Your First Client Starts Here..

Richmond Dinh's 5-Day First Kiss Challenge teaches beginner coaches that the real barrier to landing their first client isn't marketing or positioning, but releasing their old professional identity. After 15 years as an optometrist, Dinh learned that creating psychological space for a new identity lets opportunity fill the void.

So I just took a small cohort of beginner coaches to help them get their first paying client on my 5-Day First Kiss Challenge, and the results were amazing. But I realized the biggest challenge for a beginner coach is not figuring out their niche, it's not their offer, it's not a marketing plan. It's actually letting go of years or decades of all they knew. When I started out, I was an optometrist and I'd been in the industry for 15 years, 5 years in uni, 10 years as an optometrist. And the hardest thing for me was letting go of a career that I was exceptional at, but it was all I knew. It was safe. It was secure, it was comfortable. And many of our students here, although they've got the skillset and they know that's what they wanna do, but they're leaving 10 years of corporate or 20 years of HR or 20 years of leadership or management. And that's very hard because there's grief involved with that and there's gravity involved letting go of what is safe and comfortable, even though it's not fulfilling. And so throughout the event, this is what I did to help them. And this may help you. In life, we cannot step into a place where we don't create space for. And so that identity that you have, the one that I had, as 10 years as an optometrist, it served me to a certain point and it got me to where I wanted to go, and that was great. Now that cup is full, and the only way for me to step out of that is to let some of that go to allow space for future me to step in. And so if you're looking to transition, know this, that the moment you create space for that, you will fill it up. And you just have to trust that the world does not like vacuums, because every single time you create space, it will get filled up with the thing that you wanted to fill up. But you have to create space first, and that's the scary part. So essentially what we did over the 5 days. We created space for them so their future self could step into. That's how you get first paying client.
