3 Ways School is Failing us 😰

In this video Rob Moore argues that the modern school system is outdated and failing students in three critical areas. First, he claims schools have lost clarity on traditional gender roles, leaving young people confused about what it means to be a man or a woman amid a surge of non‑binary discourse. Second, he contends that schools do not teach emotional intelligence – students are not equipped to identify, understand, or manage emotions, which he links to societal violence and personal dysfunction. Third, he asserts that schools omit essential financial literacy, such as money mindset, budgeting, wealth‑building formulas, and the impact of inflation, leaving graduates unprepared for real‑world economics. Throughout, Moore critiques the curriculum’s relevance, references viewer comments, and promotes his own financial‑education platform, Rob.team, as a practical alternative that offers low‑cost, no‑contract courses, mentorship from wealthy entrepreneurs, and free access for children. He urges viewers to join, share, and discuss these shortcomings in the comments, positioning his platform as a solution to the systemic failures he describes.

3 ways that school is failing us. The school system, for the most part, is very out of date. I believe that school is failing us in 3 main ways. Most of us learn most of what we learn in our formative years of life at school. So you could argue that school has a lot to do with where we are in politics, where we are in religion, where we are in greed and power. Now, my question to you is this: did you fail school, or did school fail you? Many of you are probably sending your kids to school, but now more and more, for example, we have people who are homeschooling. The world changes really fast. The internet has dramatically increased the speed of information flow, and I believe some areas of life are not keeping up as quickly, and the school system, I believe that's one of them. So, 3 main areas I believe the school system is failing us. Number 1 is our gender identity. Number 2 is managing our emotions. And number 3 is our money education. And I'm going to detail each one, and I'd love your thoughts. So I believe there is so much talk now about non-binary, transgender, non-gender identity, gender fluidity. There's all of this talk, but I believe Being a man and being a woman, I believe this has somewhat become lost. Like, are we really taught in school what it is to be a woman and what it is to be a man? Because I believe it's more confusing than ever to know what it is to be a woman or a man. Now, by the way, I'm really open-minded to all forms of identity. I really believe that that's a good thing, but we mustn't lose in the process what it is to be a man and what it is to be a woman. Now, I'm going to come back to that in a moment because I've had a couple of these kind of comments. How was— how would I have said 'Jesus, Rob, I love you, but you're really depressing me.' Well, Howard, I cannot depress you without your permission, so in reality, you are depressing yourself. The next thing is I'm just reality-mongering. Some people call me a doom-monger. One guy called me the doom-monger of Europe. No, no, I'm just talking about what I believe to be real and how you can plan and prepare for it and how you cannot just survive but thrive through these really changing and challenging times, because everything is changing so fast and challenging you so fast. And look, by the way, if you disagree with me and you think that life is beautiful and everything is happy and rosy, then let me know in the comments. I would not be getting millions of views a week if the world was happy, happy, joy, joy, skipping down the street. There's some crazy shit going on in the world. Now you can leverage that to your advantage. You can turn that around. You cannot just survive but thrive. But please, Howard, take responsibility for your own feelings and emotions. And remember, at the end of every one of my videos is always a solution. So I would love your thoughts on, do you think school is failing us in teaching us what it is to be a woman? You know, growing up as a girl to become a woman in this difficult world. Growing up as a boy and knowing what it is to become a man in this difficult world. So I think that men have been somewhat emasculated, and social media is, you know, we can't have any hair, we have to shave everything, you know, men wearing makeup, men having to be— a masculinity is being diluted. And then, you know, the whole, um, line of rape and consent and where that is, and, you know, we need drastic education on that because it's changing dramatically. You've got women's roles, women's rights, the gender pay gap. All of this stuff is evolving so fast because of the internet and the speed of information exchange. I really don't feel like the school system has caught up with that. And there's too much focus on non-binary and not enough focus on a girl turning into a woman and a boy turning into a man. So that is one area I believe that the school system is failing us. And needs to catch up. The second way then is managing your emotions. You know, these things called emotions are really freaking strong, and we often don't know what they mean, and we don't know how to manage them and control them and contextualize them. And so what do we do? We get angry, we hurt people, we're aggressive, we hate, we troll, we fight, we kill. But actually, if we