Will AI Replace Coaches? (4 Elements to Stay Relevant)

Richmond Dinh argues that AI can already outcoach beginner coaches on information alone, so coaches must add four irreplaceable elements: a detailed step-by-step map, real-time rerouting when clients go wrong, accountability that breaks habits, and community. He shares a prompt to build this offer and a script to sell it at $3,000 to $5,000.

ChatGPT can outcoach most beginner coaches right now, and the bad news is it's getting better faster, and it can create frameworks in seconds. More than that, it never gets tired, it never gets emotional, it never doubts itself, and on top of that, it's available 24/7, anytime, anywhere, at a cost that no coach can even compete with. And so if your coaching is just about information, that might be the reason why you're not signing on any clients right now. So in this video here, I'm going to go through the 4 elements that every coaching offer needs in order to stay relevant in the marketplace, but more importantly, how to position that offer to make it an easy yes for your prospects to drop $3,000, $4,000, $5,000 to your coaching offer rather than staying with the free option or the low-cost option with AI. I'm also going to drop this killer 200-word prompt that's going to allow you to create coaching offer that AI cannot replace, because the future of your coaching is not about information, it's about giving what AI cannot. So there are 4 things that every coaching offer needs for you to generate revenue for your business and get paid now. And I mean now, because when you think about it, you need to give a compelling reason for them to drop money with you when they can get it for free, or it's easier, it's more convenient, and it's more accurate. And so in order to survive in today's industry, the first thing is every coaching offer must have a map. Now I know what you're thinking— AI can create the map for them, you can put in the chat and create the map for them. But this is the first step, and I'll show you how you can make your map different. So I want you to think of it this way: if you are putting in coordinates into a GPS, if you are overseas or you're going to a new restaurant or going to a friend's house, you're going to a place you never had been before, you put in the address into Google Maps and it draws you that blue line. Now the reason why people want that blue line, because it gives them certainty of success. That's the key word, certainty of success. Now that blue line is ultra important because have you ever been in a situation where you're driving to a destination, you got the blue line in it, and you know you're about to go through a tunnel or you know you're about to lose reception, or you only have 1% battery left on your phone and you know that you're about to lose that blue line, what goes through your mind? You are going to start to freak out. You're going to start to panic. You're going to start to get stressed or overwhelmed or think, maybe I'm going to get lost, I'm never going to get home. And so having a blue line to success is ultra important, and that's what we call the map. That's what we call the pathway. The problem is most coaching programs don't even have a map. They don't even have a pathway. They don't have their version of blue line. And so you always must create a blue line to success. Now, most AI can create a blue line. So for example, if I said to you, okay, you can sign up with me and I'm gonna show you the map to get your first 5 paying clients, and that map is gonna be worth $1,000, and here's the link to pay me $1,000. Well, you might be thinking, well, why should I pay Richmond Dinh Dinh $1,000 when I can go to ChatGPT or Claude or Gemini or some sort of AI and say, create for me the map on how to get my first paying clients when I'm just starting out from scratch. And you could do that and it'll give you a map. Now, the one thing that you can do to make your map different is then in your map you are going to include, yes, the pathway, the blue line there, but you're also going to include the things that slow them down. So the traffic lights. So in this map, I'm going to show you where the speed cameras are because I've gone through this map myself. I'm going to show you where the speed humps— I'm going to show you where there's a traffic jam. I'm going to show you where there's roadworks. And this map is ever evolving, it's constantly being updated, whereas AI doesn't constantly update the map and AI is drawing information from the past. This is the map that you can get now, it's most relevant. So that's your positioning angle when you're selling a map that is constantly updated, but also you know all the potholes, you know everything there because you're driving through this in real time and you're taking your students through this in real time. But the first thing is you must have a map. When you have a map, you will already have a strategic advantage over everybody else because most of your competitors actually do not have a map. I want you to think about it. How many coaching offers or programs have you been