5 Steps to Hit Big Income Goals for 2022

In this 2022 New Year mini‑masterclass, entrepreneur Rob Moore shares five actionable strategies for achieving large income targets. He opens by establishing credibility, citing a £13.5 million net‑profit property development and a personal journey from debt to multi‑millionaire status, and notes his experience interviewing 16 billionaires on his Disruptive Entrepreneur podcast. He then outlines the five steps: (1) continuously learn from wealthy individuals by consuming their content and networking; (2) convert vague financial fantasies into specific, time‑bound plans broken down into daily actions; (3) create recurring income by building both traditional (real‑estate, property management) and digital assets (NFTs, social tokens, metaverse projects); (4) tap into the current decentralisation movement—DeFi, crypto, NFTs, and anti‑globalisation trends—to stay ahead of financial disruption; and (5) leverage the creator economy by building a personal brand, expanding across social platforms (Clubhouse, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), and monetising content. Throughout, Moore intersperses promotional calls to action, directing viewers to robmoore.com/pod for free resources tied to his podcast’s six‑year anniversary. The talk blends motivational rhetoric with concrete tactics, urging viewers to act immediately.

Talk myself out. Hey, so happy New Year! If you'd like to hit your big money goals in 2022, then this little mini masterclass will be useful for you. Now, um, I was just called out, uh, how to make £14 million in a month. Well, look, um, that would be a different title though. In November 2021, I made £13,477,000 net profit in one of my real estate developments. My, um, 99-apartment, 159-tenant block that spent 4 and a half years doing. In November '21, it made £13,477,000 net. Now, that was rolled up. It was in the month of November, but it was rolled up, and it was a 4 and a half year project. So I just want to give you some context. But the reason I say that is because there's going to be a lot of people out there giving you a load of free money advice, and it's worth every penny. And I say this with humility, but I've been on the journey. I've interviewed 16 billionaires. I have the Money Podcast, which has, um, 250 episodes. My book Money is the UK's best-selling book on money. I was in a lot of debt in my 20s, got out in my 30s, millionaire by age 31, deca-millionaire by age 35, yada yada. So look, gotta have context because there's too many people talking about money that, you know, maybe haven't really done it. They've just read a few books. That's not me. I've been doing this stuff for 16 years. So what I'm going to do is share with you 5 simple steps to hit some bigger money goals in 2022. Now, 2 or 3 of them are practical. 1 or 2 of them are leveraging some really interesting things that are going on in the world right now. So number 1 is you follow wealthy people and you consume their content and you read their books and you go on their courses and you learn what they know. Number 2 is then you've got to create your own specific plan and goal. And that isn't just, I want to be a millionaire this time next year, Rodney. That is nowhere near enough. By the way, I'll give you a bit of detail in these, don't worry. Number 3 is you need to build recurring income. If you don't make money when you sleep, you'll be working till you die. That is, um, Warren Buffett's quote. Number 4 is there's a big movement going on right now, and I'm going to tell you what it is and how you can jump in on it. And then number 5 is leveraging this new creator economy. So 1, follow and learn from wealthy people. 2, have a specific plan and goal. 3, recurring income from assets. 4, leveraging a big movement going on right now. And 5, the creator economy. So are you ready? Sit back, relax, consume, and make sure you take action, because when all is said and done, more is said than done. And I've got a gift, by the way. Stay with me to the end, or somewhere in the middle I might surprise you. I've got a special gift. Okay, so you need to follow millionaires and billionaires. You would not get a personal trainer who's had 14 heart bypass operations. So many people are learning from people who aren't even rich yet. That's why I did at the start put my flag in the ground and say, hey, look, I've got myself out of debt. I made millions by age 31. I made tens of millions by age 35. I made £13,477,000 on one property in November. Oh, by the way, that's not a brag. Because I've got billionaire friends who do that in a month, or that's a shit month for them. That's like my best month, $13.5 million, and that's their worst month, you know, when there was a lockdown in, in August or whatever. So look, every level, new devil. Your reward for solving a problem is a big one. It's not brag, it's just a fact. But I learned from billionaires. I've interviewed 16 billionaires on my Disruptive Entrepreneur podcast. Um, I've interviewed Floyd Mayweather twice. Who's done $900 million in revenue in his career. I've interviewed people worth $100 million, $400 million, $500 million, $700 million. I interviewed the founder of Superdry, worth $400 million. I interviewed my friend, um, Alfie Best, uh, now worth a billion. He was worth $700 million when I first got to know him. Um, so You've got to follow and study and get around and be around and network with and learn from millionaires, deca-millionaires, and hundred-millionaires. That's step and tip number 1. And by the way, if you want access to all these millionaire interviews, I've just put a link at the top. Um, it's the 6-year anniversary of my podcast, The Disruptive Entrepreneur. 