A short motivational YouTube talk by Richmond Dinh arguing that achieving significant success requires the willingness to "walk alone": ignore crowd expectations, overcome fear of others' judgment, and persist despite jealousy or criticism from others. If you want to become successful, then you must be willing to walk alone. Not everybody's going to understand your vision and journey. And this is important because the one thing that will stop you is your pleaser inside of you that worries about everyone else is going to think. And that fear of judgment, of knowing what everyone's going to think. And so when we have that fear crippling us, we don't think big, we don't step big, we don't actually show our success or show our moods because in fear of someone else's thoughts and actions. Now, if you want to be average, then do what everyone else wants you to do. And the secret truth is, the only reason why people get jealous of your journey is because you are their projection. Meaning that they're just beating themselves up, that they didn't have the courage to do what you're doing and now they're trying to pull you down so they don't have to beat themselves up. Most people are so obsessed about themselves, they don't really care about what you're doing. You're thinking about them anyway. And so if you can find the strength to be able to walk alone, then you're going to become infinitely successful.
