$1 Trillion of Government Wasted Spending 😲

In this monologue, Rob Moore argues that governments waste roughly a trillion dollars annually, citing examples from the UK and US, and calls for the kind of open‑source, company‑style auditing currently being championed by Elon Musk and Donald Trump on the platform X. He critiques the lack of accountability in public spending, contrasts the idea of giving a trillion to Musk versus to Labour, and proposes drastic cuts to bureaucracy, public‑sector size, and regulations to save hundreds of billions. Moore then pivots to promote his own Moneymaker Summit, positioning it as a venue to teach personal finance, tax reduction, wealth‑building strategies, gold/silver and crypto investing, and how to protect oneself from debanking. He provides details on ticket tiers, speaker line‑up, and the event’s anniversary celebrations, urging viewers to register at robmoore.live/money and to support greater financial transparency and personal sovereignty.

$1 trillion of government wasted spending. Not a million, not a billion, a trillion. So Elon Musk has come in unelected as Trump's government efficiency officer, and he is scything through all of what he believes to be fraud and wastage. Previous very senior politicians earning hundreds of millions when their salary is hundreds of thousands. I spoke to Richard Tice, the, you know, original leader of Reform, and he said that in England, £10 billion was spent on a concrete tunnel to preserve bats. And right now it looks like these decades of non-accountability on government spending is being exposed in America. Nigel Farage is calling for it to be exposed in the UK. And to me, this should be normal. Like a company has audited accounts. I.e., the government impose on a company that a company needs to show its full set of accounts when it gets to a medium size. Yet it doesn't have to show any of its accounts or justify its money. The thing with company money is it's our money. The thing with government money is it's also our money. So why can we not have open-source, transparent, This is where we're spending your money. Because how else is it a democracy? Now, yes, we need a government and we need to elect people who we perceive can manage our money well. But let me ask you this. Would you rather give Elon Musk a trillion of taxpayer money to invest or the UK or America government, previous and current government, to invest? And I say invest, spend, waste. Elon Musk or government? Here's a trillion of our taxpayer money. Let me know in the comments, would you back Elon Musk or Labour in the UK? So loads of people are hating on Elon Musk. I think a lot of people who are making the most noise are the people who've been beneficiaries you know, of ridiculous amounts of money that is unaccountable for. There was an MP in the UK that spent £5,000 on a computer, a desktop, 2 iPads, £1,800 on an iPad and a case when an iPad's a few hundred quid. Like, there's no accountability and these guys are just taking the piss. And I think it's great that we're getting more open source transparency on where the government is spending money in America, and I just hope that it cascades through and trickles down into the UK. I think it's really important, and maybe finally we'll stop wasting these hundreds of billions. Now, what a lot of people keep saying, especially on the left, is, oh well, you know, we need more money, um, we need more money, tax, tax, tax, tax, tax. But if we're spending about a trillion a year in the UK, and 200 or 300 billion of that is being wasted. We don't need more money. If you're trying to fill up a bucket with water and there's a massive hole in it, are you just going to pour more water in? Or are you going to fix the fucking hole? So why not stop wasting hundreds of billions, get someone into government who actually cares, who knows how to manage expenses because they've run a proper business, and knows that we need to be solvent, i.e., if we're gonna, um, if we get a trillion, we can only spend 950 billion, and then we, we save 50 billion, you know, and then we can pay the debt down, strengthen the pound, build the nation back. Why don't we get rid of a load of broken services? IR35, GDPR, all these rules and regulations and bureaucracy. Slash it all, get rid of 50% or 70% of the public sector that we're paying for all this shit that we're getting no value on. Remove all the friction, remove all the bureaucracy, save probably, I guess, a couple of hundred billion. Now, the reason I think you could probably save a couple of hundred billion on a trillion is if you went into any company with a ruthless eye, you could save 20% of costs. And you could probably save 20% of costs and not really affect the main business. Elon Musk went in and slashed 80% of the staff in X. And yeah, of course it had short-term consequences, but didn't really affect the business that much. So give me the trillion, show me where we're spending it, and I'll give some feedback on where we can save $200 billion. So I embrace this open source, full transparency of where all the money is really going. And where there's been fraud and where there's been insider trading, you know, where there's been backhanders and everything else, exposing all of that, holding those people to account, and then bringing back democracy. Because democracy isn't just who we vote in, it's also how they spend our money. Like, do I want my money, 20% of my money, do I want it to go into the NHS when my dad was 11 hours in A&E? He's 81. When I can never get an appointment, so I have to pay private, so I have to pay for healthcare twice. Do I want 20% of my tax money going into that? We should have some kind of choice, but we don't. And now thankfully with reform coming in and disrupting and now being top in the polls, and now we have 3 parties maybe and not 2, we can break up this monopoly— Labour-Conservative monopoly— just like the monopoly's being broken up in America. And I just think this is all really good. Now, of course, it's going to have downsides and no one is perfect, but we deserve transparency. We deserve choice because there is no such thing as government money. There is only taxpayer money and your money. And it's for this reason, with everything going on in the world, that at the Moneymaker Summit, we now do as much content on managing your own money well and getting your tax bill down as much as starting a business and making money. So before lockdown, my events would all be on the upside, making money, you know, chasing your dream life, quitting the job you don't enjoy, hitting that target income figure, chasing freedom, you know, having a great business model that is low cost, high speed, low overhead, low staff, low friction, low stock, And about 50% of the content of Moneymaker Summit is still that, because that's still achievable, just about. But now we've got how to invest in gold and silver, how to decentralize and protect yourself from being debanked and having, um, proper security and discretion and choice of where your money goes. You can't pay really money into Bitcoin anymore. You can't really take cash in or put— take cash out or put cash in anymore. Um, it's ridiculous. And then getting your tax bill down, which is your biggest expense by a country mile that they are wasting. So if you'd like to learn how to start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money, build multiple streams of recurring income, but you'd also like to get your tax bill down, manage your money very well, better than the government, and be decentralized and protected and secure and safe, I recommend you come and join us at the Moneymaker Summit. So the link is robmoore.live/money because most of your Your biggest expense now is not your mortgage. It's not even your divorce. At least that's only half. It is your tax. And so, you know, we have not until now known where our tax money is going. And now Elon Musk and Donald Trump are ripping that open using X and Doge as a way to give us more transparency on where our tax money is going. And I'm not saying they're perfect people, but I'm saying I support that as a concept. And I think we need to do that in the UK. We need to do it bloody quick. Because we don't need to pay more tax. We need to stop wasting money. Um, because I reckon— I'm gonna, I'm gonna guess there's at least $200 billion of wasted money. So if you want to stop your money going down, if you want to get your tax bill down, if you want to grow your wealth, um, if you want to learn how to invest, protect your money, the right— the best business models for 2025 for income and growth, go to robmoore.live. Money. Natasha said Moneymaker Summit is one of the best events to attend in 2025. Really appreciate you, Natasha. And let me know what you think about Doge and Elon Musk. Did you see him next to Trump first time in, in the White House answering the press, talking about, um, you know, how he's exposing all of the costs and the wastage and what he says is fraud? So, look, I talk a lot about what's going on in the world with money, but really the best thing you can do is sort your own finances out, build personal wealth, freedom, autonomy, sovereignty, agency. Because at the end of the day, the thing that gives the most freedom is money. Because if you want to do what you want, where you want, when you want, with who you want, that costs a lot of money. That's expensive to do. And that's why I have this Moneymaker Summit to help you do this. I've been doing this for 18-odd years. And I want to pass all that knowledge on to you. So I'll see you at robmoore.live/money. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
