5 Practical Ways to Bank Money Now

In this 30‑minute YouTube mini‑masterclass, entrepreneur Rob Moore delivers six concrete, short‑term tactics anyone can use to generate cash within the next 7‑14 days. He first addresses employed individuals, urging them to (1) pitch a revenue‑generating idea to their employer and negotiate a commission share, (2) propose selling the company’s unused assets on e‑commerce platforms for a cut, (3) sell their own unused personal items online, and (4) act as a consignment agent for friends and family’s items in exchange for a 25‑30% commission. He then shifts to startup/scale‑up owners, emphasizing the importance of tracking the exact lead source of each paying client, especially high‑value ones, and reinvesting marketing spend into those proven channels while avoiding low‑value sources. Next, he outlines a two‑stage referral/ambassador system: first call clients/leads for feedback, then follow up a week later to request introductions, offering flexible compensation (discounts, vouchers, or cash). He adds a final step of upselling or cross‑selling based on the feedback gathered. Throughout, Rob repeatedly promotes his “Make Cash Challenge” – a 21‑module, 7‑day intensive where participants receive daily tactics, competitions, and mentorship – and his subscription community, Rob.team, which provides ongoing premium content, masterclasses, and networking opportunities. The talk is conversational, motivational, and sales‑oriented, with frequent calls to action (share, comment, follow) and occasional personal anecdotes.

So if you would like 5 practical and tactical ways to put money in your bank in the next 7 days, then stay and watch this entire episode. Listen in, put your slippers on, get comfortable, take notes on whatever device you use. So very often there's content that you're shared with that's theoretical, um, but this will be practical and tactical. So, um, give me a yes in the comments if you're a startup. Let's just have a yes in the comments or DM me on the back channel or wherever, but give me a yes if you're a startup. Um, next, give me a yes if you're a scale-up, which means, you know, you've already been going 1, 2, or 3 years as an entrepreneur. And then also give me a yes if you are neither because you're employed and you're an intrapreneur, or you just simply have a job that you're satisfied with. So basically anyone other than if you're unemployed. Now, by the way, 2 of the 5 practical tactical ways I'm going to share with you will work for you even if you're unemployed. So right now I just want to get to know you a bit more. Put in the comments if you're a startup, a scale-up, or if you are employed. Let's just see in the comments so I can know who I'm talking to, so I can tailor the little mini masterclass I'm doing accordingly. Are you a startup? A scale-up, or are you employed? Okay, so what I'm going to do now is share a couple for you if you're employed, a couple for you if you're a startup, and a couple for you if you're a scale-up. So where should we go first? Where should we start? Let's start with the employed person. So if you are employed, then here are 3 things, 4 things that you can do to make more money in the next 7 days. Number 1, and you know what, most people don't do this, but what you can do is you can sit down and think, how could my company that I work for make more money? So for example, we used to do a lot of speaking courses, but since the lockdown we haven't really done many public speaking courses because that's a difficult one to do online. And one of my team members says, why don't we start up our speaking courses again? Why don't we do A, B, and C? And I thought, yeah, I should have thought of that, but I didn't. And he gave me the great idea to go and, you know, revisit our speaking courses. So if you sit down and think about what you could propose to the company that you work for that could increase their revenue, and you're going to pitch for a share of that revenue. Now, some of you are going to say, yeah, but Rob, but, you know, I won't get that past my boss. So you propose it to your boss, and you propose that your boss requests a commission as well as you. Then you might say to me, oh yeah, but Rob, it's a massive company, they're never going to do anything like that. Well, maybe you're in the wrong company. But if you make a proposal, present it to your company, ask for a 20% revenue, or, you know, maybe a 20% profit share, for the increase in revenue, you could make your— you could double your salary. Now, any company that won't entertain ideas and won't have any of that, I'm gonna question if they're the right company for you. So my— I might have inadvertently done you a little bit of a favor there. I always say to all of my staff— I have 250 people on my payroll across contractors, outsourcers, and staff in the office— And I always say to them, you bring me an idea, you propose your commission, and I will accept