through and the first thing they give you is a blue line to success? Most offers don't do that. And so the fact that you have that, it's already gonna make you different. So that's the first thing, but that's not gonna make you irreplaceable, but it's the foundation. The next thing you need in every coaching offer is some sort of support. But here's the key, because Have you ever driven to a destination, you got the blue map, and it says turn left, turn left, turn left, turn left, turn left, turn left, in 300 meters turn left, in 100 meters turn left, in 50 meters turn left, and before you know it, you forgot to turn left. Or maybe you were daydreaming, or maybe there was 3 left turns, it was super ambiguous, and you're like, oh my gosh, I got confused, I turned on the wrong left one, or you turned too early, or you turned too late, and that happens. Now what happens when you turn off the wrong road and maybe you end up on the freeway, you end up on another route, and it now goes from the ETA of 24 minutes to get there and it goes now to 29 minutes or 32 minutes or 52 minutes because you've took the wrong turn? Super frustrating, really annoying. You get there longer and you get a bit angry sometimes or stressed. But the good news is Every time you miss a turn or you take the wrong turn on Google Maps, within a couple of seconds it reroutes you with a brand new blue line. Why? Because the blue line is the most important to give you certainty of success. And as long as there's always a blue line there for you, you're always going to revert back to, well, at least I'm going to get there. It's going to take me a bit longer. So you always need to have some sort of support in your program to to reroute them on the map when they take the wrong turn. And so if you're, for example, in our situation, if we're helping students get from zero to the first 5 paying clients, there's gonna be a map for that. But not everyone will follow the map flawlessly on the very first time. In actual fact, most of the time, if you're going somewhere, for example, if I'm going to a new place, it's about an hour ETA in the city, in a suburb that I've never been before, it's a very good chance if I'm particularly driving in America or going to America, I'm going to turn off the wrong road at least once or twice, and that's only on an hour trip. To get your first 5 paying clients, that could be a month. For an hour trip, if I turn off the wrong road once, how many times do you think they may turn off the wrong road in a 30-day process? Probably a lot of wrong turns. And so it's not about trying to prevent your clients from turning off the wrong road, because they will do that. They'll get confused, they'll forget, they'll daydream, they'll go through shiny object syndrome, they'll They'll get stressed, they're overwhelmed, they speed, they slow down. But when that happens, they're gonna need support to reroute them with a brand new blue line when they turn off the wrong road. And so the key about having support in your coaching offer is that the support needs to be positioned that we are supporting you on rerouting you with a blue line every time you turn off the wrong road. See, most programs either don't have a map, but they have tons of support. You can have a Facebook group, you can DM me, you will have unlimited one-on-one. We have this community, we have this library, we have all these things, but what are you supporting them on? If you're not supporting them on any map, then the support doesn't mean anything. For example, if it's like, hey, if you lose the blue line on Google Maps, call this number. I don't wanna call a number if it says you got this 24-hour hotline and you can call the number anytime, anywhere, we'll pick up within 5 seconds and we'll support you on the phone. I don't care about how much support you give me. All I care about is give me a brand new blue line. Yet most programs have so much support, but they don't have support on anything. They just say, hey, where do you need help? Help on what? Help on a blue line. And so this is the foundation of having support. If there is no blue line in your coaching offer, there's no point for having support because you're supporting them on nothing. And that's the reason why most coaching programs are failing with a lot of support, because they're not supporting them with a brand new blue line every time someone gets lost. And so if you've been in multiple coaching programs and you haven't got results, one of the reasons why you probably haven't got results regardless of the amount of support they gave you is because every time they try to support you, they're not giving you a brand new blue line. They're just hearing you air your problems. Okay, maybe try this and maybe try this and maybe try this. Well, no, I don't want to try that. Just give me a brand new blue line because I accidentally turned off the wrong path. And so the support needs to be positioned on supporting with a brand new blue line so so that they get to their goals with certainty of success. And so if you have a promise of, hey, I'm going to help you get to $100K in the next 12 months, but they turned off so many wrong roads, well, it may take them 16 months, it may take them 18 months. The ETA just gets extended, which is a bit frustrating. But I'm sure if you're watching this right now and you got to $100K to replace your income, to leave the corporate politics, to work this time in 18 months rather than 12, I guess it'll be a bit annoying, but you wouldn't be complaining because you always had the blue line. Is this making sense? This is critical. This is going to allow your students to have always a peace of mind that they got certainty of success. But the third thing that will bowtie this— and AI cannot do this. Yeah, you can try to troubleshoot AI, but it doesn't have context of your situation. It doesn't have to customize journey. It doesn't, it doesn't know what's actually going on. You don't get to talk to a real person or chat to a real person. It doesn't really support you, and it doesn't allow you to diagnose where the problem is or where you turn wrong. So that's why support on a blue line is going to give you a competitive advantage. But it's not enough for someone to say, oh, okay, here's $3,000, take my money, when they can still get more than enough support from AI. And it's only a couple hundred dollars a year for subscription. And so what else do we need that's going to allow your students is you need accountability. When I say accountability, I don't mean like a nagging mother-in-law, and I feel for you if you have a nagging mother-in-law. What I mean by this is two things. Number 1, holding people to a high standard, but the other thing is making sure that they don't revert back to their current habits. So I'll give you an example. In my old home, there was this road at the end of the road where 99.9% of the time I always had to turn left. Why? Because my kids' schools was left, the gym was left, the shopping center was left, the city was left, my in-laws' house was left. It was left, left, left, left, left. And there was once in a while where I would go to this other suburb called Chatswood, and I had to turn right at the end of the road. Now, I would put in Google Maps on where there was, and the map told me to turn right at the end of the road. And I even had support. Sometimes I even have my kids in the car, or have my wife Penny in the car, and she said, remember to turn right, remember to turn right, the map's telling me to turn right. Had the support. But guess what happens? Every single time I turn left. Now I turn left, now I have to do a U-turn or go around the roundabout, go back, and we lose a couple of minutes. And it's like super frustrating. Why? Because I'm a creature of habit, because I normally, I just habitually always turning left regardless of a map, regardless of support, I continually turn left. And so we need accountability to hold us to a higher standard, to break the habits that we've been doing. I'll give you an example. So if you're just starting out from scratch right now, you may be trying webinars, or you may be trying a vehicle that's not suitable for where you are at the beginning stages, especially you don't have a brand, you don't have it, you don't have any following, and you don't have any experience. And the problem— nothing against webinars, I run webinars, they work extremely well. I know a lot of friends that run webinars. Russell Brunson runs webinars. And do they work? 100%. But you need to run it at the right time with the right skill set. Now the problem running webinars is if you've got 10 people in a room, 100 people, 1,000, 2,000, you need to learn how to speak to an audience. And we've all been into a situation where we're either watching a YouTube video or we're in an event or in a webinar and the presenter is so bad that you just want to turn your camera off and you just want to run and you just want to, you just, you want to get out of there. And it's so boring because they haven't learned how to communicate and speak to an audience like this. And we've all been in a situation. You don't want to be that person, which means if you want to run a webinar You got to learn how to speak to an audience. That's skill number 1. And learning that skill takes a lot of repetition, takes a lot of time, takes a lot of personal investment. And it may take you 6, 7, 8, 9 months to learn that skill to run a webinar. That's the first skill. You can't just read off a presentation. That'll be boring as anything. The second skill you need is probably the tech, because running a webinar means— and okay, oh, you can just do it on Zoom, make it basic. But the reality is If you're not using simple tech, then you're going to run a very boring masterclass or webinar. And so then you've got to understand the tech, then you've got to understand the marketing on how to fill it up. What if no one shows up? What if everyone shows up but no one turns on the camera? Or worse yet, what if only one person shows up? Then it's stressful, then it's overwhelming. And then the last thing you need to learn is how do I sell one-to-many? How do I position an offer one-to-many? And