Objection. Handling scripts are the worst ways to turn a no into a yes. Because you sound robotic, everybody knows you're reading it and you lose presence and connection to the person you're actually trying to coach. The best way to handle objections is through a set of values, principles, philosophies and setting the right intentionality. Yes, I get there's going to be frameworks and kind of structures and systems that you need to follow. However, the worst thing you can do is to read from a script. So in this video here, I'm going to show you four real life demonstrations of me handling a five thousand dollar objection when someone was on the fence of signing up to a coaching offer. And you'll see me handle this in front of a live room. This is one of my events or one of my challenges. And most importantly, you'll notice I'm not reading from a script. My intention is very clear with the audience and with the person I'm coaching. And most importantly, I break down what I'm doing in front of the room so you can follow and model the right principles and turn a no into a yes and make more money in your coaching business. So watch these four examples and enjoy. So let's hear about the thing that's been holding you back or that but that's holding you back.
The but that's holding me back. And it's really kind of like is the financial piece at this moment. I know that there's like a payment plan and everything. I know all the benefits from it. However, I really, at this moment, in this time, I cannot afford it financially. And I really looked at different ways. I mean I, I have a business coach that I work with that I pay monthly. That. So I've been doing. So financially it sucks because I would love to be part of this.
I am hoping that maybe.
I know that I'm gonna do some tiny challenges and I'm gonna like build this up and I'm gonna get to a point where I can come back and financially pay for this to do this.
So.
Yes, that's it.
Yeah.
And it sucks because I really wanted to, but I've had. But there's that. But I've had some recent changes that I've had to move recently to a better situation. So I know that this is a step towards my expansion.
And yeah, the financial piece is just like the thing that's like holding me back now.
Yeah.
If we were to figure that piece out, like, let's just hypothetical, if we were to figure that piece out, would there be anything Else that's holding you back?
No, no, I would love to do this. Like, I would love to. I wish I could, like.
Come up with the money. You know what I mean? Like, to do this.
Find, like, some person that would, like, sponsor me to do this.
Because I can give back to the. I have so much to give.
I was a social worker for 20 plus years.
So I know the struggles that people go through. I know that this works. I know that what I offer works because I'm living proof of it.
I'm 100% living proof that what I offer works.
And I know that.
It could just grow. Like, my business can just grow.
Yeah.
I still have good energy.
And I still know that I can make a difference in the world. And I still know that this is not a time to be like, okay, well, I did these five days and that's it. Like, no, my momentum is, like, going, like. Like I said, I was late because I was dealing with my website for, like, the last two hours. So it's like, I could have been like, oh, eff it. Like, I gotta go do something right now. But I'm like, no, this is, like, all part of the momentum that needs to, like.
Keep going. I have a notebook that says I am worthy of success in financial abundance. That I just started writing it and writing it and writing it.
So it's my only. But that's my only setback.
And I feel like.
I feel like a. Not a failure. I feel. I don't even want to say, I feel weak. I feel I need to let this out. Because again, I tell people, like, you can't hold this in. You know what I mean? Like.
So.
I'm being honest, I'm being authentic. Like, I want to show my clients. Like, I want them to believe.
In me. You know what I mean? Because I believe in myself and I want them to see that. Yes, you have the ability to do this too. Like everything we talked about tonight.
So.
Yeah, that's where I'm at. I wish this could, like, last forever. Like, I would come every night. You know what I mean? Like, I would be like, I've gotten so much from this these last.
Four days. Like I said, I have a notebook with, like, stuff and stuff. Just, like, notes and notes that I've taken on this. I've.
I've prayed on it. I've.
Maybe it's just not the right time. I don't know. Maybe tomorrow will be the right time. I don't know.
But right now I'm being, like, super vulnerable, putting myself out there. And I don't even know why I was like, I'll do this. I'll be the volunteer, you know, But.
I did it. So that's what I tell people to do. As an energetic coach in a Reiki Master, you have to, you know, put yourself out there and at times be vulnerable as much as it sucks.
But if we're not vulnerable, then just things just stay deep inside of us that we can never.
Work through because we don't believe in ourselves. So.