were taught to manage these emotions more, Manage your emotions, master your life. Understand what pain and shame and embarrassment and guilt and envy and jealousy and self-loathing— understand what they all mean and where they come from. And understand that it's not other people, it's us. And understand we can control and manage and master our own emotions. Imagine if we all took responsibility for our own emotions and managed and mastered them relatively well. We were in control of them rather than a victim to them. There would not be these mass killings in schools. Because, you know, whilst I haven't done all the science and research, I can make an educated guess that no one who went and shot 20 kids in the school is a happy individual. No, they're in pain and they don't know how to manage their emotions. Not excusing it, just saying. I don't know any mass murderer who's happy. So I believe we've got to learn to manage and master our emotions so much more. This should be a big focus in school. Why in school I learned geography— that was geography taught in French. I learned Latin, Latin and geography. I'll never need to talk about geography in French, and Latin is an outdated language. Why are we learning this shit and we're not learning about mastering our emotions and handling them and knowing what they mean and you know, really understanding the human being, the human psyche, the human mind? Why are we not learning what it is to be a woman and what it is to be a man while we're spreading this confusion across gender non-identity? Let me know what you think by all of this in, in the comments. I'd love your thoughts on this. As you know, I love to discuss and debate with you. I do go in and discuss in the comments with you. Jenna said we should love, learn, teach. Love, compassion. I definitely know through my school that my children, um, go to, they're certainly talking more about kindness, and I think that's nice. You know, kindness is an act, whereas, yeah, love and compassion is more a feeling. Um, But man, our emotions are strong and no, no one teaches us how to manage them. Okay, and then the third area I think is so outdated in the school system is money education. We're not learned about money mindset, are we? We're not taught what our financial ceiling is, why we feel guilt and envy and jealousy around money, and why money is loaded with emotions even though money isn't emotional. We're not taught, for example, a formula for wealth building. My formula for wealth building is perceived value plus fair exchange times leverage. Perceived value plus fair exchange times leverage. I mean, imagine if everyone in school was taught the formula for wealth. How much more wealthy would the world be? Surely the entire world benefits when we're all wealthy. We're all— because you can be more kind and more giving when you're wealthy. You can distribute and share money more freely when you're wealthy. The economy, the GDP, will flow a lot more when we're wealthy. And everyone has the ability to be wealthy, but you're not taught how to at school. Why not? Why aren't you taught how to be wealthy at school? Why aren't you taught about personal finances? You know, you might be able to go to economics, or you might do business studies, by the way, when you're 15. When you're 15, I mean, you've already been formed as a human being by the time you're 15, yet you're not taught about managing your personal finances. You're not taught about how inflation affects you personally. I'm so surprised when I do these lives how many people don't really understand inflation and interest, and not just from a macroeconomics point of view, from— but from a personal finances point of view. Because here's the thing, If you learn about personal money management and budgeting, you know, simple rule of money that you build up to over time: save a portion, spend a portion, invest a portion. Might start with spend 80%, save 10%, invest 10%. Over time, it might be save a third, invest a third, spend a third. I mean, imagine if you're taught that from age 7. People are going to be rich by the time they're 21. Yeah, it's not taught. So let me ask you this: why are we really not taught in school what it is like to be a man and a woman in the most confusing time to be a man and a woman? And again, I'm not criticizing or saying that it's wrong to teach about all forms of non-binary gender identity, but why is there such a massive focus on that and what you can't say to someone and what pronoun you can't call them when we're not properly being taught what it is to be a man and a woman? And ultimately, the man and the woman evolved society, so we mustn't be forgotten as a sex. Why are we not taught about managing and mastering your emotions? Why are we not taught about proper personal finances and money education? I would love your thoughts in the comments. If any of you are a teacher, let's get a discussion going. I'm open-minded to talking about this. Has the school system changed a bit more where you are? Now, you know, a lot of people say, oh well, they're not going to teach you about money properly because they want you in the system. You know, they want you to get into debt and pay £600,000 worth of interest on debt in your life, and they want you to pay your 50% tax and be a good citizen and never ask any questions, and they want you to own nothing and be happy. You know, a lot of people are saying this as to why the school system hasn't