or negotiate with you. Now, if my staff refer other staff, they get paid a lump sum. If they, if they bring certain ideas to the company that we already have systemized, they get a lump sum. So in some instances, they know they can get £500 for a referral or £200 for this or £1,000 for this. In other instances, if, if someone pitched me, um, a vertical, a product, a service that could make me six figures in revenue, I'd work out my profit margin. So let's say it was a $100 grand contract, a $30 grand net. I'm paying them minimum $3 grand for that new idea if I'm not already doing it and I haven't had the idea. So have you ever done that? Let me know in the comments. If you haven't, you could go and do that. and that could be a way that you could earn a good lump of money, um, you know, in the next 7, 14, 21 days, something like that. Okay, great. Then the next thing you can do if you are employed, or even if you're unemployed, is you can go around your house and your family's houses and clear all the stuff and chuck them on eBay, Depop, um, Shopify, Etsy, So look, I'm in, um, a home studio I've had made here, and I've got this interactive whiteboard. I don't use it. I'd get a few grand for that. We've got loads of Zoom H1s I'm not using. I've got all my vinyl. I've got loads of valuable vinyl there, but I sold my record player. I've got gimbals and stands and lights. I've got a man fridge. I've got so much shit in here I don't use. Um, so we've all got a load of shit in our house that we don't use. So make sure that you go around your house, collect up as many things as you can, and go and chuck it on all these e-commerce sites. Now, um, what you can also do is go to your employer, your boss, and say, hey, look, we've got loads of book stock that we've not sold, we've got loads of all these, um, things that the company just hold and never sell. What about if I put them all up on, um, e-com sites and maybe I could get a 20% or a 30% commission on? You could also go to all your friends and family and say, look, give me 30% and I'll list all of your stuff. I've actually just, um, my MD's son who's 16— my MD came to me and said, hey, look, my son will, um, sell a lot of these. I got some secondhand Louboutins and I got some, um, you know, uh, sort of suit jackets and loads of stuff. And, um, I gave them all to her 16-year-old son and he's selling them all and he's haggled me to a 25% cut. So those 4 things— pitching your company to do something that increases their revenue and you getting a share, you getting a comms, pitching to your company to sell all their wasteful things in their office that they don't use and get revenue for it, pitching, um, you know, friends and family and other people that you know to sell their products and services on e-commerce sites— these are 4 things you can do right now to put cash in the bank if you are employed, or if you are, um, not unemployed, even if you're unemployed. Okay, so if you're employed or unemployed and you found those tips useful, hit the share button right now. Please just share the love because this is practical tactical content that I want to make sure anyone who wants to make more money can gain access to. So please just hit the share button and share the love. Now some of you might, might think Well, that's not new, Rob. I knew that. Okay, so are you doing it? Is the cash rolling in this week, next week? We're at the end of the month in the UK where there's the— well, we're at the end of the month every country, but in the UK the tax is due. I'm paying a great big fuck-off massive tax bill, so you might want to generate some revenue in the next week to get that tax bill paid. So to know and not to do is not to know. So you're either doing it or you're not. And if you're not, then, you know, use this as the kick up the ass required. Okay, so that's 4 ways to bank cash in the next 7 days. Now I'm going to move towards if you are a scale-up or startup business owner. So put scale-up or startup in the comments or in the back channels, whichever one you are. Are you a startup or a scale-up? Let me know. Okay, and here we go. So if you are a— you have some customers, you might have 10, you might have 100, you might have 1,000, but if you have some customers, here's how to make bank in the next 1 to 2 weeks. Get a list of all your customers and find out the exact lead source of those customers. So most people cannot tell me when I ask them where they got their customers from. And if they say, oh well, I always get referrals or Facebook ads, that's not good enough because there's a load of different Facebook groups you can advertise on. There's a load of different keywords you can advertise on on Google Ads. So you actually need to know the interest group or the keyword specifically of the source of the lead that becomes a client. So most people don't track their leads, and especially they don't track the client lead source. So I want to know where every buyer