Richmond Dinh teaches a three-word tactic for handling objections: when a prospect says no, pause and say "Tell me more." The silence forces them to fill the gap, often weakening their own objection or selling themselves. He claims it works nine out of ten times.

3 words to say every time someone says no to your offer. Use these 3 words wisely because it works 9 times out of 10. When someone says, oh, I don't have the time, I don't have the money, let me think about it, let me talk to my spouse, I'm in another program, or one of those objections, just pause and say this: tell me more. Tell me more. And watch what happens when you hold the silence like that. They will fill it up. And start talking themselves out of the objection or start hearing how silly they sound. And most of the time, they'll talk themselves into the sale. Now here's the cool thing: if they don't talk themselves back into the sale, you pause, you wait, and you say those three words again. Tell me more. They'll be confused, and they'll start talking again and again and again. And you'll find the second time around, if they haven't reclose themselves back into the sale. They'll reconvince themselves as to why they need this again, and then you would've got the sale without saying anything.