I was, like, super vulnerable at one time to somebody, and we were, like, really cool, really good, close everything. I was, like, super vulnerable. And I was like, I'm going to say this because this is what I believe in. And you know what? I don't talk to that person anymore because they couldn't accept the vulnerability. And I was just like. I felt like that was like a lesson that was like. That could have been like, see, you put yourself out there and you were vulnerable, and look what happened. But you know what? I'm gonna keep putting myself out there and be vulnerable because, damn it, that's what I have to do.
So.
That's.
How many of you can feel Cheryl right now.
Hey, Cheryl, have you ever done anything crazy before?
All sorts of crazy and all sorts of it. I'm sorry to swear, all sorts of it. I've done. I've moved to another state when I didn't even have a job last month. I gave my notice, or January 15th. I had. I was living somewhere, and it was just not conducive to, like, me growing and everything like that. And there was just one day that it was just like, no, you don't have to live like this. And it was. It's the dead of winter here in Northern Virginia. It's so expensive to live here to start with. I was like, I wrote my landlord a letter, and I was like, I'm breaking my lease. This. These are five reasons why, if you want to argue with me, I'll seek legal representation. Like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I had nowhere to go. I had nowhere to go within. I manifested this cute little house in the mountains of, like, where my soul belongs. And.
I was like, I fired my landlord. Like, I was like, no, I'm. I'm gonna show up as my best self. And right now isn't. I couldn't be my best self in that place. So, like, that financially put me back some.
I know it's gonna get better. I believe it because I'm worthy of it. Both success and financial abundance.
Maybe this Was my manifestation of the month is being able to be like, okay, you got a place. Like, you were able to. The day I was supposed to move, my movers didn't even show up. My movers, like, who I had been in contact with, who had, like, moved me before, like, didn't even show up. So you know what I did? I didn't even, like, stress about it. I went to this other person, like, the next person that I saw in my community that, like, did move and stuff. And within 15 minutes, I call him up and I messaged him. I'm like, hey, I know you probably can't help me today or this weekend, but, like, can you help me move? Like, I'll pay you, you know, blah, blah, blah. And he's like, we can't do it today, but we can do it tomorrow. And I was like, okay. It was like, Super Bowl Sunday, I think. Or like, no, the week before Super Bowl Sunday. So literally within two weeks, I manifested a place to live, got enough money to, like, do it all, including the move and everything. And I landed here for, like, a reason.
Yeah. So.
That'S it.
I live in the mountains. I live around nature. I live along the Appalachian Trail in the United States. Like, I can step outside, and.
It'S the most beautiful, soothing.
Grounding place.
And I just knew, like, I manifested this because it's like, this is where you need to be, you know? Like, I was living right outside of D.C. and I was like, I didn't think I would come 27 miles out further because of my job and other things, but I was just like, eff it. I'm going. This place showed up in a day on Zillow for a reason, you know, And I looked at that moment for a reason. So I believe it all happened.
Or is it.
So.
I'm gonna keep going. I'm not gonna stop.
It's kind of like, not in my DNA.
I've been dealt a shitty hand in life at certain times, like, since birth, you know? Like, I have a Reiki business that's called Red Cardinal Healing, after my grandmother.
Is the red cardinal that always comes into my life.
When.
When I need it, you know? She's like, right there.
So. I believe in manifestation. I believe in the greater good of things. I believe that things happen for a reason.
Teriya.
Thank you for allowing me to be so vulnerable. I'm sorry. No, I'm not sorry. I'm. I'm not apologizing for something that's really me. So I'm not sorry. I appreciate you all listening to me.
And I wasn't gonna cry. I came in with good energy, but.
And I still have this good energy when I get off the call.
I still have it. I got to go meditate some more and just.
Yeah, that's it.
We're in the right place, Jo.
Well, thank you for everybody for listening to me.
Hey, Cheryl, let's look at some options. Would you like to look at some options together?
I would, but I really cannot afford anything at this time. That's the thing, I can't. Okay, yes, I would love to look at options.
You don't even know what options I'm going to present.
I would love to look at options.
Yeah. Well, what options have you thought about so far? So first of all, like, it's very clear that Cheryl, she, she really wants this so bad and there's nothing else holding her back except for the, like, I mean, and like the first question I asked Cheryl was like, if, if we could find a way to have the money, like, would there be anything else that's stopping you? And she no, like, this is exactly what I want, is where I'm at. And the reason why I asked that question is because I want to make sure that I'm dealing with the right objection when I call objection. It's just a cry for help.
