19 children and 2 teachers have been shot dead in a Texas school. These children were 7 to 10 years old, and they were shot dead in a massacre by an 18-year-old boy. This is a video I hoped I'd never do. In fact, I had a plan to, um, do some content around how to invest through this cost of living crisis, but that has to be put on ice now. I don't know what I can do. I'm not in America, but we should all use our platform for good. And how can we not speak out and plead for help when we wake up to the news that 19 children and 2 of their teachers have been shot dead in a primary school? In a primary school. Like, there are many injustices in the world, but surely Innocent primary school teachers being murdered. Surely that is one of the greatest injustices of the world. And the sad thing is that we can do something about it. So Gilbert has just said, where are the gun laws in the US? This, this is the point. So Biden, President Joe Biden, did a press conference and he said, when in God's name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby? Let me say what he said again. He said, when in God's name are we going to stand up against the gun lobby? Now, the gun lobby, in case you don't knowâ I mean, you don't really need this explaining. I think we all know that America is probably one of the worst countries in the world for school shootings, if not the worst. Now, Kamush has asked, what's the reason? I don't know yet. And you know, that 18-year-old person must have been really troubled, and he must have had a really hard upbringing. So I'm going to reserve judgment. It's as much a cultural, um, issue as it is an individual issue, I believe. But do you know there have been 900 cases in America of school gun shootings? 900 cases. So the gun lobby is a group of people who argue for the right of members of the public to be able to own guns. But how, how can the right to own a gun of the public be justified anymore? How can it be? And if they hadn't woken up to the 900 other shootings in schools of innocent kidsâ Martin has just said, is there ever a reason to kill 19 kids? I don't think there are, but I don't know the, the boy or the, the family or, or the environment, so I can't judge. But imagine the pain that that person must have been in. And imagine even worse the pain of all the parents and the teachers in the school. And imagine the pain if your child was killed at school by someone who had a gun. And itâ itâ how can an 18-year-old have a gun? I would ask you to share this video. I'm not going to ask for anything. I would just ask that you share this video. I don't know what I can do. Clearly, the gun lobbyists are not going to listen to Rob Moore. Clearly, even the president doesn't have as much power as they should. Why do presidents and prime ministers have powers to veto? So, for example, in Canada, the president was able to pass a law to access your bank account and freeze your money if you were part of the trucking, um, protests. Yet the US Prime Minister doesn't seem to be able to stop gun culture and ban the public from having guns. This doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe I'm naive to the laws and the culture in America, but it doesn't make any sense to me. So Jennifer said a lot of Americans own guns, even more so now to protect themselves against their corrupt government. But I don't think anyone in government comes into your house to try and shoot you. So I, you know, the government I think have other ways of controlling you. Never heard of anyone in government going and shooting the public. So I don't agree. I don't buy the fact that an American needs a gun. I don't buy it. Many other countries don't have this gun lobby. And why always schools? Exactly, Nikki. Why the innocent, the pure, the naive, and the defenseless? Why them? I ask on my podcast Disruptors at the end of every episode with my guests, what one thing in the world is wrong that you would love to change? I would love for innocent kids not to get killed in These things can be prevented. Look, natural disasters probably can't be prevented. Maybe every 100 years there's going to be a war, I don't know. But the public owning a gun and people going into schools and shooting innocent kids, this can be prevented. Surely this can be prevented. Exactly right, my friend in the comments. An 18-year-old should never be able to get hold of a gun. No way. And you know, you could say, oh, well, there needs to be more security in schools, blah blah blah. No, there needs to be no guns. Like, in some Eastern countries, you get the death penalty for, you know, drugs. It's over a certain amount of Possession of drugs, you can get the death penalty. Yet you can own a gun legally in America. I don't know what else to say. All I'm gonna say is I would hope that you would share this video. I would hope that it would reach some people. I'm not from America, but it seems to me that we must all speak up about this. Joe Biden, the President of America, has said, "When in God's name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby?" Even the President of America doesn't even seem to be able to stop Americans owning a gun. The gun lobby, a group of people who argue for the right of members of the public to be able to own guns. The public should not own guns. We're not evenâ I meanâ We can't even own a social media platform or a phone responsibly. How can we own a gun? How can we own a gun? Rob Moore said it's part of the Second Amendment, right? It's part of their Constitution, the right to keep and bear arms. I personally don't agree with it. I do not agree with it. These 19 kids may not have been murdered in a school. It doesn't make any sense. You know, this This right isn't in other countries. So if you're just tuning in and you've just woken up, um, or you haven't yet heard the news, 21 people, including 19 children between the ages of 7 and 10, have been murdered, shot dead in a school in Texas. I don't even know what to say. Mark has said, don't be pathetic. I'd love to know what, um, you actually mean by that, Mark. Um, and I think that we should all speak up about it. You know, people say to me I should use my social media platforms for good. I'm doing my best to do that, to speak out on wars and lockdowns and now gun massacres. Probably not going to be able to do anything myself, but we should at least try. You should at least share this. 900 shootings in schools in America. I don't even know what to say. But if there was one thing in this world that I could change, it would be that innocent children don't get murdered. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Please hit the share button. Um, And let's be grateful today. Let's be grateful that we still have our children. I'm going to be giving my children a much bigger hug when they come back from school. Thanks, Mark, for clarifying you were talking to someone else. I'm going to go to my board meeting and be grateful. I'm going to be grateful. I'm grateful for you. I'm grateful for those that share. I'm grateful for those that tune in. I'm grateful for the critics. I'm grateful because today our children didn't get murdered in a school. But 19 parents and families have been ruined because their children did, and it doesn't make any sense to me. Does not make any sense. For what it's worth, I stand against the gun lobby. I do not believe the public should have the right to own a gun. Now, of course, we have to have a good government and we have to feel safe and free and secure. I understand that. I understand that these laws go back many years. And they'll be more complicated. I understand that as well. But I believe we should fight to fix all those issues of education and culture beneath what drives people to believe that the public need a gun, because I do not believe that the public should own a gun. They're my thoughts. I would love your thoughts. Please share them in the comments, and please share this video. And let's be grateful today. Thanks for tuning in. I'm very grateful to you. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
