7 Ways to Make 5k a Month in Quick Time

Rob Moore breaks down seven ways to hit 5k a month fast: subscription platforms like Kajabi and Patreon, podcast ads, online courses, high-ticket coaching, YouTube revenue, audiobooks, and Instagram shout-outs. He shows concrete numbers, like 500 members at £10 a month or 35,000 podcast downloads, and stresses repurposing content across channels to build a paid funnel.

7 ways to make $5,000 per month, dollars or pounds, in the quickest time. Now, I don't usually write things or do content on how to get rich quick because I like to stay away from the schemey scammy stuff that's out there. But the world has completely changed now. So for example, mentors of mine who are 60 and 70 would advise to be patient and persistent, and that it takes 10 years to be an overnight success. And then this kid called Ryan comes along, unboxes toys on YouTube, and by the age of 6 he's a deca-millionaire, and by the age of 8 he's earned $27 million in one year on YouTube. Little bastard. My mentors who are 60 and 70 omitted to tell me how quickly I could make money on YouTube. Joe Rogan sells his podcast for $100 million. Now, I have 1,300 tenants across hundreds of properties built over 15 years, and yet there's no way I could get $100 million for selling that real estate portfolio. And Joe Rogan sold freaking audio files on a memory card for $100 million. People are creating NFTs and coins and they are becoming more wealthy quicker than ever. Um, back in the day, Bill Gates became the youngest billionaire, and he would have been, what, 50s, 60s, I guess. And now there's 20 billionaires in their 20s. So you can get rich much quicker. You can make money in a very short period of time, but you have to unlearn the old rules and learn the new rules of the game. And the old rules aren't patience and compounding. You know, these are the old rules: patience, compounding, consistency, longevity, enduring success. The new rules are speed, distribution, leverage, social media, Web 3.0, metaverse, followers, fans, virality. Partnerships, endorsements, collaborations. The, the world has changed, and it's really exciting if you embrace it, but you have to think like a 15-year-old, not like a 65-year-old. So on my Instagram story right now, um, I have put an agenda for this little mini masterclass: 7 ways to make £5,000 a month in the quickest time. So number 1 is going to be building your own subscription platform. Number 2 is going to be your podcast. Number 3 is going to be online courses. Number 4 is going to be having clients, as you know, mentees or in a mastermind. Number 5 is going to be your YouTube channel. Number 6 is going to be audiobook sales. And number 7 is going to be leveraging your Instagram. Now, if you, if you play a really smart game here, you can actually cross-purpose and be omnipresent on these channels simultaneously. So you don't have to create unique content per platform. So you can leverage your time and create multiple streams of income from the same piece of content that you create. Now I'll share with you exactly how to do that towards the end of this little mini masterclass. So the first thing you do is you build your own subscription platform. So I have 3, um, and I wouldn't advise that you have 3. It was just the evolution of my journey. But there are 4 main subscription platforms. Kajabi for online courses. OnlyFans if you and your look is your asset. And I, and by the way, I, when I say OnlyFans, you know, most people chuckle away, you know, tits and ass and porn. No, no, no, no, no. You know, there are many other ways to leverage OnlyFans. I'm trying to get a big OnlyFans influencer on my podcast, and I'll get some criticism for that because, you know, people are— I only learned what a pink canoe was last week. This is how naive I am. I'm 42 and I only learned what that was last week. So people are selling their pink canoe for a few dollars a month. I had to Google that. But when they've got 9,500 members, that's not bad money. So, um, I respect people who've learned how to build a business that people want and that is useful. But many of you maybe wouldn't go down the OnlyFans route, so then you'd probably go down the Patreon route. So Patreon is your own kind of branded content, and then there's the Facebook supporter platform which I use. I have 3,100 and something supporter members, and they pay me, you know, 5 £1 a month, dollars a month, whatever, and I give them extra value content, premium exclusive access, um, content. You know, maybe you start with 1 piece a week, you move up to 6 pieces a month, and you only need 500 members at £10 a month, and you've got £5,000 a month. Job done. Now, do you know how easy it is to get 5 new members a day? It's so easy. Imagine if you did a Facebook Live and you only got one member. So then you did an Instagram Live and you