So whether you've been thinking about working with a coach for the very first time, or if you're looking to just reignite that momentum, this Is an awesome time to step in. So let's talk about why coaching and why should— why you should even invest at all. Coaching is not counseling. Coaching is not therapy. Coaching is forward-focused. It's about growth. It's about action. It's taking a look at what's possible. When people come to coaching, they, they do it for all kinds of reasons— career changes, confidence issues, relationship patterns, leadership development, burnout, or even that quiet voice inside that says, there is more and there is more in me. And what coaching does to help you. You know, when I work with clients, we work on things like clarifying goals. Actually, we go in and working together identify those goals, but then getting down and really clarifying what they are. I work with clients Who are challenging beliefs that limit them, getting into action, and then staying aligned with what really matters most. A lot of times, you know, we have our set of values, but when we look at what we're doing in life or where we are, we have fallen away from those values. And sometimes we just forget what those values are. Coaching isn't advice. I'm not going to give you answers. What I will do though is I'm going to build a partnership that draws out your best thinking and you get to find your strongest self. And so let's get real for just a second here. Coaching versus counseling. Again, like I said, I'm not a counselor. I'm not a therapist. And I get asked a lot, what is the difference between coaching and counseling? And I also get asked, why do I believe that in a lot of cases coaching is preferred? You see, counseling tends to look backward. If you think about wounds, scabs, and scars, Wounds are those things that, I mean, they hurt. They're fresh. Scabs are, if we pick at something enough, it's going to open that wound back up. But scars are different. Scars are stories. Scars are something that you can, you know, that you can talk about. You can walk through. And it's not representing trauma. And I think that's why this works so well for veterans with PTSD. Whereas in counseling and therapy, they want you to go back into that wound. And with coaching, you're moving forward. Counseling is essential work, and I deeply respect it. But what I do in coaching is we're going to pick up When you're ready to move forward. It's for that person that realizes that they're not broken, they're just stuck, and they need clarity, they need a plan, they need accountability. Coaching assumes you are whole and capable right now. Right now. You might be in transition and you might be overwhelmed, but you're not broken. And through coaching, you're going to gain tools to reclaim control, build resilience, and take meaningful steps towards your ideal future. That's why coaching often feels energizing. I know that when I do my, my counseling appointments, You know, when I go see my counselor at the VA, man, I'm just drained because I've had to go back into that wound. I've had to go back into that trauma. Whereas when I meet with my coach— and yes, I have my own coach— when I go to my coach, man, it's energizing. When I talk to my clients, they're energized because it's more about who you're becoming, not just what you've been through. So why does August matter? I just wanted to reach out to family and friends and listeners and followers who haven't tried it, or they're at a point they need to reenergize. Maybe you've had a coach before. If what I've been talking about sounds like what you've been needing, that push, that guide, a mirror, That thought partner, then this special is for you. Again, it's 3 sessions.