Right?
And it's really important we ask these questions because otherwise, if we solve the money problem. And then she's like, oh, actually you know what? I don't think I'm good enough. I don't think people would like me online. Or I don't. Then she has another but. And then I just solve this. But for no reason, only to find out there was another but. But we know, I'm certain. And Cheryl's certain. We're clear at this point that we're solving the right problem. Like in optometry, in a 30 minute eye test, I would spend 20 minutes trying to find out what the problem is and then five minutes.
Prescribing. Right? And so this is like that in these conversations we need to make sure that we're going down the right problem now. And so with Cheryl, we're definitely on the mark here. Right. Right now the only thing is that physically she does not have the money in her bank account to get started. Right. Like to get started. And then maybe another but is if she did, it's like, well, how am I going to pay the next month? Is that kind of potentially it might be, but she's confident she can make the money to pay for it through the math that I drew today, right, which is, like, I mean, either refer a person or just get one tiny challenge person in. Like, I mean, she only needs to sell a $600 program for this to break even. Who can see that? Who can see that? Like, that's logically. Like, that's. That's not hard. Right.
So, Cheryl, let's explore some options together, and let's just make sure that we haven't exhausted. Like, make sure we've exhausted all our options before we think about what the next best step might look like for you. Is that cool? Like, do you feel like you've exhausted all your options right now, or do you feel like there might be a few more options that we could entertain?
I. To be honest, I really exhausted all my financial options at this time. I don't really have family that I can rely on.
How. What's. What's your source of income right now? Like, how do you survive?
I work. I have a job in the school system that I. That's my nine to five on my day job, and I do Reiki in Energetic coaching.
Yep. Cool. And that's, like. That's, like living week to week, like, that's what you earn is, like, kind of paying off your living expenses. It's kind of breaking even every week. Is that where we're at?
Kind of, Yeah. I mean, kind of.
But what's the reality?
Well, yeah, well, yes. Living week to week and pay my expenses, like, so I can break even at the end of the month, you know, to pay my rent, to pay, like, my bills, to my car, you know.
Yeah. Are you going backwards, or is it just kind of neutral or you have. Or do you have a bit of a surplus at the end of the month?
It's. It depends on how many Reiki sessions I do or.
Yeah. So it's kind of even. It's kind of like you break even at the end of the month.
Yeah.
Yeah. Cool. And how do. And how do you decide on how many Reiki sessions you do? Like, how do you turn on that tap?
Well, I have a website, and I have a booking link, so whoever.
Like, I post regularly about my offerings. And.
Yeah, I started a YouTube channel. Like, so people. I just. I guess I need, like, more.
Like.
More people to buy into my offerings. That's why I want to put out some tiny challenges and, like, because I do have an offer to sell.
And. But I. I love the idea of the tiny challenges, and.
I'm gonna, like, make a post about that, like, probably tomorrow or the next Day about like that so I can get that roll in because I have this momentum as you talked about to keep going and like, I'm not going to stop. Like if I've had so many roadblocks thrown up in my life.
And like people like, damn girl, you just keep going. I was just like, I know, I'm like, well, because I can't stop. Like, what would that solve? You know, like wouldn't be authentically me if I stopped. You know what I mean? Like it's.
Yeah, yeah, got it, got it.
Cool.
Well, which options are you not willing to explore?
What do you mean?
Are there any options that you're not willing to explore in terms of helping you find a way to make this work for you?
No, like I've, I've even been like, oh, maybe I'll. Until my business kicks in more that.
Like, maybe I'll get like another, like get like a part time job to kind of like supplement things. But then I'm like, okay, I'm getting a part time job which takes away from like what I want to build, you know, so it's kind of like.
But then it's like, well, if you don't get that part time job, like what's.
I don't know.
I'm just kind of like.
Stuck I guess. But I'm not. I mean, I've, I feel stuck financially. I know it's gonna get better. I do know that there's light at the end of the tunnel.
And.
Yeah, it's just that financial block that's right now. Like, okay, like even.
