3 Urgent Warnings About Your Money ⛔️

In this video Rob Moore delivers three urgent warnings about personal finances. First, he argues that bank deposits are unsafe because of fractional‑reserve banking, historical bank runs, and the possibility that governments cannot guarantee deposits in crises. Second, he claims that the real purchasing power of cash has been eroding far faster than official inflation figures suggest, citing the post‑COVID cost‑of‑living surge and stating that money’s value is at its lowest since World War II. Third, he frames cash savings as a liability rather than an asset, explaining that banks profit from holding deposits while offering little or no interest. Moore then advises viewers to keep only minimal cash for day‑to‑day needs, and to use bank financing to acquire appreciating assets such as property, gold, and Bitcoin. Throughout, he promotes his membership platform rob.team, describing its low‑cost (≈£0.20 per day) access to masterclasses, live sessions, and networking opportunities aimed at teaching people how to make, manage, and multiply money.

3 urgent warnings about you and your money. I'll keep this short, sharp, but this is really important, so mark these 3 urgent warnings about your money. So number 1 is that your money is not safe in the banks. It is not backed by the government. Number 2 is that your money is currently going down at an alarming rate, much more than you think it is. And number 3 is that your money and cash savings are not an asset, they're a liability. The banks know it, and you have to play the banks at their own game. So let me just detail each one, and then I'll give you a couple of solutions. So why is the money that you have in the banks not safe? Number 1 is if there's a bank run, the banks will take your money. If there's a financial revolution, the banks will take your money. If the banks have a need to hold on to any kind of money, they will choose money over you. They will. It happened in 2008. If you go back through history, it happens. So the banks don't have most of your money in the bank. Fractional reserve banking allows banks to leave 10% of deposits of money in money, and it allows them to invest, lend 90% of the deposits that you, we the people, put in the bank. So they don't even have your money in the bank. $1 out of every 10 and £1 out of every 10 the banks currently have in the bank. So if we all went to the bank and wanted 2 of our £10 back, they're short. They can't give you your money. And when they run out of money, they are illiquid, they are insolvent, and goodbye banks. Ah, but then the government will probably bail them out. Didn't bail us all out in lockdown. So people say, yeah, but the, the government, they guarantee up to £85,000. Do you think there's— if there's a financial revolution, do you think if there's a war, do you think there is some revolution against the current government, um, do you think the first thing they're going to think is, oh, we better pay Rob Moore's £85,000 back now that the, um, the entire government have been mass murdered or held hostage, and the people have overthrown. I mean, this happened in Mexico, didn't it? The blooming mayor got assassinated. And in Japan, 5 banks shut the doors and just took the money of all the depositors. This stuff is not Orwellian. This is not for doomsday. This is— this happens If you were 400 years old, you'd have seen this happen 7 times. You'd be like, yeah, Rob, I remember that. 1922, 1876, 1742, 2025. Because look, most of the time, 99% of the time, your, your money is safe, your cash is safe, you can trust the banks. But the 1% of time you can't, because they're insolvent, illiquid, there's war, there's revolution, there's act of nature, there's act of terror, then if all your money— if that's you and all your money's in the bank, you could be the unlucky one. You don't want to be the unlucky one. Now the thing is, right now we're at that stage in the cycle where we're closer to a revolution, we're closer to a Third World War, we're closer to financial revolution, an economic crash, a house price crash. So that's warning number one, is that your money is not safe in the banks. It's just— or at least it's nowhere near as safe as it was. And you can't trust that the government will guarantee your money. The government in the UK are 2.2 trillion in debt. Apparently America are hundreds of trillions in debt according to Robert Kiyosaki. So where are they going to get your money from? How are they going to guarantee your money? They haven't got any. Okay, the second thing, the big warning about your money is it's going down in value at a surprisingly alarming rate. Now let me ask you this, since lockdown 2020 So call that 2 and a half years. What do you reckon your money has gone down by? Like, in total, calculating inflation and the soaring cost of living crisis and food and fuel and energy and gas and everything, what do you reckon your actual spending power has gone down by? Let me know in the comments what you think. I'm not gonna say— I've said it before on a live— I think it's way more than you think it is. It's definitely not 2% a year, it's definitely not 5% a year. I think it's more. So because of all this shitstorm, perfect shitstorm of all these things that have happened— Brexit, lockdown, COVID pandemic, the £500 billion that the government spent on all of these, um, You know, force majeure events. Because of all this, there are so many different factors, um, so it's affecting the spending power of your money. Do you know your spending power of your money is the lowest it's been since the Second World War? Now that's pretty freaking scary times. So it's the second warning about your money. Adam has said there's finally a positive of being skinned. They can't have any of