6 years in dog years, that makes my podcast 185 years old. So it's robmoore.com/pod. Um, at any time, just go and grab some gifts and also access to all those, um, billionaire interviews. I'll leave the link up for you. Um, okay, right. So number 2 then is you need to have a specific goal and then a plan. So, um, a goal is really a fantasy. A goal is, I want to make a million in a year, or I want to make 5 grand a month within a year, or whatever. That's a goal, but it's a fantasy. Because it's just an idea. But a plan is something that you have that you can execute, that chunks it down to baby steps that you can implement. So a goal is, I want to be a millionaire by 50. A plan is, I'm going to make 50 grand in year 1, 75 grand in year 2, 125 grand in year 3, 500 grand in year 4, and a million in year 5. And I'm going to do it with 3 income streams. 1, the creator economy. 2, real estate. And 3, my personal brand. And I'm going to post content every day, and I'm going to work for 3 hours a day on building my online digital assets. Now it starts to become a plan. Everyone sets goals at the end of 2021 and the start of 2022, but remember, a goal is a fantasy. You know, this— look, when I was a kid I wanted to marry Tess Daly, who's on Strictly Come Dancing. That was a fantasy, but it might have been a goal for me, but it was a fantasy. So you have to turn your fantasy goal into a specific plan, actionable, step by step. Chunk it down from 3 years to 1 year to 3 months to 1 month. And then what actions have you got to do every single day? So I compartmentalize my diary, which means I put a few actions in my diary every single day, whether it's going to the gym, listening to podcasts It's doing strategic work, it's writing content, recording and creating content, working on my money and income generating projects. For example, I have an NFT launch coming in a couple of weeks' time. Keep your eyes and ears out for that. It is completely unique. No one has done any NFTs like this. It's got utility, it's got art, it's got community. I actually used to be an artist. Most people don't know this. Lots of people creating NFTs but just jumping on a bandwagon. I was a hardcore artist. So, um, yeah, so I'm working on projects like that every single day. On New Year's Eve, I'm working on projects. On New Year's Day, I'm working on projects. So follow and learn from wealthy people, which I do to this day. By the way, what a lot of people do is go, oh yeah, I read a few books. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I've done Rob's book. Yeah, I've listened to Rob's podcast. Yeah. And that's it. And then they stop. That's like breathing once and thinking like you're gonna live forever. That's like having sex once and thinking you're going to get multiple orgasms forever. That's not how life works. You have to keep at it and you have to chunk the big into the small. Think big, start small. Okay, number 3 then. If you want to really build big money in 2022, you need recurring income. You need assets. If you work your whole life and don't make money while you sleep, you will be working until you die. So are you just putting your time into exchanging it for money and selling your time? Like, don't sell your time if you can help it, unless you love what you're doing or the money is crazy big. Like, you know, someone offered me a million pounds to go naked on a Facebook Live, I'd jump up and down doing it. So I don't mind selling my time if the money is good, but don't sell your time cheap. So many people are selling their time cheap. And, and, you know, I've got nothing against having a job. I'm, you know, I'm an employer of about 250 people on my payroll across the various companies I have— contractors and, um, you know, in-house staff in lettings and construction and training. And I love them all, but I'm not even telling my own staff, you should be building assets for your future. Now, you don't get recurring income from exchanging it for money and working. You get recurring income. So you need to change your occurring income, which by the way doesn't occur if there's a lockdown or COVID. It's zero. And then you're like, uh, government, please give me more. Whereas if you have recurring income, whether you're asleep or dead or locked down or any country in the world, or you have internet or not, or you're working or not, you're still earning. That is how you hit big money. So for 2022, let it be the year where you build assets. Now, I'm a big fan of real estate. I have 1,340 tenants across hundreds of property units. We're developing 220 units across 2 blocks as we speak. I'm hardcore, diehard property. However, I'm spending more of my time now and more of my investment and my focus in digital real estate. So launching my own NFT, launching my own social token and coin, putting content out there on social media and monetizing all the different tools and features and channels. The, the digital assets are the future, the metaverse, all the new cryptos that are coming out. You've got to stay one step ahead of this. Even if it's not your full-time thing, make it your part-time thing. Now, if you can merge your passion into your profession, if you love NFTs, the metaverse, cryptocurrencies, content, social media, etc., then you make that passion that profession. And then look, then you'll never work another day in your life, even if you're working every day. So, you know, I was just talking to Grant Cardone literally an hour ago, and, um, he said, oh yes, New Year's Day and I'm working. I'm working on New Year's Day. I'd rather be doing this than fucking around playing the computer game, or I don't know, eating leftover