Richmond Dinh says the hook is everything. One ad tested 35 different hooks with the same body and call-to-action. If you're not running ads, watch your skip-rate: pull your best 20 pieces, feed them to Claude to find the pattern, then use that to write every hook going forward.

The most important thing you can do to increase the views of your content is to focus on the hook. I just saw a brand new ad for a marketing campaign which had one body, one call to action, but get this, 35 hooks. That's what most people don't realize on how important it is. So how does it relate to you if you're not running ads? When you're posting content, make sure you check the stats of your content on the skip rate, because the skip rate will determine how powerful your hook is. Go back to all your content, particularly the last 20, the ones with the best skip rate, put that into Claude or AI and get to write a prompt for you based on that, because that's what's working best for you. And for every new piece of content you do moving forward, use it through that prompt, because that's going to allow you to get better hooks based on what's already working.