I know that they say like, oh, it comes to you when you need it. And like I went to the mailbox today and there was.
I had a check in there for like $60 because I overpaid on my electric bill like before my, when I left my last apartment. I mean when I left my place and I, so I got like a refund or whatever. I'm like, oh, $60. See, like, okay, you manifested a little bit of money, you know, like, so.
I guess.
Yeah.
Great. What else options are you not willing to do? So you're not willing to get a part time job. What else? What else are you not willing to do?
It's not that I'm not willing to get a part time job.
It's not because I've, I've raised my kids who are now adults and during those times I like worked three jobs and went to school, you know what I mean, to college. I took them to school with me sometimes. I didn't have a babysitter. Like they joke, like they say, like we went to college before we were in, even in middle school. And I'm like, I know, like.
So, I mean I've. It's not that I'm not willing to get a job. I don't want that to take away from.
The focus of.
What I'm trying to build here, you know, like my tiny challenges. Like so If I'm working.
20 hours at another job and I'm working at my full time job, that's okay. We're already at 60, so how do I like.
But in the time that I need to, with my tiny challenges and like the things that I've learned here, if I don't have the time. So I can't be the best, I can't be the best coach or whatever or Reiki master if I don't.
If I'm just burning myself out. Like, you know what I mean? From something like you're working so much, but you're working. You're kind of maybe losing.
Grip on. I don't, I don't even know if grip's the right word. Traction on really what is gonna build for you in what you really are passionate about.
So I don't wanna do that. I mean if I had to, I would. But then it takes away the time to build.
Yeah.
My business here.
Question.
With the situation that you're in right now, with the financial situation right now, is that allowing you to be the best coach anyway?
I want to say.
Yes, because I know this is temporary. Nothing is permanent. I know this is temporary and I know that people go through things. And the message that I also give to them is that things are temporary. You know, like it's the work that we do.
To get through these temporary things. So nothing has to be permanent.
Right. Let's explore some other options. What else options there. So option one, which, which you're open to, it's not like you're unwilling to, but potentially part time job could be a thing. It could be. Could be. But what else options do we have? Let's look at some other options.
I don't really have any other options for finances. Like I said, I don't.
My family's toxic. I don't have contact with them. Like that's okay.
What. Maybe that's not an option. What else? What else? Let's explore the land of possibility here. So potentially getting a part time job, what else? What else? And, and the reason why I'm asking Sherwood this question is because the reason why we feel stuck is because we can't see any options in our life right now and we can't see ourselves. Like we can't see. We feel like, we feel like we got no options right now. One option is better than none. It might not be one you want in your life right now, but it's still better than none. Because when you have none, it's like net. It's like you feel like just someone just give me a break.
Right.
My other option is to just really continue to build on everything that I've learned and that I work with my business coach around just to really.
To, to do this, you know, like to really put in the 100% commitment which I feel like I have done.
Even in like my coaching, my business coaching thing that I've been doing. Like I literally started my business from nothing, nothing, like zip. Now I have like a place where I practice in person. Ricky have like I built my own website, you know, like I hear you.
Well, what other options do you have? If provided that you still really want to get into our academy, if that's what you really want to do, what other options do we have on the table then?
I think my two options are to.
Get a part time job which again takes away from the time that I need to be in the academy to do the real work to get there.
And my other option is to really go like full speed ahead, like hardcore straight on to like tiny challenges to build on that, to kick off more.
Yeah.
And which option are you leaning more towards?
The second one.
Right.
Because I feel it's important.
Yeah, it is important. Then why do you need our help then, Cheryl?
Why do I need the help of being.
Why do you need our help? Like if you can to be in the academy all in on the tiny challenges on your own, then like if.
That'S because.
Because I'm a lifelong learner, all of the stuff that you guys are teaching us is so valuable and it's so.
It'S the steps, it's, it's what?
Why do I need you guys? I would love to be part of the academy because it's.
It'S just continued growth. You provide step by step by step of everything that we need to grow. Like I've learned that over the past four days, you know, like you provide everything that we need to grow.
And you know, I've done like master classes and stuff before and it's just a lot of blah, blah, blah kind of thing. But this has like really been something that I'm like, oh my God, like six o'.
