. Now, this person I'm about to share with you is not a villain. He's a hero, an absolute hero. But he got to $136,000 from only $2K, and that was from doing a It wasn't even from selling a coaching package. It was from doing a guest speaking event in 7 months in a saturated niche. Jian Shuo, life strategist. Now he's transitioned to helping high ticket, but he's— he got through this as a life strategist. Check out his story. One of our P1 superstars. So cool. Such a cool guy of what is possible for you. This is from Jian. Let's take a photo first. Like, well done. And, uh, John's in an intangible niche, like more of that performance kind of based kind of coaching. If you're wondering intangible niches can't make money, well, he's, he's that guy. So, and going through a new chapter in his life as well. Got 3 kids, beautiful kids. We've got so many similarities, it's pretty crazy. But, um, congratulations, man. The stage is yours.
Thanks, Rich, man. Really appreciate it, bro. And yeah, man, our friendship has meant everything to me, man. Once we kicked it off out there in Australia, I knew we're going to be brothers for life. So really do appreciate this. All right, guys, I'm on a timer, so I got to make sure I talk quick. So first off, I have so much to say, but number one, for every single one of you guys that are in the room today, let me just tell you, I guarantee you're here for a reason. You are in the right place because My whole coaching business would not be possible without Richmond, his team, and everybody here at Point One. Like Richmond said, I'm an actor, I'm a stuntman. I grew up playing competitive basketball as well. So everything I've done since I was little has been in a team sport and in a team environment. And for some reason, when I started getting into the coaching world, I forgot that. And I tried to build in isolation. I did not have a mentor. I knew I had a skill set. I knew I had a desire. I knew I had the passion. But I did not have that roadmap to get there until I found P1. And I got to P1. They have a world-class team. And I like to say, you know, between Richmond, you know, you got the director, you got Caitlin as producer, you got TK as an executive producer, you got Shane and Chris. And, you know, they're the associate producer. You got a whole team, cinematographers.
It's a whole team.
to bring just a beautiful movie to life. And that is your coaching business. And like I say, I was at— think, I think May was at maybe at $2,000 when I first joined P1. And it was because I hosted a masterclass for someone and that was it. And I don't want to say the word easy, so I'll use the word simple. But Richmond gives you a simple blueprint to get to 6 figures. The problem you'll have is you're still in your own head. And you've got to get out of your own way and just come in, forget everything you know, be dumb, dumb it down for yourself, and just say, hey, listen, if I just do these daily inputs that Richmond has laid out for me, I will become successful. And I had to do that. And, you know, one thing, a lot of us have pride, a lot of us have egos because we've been successful in other endeavors. And when I worked out with Richmond, When we were out in Australia, he did not question my workout one time. Not one time when I say, hey, we're going to do this or we're going to do that. He just said, okay. And he just jumped in and did it and went hard. We didn't even pull off the weight. He was doing the same weight I was doing. He was going hard, didn't complain one time. So I had to reflect on myself and say, well, if he's not questioning me in this arena, why am I ever going to question him in his arena where he's doing $10 million? So I had to shut up. And I had to just listen and follow it. And this is what it led to. And so, brother, you, your team, like I said, this is a world-class program. But more important than that, you guys are all loving people. You guys embrace me with open arms. You let me be me. Every single one of you has such a unique perspective. But you guys are there for us all the time. And like I said, none of this, all these opportunities, my coaching business, Being able to take my family to multiple places because of the revenue I brought in from my coaching business. We just got back from Cabo this morning, so we did seven days out in Cabo for Mother's Day. All of it is possible from you guys, and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can't wait to see where this is going to go. I can't wait to see where our friendship is going to blossom. But Richmond, thank you, and thank you for all the coaches at P1.
Give it up for Gian Shul. All right, if you're a fast mover and you'd like to go first and you see yourself with elite players like that, then I want to make an informal invitation for some of you in the room right now to go to p1interview.com and you can chat to our team to see whether this is the right next step for you. But for some of you in the room right now, if you feel like point 1 could be the next path for you to get there faster, And you're a high achiever, then go to p1interview.com and book in a one-on-one conversation with our team to see if it's the right next fit for you. p1interview.com.
All right. All right. All right.
Welcome back. Welcome back. Welcome back. Okay. All right. So let's do this. Well, first of all, Billy Joe Todd. Billy Joe Todd, are you in the room? Billy Joe Todd.
Yes, sir. We got Billy in the house. Here we go.
Hello. What's up, Billy?
Hey, Dan.
Hey, what?
Nice to see you.
Good to see you. Thank you for putting your post inside the group, dude. I saw a couple of your videos, man. Thanks, buddy. Yeah, we're killing it over here. Everything is in place except for that first kiss, baby.
We gotta get that first kiss, baby.
Let's go.
Killing it over here. So good, man. When you say over here, where's over there? Ontario, Canada.
Ontario.
So good, man.
Yeah.