only got one member. I mean, like, you'd, you'd have to not be able to talk to only get one member, but imagine that was the case. Facebook Live, one member. Instagram Live, one member. Went on Wisdom, got one member. Recorded your podcast, got one member. Posted a story, got one member. You did that every day, that's 5 members a day. That's 500 members in 100 days. That's 5,000 members in 1,000 days. That's 50,000 a month in 3 years. Who would like £50,000 recurring every single month within 3 years, being so rubbish at promoting your event that you only get 1 new member per promotional piece of content? Anyone can do that. You, you know, you I, I just know anyone can do that. And then remember I said that there's ways to content repurpose and leverage your time later. Some people are commenting here that they just looked up being canoe. Don't look it up. Um, all right, number 2 then. You only need about 35,000 downloads a month on your podcast to hit 5,000 a month. And those numbers sound quite big. That's only 1,100 downloads a day. But if you've done 100 episodes, then that's only 10 or 11 downloads an episode a day. Anyone can do that. So I'm kicking myself I only started my podcast 6 years ago. I wonder if you're kicking yourself that you haven't started your podcast yet. Start now, get perfect later. Um, so 500 members on a subscription platform every month is $5,000 a month. Just 1,100 downloads a day on your podcast, or, um, you know, divide that by 10 or 100, divide depending on how many episodes you've got, and you're easily at $5,000 a month on your podcast through sponsors. And advertisers. So start your freaking podcast. Start now, get perfect later. Build your subscription site. Start now, get perfect later. Okay, the third way to make £5,000 a month, um, very quickly is by selling 4 online courses at £1,200 to £1,500, or 5 at £1,000. So I've sold thousands of online podcast courses, literally thousands. You could start your own online course at $500 and you only need to sell 10 of them a month, one every 3 days, and you have $5,000 a month. Now, when you create an online course and a podcast and a subscription site, here's the good news that I haven't even mentioned, mentioned yet. You create the asset once and then you leverage it on an ongoing basis. So I'm not talking to you about, you know, doing a one-to-one course or having to do fresh content every day. I'm talking about creating your podcast episode once and uploading it. And okay, you'll do one a week, but it's only one a week. I'm talking about creating your online course once and then selling it as a recorded, immediately consumable course. Um, the best platform for online courses, I believe, is Kajabi. You could also use Patreon if you do a lot of content yourself or you sort of build your personal brand and you want it off-platform. So I don't know if you heard the news, but, um, Donald Trump is launching a new social media platform called Truth. He's going for the big tech. He's trying to break up the monopoly of Facebook. And if you're worried about your reach on Facebook or you know, um, big social channels controlling the algorithm and how you can reach your followers and fans, then having your own platform on Kajabi means you own your own customer data. But 5 online courses a month at $1,000 is $5,000 a month. Now let's start linking this together before I cover the rest. This can all be on the same content. You could— so my mission is to help as many people on this planet start and scale their business and get better financial knowledge. So I want to help people turn their passion into their profession, their mission and message. I want them to propel them to the masses and make millions. And I can run a podcast on starting and scaling your business. In fact, I have two. One's called Disruptive Entrepreneur and one's called Money. I could have a subscription platform on that same content. In fact, I have two. One's called rob.team and one is the Rob Moore Supporter Program. I could run online courses in starting and scaling your business. I have dozens of various courses in my training business. In fact, we do on a bad year £12 million, on a good year £21 million sterling, so $25 million US in selling courses, in selling information. So my podcast, my subscription platform, my courses, my mentoring, my YouTube, my books, my audiobooks my Clubhouse rooms, my Instagram accounts, my, um, Wisdom Rooms. It's all on the same theme. So what I'm doing is repackaging and creating multiple assets from the same information, just at different levels and different levels of detail and depth. So, you know, my free content across all social media is going to be the what you do, um, and then the deep dive masterclasses is going to be the how you do it. And then the mentoring is going to be the implementation of it. So you really can build an