comes from. I'm not so interested actually where every lead comes from. That's interesting to me, but what's more interesting than where every lead comes, because leads could be non-buyers. They could be browsers, not buyers. What's the most interesting is where do my buyers come from? Where do my customers, my clients come from? And even more, what is interesting to me is where do my best, highest-paying customers come from? Now I'm going to give you a bit of differentiation here. So for example, when, um, I have a client that could pay $5. I have a client that could pay £40,000. So a client could be worth $5 to me or could be worth $50,000 plus. They are not the same client. They do not have the same value. I should not spend the same amount to acquire them, and I should know where I acquire the $5 client and also the £40,000 client. So whenever I'm in front of some high-paying clients— so I run masterminds, I do one-to-one mentoring. My one-to-one mentoring is £50,000, £48,000 including the VAT, so it's about $60,000. Um, my, um, elite-level mastermind is £25,000 plus VAT, so it's £30,000, nearly $35,000, something like that. And that's because I attract 6 and 7 and 8-figure business owners and not startups, by the way, in those masterminds, and they can afford it and they run it as a business expense. So I always ask them, where did you originally find out about me or the mentoring or masterminding? And do you know, time and time again, people say to me, Rob, your Disruptors podcast, or Rob, your money book, or Rob, your Life Leverage book. They don't say Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads, Instagram Ads, Clubhouse, blah blah blah. Now, when we do, um, feedback and research and we find out where people join our courses— so our Recurring Income Summit or my Six Figure Subscription Secrets Masterclass or my Podcast Livestream Masterclass— when I ask people about those courses, time and time again they say Facebook, Clubhouse, Instagram. So I know that I find the $2 grand client from Clubhouse, Facebook, Instagram. And so I know I can pump back in some spend into Instagram and Facebook ads, and I can spend some time in Clubhouse rooms because you can't run ads on Clubhouse. But if I want the top dog client, the $40 grand client, I need to get more books sold of my money book, and I need to get more people listening to my Disruptors podcast because I've gone and worked out where my best clients come from. So do you have a list of your clients from top to bottom, i.e., your most expensive and best client all the way down to your lower value clients? And do you have exactly the lead source where you found them? My guess is no, because 99%, well, maybe 95% of business owners I mentor or I talk to, they don't have that information. So your first step is going to be that you're going to get that information and you're going to find out the exact lead source of your top clients. You're going to rank them in order, and then you're going to reinvest time and marketing money back into those channels. So I do a lot of content on Clubhouse because I have a lot of people that do my courses and subscribe to my podcast, etc., and join my Rob.team platform from Clubhouse. But you know, I, I would never bother doing ads to get a podcast subscriber or run an ad to sell a book. Why would you run an ad that costs you £20 to sell a book that's a tenner? That's stupid. No, it's not stupid, because if one in every 100 book buyers spends £25,000 or £40,000 in my mentoring or masterminding, I'd spend £30 to sell a £10 book because I know the lifetime client value. So if you're a start-up or scale-up entrepreneur, track exactly where you found each paying client and reverse engineer more marketing, more spend, and more time into those lead sources instead of wasting your time on all the other lead sources. So, um, whilst I do post daily on TikTok, I don't put much time into TikTok. Why? Because TikTok has never acquired me a higher paying client. So for me, TikTok is about reach, it's about growth, it's about brand, it's about exposure. But I'm only going to spend 15-20 minutes of my day on that, or I'm only going to go live on TikTok when I'm also live on all the other channels. But Facebook and my money book and my podcast, The Disruptors, this has made me many millions of pounds in clients. Now, by the way, I have some high-ticket clients at the £25,000 and £50,000 level, so you've got that to think about. Uh, and also I've been doing this for 15 years, so I'm not saying you're going to make tens of thousands immediately. But what I am saying is if you reverse engineer where you get your best clients and you market back to those platforms, then you're going to get more of your best clients. And by the way, I do the opposite. Whenever I get a complainant, a refund requestant, or a pain in the ass, I find out what lead source I found them from and I do less marketing and less content on those lead