So good. Everybody check out this guy's stuff. He's he's on fire. Like I mean, your energy is contagious. Cool, man. And he's been doing all the homework. I've been seeing because I check the homework. It's not my VA that checks it. If I'm giving it a like and a heart, it's me checking that. So thank you for showing up in the group and being inspiration. And what? You made an application to point one, dude. So I wanted to bring you up and no idea where I'm getting the money, but I'm gonna find it and you're gonna have it in your hot little hands. Not the million that's in your hands where I'm coming for, but you're gonna have it.
You're gonna have it.
Well done. I'm coming. Well, that's a that's a good point. Despite that, what made you apply? It's time, and you know what? I've interviewed Jian Sha on my magazine Billy Joe Todd.
.com/magazine.
Uh, next up is Wolf Reigns.
He's in this new issue 3. I'm excited.
Love that guy. But they're all part of you, buddy. They've all been through your group or Tony's, you know. Uh, Tony's in there like, yeah, I know those guys. Yeah, I know those guys. But they've all part of you, and that means success is breeding success. So I want to be in the incubator, man. Get me in the incubator, baby. Very cool, man. Very cool. Who loves this guy? Far out. So cool. Very cool.
All right, Billy, give it up for Billy. Ready?
Yeah, it's a pretty cool group. That's the kind of people we attract inside P1. Very, very cool group. All right, let's talk about— and well done, you put in your niche inside the group too. We're just picking something, and if you didn't, then I'm just going to tell you, pick the one you secretly want to do. That's basically mommy and daddy saying, I'm picking it for you. Pick the one you secretly want to choose because you're going to choose it anyway. Guaranteed. Guaranteed. All right. So let's talk about lead generation. Okay. I was very much like Tony, you know, as an optometrist, you don't go out there and do social media. You don't go out there and put a post out and someone likes it and you DM people. You don't, you just, you just don't do that. You have an optometry practice that either you own or you work at, and it's on some sort of street front or in a shopping center, and people walk past and they say, oh, Okay, I think I need my eye test. Or they go to the Yellow Pages back then, or they go to Google and they find it. But coaching, it's not like that. You don't walk past a coaching shop. You don't Google kind of anything. They just kind of pop online because the coach has to proactively put themselves out there. Does that make sense? Like, it's, it's very different. And so It was a wild transformation to get my head around that, yet alone no experience. I was 30, 33 at the time when I finally made the call. And even though 33, I was, you know, I still looked like I was well in my mid-20s. Yeah, super young guy and still relatively young, right? And The thing that was the hardest for me was what will my family and friends think? Especially my parents, because my whole life, Richmond, you're either going to be a doctor, a dentist, an engineer, A lawyer or a failure. And I did kind of second best. I became an optometrist. Culturally, it was drummed into not just me, but all of us. And my social circle had that drummed into them as well. That was the hardest. On top of that, Penny's dad, my father-in-law, was even more traditional than my parents, and I need to tell him. The guy that's married to his daughter, that's meant to keep his daughter safe, that's meant to provide for his daughter, is going to venture out to this thing that's no longer a cultural thing about being a doctor, dentist, optometrist, lawyer, engineer. And that's why it took me over 2 years to finally make the call, because of the fear of judgment, particularly from my family. But you know what the turning point was? Because all of you will have a turning point, and I feel like for many of you, the turning point is now. I'm seeing You're posting in the group why it matters to you, who you're called to serve, this mission that you found deep inside of you. You're here for a reason. I don't think you're here because you don't have anything else to do. I really believe you're here for a reason. Who agrees? Like, you're here for a reason. The turning point was because I was a brand new father, and in optometry You are governed by this board called AHPRA. So every health professional in Australia is governed by a board called AHPRA, whether you're a nurse, a dentist, a pharmacist, a chiro. Like, there's this governing board called AHPRA, and the governing board checks whether or not you've done enough CPD points, continual education points, which you needed 40 per year, checks whether you can work with children so you don't have a criminal record, checks whether, like, you're a responsible human being. They do all these background checks and you have to submit an application to AHPRA every year. And once they approve it, then you can have your license as an optometrist again for another year. So it's very stringent, it's very strict. And on that form, every single year, they had all these questionnaires. You have to submit all these things. And then there was one question at the end that said, how much longer do you plan to be an optometrist for? And there's 4 choices. Number 1, Less than 1 year. Number 2, 1 to 3 years. Number 3, 3 to 5 years. And number 4, 5 to 10 years or 10 years plus.
Right.