Clock.
I got to be ready, you know what I mean? Like to be here for the last four nights. So.
Yeah, yeah.
What's the first target? Is it, is it just about. How do we find the first 595 deposit? Is that where we're at? Or are you looking for something else or something more?
I don't think I could probably.
It would have to be like a few months, you know what I mean? Like, I would have to be able to.
How much do you charge for your services?
So if I do distance reiki, it's $100 per session.
If I do an in person session, since I have to pay for space there, I only end up getting like $78 from it out of 110 because they take it, they take part of it.
So you're going to need at least like six sessions, maybe even nine sessions to come up with the 600 or 595 deposit. Is that where we're at?
But I also do energetic coaching and I have a six initial, like introduction, six week package where I address like six pillars of kind of what's holding people back in life. And that is 7:49. So if I sold like one of them a month, you know what I mean? Like it would pay for it.
I guess I'm struggling to find the people to buy that coaching session, you know, like it's. Yeah. So that's why I want to.
Do these tiny challenges and like already having my.
Canva about like a little, like what these tiny, like about my tiny challenge, what it's going to be like, what we're going to tackle in it, you know, like during our, like to say four or five sessions, you know what I mean? So have planned for it.
It's just kind of like getting off the ground.
So that's where I'm at.
Got it. So I want to share with like how many of you in the room have heard of the, you know, if you, if you want to take the island, you're going to burn your boats. Like, who's ever heard of that kind of analogy before? Anyone here? Great. And it's kind of being sold in this personal development space that, you know, get all in, cut off all your ties, burn your boats. I mean, to have 100% focus. And there is a lot of truth in that, right? At some point you do need to burn your boats and not have a way out because then you can put 1000% focus and you can focus and get your business on fire. Now there's one distinction about that, which.
You know, and I discovered this distinction when I started coaching coaches five years ago. Right.
And the thing I don't like about that statement.
Is because people burn their boats when they're a kilometer out from shore.
Only to realize that A, they can't swim, B, they can swim but they're not that distance, or C, they spend the next two years trying to swim to shore because they burnt their boats too far from shore and it's too far and the burnt boat's gone now. And now they're just trying to swim to shore to get to the shore and. And then wasted a couple of years doing it.
So yes, you do need to burn your boats. But the question is when?
When, like in point one we have a one on one call with all our inner circle students about this is it's that important? Like the burning your boat conversation is so important. We actually have a one on one call with them about this if they're actually about to make their decision because we don't want them making an uneducated decision. We want to make sure that they make a decision that they're about to burn it on the shore. First of all, is this making sense for everyone? Cheryl, you make sense for you as well. Yeah. Cool. And so what does burning your boats look like when you burnt it 1km from shore?
This is what it looks like. Sometimes it looks like, okay, I don't have the right, maybe I don't have the right support structures around me to be able to do it. Like I burnt it, but where's my army? Oh, crap. Now you're vulnerable. You're dead. Right? Maybe you don't have the right. You don't have like enough cash flow to even survive yet alone run a coaching business. But just living week to week to week because you quit your job too early, you're like, whoa. Because you haven't built up the marketing skill set or the sales skill set or the challenge or the thing that you need to do before you like, you know who's following right now. Right. That's when you know. And it's like now you're just under this pressure just to pay rent next week. How do you live with that pressure and try to build a coaching business at the same time that's one kilometer from shore and you don't have the support and if your whole family's toxic and no one like, and it's like, whoa. Because you sold this story now I don't know if you've done this, Cheryl, I'm Just the room here because like many of us have sold this story that, yeah, I got to do it. Now, I took personally for me when I burnt my boats. I did burn my boats, But I took five months to burn it. Five months? Five months. Like I had a plan. I was working 50 hours a week as an Optum, not 40, 50. I was working six days a week as an optum because Penny wasn't working. We had a one year old, she was pregnant with our second child. I was working six days a week while building my business up and it was hard. And in the first two years I barely saw my kids.
Right. And then finally when I transitioned out, like I was doing, I was being a dad, a husband, a business owner, an optometrist. And it was a lot. And could I focus and do one thing well? No. I was doing a terrible job at being a husband, I'll tell you that.
