In the inaugural episode of the Stand Sure Coaching podcast, host Rob Anderson introduces himself, his extensive coaching background dating back to 1999, and a wide array of certifications—including CliftonStrengths, Intrinsic Motivational Systems, Emergenetics, Crucial Conversations, QPR Gatekeeper, trauma and veteran transition coaching, and Ramsey Solutions financial coaching. He explains his current pursuit of ICF accreditation as a step toward sharpening his practice and expanding opportunities. Anderson outlines the mission of Stand Sure Coaching: to support veterans, men in transition, and anyone carrying burdens that exceed their capacity. He clarifies that coaching is distinct from counseling, therapy, advice, or mentorship, emphasizing a professional relationship built on deep listening, powerful questioning, and accountability. The services offered include one‑on‑one private coaching, group coaching (especially for men), live webinars, short‑form classes, transition and resilience packages, financial stability coaching, and occasional experiential retreats. The podcast itself is positioned as a concise, no‑fluff series delivering actionable insights each episode. Listeners are invited to visit stansurecoaching.com for a free, no‑pressure one‑on‑one session, share the podcast, or support Anderson’s ICF journey.

Hey, welcome to the very first podcast for Stand Sure Coaching. Hey, I'm Rob Anderson, and I want to start out by saying how excited I am that you are here. If you followed my work through Neptune Warrior or listened to the One Dive at a Time podcast, you already know my heart is in helping people navigate hard seasons, especially veterans. Men in transition, as well as folks carrying more than they were ever meant to carry. And this show, I want to make sure everybody understands, this is not any kind of a departure from that work. In fact, I'm still highly vested in that work. It's really an expansion. So a little bit about me. I've been coaching since 1999. And you know, that is, it's a couple of decades of walking people through some of the hardest and most transformative I think what I bring is experience, the ability to relate, and a whole toolbox of methods and models to do the work that I do. Just a real quick look at some of the tools and certifications I use in coaching already. I'm a certified CliftonStrengths coach. I'm certified in intrinsic motivational systems. I'm a trained Emergenetics associate. I'm certified in Crucial Conversations, multiple sales coaching models. I'm a certified life coach. I'm a certified QPR Gatekeeper instructor for suicide prevention. And then I'm also certified in life coaching, trauma coaching, veteran transition coaching, as well as being a Ramsey Solutions financial coach where I'm helping people get out of debt, take control of their money, and create a future that doesn't include financial chaos. Right now, I'm working on something that's even more foundational. I'm working on my ICF accreditation through the International Coaching Federation, which is the gold standard for professional coaches. And this is a deeply meaningful step for me because I believe in always sharpening the tools that I use to help people get unstuck, really to help them get unstuck, help them grow and rebuild. Also, even though I've been coaching for a long time, and I've already got established clients, having that ICF accreditation really opens— it really opens other doors for me. So if you found value in my work, I'd love for you to support this leg of the journey. And right now, that can be done by sharing this podcast, referring it to someone who might need coaching, Or simply cheer me on as I level up my credentials. Now, I do want to talk about what coaching is and what this show is about. So coaching is not counseling. I am not a counselor. Coaching isn't advice. It's not therapy. And it's not mentorship. It's a professional relationship built on listening deeply, asking the right questions, and helping You clarify your next move. And it's done with honesty, purpose, and accountability. Through Stand Sure Coaching, what I offer is one-on-one private coaching, group coaching. Specifically, I offer group coaching and one-on-one coaching for men. I also have live webinars and short-form classes. I do coaching packages around transition, resilience, and financial stability. And every now and then for fun, we do some retreats. And we go out and we build out some real-world experiential coaching programs. This podcast is designed to reflect the kind of focused, intentional growth coaching brings. Each episode, I'm going to keep it pretty short. Not like I've done with my other podcasts. And I want to do it because I want to make sure that it's targeted and meant to give you something powerful to reflect on, to apply, and maybe even to share. No fluff, no filler, just something real and useful. And if what I say today or on any episode hits home, I would love for you to take that next step and let's work through that as a partnership. I am going to ask you to visit stanshurecoaching.com and sign up for a free one-on-one session. There's no pressure, no pitch. It's just a conversation. And just see if there is an opportunity for us to walk together and maybe if you need it, help you find your footing again. Thanks for showing up here on the podcast with me. And thank you for letting me be part of your journey. Let's just keep moving forward. Can't wait to get other podcasts out. And let's just keep doing this one step at a time. Until next time, stand sure.