And I knew from day 1, I didn't want to become an optometrist for the rest of my life. I just knew it. I just did it for my parents, make them proud, make them happy. But it's not my calling. And I would tick that 3 to 5 year box. Thinking I'm going to work hard, I'm going to save up, I'm going to buy property, I'm going to try to retire early, not knowing what my purpose was, but I just wanted to get out as soon as possible, do the right thing, become the good boy, follow all the rules, and then find out what my passion is right after that. And I ticked that box 3 to 5 years, 3 to 5 years, 3 to 5 years. I ticked it for 10 years straight. And that 10th year I knew, and I had a big realization when I ticked it, and I said, wow, I've been doing this for 10 years, and I've been ticking this same box for 10 years straight. And I had this calling to become a life coach. I had this calling to get into personal development. I had this calling to help people just like me, but I just didn't have the courage until that day came and I ticked that box 10 years straight, and I said, I will never tick this box again. I don't care what kind of judgment I'm going to get from my family. I don't care what my father-in-law is going to say. I don't care what my parents, my friends are going to say. I just don't want to tick this box ever again because 10 years is 10 years too long. And the reason why I left it for 10 years, because I was one of those crazy ones. I would never start something on a Sunday. I'll wait till Monday. God forbid start losing weight on January— on December 31st. I'll lose weight on January 1st. You know, I was one of those people. Why wait until I'm 29 to make a change? Wait until I'm 30. No one changes at 39, people change at 40. No one changes at 49, people change at 50. No one changes at 9 years, people change at 10 years. So everything had to be even for me because I was a massive perfectionist. I had to get all my ducks lined up in a row, but I waited for 10 years. And that 10th year, I said, I'll never tick this box again. And that's the day I decided to let go of every other person's opinion of me because I realized That anytime I succumbed to someone else's judgment, I was building their dreams, not mine. And I didn't want to build anyone else's dreams anymore except for mine. Who's following this right now?
Yeah.
And I share that with you because Some of you may not do today's exercise because you may fear of someone else's judgment. And when you submit to that, you are allowing them to build their dreams on how they want you to be, not on how you want you to be. Just remember that. Who's committed to building their dreams today? And it's not like we're doing it in a bad, terrible way. It's not like we're hurting people. We want to make people happy, of course. We want to make people proud of us. And I remember my mom passed away 2 weeks after I decided to become a life coach, so I didn't actually get to tell her. Because I was so scared. But I feel like I can still connect to her. Whatever your beliefs are, I really feel like her spirit is still here with me. And I feel like she's so proud of my decision because nothing makes a parent prouder than seeing your kid happy. And had I stayed in optometry for another 10 years and become miserable and probably divorced, probably been a bad dad, probably excluded all my friends. She would have seen an unhappy version of Richmond, and she would have felt so much guilt. Who's following this right now? Yeah. So this is the concept of the strategy. Whether you're launching, getting your first kiss, or you're going through a rebrand. It's like, you know what, I'm going to go for a rebrand. I'm starting fresh now. I'm going to— new me, new version, that kind of stuff. Or maybe you just change niches and you just change it today, and that constitutes kind of a rebrand, kind of a relaunch kind of thing, because you're opening a brand new shop, so to speak. If I wanted to open up a brand new steak restaurant Or rebrand a steak restaurant that I already had. I'm going to do some sort of grand opening that might look something like this. Now, who would you invite to your grand opening? The first thought that comes to your mind is probably everyone. That makes sense. If you invite your neighbors, Your parents, your friends, your colleagues, shop owners next door. If you know politicians, invite them. If you know influencers, invite them. Just invite everybody. Why wouldn't you want everybody to come to your launch? It's, it's your launch. Now, if you had a sister that was a vegan, would you invite your sister that's a vegan to your steak restaurant launch? Go ahead, type in the chat screen.
Get it in there for us. What have we got? We got yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Very cool. Very cool. Now, for some of you that are thinking yes, you know why. Some of you are thinking maybe you didn't type in because you didn't want to type in no. And that's logical as well. The old me would have said, no way, why would I invite my sister who's a vegan to my steak restaurant launch? She's a vegan. Like, that's— that doesn't even make sense. And so logically, it wouldn't make sense to not invite her. But my biggest aha moment when I started coaching, when I launched my life coaching business, was I had people in my world who were vegans who were like, they're not into life coaching. And I was launching my life coaching business. And I thought, you know what? Well, if I'm launching, why don't I just invite them to the launch? It's not like I'm trying to sell my sister steak. It's not like I'm trying to convince her that she should eat steak. I'm just saying, hey, I'm opening a steak restaurant and I'd like you to come to the launch just to support me. And if you don't want to, that's okay. I completely understand. I know you're a vegan. Now, everybody write this down. 99% of your leads will be lost because you say no on other people's behalf. And so when I launched, I invited my vegan sister and I allowed them to say no. And if they didn't want to support the launch, if they don't want to come, whatever the case, if they were busy, that's fine. But I was quite surprised to find out that when they came and more of them said yes than no, in fact, almost all of them said yes. Guess what happens when people say yes? So my vegan sister came to the steak restaurant. And she not only pulls out her phone and does stories and does posts and does shares and tags people. Now she's advertising business, and then she might eat the salad option, or she may just have water, or she do something. And every time someone goes out, you're always telling someone else that you know where you are. Everybody knows where— like, there's someone in the world that knows where you are right now.