so now you've got 3 or 4 or 5 skills just to make a webinar work, and you don't have the skills when you're starting out. And so maybe you've been trained that I need to run a webinar when I'm starting out, but no one's told you it's so hard to do that when you're starting out because you don't have the skills. And then you jump into someone else's program, or maybe our program, and we teach you this thing called tiny challenges, right? So this is basically— I won't go into details on what this is, but it's a one-on-one challenge. It's you, one other person It's simple when you're starting out. You don't have to have a big launch, you don't have to have lists, you don't have to worry about, should I do it on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, what time? Because it's one-on-one, the time always works. You don't have to worry about speaking, you don't have to worry about the tech. It's a super easy way to get started, especially when you don't have any experience. And so people would jump in our program, they'd be like, oh, Richmond Dinh, I've been trying this webinar thing, I've been trying this webinar thing, I've been trying this webinar thing, and then that's their turning left, turning left. And we say No, we've got to stop that. Let's try a brand new vehicle, one-on-one tiny challenge. And they're like, okay, cool, cool, cool. And then, then it says, I'm the GPS. I say turn left. I'm the support. I say turn left. And what do they do? They turn right at the end of the road. And it's like, what are you doing? Because I need to be there to help break the habits. Because people have habits. You need accountability to break the habits. You may be in another program. Now, how many of you have had a cold DM in the last 7 days? Everyone here watching, I would almost bet that you had a cold DM in the last 7 days. Now it's super frustrating, it's icky, you just want to block them, but it's not their fault that they're sending you a cold DM because they probably spent a couple of thousand dollars on a course that told them to cold DM people, and they've been taught that it's a numbers game, not a trust game. Write this down: it's a trust game, not a numbers game. And so then people come into our world and they're still cold DMing. We're like, no, stop cold DMing, it doesn't work like that. You need to build trust up front. Front. And so we need to break the habits of cold DMing. We need to break the habits of being attracted to webinars when that doesn't work for the early stage coach. And so then holding accountability to break habits, that's important. AI cannot break habits, but people can through accountability. The other reason why you need accountability is this. Now, I've been going to the gym for 26 years, 27 years consistently since I was 17. I am 43 now, and I know how to work out. I know how to go to gym. I've been doing consistently 2 to 3 days a week every week for the last 26 years, and I still get a personal trainer once a week out of one of the 3 sessions that I go. Why? It's not because I don't know how to not train or stay fit, but because every time I have my personal trainer— if in case I'm doing leg day, rather than doing 10 squats, guess what happens? I would do 15, sometimes 20. Because when you're held accountable to a high standard, you always do more. Every time I'm with my personal trainer, I always do more. But the second thing that happens when I'm with him is that I do the reps better, meaning he gets me to go lower and slower and then push, and I go full range, whereas without him I don't go full range or as full range as I think I am. And so not only is the form better, but you do more reps. And so when you do more and you do better, you get faster results, you progress better, and you get the outcome in a shorter amount of time with more certainty of success. And so when you have accountability, you break your client's habits, but more importantly, you hold them to a high standard so they do more, they do better, and they get there faster with a greater chance of success. And so when you have these 3 things in your coaching offer, you will crush because AI cannot replace this because everybody ultimately is using a vehicle to get more certainty of success. And the reason why they're using AI, because AI gives them more certainty than a beginner coach. But if you're a beginner and you offer these 3 things together, you will give your ideal clients more certainty of success than what AI can do, and then you are going to win. But there's one final thing that will allow your clients to pay more and pay for longer and stay for longer is this. So I would highly recommend you do all of this. And when you're starting out, you're probably going to sell one-on-one coaching, which is fine. Once you get your first 5 clients— I've got a video on my channel on how to get your first 5 clients without posting any content, and you can get that done within the next 7 days. It is killer. You should watch that video. Now, once you get your first 5 clients and they're one-on-one, at some point you want to put them in a group. You want