Why do we Fall?

Richmond Dinh describes launching his coaching business with nearly empty seminars, months without income, and a newborn at home. He realized success required becoming a different person: more resilient, resourceful, creative, and bold. Failure, he says, comes not from lacking knowledge but from not knowing who to be.
Why do we fall?
Why do we fail?
Why do we cry?
Why do we need to feel so much pain? You know, when I started my coaching business two years ago, I had no idea on how tough it would be. I had no idea on how competitive it would be, and I had no idea on what I needed to do to become successful. And I remember early on, I had seminars where literally only one person showed up. And I had months and months and months where I literally made nothing.
And I still had to find a.
Way to support my family. What made it even tougher was that.
I started this business when my wife.
Wasn'T working and we had a newborn child. And there were so many times early on where I said to myself, you know what? I'm just not cut out for this. I'm just not made for this. This isn't for me. And I remember six months into my journey, I was sitting at home with my head down, and I was feeling sorry for myself.
And I just wanted to give up because I just. I didn't know what else I could do.
And then it hit me.
And then it hit me. And I realized the reason why I.
Was stuck was because I was so focused on what I needed to do when I should have been focused on who I needed to be. And that's when everything changed. Because I knew that the person that was running this business at the start could not be the same person that would drive this business forward. And so I became resilient. I became resourceful. I became creative. I became bold, I became daring. I became courageous. And I stepped into my greatest self. And that's how I built the successful coaching business that I have today. And I learned an important lesson that failure occurs not because you don't know what to do, but because you don't know who to be.
And so why do we fall? Why do we fail?
We fall so we can get back up. We fall so we can rise again. We fall so we can grow, so we can expand, so we can give our spirit a chance to become more. We fall because greatness requires a worthy opponent. And I can assure you, the more you realize that success is not about what you need to do, but about who you need to become, the more successful you will be.