True.
Like, you're always letting someone know where you are. It's like, where are you going tonight? I'm going to my brother's steak restaurant. Rarely do you go somewhere where no one else knows where you are. It's very, very rare. Someone always knows where you are. And so, what steak restaurant? Your brother has a— tell me more. Oh, oh yeah, do you want to come? Let me ask my brother. And then suddenly they're bringing their friends. Or maybe they post it on socials, they tell someone where they are, and it's like, oh my gosh, you're going to the steak restaurant? I didn't know that was happening. And now you get all this free marketing because you invited your sister who was a vegan who you thought that would never come, so I shouldn't invite her and I'll exclude her because I say no on her behalf. And now you got all these leads coming in from just that one person that you thought you shouldn't invite because they were a vegan. Now I would even argue if you don't invite them, they may even get offended by saying, I can't believe you didn't invite me. I know I'm a vegan. But at least give me the option to say no. Who's getting this right now? At least give me the option to say no. And so why am I sharing this story? Because I'm going to give you a way to do this for your launch, and you're going to be so surprised on what happens. I basically pulled out my phone. I pulled out my phone, and back then I was new to Facebook as well. So all my Facebook friends were my real friends, you know, back in the day when your Facebook friends are your real friends. But then I had WhatsApp and I had phone numbers, and I literally messaged everyone on my phone. Everybody, everybody, my old optometry friends, anyone who I had a phone number on. Anyone I had a connection with, whether it's I met them once and I got their phone number, or whether it's my friend's girlfriend who I had their phone number, I don't really chat to her. Like everyone, my cousins, my brothers, everyone, I message everyone something along the version of, hey, I'm becoming a life coach now, I'm leaving optometry, I'm about to launch, I'm really excited about this, but I'm really scared at the same time. Don't judge me, please. But it just means a lot to me if you could support me if you see my stuff online. That's that's kind of what I said. I didn't ask them, do you want to? Do you want to be my client? I didn't ask them, hey, do you want to buy my stuff? I just I'm just launching. That's it, and I let them say no. So of a hundred people that I message, these are real numbers. These are real numbers. About fifty. Never got back to me, so I blocked him. No, I didn't do that. Don't do that. People are busy. It doesn't matter. You can make 100 meanings, but you know how many how many of you have forgot to get back to someone about a message? Who's ever who's who's who's missed the message? Who's just got whatever? It doesn't matter. But you'll get people who don't get back to you. It's like I can't believe mum didn't get back to me.
That Yeah.
So that's cool. 50 never got back to me, but of the 50 that did get back to me, 30 of them said, wow, that's so cool. Yeah, of course I'll support you. No problems.
You got it.
Good on you. Some encouragement. It was like, wow. And the people that actually got back to me were the people I actually thought that would never get back to me. It's like, what the— this is Pretty cool, because I want to let them say no on their behalf. Whether they choose to not get back to me or they do get back to me, but at least I'm not saying no on their behalf. Who's following this right now? I didn't filter. I didn't go through my list. I'm going to do this person first. I just went through my list from A to Z. That's it. From A to Z took me a couple of days, and I just did it, and I couldn't believe the response. So thirty said, "Of course, we'll support you." Ten said, "You're doing what?" Yeah, life coaching. Oh, I've got some friends that might need help with that. How do I connect them with you? Oh, well, here's my page. I'm going to be start doing some content soon. That's okay. You can you can introduce them to me or tag them in the post. That kind of stuff. Okay, cool. I'll do that. So Ten were like, "Oh, I know some people already that may need help." But here's the cool thing. The other 10 were like, oh, you're life coaching? Yeah, tell me more about that. Well, you know, if you're lacking confidence or clarity in some sort of area in your life right now, or you just feel like you've got low self-esteem and you have some goals that you've been trying to hit but you haven't been able to hit them, that kind of stuff.
So yeah.
Actually, I need help with that. And 2 of the 10 were my cousins. Can you help me? Back then, I didn't have this thing called a tiny challenge. But if I had to do it today, it'll be like, yeah, actually I do. I do this 5-day tiny challenge. We can start there. How does that sound to you? Oh my gosh. Yeah, that sounds amazing. Cool. When do you want to start? I got an opening 3 PM today. We can do the first call today.
Yeah.
