In this YouTube monologue, entrepreneur Rob Moore warns that recent UK tax increases—national insurance, pension contributions, corporation tax, income tax, and VAT—are dramatically raising business costs. He illustrates the impact with a personal example: his medium‑sized company now faces an extra £125,000 per year in tax, which translates to needing an additional £750,000 in revenue to maintain a 15% net profit margin. Moore argues that the rise in National Insurance is the most damaging, potentially causing higher unemployment and lower productivity. He critiques the political narrative that frames these measures as “taxing the rich,” emphasizing that many UK entrepreneurs are modest‑wealth individuals, not jet‑setting millionaires. While he briefly considers moving his business to Dubai for lower tax rates, he decides to stay and fight the system. To help other business owners, Moore promotes his "Moneymaker Summit," a three‑day event offering practical tax‑saving tactics, education on 12 key tax reliefs, tax investigation insurance, and networking with multi‑millionaire speakers. He offers a limited‑time, subsidized ticket promotion (18 tickets for free, plus discounted VIP packages) via the link robmoore.live/money, positioning the summit as essential for anyone who wants to keep more of their earnings in an increasingly hostile tax environment. The video ends with a call to share the content, a reminder that “if you don’t risk anything, you risk everything,” and an appeal for viewers to invest in financial education to survive and thrive.

$125 grand a year in extra taxes. Warning. So in the UK, the frog is being boiled and taxes are going up and up and up and up. And I've got hard data here for you now. Now I'm going to give you something that's happened to me in my business. Now, bearing in mind, I already pay 20% VAT on everything that I sell, and I sell tens of millions of pounds worth of products. Content. Then I pay 25% corporation tax. That was 19%. That's going up, gone up to 25%. That is millions of pounds. Then we've got 40% income tax. Then we've got 15% national insurance. Then we've got now increased pension contributions. Which the government aren't— they're putting the prices up on us, which essentially is a tax. Now, I want to look after my staff, of course, but still, when the National Insurance rise happened, it essentially cost us just under a grand per staff member. We have 100 staff. And if you think about what is the tax what's going to stunt growth the most? Probably National Insurance. Because what's going to happen is companies aren't going to be able to afford to employ. Unemployment's going to go up. Productivity is going to go down. And that's exactly what they did just so that they could, you know, the usual politics of envy of taxing the productive. We shouldn't call it taxing the rich because most millionaires in the UK aren't that rich. They drive a Toyota, their house has gone up in value over time, and probably most of their net worth is stuck in their house. And they've just been smart with money and saved a bit. They're not raging hundred millionaires in private jets like the propaganda from Labour or the kind of broke mindset might believe. So National Insurance and then the increase in pension contributions has cost me £125,000 a year in extra tax, which let's say a medium-sized company, you know, I've got companies that get into the medium-sized bracket. Um, so let's say the net profit is 15%. That's quite normal. So you have to make £125,000 times 6. What's that? £750,000. Then you add inflation on, then you add all the extra regulation and time that it takes. You're probably talking best part of a million quid. I have to make extra in my business just to cover the increase in National Insurance and pension contributions. And that's just the start. And then there's the 25% corporation tax. Now, some people are going to say, oh, cry me a river. In fact, someone in my family said to me over dinner, that's fine, Rob, because you can afford it. Well, who's employing the staff? The entrepreneurs, the business owners. Who's generating all the VAT? The sellers, the entrepreneurs, the business owners. Who's paying all the corporation tax? The business owners. Who's contributing 4% to the pensions? The business owners. And yet they're being exiled, ostracised, vilified, sodomised, It's ridiculous. It is ridiculous. And it's— that's real, by the way. Now, what am I going to do about it? Am I going to move to Dubai where it's 5% corporation, 5% VAT and 9% corporation tax? Am I going to move to Dubai and take all my business and all my staff and all my offices there? Well, I'd have every right to, but at the moment I'm going to stick it out and fight. And it's for this reason that I've added a very detailed section on getting your tax bill down onto the Moneymaker Summit. So the Moneymaker Summit is a special event that I run that helps you start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money and build multiple streams of recurring income. The problem though with that is that the more money you make now, if you don't get your tax bill down, if you don't know what to offset, what you can claim, what tax reliefs there are, there are about 12 main tax reliefs. You need to learn them all because if you don't use and leverage those, then all that happens is you earn more and