I wasn't focused in optometry because my eyes were on coaching. But I couldn't give coaching my all because I was an optometrist because I had to build the cash flow to support my own lifestyle. And then a brand new dad comes in the way, one year old.
But I did that early sacrifice because I knew there was a brighter future waiting for me. And like you said, Cheryl, everything's temporary. The pain is always temporary.
And so Cheryl, what temporary pain are you willing to go through in this instance, if you like now, if you, if you don't feel like the academy is your next best step, completely, okay, right. But if you feel it in your heart of hearts, like you must, this has to be your next step. You got to get into that two day workshop by next week. You must have like, that has to happen. If that's what you actually feel, great. But if you don't feel that, that's cool and you're like, you know, I can do this later, that's equally okay as well, right?
What temporary sacrifice are you willing to do? Temporary. Right. Temporary sacrifice are you willing to do to make this happen for yourself?
I mean.
I mean I can get, look for another job, you know what I mean? Like begin it, I can look for another job.
But in, I have been in those times where I have worked 60, 65, 70 hours a week as recently as last year. And it was not good for my mental health. It was not good for.
Just, I was, it was not good. It was just.
My body didn't respond to it in a good way, you know, like.
I was feeling burnt out that I couldn't like.
Feel free. I mean, feel.
Feel comfortable, you know, Like, I was burnt out. My body just was, like, starting to shut down, and I was like, okay, well, this is not helping me with my own health or anything else in my life. It was basically waking up. And again, I've worked my ass off my whole life.
So I'm not scared of hard work. You know what I mean? I've done.
So. But I don't want to put myself in a position where it's like, okay, here you are back to working.
Like, 65 hours a week, and you can't focus on what you need to focus on to build your business. You know, like, you can't focus on that. Like, I was literally waking up working, working, working, going to sleep, maybe could squeeze in a little bit of time for my business during that time, like, or whatever, and then go to sleep, wake up, same thing, same thing, you know, and it was just like.
And it was just not good. It was not.
Conducive.
To growth.
I mean, I love my day job. I have.
I know people that work in the school system never say that, but I have, like, a really supportive boss, like.
And my team is really good. You know, it's just this.
So it's like this.
Yeah.
I don't know where I was going with that.
You're right, Cheryl. Hey, Cheryl. So where to from here, then?
I'm going to.
I believe I'm going to be successful. I believe, like I said, I deserve abundance in financial abundance and to be successful. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take all of this knowledge, all of it, pages and pages of it, and I'm going to use it, and I'm going to make this happen somehow. And it may not be tomorrow.
It.
May be in, like, two months, maybe two months.
That I'm gonna be able to, like, really.
Hopefully that I am going to be able to do this. I don't want to say hopefully because I do believe in myself and I do believe that with all the hard work that happens in life comes.
The ice cream sundae at the end, you know, like, it's. I do know that.
So, yeah. So maybe it's not. Maybe this isn't my time right now to do it, and. But it doesn't mean it's not going to be my time later.
I think you're right, Cheryl.
When people say, like, oh, you know, you have time to get like.
Like, I don't. Like, really, my life is like, my work, my business. Like, I don't.
Like.
Go out, you know, like, I'm just, like, focused on life in making this be successful, and that's my focus. And I know that it.
Takes a lot of work, and I'm here for the work.
And I do know that I'm going to look back one day and be like, oh, my God. Remember when you had, like, five followers on Instagram or whatever? Remember when you were struggling to do this? And. And now look it, you know, like, it's like, boom, boom, boom. You know, it will be.
I believe it will happen in time.
So, Cheryl, I would love to. I would love to put a boat on this call.
And keep in touch with you. And then when you're ready, you reach out to me. I'm not going to reach out to you. I just. I feel like when you feel that it's ready, you can reach out to me when you're ready, when you're ready to take that next step. Sound good to you?
Yep.
Very good.
Guys, can you appreciate everybody listening.
You're welcome.
Foreign.
On today's call, I want to do a live demonstration of a $5,000 objection handling conversation.
Meaning that if we have someone that is yet to apply but is on the fence, is met with that situation where the shop assistant said, we can do it now, and you've been wanting this for some time, and now you're like.