amazing business out of information. Okay, number 4 way to create £5,000 a month of income is have one mastermind or mentor client who pays you £5,000. Job done. There you go. Get one client. Now, if you want £5,000 a month, you need 12 clients in the year. Or you can charge your clients more money. So my one-to-one mentoring is £40,000 plus VAT, so that's £48,000, about $60,000. By the way, I've worked that up over 12 years, so it's not like it happened overnight. Um, and I do have plenty of clients who've paid that. That's not a made-up figure. Um, so, you know, one client is— 10 clients is— you can do the maths on that. But what you can do is you can start to have what I call a staircase or an ascension plan. And people in America like to call it the funnel, but I like to be more British and polite about it. I'm not trying to funnel you into anything, I'm trying to ascend you up towards more results. So my free business, entrepreneur, and money-related content can be on Wisdom and Clubhouse and Facebook and Instagram and TikTok and my podcasts. And then you can join my Rob Moore Supporters or rob.team and you can pay $5 a month When you're listening to my podcast, part of my free, um, content, you might hear one ad per episode. In fact, I didn't start ads till after episode 500. I left 3 million on the table not running ads because I'm too British and, uh, I've retired a few times in my life. I didn't need the money, but that was stupid. So, um, and then once you've started on my subscription and you've consumed a bit more of the behind-the-scenes access content Well, then you can invest in a proper masterclass course, which would be $1,000, and then you join a mastermind, which would be $5,000 to $25,000. You could become a one-to-one client, and you can create your own ascension path for your own product or service or passion or business or profession. You can do this. Anyone can do this. All hosted online. You don't have to— like, for example, on Patreon, you don't even have to pay them. You— they just take 12% of the revenue you create. For Kajabi, you just subscribe to them, and then people subscribe to you. And one client might pay for years of subscription on Kajabi. So it's not like building a real estate portfolio where you need to invest tens of thousands just to get into property. All right, number 5 way of creating £5,000 a month. And by the way, I've got an agenda posted on my Instagram stories on this, so if you want the visual aid to what you're hearing from me now, because, you know, the thing about not being able to see the bullet points is it can go in one ear and out the other. So on my Instagram story, you'll see I've only got 2 stories up. It says 7 ways to make $5K per month in the quickest time. I'd go and follow me on Instagram when you get a chance and then just screenshot that. So number 5 is YouTube. So I'm making $1,500 a day right now from one video on YouTube. It's been up 5 days. It's over 500,000 views. It's just gained me 15,000 subscribers in 5 days, and I'm earning $1,500 a day, $45,000 a month from one video on YouTube. Is that normal for me? No. Have I been monetizing YouTube that long? No. We only turned monetization on a few months ago, so I don't know what's wrong with me. I think I need to go to the doctors. I think sometimes when you've made a good living and you've made money, I don't know, but because I'd become a millionaire before age 31, a deca-millionaire before age 35, I spent years on social media not using any of the monetization tools. I maybe thought I was a bit British in asking for money. I maybe thought, oh well, people might judge me. Rob's already a multimillionaire and he's trying to fucking do ads and sell for us on social media and he's always doing pitching. And I must have done 5,000 pieces of content with no monetization tools for years. What a dick. What an absolute dick. There is nothing any of my critics, trolls, haters, punks, or wankers could say about me that would make me think that I'm a bigger dick than I think that I am a dick. For not turning monetization on 5 years ago, I'd be 25 to 35 million richer. I know it for a fact. One video I put on YouTube would have been a 35 grand revenue generator. And so what's the point in not? Why wouldn't I? You know, my team have said to me, there's, there's ads on you, all YouTube videos, so why, why don't you do ads, Rob? There's ads on every freaking podcast, why don't you do ads? If you can't beat them, join them. You know, I'm not making millions out of people telling me how good it is that I'm not running ads, and I'd only— you only get a few people say, oh, it's good that you don't run ads. So I'm making £1,500 a day on my YouTube channel. You can find the video online, it's going viral right now. Um, I've had nearly 10 million views on my TikTok in the last, what, 2 weeks? So if you just keep