sources. We used to get our absolute worst lead sources from Black Friday and Groupon, like literally people who wanted a tenner for a fiver and they wanted a free go in your Lamborghini and a go on your wife as well. They literally wanted everything for a fiver and it cost you a tenner. So I reverse engineered where we found our worst clients and our refunders and our complainers, and we don't— this is reverse marketing there. So this works, but you have to do it. So the next thing I'm going to share with you— I hope you're finding this useful, by the way. Just give me a bit of feedback in the comments or the back channels. Also, um, make sure you're following me because I do try and do content every day, but if you're not following me, you're not going to get notified. So wherever you're watching or listening, just give me a follow. On Clubhouse, I'm the third row down in the orange background, and on the lives, you can just see who I am. But just hit that follow button. Um, you know, I'm committed to helping entrepreneurs across the planet start and scale their business and get better financial knowledge. I'm going to do this for the rest of my life. I'd like to bring you along for the ride. I'm 43, I've been doing it 16 years. I've got another 50 years in the bank to go, so let's bring it on. Make sure you're following me. All right, now the next thing I'm going to do is— so by the way, if you think about it, the 5 ways I've just taught you to make bank in the next 7 days, make real money You know that I've not just blown you away with some brand new secret strategy like the metaverse or NFTs. This is actually pretty logical and common sense content. But remember this, it's so important to remember: to know and not to do is not to know. Now, if you've just tuned in and you missed all 5, I'll do a summary at the end. Don't worry, don't worry. And stay with me because I've got something that you're absolutely going to love, which is linked to the this content. Okay, now, um, if you ask most people how they get their new clients, they say through referrals. And what they mean is they accidentally get new clients when other clients are happy, and those other clients off their own back go and refer them. That's not a referral campaign, that's luck. Whereas if you build an ambassador program or a proper referral campaign, you turn luck into leverage. You turn randomness into revenue. So here's what you do. I've got a perfected two-stage approach when it comes for getting referrals. Number one is you, or someone in your organization if you've got quite a lot of clients, you pick up the phone and you phone every single one of your clients. And if you haven't got clients, you phone every single one of your leads. And you say, hey, it's Rob. Look, I'm not calling you to make a sale. I just wanted to get some feedback. Could you give me 2 minutes? Could you just let me know what we're good at and what we're bad at? Could you let me know what we should do more of and less of? And what kind of things do you want from us? Like, what would be an ideal thing that we could offer you? Listen, take some notes, thank them, and then at the end say, hey, look, if I end up doing any of this that you mention, or we do end up you know, improving our products or services. Could I let you know about it? Of course they're going to say yes, that's all good. You've got some useful feedback, which by the way, if you implement that, you'll make more money. And you've connected, you've made a bridge with your lead or your client. And then a couple, a week or two later, you're going to call them back up and say, hey, you know, we chatted a couple of weeks ago. Well, I've got some good news. We've implemented A and B. Would you be okay in connecting me up between, with between 1 and 3 people who you know who might benefit from the product and service. Now don't worry, you don't have to do anything. Maybe you could just email them and email me and copy us in and just connect us and I'll do the rest. Now look, I don't know if you would just do this because, you know, it's the sort of thing you like to do, or maybe you'd want some discount vouchers off of me, you know, from out for our products and services, or maybe you'd want me to pay you a commission. It's up to you, you let me know. I'm happy to be flexible for you. Just, just, um, maybe email me and connect me in with maybe 3 people you know, you know, who are like you. Thanks. Cool. So this works, by the way, because some people will refer you because they're nice and they like to refer you. Some people will refer you but they won't want to take money because that'll feel a bit— feels a bit off. But they'd happily take vouchers or get a discount. And then other people would only do it if they got paid. So you do a 2-step: create rapport, get some information, get some feedback, and then a week or 2 later, then you call them back up and you ask for the referral. And what you'll find