No, I don't want to do it after lunch if that's you. And it's just. Something's just stopping you. But you know that this is the next step for you, and you know this is. You want. And maybe you need some hand holding to help you with that decision.
I'd love to bring you up on stage and help handle that for you. And then in turn, you're going to actually watch a live demonstration of this happening. And if we've got time, Tony might even jump in and help break it down, because this is Tony's art. This is what Tony teaches our students what to do. Right. On how to have that conversation to help them make an empowered decision for themselves. And by that point, you're going to have some skills and tools and strategies on how to do it on your $1,000 program, on your $3,000 program, on your $5,000 program. Would that be valuable for you guys to learn how to do that? Yeah. Would your business potentially double from learning these skill sets in the same amount of work and effort and energy? 100%. 100%. So.
Okay, you know what? You know, sj, I think you deserve this because you've been amazing steward, you've been an amazing student, you've been an amazing human, you've been engaged. And I sense that you're not putting up your hand because you just want to put on a show for everyone here and make it hard. You know what I mean? But you actually want change. Yeah.
Sj, first of all, what a name. Sorry, we've given you name. I'm glad you love it.
No, don't be sorry, man. I'm really stoked that I can now change my nickname from Shoei to sj. It's way better. I actually mentioned it to some people yesterday, like, yeah, that's way better. You don't even do shoeys.
Very good, very good. Well, I'm glad that most people kind of know your backstory. Anyway, I'll just start with a straight up question on.
What'S, what's going on? Like, what's, what's really holding you back from making that? Because you have not made an application yet.
And I'm thinking, no, I know, I didn't, I didn't.
And.
I think what's holding me back currently is all the courses that I've paid, all the payment programs I already have running. I've signed up with Tony, Tony Robbins Business Mastery, which is amazing.
I've got all these expenses.
I'm going to put in another one on top of that.
And I think the other thing is I also don't have my program or.
Offer yet. And I think that's holding me back as well. Like, okay, if I have my offer on my program, yeah, I can go for it. And it's like, yeah, but now I'm going to put down, let's say the deposit and then the payment plan.
Yeah, that's what's holding me back now. It's like, okay, I'm paying Australian dollars, like $750 Australian dollars a month now for Tony Robbins program. I'm paying this. And I've got my motorbike on the finance and I quit my full time job. So I'm working only part time. So I don't have a secure income yet because I went back into hospitality now because that's my background. And then the last four weeks have been struggling because there was not so many hours in hospitality because month of January in Australia and Sydney, it slows down.
And I just got my roster for next week in the, in the restaurant. And I was like, oh, things are starting to work out for me because I got 39 hours next week in three days, so I can actually work three days, have a full time job in three days. And then I've got the other four days to work on my business. So it is coming there. It is getting there.
Yeah. So still sitting on the fence. The other reason I can tell you as well is that I've also been in contact with Luke Hawkins. He's also a coach in Australia. He made me a great offer as well. So I've got another call with him. So I'm like, what I do, Do I go with Richmond and Tony or do I go with Luke? There's so many options. And with both, with Richmond and Tony, K. With the both of you, I've got a great connection, great feeling and I can relate to a lot of things. And I've got the same with Luke. So it's like tossing up like which ball?
I hear your dilemma. Yeah, he can feel his situation right now. Yeah, yeah.
I can see some comments there. I've got two screens. So I'm reading the other comments.
Very cool. Very cool. So if you were. So if you were to take this next step.
What would you be most afraid of happening?
I think at the moment I'm also a bit overwhelmed by everything because I did, I just did Tony Robinson, Date with Destiny and I just did Tony Robbins, Business Mastery two weeks ago. So there's so much information. I still have my whole. Like all my notes from Business Mastery, Tony Robbins and I've got Date with Destiny. I'm still working through things. I've got like so much that I'm like. And then I've got the work and.
I had a bit of stress of.
Not having enough income and like I was stressing in the beginning of the month of January to pay my rent. So it's just so much. I'm also training for triathlon, which is next month. And then I was like, overload. Yeah, I can see Elizabeth, information overload here. That. Yeah, that's what it is now. It's like, whoa. Should I just maybe just take a step back and breathe and then. Well, it's actually quite funny because I'm.
A breathing coach yet. I need to breathe.