Yep. And so 2 of the 10 were my family members. And you might be thinking, I can't coach family. Well, send it to a stranger then. Send your family member to a stranger that doesn't care about them. You're the most qualified person to coach your family because you care the most about them. Of course, you got to set up boundaries. Of course, you got to you know, make it professional. Of course, you got to do all those things. But the worst thing you can do is not coach them. And they have a problem that they're asking you for help and you send them away to a stranger. I don't think that's very ethical. Who's getting this right now? Right? And when I was coaching my, one of my cousins, she came to me with mommy issues. Who, her auntie was one of my favorite aunties, my mom's sister, and I loved her. And I'm like, I got to keep this professional because I'm seeing a side of her that I've never heard before. You guys, you guys getting this? It was like, ah, I didn't know she was like that. But obviously that's too sudden, but I kept it very professional. They hadn't talked for over 18 months and she was feeling so much resentment and guilt, and now they're besties. In fact, she just turned 60 and she took her mom on this awesome trip, 3 weeks across Europe. It's such— so beautiful to see, and it reminded me, wow, It was because I coached her that day almost 10 years ago. And now they're like tight because I cared for both of them and I wanted the best for them. Who's following this right now? Right? So before I give you the prompt And I'm going to give you a recommended script, but I want— this prompt will help make this kind of script customized for you because this is going to be a sincere, authentic, genuine script for you. So it sounds like you, so it is you, so it feels right for you. Remember, intention is the most important. Before I do that, I want to share one more story from Andrea who had never sent a DM in her life.
Never.
She'll share the story in here, but she was our second student who got to $1 million through Tiny Challenges. In this video, she's one of our P1 Superstars. I hand out the award where she made her first $500,000. Now she's on $1 million. So her— the next boot camp, we're going to give out her million-dollar award. But this is when she hit $500,000. So this is from Andrea, who never sent a DM out in her life. She's a mum of 4, grandma to 3, and now she's officially on $1 million. This is the video where she got her $500K. First things first, her award for— she just crossed $500K. Don't tell me it's $750K. It's $500K.
Not quite $750K, $500K.
And so we don't have the name just yet. We got this point one award. I've got to get a Korean name for you. But so this is for crossing $500K and then And then it's over to you, Andrea, as well, because that was really game-changing. And thank you for that. So first things first, let's take a photo. And then stage is yours.
All right. Well, thank you so much, Richmond. And I just want to thank you and your team and I know in on in boot camp we hear from you a lot, and we we hear from Tony a little. And I want to give a special shout out to Tony right now because Tony has been a rock for me since I joined P1 behind the scenes. And you know, and I'm I'm probably the most annoying student because I'm always like messaging, and I'm like I need some help. And you know, but I I try to be the best. Best student. But Tony, um, in, in addition to, you know, the inspiration that we get from you, what a lot of people on boot camp don't realize until they get into P1 is the, the rock. I know he's a rock for you and he's a rock for all of us, but the rock that he is and the insight that he brings. And so special shout out to Tony as well today and the rest of your team. So, um, I just appreciate you all so much. Um, and, and I want to say a special thank you to The P1 community, you have created such a beautiful family, and every person in P1 who shows up and not only takes bold action but encourages each other to be bold, that is, that is the thing that I look for in community and that I aspire to create at the level that you have. But you all are such an encouragement to me, and so I thank you all for that. Um, you know, I have to tell you, before I joined Point One— and I actually joined in May of this year— um, I went to a boot camp 2 boot camps ago. And, um, and I had joined Underdog because I saw a little Facebook ad. I joined Underdog and I was like, I'm gonna try this. I did $43,000, um, within 6 weeks of joining Underdog. And, and I was like— so I came to boot camp and I was like, I've got what I need. I'm not sure I need anything else. And then I heard from you, um, for, for the, the time, and I was like, okay. Because when I started my business a couple years ago, I wrote on a little— I wrote on a dollar bill what my, what my goal for my income was. And I said, I want to make $100,000 a month in my business. And 2 years in, I had never done it. And it was— it's been sitting— this has been sitting on my desk ever since I wrote it down, and I never did it. And I said, if I join, then I am committing to myself because you told me that creativity follows commitment. And I said, if I join, I'm committing to myself that within the first 60 days in P1, I'm going to crack it. I'm going to hit $100K in one month. And then Hurt Locker was announced and I was like, oh, Hurt Locker, I want in. And I applied and I messed up and I missed a message and I didn't get in. You guys, it's no joke. Like, it's hard to get in and it's hard to stay in. And I missed it. And so you know what I did? I could have said, "Oh, I'll just wait till next time." But I was like, "What are they doing? I don't hear. I don't even know what all they're doing." But one thing you had said stuck with me: two offers a day. Two offers a day. What if I just did the thing that they say you have to do, and I just show up, and I and I do the thing? What would happen? And before I started Underdog Academy, I had never DM'd anyone. Because I want people to like me. I don't want to lose friends if I reach out to people. I had literally never DM'd people, and you guys said DM people and make 2 offers a day. And so I said, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it anyway. And, um, and the result of that is within, uh, within that Hurt Locker period that I didn't get into, during that same period, I did $140,000 in sales in my business. I didn't just do $100,000 in sales. I did $140,000. And since then, I've been hot on $100,000 months, and that's become my new average instead of a dream that was somewhere off in the future that I could never reach. And so, and so the thing I want to challenge you with today, all of you who are listening, is I want you to stop hiding, stop being afraid. And so do the thing, be bold. And the thing I know for sure Is that in this season of my career that God is calling me to be bold in my faith. And so I thank you so much for the opportunity to be able to pray for your students. And I hope— I loved Eileen. Thank you so much for bringing her on today. Like, she is so aligned with my heart and, and like what I want to do in the world. And so that was so inspiring to me. And the fact that you align yourself with, with people who are willing to be bold in their faith, that's, that's why I knew I was in the right place when I joined your your community. And so I just want to say thank you, that even if, even if you're figuring it all out and you're, you're who you are, and that you align with people that, uh, that— and you're authentic, you're fully authentic, and you bring people to your community who are fully authentic. And we all appreciate that.