going with consistency on your social channels, you will get virality. I don't really have that clear a niche. If you do, you'll probably be able to monetize better than me. I'm trying to be, you know, what would be the words? Um, I'm trying to give myself freedom to be a commentator or creator or an influencer across quite a, a broad subject matter, which has its downsides. But 300,000 views on a YouTube channel makes you £5,000 a month, and you can do more than that, by the way, or less views. You just need more ads. Now, that sounds a lot. It's a lot for one video, but it's only £30,000 for 10 videos. It's only £3,000 for 100 videos. You can see where I'm going with this. So I actually see your content as an asset now, but it's only as an asset if you create your content as an asset. So if you go live on Wisdom, which I am currently live on, and there are 29 people on the Wisdom live because it's a brand new app, well, if I only went live on Wisdom and then went live on Wisdom and then ended the room, well, um, that wouldn't be the best use of time of someone who's you know, couldn't use his time better. Let's say I got paid £135,000 for one speech and follow-up, so why would I spend an hour on a wisdom room? But what if it gets recorded? And what if I can use the asset on an ongoing basis? Then it becomes an asset. But what if I'm also live on Facebook at the same time? What if I'm also live on Clubhouse at the same time? What if I'm also doing a podcast at the same time? Now this last 30 minutes— how long are we in now? We're only 18 minutes and 22 2 seconds in, I'm just warming up. These 18 minutes and 22 seconds are now an asset that will last me for 10 years. I've got podcast episodes going back 6 years, and when my podcast is 10 years old, that, that first episode will be 10 years making me money. So if Wisdom blows up, Wisdom, the recording, goes on your profile. So I— this is about my 10th room on Wisdom. Because if it blows up, I've got 10 pieces of content people can listen to. Obviously, I'm live here on Clubhouse and you don't get the recording on Clubhouse, so I want to leverage my time on Clubhouse. And on Facebook, what I can do, I can save the live to my page, but I can now also run in-stream ads and I can have sponsors in my videos if I choose. So what you can do is create a piece of content go live on multiple channels and/or repurpose on multiple channels and turn the same piece of content into multiple streams of income. So as an example, I did a podcast interview with someone, and that did well, um, on my podcast and on my YouTube, but it didn't like set the world on fire. But we got our highest viewed TikTok from a 15-second cut and it did 3.5 million views. And across the edits out of that in the last 2 weeks, we've probably got 7 million views. So repurposing multiple assets from the same piece of content creates multiple streams of income and turns your content into an ongoing, long-standing asset. So 300,000 views on YouTube a month will get you minimum £5,000 a month. It's a lot for one video. It's not a lot if you do 1 to 2 videos a week. That'll soon compound. And by the way, it compounds. So my last 3 TikTok videos, um, the views are quite low, yet I, um, just gained 100 followers in the last hour, and that was from previous videos that are still getting a lot of views. So your old videos mature. Um, I've had some videos go quite viral on Facebook, and I'm looking at some of them and they've got to 100,000 and then they stop. And then I do my latest ones over the last 2 or 3 days and the views are a bit low for me, but I can see some of those older videos are still going. So each piece of content can mature. Facebook, they've got quite a long maturation period now. YouTube is probably the longest maturation period. Podcasts can last for years. A wisdom room or a Clubhouse room, obviously it just finishes when you finish. Okay, number 6 then is if you do 1,500 audiobook sales a month, you should make net £3 out of that after your publisher fees. If you don't have a publisher, you're going to make net £5 probably. So you need 1,500. You need 500— no, you need 1,000 to 1,500 audiobook sales a month to make 5 grand a month net. And, um, anyone can do that with one book sale. But imagine if you had 2 books, 3 books. I've written 18 books. Be like, Rob, why you write so many freaking books? Because I'm still earning passive recurring income from all of them, and I wrote my first one in 2008, and I'm just going to keep writing books, one a year, two a year. I, I did have a goal of writing 50 books by 50, but that would be another 32 books in 7 years. I don't think people can handle 4 to 5 books a year from me, but I am going to write 1 to 2 books a year for sure because it's an asset that creates recurring income. So really, the whole theme of this entire little speech is how do you