And just get. Yeah, just let it all. Tony Robbins also says, like opportunities come, you have to grab the opportunity because.
The window achiever, like all of us. Triathlon, my gosh, hats off to you.
Right?
That with Destiny. Love it. My favorite program on the planet, Business Mastery. Amazing program as well.
Nlp, all those things that you're doing right now. And it's very easy for us achievers to get in this Situation where.
It can be quite overwhelming because we kind of want to have it all. Right?
And I believe that SJ and everyone else in the room, that you can do anything, but you can't do everything. And so for you, sj, if you were to just take a couple of deep breaths right now in your breath work way, what's most important to you right now in this next chapter of your life?
I think the most important thing is.
To launch my breathing coaching business.
In best possible way so I can serve as many people as I can.
That's the most important.
And.
I do feel that.
The underdog academy is offering that framework, that family.
Which is something that is really important for me right now. And from Tony Robbins family, I get other things.
There's other coaches, there's other.
Like I've got.
Was my. My breathing coach as well, because I learned from, I think, the best person in Australia. So I've got that family, then I've got the Tony Robbins family. So now I'm looking for another family to add into my life where I can.
Learn how to be able to.
To put myself out there and to get the clients so I can actually serve the people.
I've done a lot of sales in the past, and especially in hospitality. You sell food, you sell beverages in hotels where I work. And it comes naturally. But then when I'm like, oh, yeah, but I don't have to sell, I think it was Dean Garziosi that says, you actually doing people. I can't remember the exact words, but you're doing a miss. And you're not serving them by not selling because you need to get your message out there. If you don't, those people won't find you and you're not able to serve them. I think it's somewhere in that context that he says it. That's so true. It's not sales. We're doing them a disservice. I think that's what he mentioned, a disservice. If we don't put ourselves out there.
Make them aware of us and what we can do for them, how we can serve them.
You're allowed to breathe. You're allowed to drink water. This is your time right now.
Yeah. And I think another thing, and it's still in there. It's the money story. It's also keeping me back, holding me back. And it's where I come up from, grew up from, and I shared my mom how much money I paid to go to Tony Robbins. I should have never done that because she's like, yeah, you see how rich is that man? You see? I was like, yeah, Mom, I said, no, he's rich. I said, one day I'll be rich. And then I told her, I said, within three years, I'm moving you to Australia. You're going to live with me in Australia. And she's in the Netherlands and she doesn't like the cold. And she's like, yeah, first see, then believe. I said, no, mom, first believe and then you will see. And so I'm actually not coaching my mom to change her way of thinking. Yeah.
If you were coaching yourself right now as if you were coaching your mum. Yeah.
Yeah, that's so true. Because, yeah, when we grow up, I remember my mom always saying like, shoot, money doesn't make you happy. So what I've done all my life, my money blueprint was, oh, if I have too much money, I won't be happy. So I've, what I've done, I've just got rid of money all the time in my life. I never have money. Just in my subconscious it goes like. But if you have a lot of money, then you're not going to be happy. You can do a lot of things if you have enough money that can definitely assist in you being happy and make other people happy and serve and give to charity and be able to grow. I think it's really time to break this.
Cycle of my parents and my grandparents to actually become wealthy so I can actually serve more people. Change that mindset.
Yeah. I think when you bring your mum to Australia within the next three years, maybe she will see that money does make you happy.
Well, she's coming in two weeks.
She's coming in two weeks. For three weeks, so.
Well, don't tell her you did a five day challenge with some crazy Asian guy.
No, no, no. She loves Asians. She's in Bali now.
Very cool. So, sj, launching and growing your coaching business is most important to you right now. Bringing your mum to Australia within the next three years permanently is also most important to you right now.
Where to from here then?
Put the deposit down.
Yeah.
And I told myself two days ago, I'm not going to use my credit card anymore. I'm not going to use it anymore.
That's so funny. I have to keep my word. Say what you do. I'll find another way. I've got till Sunday or I can do it now. There's another.
Because now when I said I got till Sunday, I thought about what you said about your daughters and the year.
So that's not going to work.
Would you like to do it now?
Yeah, I'll do it now. Let's do it now.
First of all, give it up for sj.
How many of you? Since we're talking about sales and everything like that, how many?