Thank you.
Give it up for Andrea.
Ready?
All right, so here is the script that I use. However, I want you to make it your own. You can use mine if it feels like, oh, that feels like me too, that feels like how I would say it. But, uh, here's a script that I use. I'm going to give you a prompt, and this prompt, customize it for you. And the prompt, when you put this prompt in, it's already going to know why this matters to you. It already knows how you talk. It already has tried to help you figure out your niche and your messaging. So it's got some context about you. So it knows how you communicate. And so this prompt now slots in as the next Lego piece to click into place to make it sound like you. How many of you are starting to see how this is all clicking into place now? And this is why I created the prompt pathway all the way to $100K. It's like the next Lego piece, the next Lego piece, the next Lego piece. Oh, first client done. Next Lego piece. Let's get the second client. Let's get the $10K. Let's get $25K. Let's get to $50K, $100K. All the way with the support along the side. So this is what I use because it feels like me. It's like, hey, hey. I used to say, hey, hey. Like, that's how I say, hey, hey, name. You know, it'd be like, hey, hey, Tony. Hope you and Isla and the kids and the dog are well. See you've been crushing it with your book launch. That kind of stuff. Awesome, man. Hey, like, um. Reason why I'm reaching out is because, as you may or may not know, I'm launching, relaunching, or rebranding— you use the words that fit you best— my coaching business to help the underdog, to help beginner coaches, to help mums, to help whatever it is get more clients, scale to $100K, become full-time, replace the income. Yes, both exciting and a little scary at the same time because you might be seeing more of me on socials soon. So firstly, don't judge. Monkey face. And secondly, it would mean a lot to have your support. Even with a little like here and there would go a long way. As you know, I never take our relationship for granted. And we'll forever be grateful for any support, big or small. And then that's it. I'll send it in a couple of chunked messages. I won't send it in one whole message because that would feel so spammy. But it's as it's— I'm taking the time to send 4 separate messages at one time, but it's split up into 4 messages because it doesn't feel spammy. If you got this as one big message, it'll feel like a copy and paste. Who's following this right now?
Right?
And so, and then I'll just wait for the response. And that's your job. You just wait for the response. And you wait. Don't block people if they don't respond. Don't do that. And don't, and don't just, you'll be pleasantly surprised. You'll be pleasantly surprised. That's all I can say. So that's what I use. It was a very similar version of that, but it was— it's what I would use today. I'll probably use a different version 10 years ago because I was a different me, but it was still me. The point is, it was still me. I'm going to give you the prompt. Here's the prompt. So the prompt is this. There's 2 parts to this prompt. They need to go together. Okay, so it's not like put one prompt in first and hit enter. It's put these 2 prompts in together. I just couldn't fit it all on one page. So this is a launch or rebrand prompt. Now that I've got a niche and my I help statement. Can you now help me craft a genuine, sincere message to send to my peers, colleagues, family, friends announcing that I'm starting or relaunching my coaching business? An example that Richmond gives us is the following. That, that's the first part. Stitch it together with the second part. So I couldn't fit it all on one screen. This is not a sales message. The intent is purely asking for support and encouragement. It's a message to share what I'm doing, communicate who I help and how, invite support and encouragement. I'd love for you to help me write a message in my tone and style so it sounds more like me. So please use any prior context you have about me and how I communicate. You may ask me 2 or 3 quick clarifying questions to understand my personality, if they don't know, but I'm pretty sure your AI already knows it. My story, how I naturally communicate, then write 2 different versions rather, not 3, 2 different versions. Version 1, short and casual. Version 2, slightly more thoughtful and personal. Rules, do not make it sound like a generic announcement. Avoid buzzwords and corporate language. Make it feel like a real message I would actually send. Include a natural line that invites support. So that's the rules. Now, if you don't like the version it gave you and you like my one better, you can use mine. You can use mine. Let's see what this comes up with. It'll come up with something that's probably more like you, but we shall see. So we'll give you guys One song. And actually, no, here's what we're going to do. We're going to give you guys 2 songs. So 7 minutes. This will pump it out straight away for you. It won't take long. But in those 7 minutes, send out your first 5. Send out your first 5. Who can do that? Show of hands if you can do that. Cool. Wow. Look at the room. Look at the room. Send out your first vibe.
Cool.
We'll come back in about 7 minutes.