you end up giving most of it away. So because of this, I've added a very detailed specific section on how to save tens of thousands when you're starting up and millions as you scale up in tax. I'm happy to share the strategies I've used to save millions in tax, which I run past my accountant and I have tax investigation insurance on and I learned through having really good contacts. So if you'd like to leverage me and learn these tax saving tactics to not just make money, but keep your money, because your biggest expense is tax, it's more than your mortgage. At least a divorce only costs you half. If you'd like to learn all this stuff, I recommend you come to the Moneymaker Summit. Now, this is the last time on my Facebook videos that I'm going to do my progressive birthday anniversary offer. So it's the 18th anniversary of my company. It was in January. And on, on some of my videos, I've been offering some subsidized tickets. This is the last time I'm going to do it here on Facebook. So if you'd like to grab a ticket off of me, I'll pay for everything except you just need to get there. I'll pay for the billionaire keynote speaker at the end of this month. I'll pay for the multi-millionaire speakers. Um, there's two dates, Feb and March. I'll pay for everything. You just need to get there. The link is robmoore.live/money. That's robmoore.live/money. And I'm subsidizing 18 tickets to celebrate the 18th anniversary of my companies, and this will be the last time I, I make this, uh, offer here on the Facebook Lives. You could also on the page if you're not in the first 18 or you want the better tickets, you've got massive anniversary discounts on the gold and VIP ticket, which includes dinner with me and the other multi-millionaires, breakfast, bonus money mindset sessions with me on one day, and I'm the author of the global best-selling book Money, and my business partner on another day. Champagne reception Q&As, book signings, all with the millionaire speakers. So, you know, and by the way, really what's more special is the fact that they've been an entrepreneur for 15 to 20 years each. So it's the experience, not just the money. It's the going through tough times, not just the good times. And we're very open about the mistakes and the failings as well as the successes and how we've navigated them. So you can also get the 15-hour How to Raise Money Online Masterclass course. I can give that as part of the VIP tickets because I've already recorded it online. So you can get all of this at robmoore.live/money. Because now tax is your biggest expense, make no mistake. And there's the silent hidden taxes like inflation, then there's the overt taxes like income tax, which, you know, when you get your payslip, you know what that is because you see most of it gone. Where there's all these stealthy taxes that they name tariffs and levies and insurances, and they give them acronyms when in reality they're all just taxes. And if you don't want to leave and you want to fight it out because, you know, you're committed to this country, then the single most important thing you're going to need to do to not just survive but thrive in these difficult times, these disruptive times, is get your tax bill down. And of course, legally, legitimately, with good advice from good accountants, getting tax investigation insurance, knowing what to offset. I don't talk about schemes, I don't talk about offshores, I don't talk about holding companies and all that stuff. That's, you know, either very technical or somewhat risky. Don't talk about any of that, just practical tactical stuff you can really do. You'll see the full agenda, the speakers, the kind of things you're going to learn, my 5 keynote speeches. You'll see them all on the page robmoore.live/money. I'm on a mission to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge. I'm gonna have to make a million more this year just to net the same amount of money. I mean, it's just wild. It's wild. Labour, Keir Starmer, Rachel Reeves, what are you doing? You need to change this before all the millionaires have gone. And the Toyota-driving ones, not just the Lamborghini-driving ones, you know, the honest small business owner ones. The small business is 55% of the economy. They're all getting driven out. Or by the way, record numbers of businesses are going bust. Record numbers of businesses are in financial distress, but there is a way, but you need to learn to earn. You need to invest in your knowledge, your education, and you're going to need to be more, more smart and more streetwise. So thanks for tuning in. Hope you're enjoying my content. Make sure you share the content if you wouldn't mind, because I'm just out of a ban, so that's been difficult. And remember this: if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. I'm risking on you. I'm subsidising your entire ticket or massive discounts on the VIP tickets to basically commit to giving you 3 days of my time to help open your mind to becoming an entrepreneur, getting better financial education and knowledge, getting your tax bill down, your income streams up, and building personal wealth. Because now more than ever, that's the only solution. Really appreciate you. Um, Gosha said that the VIP ticket's great. She came to the event. There's some great, um, extras and bonuses. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