is 10 or 20 or 50% of them will connect you up with between 1 and 3 people, and then you'll get a load of new leads who are just like your existing leads or clients. This works. But it only works if you do. So I recommend to you that every 3 to 6 months you diarise to go through all your leads and all your clients and do this 2-step over 2-week process and call them all up and get feedback. By the way, you'll learn so much about your business and you'll make so many more improvements, and you'll probably end up creating new products and services. And if you're not converting, you'll end up converting if you listen to them. But then what you'll do on the second time is you'll ask for that referral. Now you could just go for the sale. You could say, hey, good news, um, 2 weeks ago we spoke and you said you wanted me to do A, B, and C. I've done it. I'm just letting you know, would you like to buy it? So you could actually go straight for the sale. Now if you've got quite a few, um, leads and clients, get one of your outsourcers to do this, or your telesales team, or your staff. Um, but if you haven't got that many, do it yourself. Cool. So let me know in the comments what you think about that. Please hit the share button if you've found that useful, by the way. And now I'm going to do a summary of these— oh, 6 different ways that you can put cash in the bank in the next 7 days. Okay, number 1, you're going to approach your boss or your employer or your contractor. You're going to give them an idea that can increase their revenue, and you're going to ask for for 10, 20, 30% of that revenue uplift. And you're only gonna do the deal when they've agreed in principle that they'll pay you a comms, and then you're going to give them the idea, because otherwise you lose the leverage. Number 2 thing you can do is you can go to your employer and offer to sell all of the stuff that they've got in the buildings and the offices that they're not using, that's going down in value. And ask for a 30% cut. Number 3 thing you can do is go around your house and sell all the stuff you don't need on all the e-com channels. Number 4 thing you can do is you can go to your friends and family and offer to sell all of their stuff for a 30% cut. By the way, I've got 2 people selling all my stuff, and I'm giving them a 25% or 30% cut depending on if they're under 18 or over 18. I've got a 16-year-old who's the son of my MD doing this right now, and it's a good win-win. In fact, check this out. I got some actual cash in the pocket they gave me today. Well, hey, it works. Cash in the bank. Okay, number 5 thing you're going to do to make bank in the next 7 days is you're going to call up all of your leads and clients. Step 1, get feedback. Step 2, ask for a referral and ask them to copy you in on an email to 3 people. And then step 6, thing you're gonna do, um, is you're going to then upsell them if your products and services are fit based on the feedback that they gave you. Okay, so if you thought those 6 practical and tactical ways to make bank in the next 7 days was useful, imagine getting that amount of content for me 21 times in a row. Imagine not just one mini masterclass like that, but 21 mini masterclasses like that on 7 days in a row in the next 10 days? Well, that is actually happening live on my brand new Make Cash Challenge. So twice a year, only twice a year, I run a Make Cash Challenge where we do 21 modules over 7 days where we, we teach you every strategy and tactic that we know to put cash in the bank. I've just shared 6 with you now. If you thought any of those were useful, imagine if you could learn 21 times this amount of content. Now, my challenges are not free because they're valuable, because I bring in multi-millionaire guests, because we record all the content and give you the recording. However, if you'd like to gain access to this challenge completely for free, all you need to do is go now to the link that I'm going to share with you, um, on the platform that you're on. So I'm just going to ping a link right now on Clubhouse. It's pinned. Go to that link right now, join for just the cost of a large cup of coffee, and you can get this Make Cash Challenge completely for free. I'm putting the, the link in, uh, on Facebook now. Let me just put it there. I'm just going to give you a different link because on Facebook there's a different way to join. Um, and if you're on Instagram, go right now to rob.team— R-O-B dot T-E-A-M. I've just put the link there on Facebook. So Facebook, it's a different link, but in Clubhouse and on Instagram, um, I've just shared the link with you at the top. So you're going to go to that link in the comments and at the top, or, um, on Facebook it's a different link in the comments. And for just a fiver— let me show you what a fiver looks like— £5, $5, you know what it looks like. For that, you're going to gain access to the 7-day, 21-module Make Cash Challenge. Now, every video will be