Ready?
Ready. All right, all right, all right. Welcome back, welcome back. Go ahead, type in the chat screen. How's progress? What's going through your mind? How did you find that prompt? Did you send off any messages? If so, how many messages did you send off?
Let's do it. We've got still prompting.
Jeremy says 3.
Congratulations. Here we go. Suzanne says, got the prompt, getting ready to send the first one. Do it, Suzanne. You got this. Jeremy says, still working on 2 more. I got you. Claire says 3 so far. Sonia sent 3 already. Well done. Well done.
Well done, well done. Come on.
Ready?
All right, well done, well done. And was it— did it disprove anything to you? Or were you like, you know, this is a piece of cake? Like, when you sent it, were you thinking, oh my gosh, it's gonna be the worst thing in the world? And it didn't end up being the worst thing and you didn't die, the world didn't collapse. What did it prove to you or disprove to you? Go ahead, type in the chat screen. What did you learn from that experience?
Julie Marie learned that she's impressed with all the prompts. Oh yeah, that's a real thing. Atholus says here that I proved that I can, yeah, that I can do it. This is from Nads. Yes, so cool. I like this. What about everybody else? Get in the chat. Breaking through some fears. Yep, it's okay to step out of my comfort zone. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, absolutely.
Very cool. Very cool. Yes, the prompts are amazing. That's why I created the Prompt Pathway to $100K because I realized that the map sometimes doesn't fit the personality. Even though it's the right step, it doesn't fit the right how. So how you say things, right? So So we know who to serve, we know what to say, but how we say it matters because it needs to sound authentically like us. And that's why I don't like giving scripts. That's why I don't like— like, you'll never see me give a script to handle an objection because the script doesn't work if you don't say it the way you normally would speak. Does that make sense? And that's why I created a Prompt Pathway for our students. So we give them the steps to do it, but do it their way. So it feels congruent and aligned to them, and then they get to six figures with a more pull energy rather than a push energy because it feels like them. And so the prompt pathway is designed to be customized—the right next step for the person. It's still the right next step, but it's customized. And so that's the whole design of the prompt pathway. So well done for doing the work. Now, go ahead, and I'd love for you guys to. At least post one screenshot of you sending, doing this homework. And if you got a response, even post the response as well. You don't have to put the person's name, you can block them out, you can keep them anonymous. But I'd love to see this because this is going to help the group to show them what's possible, particularly for those that are so scared to send out this message because I don't know what mum is going to think. I don't know what dad's going to think. I don't know what my brother's going to think. I don't know what my father-in-law is going to think. My father-in-law thought I was crazy because I never message him, but I message him anyway. Thought I was weird. Like, people thought I was weird. Like, why do you message me about that for? But it was just a very, very invigorating exercise because I'll say it again, 99.9% of your leads, you'll lose them because you're saying no on their behalf. It's time for you to receive. It's time for you to receive. So that being said, before we wrap up today's call, I want to bring Connie Connie up to the stage, Connie up to the stage. And while we do that, tomorrow I'm going to give you guys a post to do. And so it's the post that I'm designing for you tomorrow is based on your origin story. And I've got a prompt for that. And that post could get a lot of engagement if you do this exercise right. Because you're asking for support and it's like, oh, I did a post and then they all start supporting you. Who can see this happening? Like, this is very strategically laid out for you to win. Cool. All right. Hey, Connie, good to see you again.
Yes. Hello, Richmond.
How, how are you doing?
I knew you were gonna do this, put me on when I'm wearing my pajamas.
Yeah, no, unfortunately there's no hiding.
No, no, it's okay. Working from home, it's good. One of the benefits. Yes.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. All right. Well, how's this challenge been? Because I know you sat in some workshops and all that kind of stuff of mine in the past, but how's this particular challenge?
This one is really good. I feel like I'm making a lot of progress. Even the other ones I have made, but I think I'm in a different space this time. I'm just doing it. Like I was up till I think 1 o'clock last night finishing the niche because I really wanted to get to it. And I think there's still a bit more work, but I'm finding that I am connecting to what I need to do and my next step in my business more. It's getting to the core of it.
Well done, well done. Well, you made an application, point one. I know you couldn't find a time because we'll get organized. I'll DM you in the background and we'll try to get you in outside hours so we can get you sorted straight away because I know you're busy in the weekend and stuff like that. So we'll sort you out. But what made you apply?
Um, I feel like I've done a lot of different workshops, read books, you know, Tony Robbins, all different things. Um, but I, I'm not stepping into it fully and as fast as I want to go kind of thing. Not even that it's not fast, it's I just don't feel I'm effective in what I'm doing. I know it's the, the capacity and the potential is inside me, but I think I need good support. So people that, you know, are there, and I just see that people are succeeding, you know, the people that you coach are succeeding, and I want to be in that group and I want to do that too. So there's no point in me, you know, mucking around, you know, mucking around and trying to whatever, you know, do it on my own. I just don't think I'll get there. I just don't think I'll get there on my own, honestly. I think I need the support. That's the big thing.