evolved when it comes to money and money management. A mastery. Let me know what you think, by the way. I would, I would love to know. Also, I would, would hope that you would share this because I do think the school system needs a radical overhaul. You know, if you think about things that need reform, you know, we're talking about the NHS needs reform, don't we, or radical overhaul. I think the school system is one of them. I really do. Now, you know, my personal mission is to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge. I am not yet ready, or I do not desire to go and try and change the school system. I might in 20 years. What I'm doing is creating my own education platform so that you can learn how money really works and get the education you didn't get in school. Um, because, you know, to change the world, do you go and try and change how the world works, or do you build your own new system? So I'm building my own new school instead of maybe trying to look at getting in and changing the school system from the inside out. There's probably too much power, control, and history there. So the way that I'm doing this, by the way, is through Rob.team. Um, or if you feel that it's not for you, so there's no risk. Craig, you're absolutely right. I completely agree with Craig at this point. Craig has said kids are taught that life is perfect. That's not real life. I Some people have called me a doom-monger, Craig, you know, because I'm bringing what I believe to be important, honest content, which might be scary and it might not be what you want to hear, but I completely agree that we need to raise our kids to know what life is really like. The more of a fantasy we create in our kids through school and through our parenting, i.e., protect them, mollycoddle them, um, or actually cause them overpain, If we don't teach them how the world really is, we don't prepare them for the real world, and the real world will eat them. So for example, I don't give my kids pocket money because the world don't give you pocket money. You know, I punish my kids the way the world punishes my kids, or discipline. You've got to teach your kids how the world really is. Now most of us don't know how the world really is. We know how we want it to be. We get in this fantasy mode of how we expect our employer to look after us, or the government to look after us, or someone to save us. No, no, no one's going to save you. The world is not made to save you. Only you can save and educate yourself. So if you'd like to learn to start a business and scale a business, get your tax down and your income up, you'd like to learn to make, manage, master, and multiply money you'd like to build multiple streams of recurring and digital income, online income, recurring income, maybe even passive income, then Rob.team is the financial educational resource that you can learn this. And I bring my millionaire mentors in as well to do education. Now here's the thing, the people teaching you about money in Rob.team are millionaires or multi-millionaires or even billionaires. The people in school teaching you not about money are broke. They are broke. Like if you think of a tutor at school, they're teaching theory. Let's say a tutor earns $100,000. Well, that's nothing. And they're teaching you theory about business finance and economics. The world's the wrong way around. The system is upside down. And Rob.Tim can give you better financial education and knowledge to help you create multiple streams of recurring income and not just survive but thrive in this cost of living crisis. So open up a new page on the internet right now, type Rob.Tim. A.m. into a new window. Rob.team. Join now. No contract. Cancel anytime. Less than a large coffee. Kids go free. Okay, so the 3 ways I believe the school system is failing us is: one, I think we are losing what it is to be a man and what it is to be a woman and the unique qualities of us all. And in a way, because of all of this gender non-binary acceptance, we are losing what it is to be a man and a woman. And I think this needs to come back in the school system. It's confusing for young adults now. Girl into man, girl into man— yeah, that's not confusing anymore, everyone's talking about that. Girl into woman, boy into man— very confusing. And we don't want confused people. We want clear people. We should be teaching clarity and overcoming confusion. The next thing is managing our emotions. Manage your emotions, master your life. No one's taught how to manage your emotions, what they mean, what these all— what are all the emotions you experience and what do they mean and where do they come from and how do you manage them and how do you get a good outcome and how do you control your thoughts and feelings. We are not taught that in school, and surely that, that is the best fucking thing to learn, and we're not taught it. It's outrageous. And then we're not taught about money, a money mindset, and a formula for wealth, and personal finances, and budgeting. At the, at the moment, the economic system, you know, you've got massive inflation, you've got debasement of currency, you've got huge increase in taxation, and you're not taught in school what any of that means and how to manage and master it and deal with it and overcome it. It's crazy. It's crazy. So if you'd like to give yourself better financial education and knowledge, go join rob.team. Of course, you're less than a large coffee. No, no ongoing contract.