it. Okay, Mike reckons that our money's gone down 35% since March 2020. Sean Paul reckons it's about 20%. Mark Brewster thinks it's about 15%. Keep your comments coming. I reckon about 30%. I reckon over 10% a year. Telling me that your cost of living's only gone up 10% a year? Nah. Okay, and even if it is only 5% a year, still 15% in 3 years, and compounding, it's a little bit more than 15% in 3 years. So it's not going up, it's going down. Alright, then the third alarming thing about your money is it's not an asset. Savings are not an asset. Oh, you're taught to save money, save money, save the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves. Put your money in a savings account, it will grow in, it will grow like a money tree. This is what you were taught by the banks and your parents and the school system. No, savings are not an asset. Your money is not an asset. Your money is a liability. So here's what the banks know. That money is a liability. So here's what the banks do. The banks go, come to Daddy, give me your money, we won't give you any interest, give me your money, we won't guarantee much of it, give me your money, when you give it to us it's actually now ours, give me your money. And you foolishly give them all of your money. Like, if the bank shut today, what would you do for the next year? So you've given them all your money, they're giving you no interest, Um, but they're then taking this cash and they're lending it and investing it. $10 on the dollar, £10 on the pound. Fractional reserve banking. They know that cash is a liability, that it goes down at the rate of inflation and the cost of capital. See, with money, you've got inflation wiping it down, relative cost of living going up wiping it down, but then you've got opportunity cost of capital of not being able to put it elsewhere. So the banks know this. They take your money, which is a depreciating liability, and they go, 'Oh, depreciating liability, we better get that off the balance sheet.' And they go, 'Oh, but we need to protect the cost of capital, opportunity cost, and so then we need to put it in an asset and get it working for us.' So they take your money that they give no interest and no guarantee on, and then they go and lend and invest it out, and they make money on it, and they don't give you any of it. And you're complicit. Fuck! Come on, wake up, people! Like if I said to you, give me 100 grand, I'll pay you nothing, I'll guarantee you nothing, but I'm gonna go and lend it out and I'm gonna leverage that 100 grand up to a million and I'm gonna turn it into an appreciating asset. I'm gonna put it in property and I'm gonna put it in on bonds and other things and I'm gonna make a load of money on your money. Oh, and by the way, when you want it, fuck off. And this is the banking system. Wake up. So here's what you need to do. You, of course, you need the banks. Like, I know what you need them for— tap the card, buy the shopping at the supermarket, you know, pay the direct debits and the bills. Yeah, look, I'm not saying have no money in the bank, but have minimum money in the bank— your subsistence, your general needs, you know, maybe your monthly living cost, and maybe an extra month or two just to give yourself a bit of a buffer, but no more. No more. You could probably afford to lose 10 grand. Can you afford to lose 100 grand if you've got like 6 figures in cash? Inflation is wiping that out. 5 figures— if you've got 100 grand, that's worth 90 or 85 next year. And Danny said that's only the half of it. Danny, you're absolutely right. I know, I just don't want to get too, um, conspiracy about this. So you need to think, how do the banks think? If banks make all the money, do you know the top 3 earning careers are portfolio management, investment banking, and commodities. So basically, the top 3 highest-paying industries in the world on average are all related to banking and finance. Come on, people, figure it out. So you've got to be like the bank. So what you got to do— the banks want your money. So be like the bank. No, no, you're not having my money. I'll have your money. So you go to the bank, you get a loan, you put it into real estate on property, and now you've got their money and they haven't got your money. And then you earn on their money on your asset and they don't earn on your money. You play the banks completely at their own game. Switcheroo. Sorry, banks, do one. This is what you do, and this is what I've been learning for 16 years. Have Hundreds of properties, 1,250 tenants, make many millions of pounds a year, and much of that is leveraged thanks to bank finance. So you turn— and the next thing is how you use your money. So you've got to get your money out of the bloody banks, fuck off, and you've got to put it into appreciating assets. Appreciating assets like real estate, put some into gold, maybe a bit into Bitcoin. Not investment advice, you've got to look at where you're going to be putting your, um, investments, and you've got to get some good knowledge and research on that. Do you think that inflation is actually higher than they're really telling us, and therefore your money is going down harder in value? And what do you think about my 3 warnings about your money? That it's not safe in the banks or in cash, and that the government won't back it. That it's going down in value at a higher, more alarming rate than they tell us. And that it's not an asset, it's a liability, and you need to play the banks at their own game. And instead of using your cash to give to the banks for them to invest, you need to borrow the bank's money for assets and play the banks at their own game. And then protect your cash from inflation, protect your cash from the government, and get it into assets that beat inflation and produce recurring income.