recorded and then they will all be collated, and all 21 modules you will be able to keep for life of the membership of Rob.team. Now, on Rob.team, you get 10 pieces of premium content per month. Give me a yes in the comments if you want to start a business. Give me a yes in the comments if you want to scale a business. Give me a yes in the comments if you'd like to get better financial education and knowledge. Let me know if you'd like to earn multiple streams of recurring income, leverage the creator economy, build a personal brand. If you can say yes to any of those, then Rob.team, my, um, subscription members area, is for you. And if you join right now, um, for just the investment of one large coffee, then for absolutely for free, you can gain access to the 21-module 7-day Make Cash Challenge where every day, 3 times a day, I am going to give you strategies and tactics to put cash in the bank. This is not theory. This is not, um, stuff that will take 3, 6, 12 months. This is not content that will take loads of, um, capital upfront. You will be able to put cash in the bank in the next 7 days once the challenge has started. And get this, we run competitions and we run prizes and we give awards. Winners will get mentoring with me and masterminding. Winners will gain access to courses and a VIP network of entrepreneurs. We've got a leaderboard that we run. By the way, you have to prove that you put cash in the bank Usually when people join this Make Cash Challenge, they bank between £3,000 in a week to £35,000 in a week. Cash in the bank. Cash they didn't have before that week. Mahmoud Bashash has just said that he wants it, so go to the link. If you're on Instagram or Clubhouse, go right now to rob.team. On Facebook, it's a different link. I've just put it in the comments. Because you can gain access on Facebook and gain access through the Facebook Lives. But on Clubhouse and Instagram, go to rob.team. Now, as a member of rob.team— so by the way, Will Faris just joined— you get 10 pieces of premium content from me on being an entrepreneur and making more money and creating recurring income. You get 2 masterclasses a month from me. So my 6-Stage 7-Figure Launch masterclass, for example, or my 10x Your Following Social Media Monetization masterclass. You're going to gain completely free access to these masterclasses. Now, these masterclasses, they're often $300, $500, some of them $1,000, and you're going to get them completely for free when you join Rob.team. Now, by the way, this Make Cash Challenge, I'm not going to say, oh, it's $1,000 or it's $2,000. Why? Because I never sell it. You can't buy it. It's impossible to get it unless you go to the link, um, in the Facebook. I've put the link or a Rob.team on Clubhouse or on Instagram. Now, my guess is you've probably tailed off a bit this, this year. Like, you probably had a good start to the month and you're all buzzed and excited, and then you know what? Life got in the way. It's nearly the end of Jan, there's the tax bill coming, you've got bills to pay, you've got the first of the month coming, all your bills and expenses are gonna go out. If you can relate to any of that, you absolutely must join The Make Cash Challenge. It does what it says on the tin. Every one of the 21 modules is designed to put cash in the bank within a week. So do yourself a favor, if you need a bit of a cash injection, go to rob.team. The link is at the top on Clubhouse, but it's a different link on Facebook, so I've just actually put the link in the comments on Facebook. Um, there are 5 main benefits for being a Rob.team member. Number 1 is you get the 10 pieces of premium-only-for-Rob.team content pieces, um, a month. And that could be startup, scale-up, being, being an entrepreneur, running your business, sales, marketing. It could be on recurring income, digital assets. By the way, um, we've just had, um, Dr. Lindsay has just signed up. Just let me know in the comments if you've signed up, I'll shout you out. Welcome aboard, Dr. Lindsay. So you're going to get those 10 premium pieces of content each month. That's not stuff I share publicly. You're also going to get 2 masterclasses a month, and Matt's in. Matt's just joined, by the way. These 2 masterclasses are usually on sales or marketing or recurring income or digital assets. I often get my multimillionaire friends to come in and do their specialist subjects for basically creating recurring income. In addition to that, we do the 2 Make Cash Challenges a year, and the 2 10x your social media following channels a year. Sally's joined, she is in. So, um, I only do 2 Make Cash Challenges a year. I don't let anyone join them unless you're a Rob.team member. And we've got one coming up in the next few days, so jump in right now at Rob.team so you can get in on this exclusive challenge. I do one every January because I know people need that bang at the start of the year to put cash in the bank and pay those December bills.