to have a community. So you get your first 5 clients You want to have a community. Why? Because people will come and buy you for the result that you're offering, but they'll stay for community. So your job is to get your first 5 clients fast so that you can put them in a group, create a community, and then they'll stay for community. Because with the world of AI, where information has become readily available for super cheap, super fast, super easy, and it's convenient— because we're human beings, we're still looking for a place to belong, we're still looking for a place to be seen, we're still looking for a place to We're still looking for family. And so now people are lonelier than ever before, and they're looking for family. And if you can start to provide some family and a reason for people to belong, they're going to want to stay with you for a very, very long time. And the more AI is starting to outcoach beginner coaches that don't have this model, the more lonely people are going to feel, and so the more reason for them to want to join. Because of a community. Now I've got this prompt and it is crazy good on how to create your coaching offer with this framework. I won't read out the prompt, I'm just going to drop in a description here. And in short, the prompt is act as the world's best content creator slash coach slash whatever the case may be. And in this offer here, make sure we put a step-by-step map like the blue line on Google Maps on what the support looks like on the map, and how do we hold them accountable, what that looks like, so that they can get certain to success. You will just need to enter your niche, your I help statement, and that's really all you need to do. And it may ask you a few questions, and boom, within a couple of minutes you have an offer that AI cannot replace. And then what you can add to that prompt is, what would a community look like? How do I position myself so that AI cannot replace it? Because right now there's no community when someone's getting coached by AI. It's a very lonely process for your prospects when they're getting coached by AI, and eventually they're going to want a place to belong in. And so that prompt there, I'll drop in the description section there. Use it, it's crazy good. It's going to allow you to get clients faster. And, and when you offer your offer to your clients, offer it in this way. This is how you position it. So when someone says, so tell me about your offer, so say for example you're you do a 5-day one-on-one tiny challenge, right? And on my channel, I'll show you how to do that anyway, so you can search it up. Now, you do a 5-day one-on-one tiny challenge. At the end, you present an offer. You're like, okay, tell me more about what it looks like to work with you. And like, I'm glad you asked. Or maybe you maybe ask permission. Hey, just to keep the momentum going, would it be okay if I share with you what it looks like to work with us? And you're like, great, cool, tell me more. Okay, great. So in order for you to get to $100,000 in the next 12 months, there's 3 things that you're going to need. Actually, 4. The first thing you're going to need is you're going to need a map to get there step by step by step to get there. But more importantly, because I've walked through the map and I've walked several coaches or several— like, if you don't have testimonials, you're the testimonial. But, and I've walked hundreds of and thousands of coaches get through this, I know where the pit stops are, I know where the potholes are, I know where the traffic lights are, I know where the red light cameras are, I know where all those things are. So you don't get caught out. So we have a map and we have the nuances in the map. The second thing we need is support on the map in case you turn off the wrong road, so you always get rerouted with brand new maps. So first of all, how's that sounding to you? That sounds amazing. Great. Where to from here? Tell me more. Great. Then we have accountability to break your habits, because right now you're doing these 3 things that are not serving you. We need to break the habit, hold you to a high standard, but with accountability also, you're going to do more You're gonna do better, which means you get there faster. How's that sounding to you? Oh my gosh, this sounds amazing. And finally, we have a very tight-knit community for you to belong to because we know it's lonely, the journey to success. You are who you spend time with. But more importantly, it's a place where you can share your dreams without being judged. How's that sounding to you? Sounds amazing. Where to from here? What's the investment? $3,000 for the next 6 months. How does that sound to you? Sounds amazing, I'm in. See how easy it is? That's how I would position an offer in this framework. And the prompt that I've given you that I'll drop in the description will give that to you right away. So I'll end with this: AI is kind of like a map, but it's a very loose map. Coaching is like the guide who walks with you, because information informs but experience transforms. Keep believing, never settle.