Christmas dinner, or chatting shit to whoever, whatever. I don't know, but I wouldn't rather be doing anything else. That's not naughty. So if you turn your passion into your profession, your information into income, your content into cash flow, and you get interested in things that are also revenue generating and are digital assets, boom, you're winning and you're winning big. Which moves us nicely to my point 4 of 5. By the way, I want to thank you all for tuning in. I'm getting lots of nice comments. Hey everyone, happy new year! Make sure you're following me. Thanks for all your support. Let's make 2022 the big year finally. The Big Year. Make sure you share my content wherever you can. Now, there's a big movement going on right now, and it is anti-globalization. It's called decentralization. Now, we've got this weird polarized world going on where on the one extreme you've got, oh, world global power, big tech, Rothschilds, the global reset, the New World Order. Now, I don't know if it's true or not. Who fucking knows? Who fucking cares? What you can control is what you can That's what you can control. This morning I did a talk, and I said successful people will move on from this pandemic. They won't spend the next year worrying and moaning and complaining about it. They're over it. They're going to focus on what they can control. So the fight against globalization and one new world order is decentralization. So finance is being decentralized and disrupted into DeFi. Currency is being disrupted into cryptocurrency. Media is being decentralized and disrupted into social media. Social media is disrupting itself. It's a year anniversary since I launched on Clubhouse, and Clubhouse was a big disruptor to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok. And now Facebook Audios and Twitter Spaces and Green Room and Fireside and Speakeasy, they are disrupting back to Clubhouse. So we've got this massive decentralization of everything. You could be your own TV star on YouTube, you can be your own radio or talk show star on a podcast, you can do Facebook Lives and Clubhouse rooms, and you're completely decentralized away from mainstream media, away from power and control of the fat cats. And you can turn on multiple monetization tools across all these media channels, and you can make a full-time career turning your content into cash flow. Your passion into your profession. And if you can't get excited about that, then you don't have a pulse. Now that— this moves me nicely to my final point of 5. So what I'm sharing here is 5 tips to make big money in 2022. Number 1, follow and learn from the wealthy and do this on an ongoing basis. Number 2, have a specific goal that's turned into a plan that's shrunk down from 3-5 years down to I don't know, maybe daily. So for example, I'm 50 in 7 years and 2 days because my birthday in a couple of days, and I, I had a goal to have 6 million followers on social media by age 50. It's, look, it's an arbitrary goal. I want to impact 6 million people more than just get follows, but you know, that's one of my targets. Now when you chunk that down, that's actually 30,000 a week, and many weeks I've grown up 30, 40, 50, 60,000. So chunk down it's actually not as overwhelming. So you break the goal down and you have a specific clear plan, which— go back and listen and watch, um, if you've missed any of the content I've done so far. Um, I'll put the Facebook Live video on my Facebook page so you can go back and watch it, because TikTok and Clubhouse, the recording will disappear. Bear, Men in Black, God, bye. So make sure you follow me on Facebook. Okay, number 3 was you've got to create recurring income from assets. Now, my old school assets are digital real estate and training businesses and lettings, agencies and property management and classic cars and watches and all these other kind of traditional physical tangible asset classes. But now people are making millions out of NFTs, the metaverse, domain names, their social media channels. Exciting time to be alive. And that, my friends, is the creator economy. And my final tip for you is jump in on this creator economy. You want to be expanding your social media following, you want to be building your personal brand, you want to be monetizing all the different social media channels. Now, um, personal brand isn't new. Do you know this, um, pair of trainers? So my son just got for Christmas Nike Air Jordan. Now, Michael Jordan built a massive personal brand making hundreds of millions, maybe even billions, 20 years before personal brand was a thing. And now it's not just Michael Jordan who can have a personal brand. We can all have a personal brand because of the decentralization movement we're in right now. Now, 10 years ago, no one would have heard of Rob Moore. I'm just a random guy. You wouldn't have heard of me. I'm from Peterborough. No one knows where I'm from, who I am. I'm a hustly entrepreneur. That's it. And now, thanks to Facebook and TikTok and Clubhouse, I mean, I'm in the top 100 followed people in the world. On Clubhouse because I can just go on Clubhouse for free, use Clubhouse's profile for free, run my mouth off for free, and reach— well, 286,000 people follow me on Clubhouse. I'll probably reach more than a million people on Clubhouse this year. That's so powerful. Now, 20 years ago, I'd have to go to Rupert Murdoch and go, oh, how much to advertise for 10 seconds on your Big Sky TV, sir? Oh, £500,000. A minute. So my question to you is, are you creating content? Are you focusing on a niche and doing Clubhouse rooms and Facebook Lives and TikTok Lives and TikTok and Reels and stories and LinkedIn articles and SEO blogs and YouTube?
