You know, a lot of people ask me, hey, Richmond, how did you become a successful optometrist? How did you become a really successful property investor? How did you build a successful coaching career in a very short amount of time? And, you know, the one thing I attribute all my successes to, it was who I surrounded myself with. It was who I decided to spend time with. And if there's that one person that made the biggest impact in my career, it would be my wife, who I've been with for the last 13 years. Jeez, I feel old just saying that. At the age of 22, she was the one that decided to follow me and support me when I decided to leave Sydney and move to another town so I could build a successful optometry career. And then when I was 24 and decided to buy my first investment property, she believed that I could do it in. Even when it came to renovating some of those properties and we started painting them, she was there every single day, morning and night, helping me renovate those properties so we could get a higher rental yield. And then she supported me when I decided to open up my very first optometry practice. Even when I decided to leave optometry, a career that paid very well, gave us so much certainty, so much security, so much safety. She supported me in chasing my dreams, in doing what I do now. But most importantly, she was that one person that stood by me every single day when I had my own financial collapse. Not once did she ever blame me for what had happened. Not once did she ever made me feel like that I was never enough. In fact, throughout the entire time, she always believed that we'd be okay. And she always believed that I would be able to turn things around. You see, quite often, the journey to success begins when someone else believes in you first. And I can assure you, the more you surround yourself with people who believe in you more than you do, the more successful you will be. So, Penny, this video is just for you.
To say thank you.
For all that you've done and thank you for always believing in me. Sam.
