Content creators copying viral formats like "good, great, bad" lists without real expertise expose their incompetence. Master your subject first, then use proven formats to amplify reach, and finally develop original ones once you've built credibility.
Chapters
All these wannabe gurus who are using the proven formats to post content like good, great, bad, or these are top 10 things, or doing the whole STBS stuff. And the formats work, they work for a reason. And these guys are getting lots of views, but the stuff they're putting in the content is crap and it's making them look worse. Because the problem with going viral is if you're not competent, more people are gonna know how bad you are. People can tell that you're reciting something from ChatGPT. I'm not disagreeing with proven formats. What I am saying that is if If you're a no-name, if you're a beginner, get really good at knowing your subject matter first, and then you can copy winning formats. And then once you've done that for an extended period of time and you get really good at doing that, then spend a lot of time on creating your own original formats. But if you're just starting out and you have no name, no brand, do not ruin your brand by copying winning formats to try to go viral when you're still not that good at what you do. Get good at what you do first.