create 1 grand a month, 5 grand a month, 50 grand a month? The model's the same, it's just the numbers. You know, how you get $1 grand a month on a subscription platform is same as how you get $50 grand a month. It's just more users. But what it is is creating an asset out of content and information that didn't cost you much time or money to create, that you leveraged across all multimedia and you created multiple streams of income from. That's the fundamental architecture beneath this. And then number 7 is if you do 10 story shoutouts at $500, you're at $5 grand a month. Now many people do 4, 5, 10, or more stories per day. And there's someone stood next to me here on this Clubhouse app called Hafiq, who's, um, I've got to know well since Clubhouse, and she's going to get paid way more than $500 a story. So you could get $100 a story, $500 a story, $5,000 a story. It depends on your profile and your following. Um, but to summarize, 500 members on a subscription platform like Patreon or Kajabi is 5 grand a month. A 1,000-and-a-bit downloads a day with advertisers on your podcast is 5,000 a month. 5 online courses at a grand is 5,000 a month. 1 Mentee client at 5 grand is 5 grand a month. £300,000 views on YouTube is £5,000 a month. If you've done 10 videos, that's only £30,000 views a video. 100 videos, it's only £3,000 views a video. £1,500 audiobook sales is net, net, net £1,500 a month. And if you publish yourself, you could probably more like £5 or £6 per audiobook if you don't have a publisher. And then shoutouts across social media. Now, how this all There's two ways this all merges together. Way number one is when you create this content and then repurpose it across multiple channels, then you get leverage of your information and content. And like I said, I'm doing a live demonstration here because I'm live on Clubhouse, live on Wisdom, live on Facebook, and I'm recording a podcast for my Money Podcast. I can also take the recording from my Facebook Live, and I could use that for YouTube, etc., should I choose. The next thing in terms— so there's content repurposing across multiple channels. There's also the same content theme or niche, but just higher levels of detail and support and accountability, taking them from a few pounds a month to a few thousand a month. And I call this, call this the Ascension Plan, the Ascension client journey. And then the third element is knowing how to create these assets that create recurring income. So if you'd love to know how to create all these assets in specific technical step-by-step detail to create multiple streams of recurring income, then I think you need to jump on and join my Recurring Income Summit, and it's coming up in 8 days, so it's coming quite soon, so you need to jump on right now. So what I'm going to do is give you the link if you want to claim a ticket off of me. Now, um, I don't like to do free tickets, or, um, I usually at the very least ask people to make some kind of financial commitment, whether it's they, um, purchase a book and get a ticket with it, or they've paid for my courses before, or they pay for premium seating. If it's— there's a free level and premium level, but You know, I believe free advice is worth every penny, and I believe when you pay, you pay attention. So, um, it's not my normal move to just give away free tickets. However, I've just shared the link robmoore.events on my Facebook, and if you go there right now, I'm going to open up you being able to grab a free ticket to the Recurring Income Summit. Well, let me be more accurate, it's a subsidized ticket by me. I'm paying for your ticket because we don't do free tickets. I'll also donate to my foundation the equivalent of the money that you would have paid for the ticket to help, um, grow my foundation, which is to help young and underprivileged people start meaningful businesses that change the world. And we've raised— we've done 7 figures in charity raises for, for that foundation and my other charities over the years that I've supported. So, um, the link that you need to go to, and you'll need to open a browser and do this now, is robmoore.events, plural. R-O-B-M-O-O-R-E dot E-V-E-N-T-S. So go there right now and you'll see the page, and you can register at the top. There's a yellow registration button. Just go there and register now. I'm looking for 350 people on this event. We've got nearly double that booked. So we will do first come, first serve. First 350 people to log in, in, and then it's shut down, and it'll only be one in, one out from there. Now, I, I believe there are 4 main asset vehicles, and I'll teach you them on the Recurring Income Summit. I believe there are 19 different digital assets and actual assets that create recurring income, and I will teach you them all at the Recurring Income Summit. Get this, I mean, this is, um, one of my biggest pull-offs, I