Well said. Well said. Awesome, Connie. You're in the right place, and congratulations for taking that next step. Give it up for Connie.
All right, all right, all right.
Now, most of you, as you do that homework— so tomorrow we're going to talk about your origin story because that's going to be your unique Peter Parker story, Bruce Wayne story, Superman story, Iron Man story. Like, every great hero had a story, and there might be some limiting beliefs, but my story is not that special, or it's not that dramatic, or blah blah blah blah blah. Well, hello, I was an optometrist. Not that special. Not that special. I didn't go to jail. I wasn't— I didn't suffer from a drug overdose. I didn't have abuse. I was just an unfulfilled optometrist. So If your story is a bit more than that, then I think you can make more than $10 million a year because that's what we did last year. Is that fair? Is that a fair call for everyone there? Is that a fair call? All right, so we'll talk about that, but we're going to post that tomorrow as well. We're going to do a post about that. It's going to be based on what we do today, and it's going to be the start of you growing your brand because the brand always starts with whatever that story is. Whether it is you were— I grew up in a rich family and I wasn't happy. That could be your story too. That could be your story too. So that's going to be tomorrow. And that's going to be for some of you, even some lead generation. And then on day 5, we're going to talk about now that you've got some leads in, some people said yes, some people said ask more. What do we do now? What's the next step, Richmond? What do I do now? Oh my gosh. So we'll talk about that and how to bowtie. And so ensure that when you get your 3 Tiny Challenge leads, how do we ensure our best chance to enrolling at least 1 out of those 3 into your very, very First kiss. Does that sound like an amazing two more days to go with everyone here? Show of hands. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. So I'm gonna now one last thing before I give it over to Tony to wrap up today's call is if you're messaging people, most of you are probably sending them a text because you have their number, or maybe you're sending them a WhatsApp because you have their number. It's unlikely that you're going to be sending a Messenger. Or something on Facebook because now some people you might because it's like, hey, I connected with you at this event and I don't have your number but, you know, we're friends, right? And some of you might. If you are messaging people on Facebook or you are messaging people on Instagram or something like that, just be cautious. Don't go crazy. Avoid jail, right? You don't want to be sending out 200 of these on Facebook And then go to jail. So just be very cautious of that. Be very cautious of that. Who knows what I mean when I talk about that? Like, you know, even though you know them and stuff like that, I don't think you guys get into a problem because most people you're going to be actually sending them a WhatsApp or probably an actual message. So just be very cautious of that. Just to play on the safe side, maybe just keep it to 20 or something like that. 20 is plenty, but keep it to 20. So that being said, make sure you do your homework and we'll see you guys same time, same place tomorrow. I'm going to pass it over, Tony. Tony, if you want to mention, you're about to jump into a training too. So if you guys got an extra couple of hours, Tony's going to do this training that might be valuable for some of you in the room right now. So Tony, if you want to speak about that.
Yes, absolutely, absolutely appreciate you. And I'm going to drop a little link into the chat just in case you haven't registered for it. It's the raw link, so just love me, it doesn't say anything fancy there. But yeah, in about 15 minutes' time, we are going to be jumping on for the How to Coach Like the Greats dates masterclass. If right now maybe you've got some reservations about messaging that person, or I know that there's going to be a percentage of people in the room right now who are like, you know what? I've got nothing against sending the message, but my biggest fear is what if they say yes? My biggest fear is what if they actually come back to me and say, well, actually, yeah, let's do this. And it's like, oh man, okay, sure. And where to from there? That's what we're going to be working on together. We'll be rocking out for about 2 hours or so. As I said, it kicks off in about 15 minutes. Hit the link if you'd like to come and join us. You are so welcome. We're going to be getting into some hard skills there. So with that said, what an amazing day three today. Can we raise the energy for Richmond? What an incredible day. So good, so good. So for everybody here, notice that we are starting like ten o'clock sharp. So if you were somebody who was in this morning at say ten o two or ten o three or even 10:05. Uh, get your backside, uh, backside trackside early. Come in, you know, right, right on 10 AM tomorrow. We'll be ready to rock and roll. Um, for everybody here, congratulations on today. More than that though, congratulations on being here, being camera on, and just giving yourself permission to do the work that you are doing right now. Enjoy sending out the messages. And my final encouragement to you— I mean, obviously catch us in 15 minutes— but my final, final encouragement to is definitely post some of the responses that you're getting inside the Facebook group because it is just gonna give everybody else all that encouragement to actually take that deep breath and give themselves permission to receive as well. So we're gonna see you same time, same place tomorrow. Until then, keep believing, never settle. Let's go!
Well, congratulations for finishing day 3. You're now over the halfway hump. I commend you for being here and also doing what you said you would do. So first of all, you should be super proud of yourself and I look forward to seeing you on day 4.