think, other than maybe marrying my wife. I've punched way above my weight there. But, um, I have just agreed the founder of Netflix to speak at one of my recurring income summits. Can you freaking believe that? The founder of Netflix. Netflix have 193 million users, so they make my subscription platform look like Chicken feed. Now, um, I've got two Recurring Income Summit dates coming before the end of the year, and I'm just arranging dates. And so if you end up doing the recurring summit that he's on live, perfect. If you end up doing the Recurring Income Summit where it's not, I'll give you the full recording and we'll play it as a keynote speech. So either way, you won't miss out. Do you know it's not even on the page because it's that hot off the press? I've just literally just bagged this. I've been trying to bag this for months. I thought, who would be the best speaker in the world that I could get for the Recurring Income Summit to teach people to generate recurring income? Founder of Netflix, you know, who else would be better? And I've done it, I've pulled it off. So if you want a ticket to that event, you need to go to the link robmoore.events. Now, if it's easier for you listening on Clubhouse, just DM me the word money and I'll send you the link. If you're faffing around and trying to type that in and you're on Instagram, just DM me the word money and I will send you the link, just if it makes it a bit easier for you. But anyone on any other channel, you're gonna have to just go and open a browser and type in robmoore.events. Now, um, I have got specialists in digital real estate So here's how the Recurring Income Summit is different. It's not teaching business models that takes a year to start making money and costs 100 grand to put money into, like old-school business models. You won't need stock, you won't need overhead, you won't need premises, you won't need staff, you won't need offices. You just need an internet connection, a phone or a laptop, and be able to follow instructions from us. That's the remit from my speakers. I've got the former CEO of BMW, Porsche, and Lamborghini speaking. I've got the global head of Coca-Cola and Disney speaking. I mean, you know, Disney make massive recurring income from their media outlets. People don't know that, but that's huge. Do you know that 64% of Amazon's revenue is their recurring income model of their web server? Most people don't know this, but 64% of all Amazon's profits is from their monthly subscriptions where people pay for hosting services. I mean, maybe I could get Jeff Bezos, maybe that would be a bigger, um, fish to bag. But look, I'm not making a promise of that. So recurring income is where it's at, but you need to build digital assets, digital real estate, online assets. And look, the future— so I'm gonna have people talking about cryptos and NFTs and, you know, the future of creating digital assets. You know, Mark Zuckerberg has just announced that he wants to be heavily involved in the metaverse, Web 3.0, you know, the 3D online universe. So if you want to generate multiple streams of recurring income, you want the recurring income to be passive and relentless, and you want it to be quicker than ever before, you need digital real estate and you need to set up digital assets. And the Recurring Income Summit will give you 4 main vehicles and probably, I don't know, a dozen practical tactics, the how-to of setting up digital real estate. And I'm doing a couple of keynote speeches. In fact, the amazing John Lee is you know, who dominates on social media, is talking to you about leveraging social media to create multiple streams of recurring digital income. And, you know, we'll be talking about subscription revenue and building your own subscription platform and using webinars and online tools and subscription sites that you can leverage to create multiple streams of recurring income. So if you are listening anywhere where you're not on Clubhouse or Instagram then go to robmoore.events right now. R-O-B-M-O-O-R-E.events right now. Go there right now because, um, we've already oversubscribed, so it'll be first come, first serve. Anyone who does it from, um, this little masterclass I've done, I'll upgrade you to a premium ticket, which gives you a couple of bonus slots and some extra material, and I'll cover the fee of your ticket. So go there right now. And just don't wait because this is probably one of the best events I think we run, and I've run 850 events a year on average for the last 4 years before the lockdown. So 3,200 events in 4 years, and I believe this to be one of our best events. I've got some big surprises and things coming, like I've got a speaker worth $700 million who's going to keynote at the Recurring Income Summit. Yeah, just sort of drop that in there. So that's a pretty special event. So go to robmoore.events right now.
