9 Steps to a 9 Figure (Info) Business (From Scratch)

Rob Moore outlines a nine-step framework for building a nine-figure information business over 18 years. The steps move from choosing a niche and building a value ladder, to using free social platforms for promotion, automating delivery with tools like Kajabi, and creating passive income streams. He emphasizes minimal overhead and the ability to scale with the right systems.

9 steps to a 9-figure information business live, and I'm going to prove it. So I am actually doing a live Zoom right here to my Money School members on how to build a 9-figure information business, which means 100+ mil. Now look, I'm not saying you're going to do that in a week or a month or a year. I'm just telling you that I've done it. And I'm going to share with you just exactly how I did it in the 9 steps. I have got 9 S's, and I'm going to share those with you right now. Now, just to let you know again what I'm doing here, I'm actually doing a 3-hour deep dive Zoom masterclass inside money.school right now. They're watching me do this live right now, live. So we're definitely, um, Inception. We're live, live, live, and some people are on the live Inside Money School or on this live. So, um, what I'm going to do is a summary, the 9 S's of the 3-hour masterclass. I'm live here inside money.school just to show that you can do it too. So let's just first off get this straight. I'm not guaranteeing you're going to do 250 to 300 M, mil, in sales and information. I'm just telling you that's what I've done. But you could do 6 figures or 7 figures And there are 9 S's that I figured out over 18 years. So are you ready? And make sure you stay for this. And if this lands and works, make sure you share it. Okay, so the first S is you need your subject. So you need to nail your niche and sort your subject. Now it doesn't really matter because I started my membership site 15 years ago in property, and it's now on its 6th iteration. It's called Money School. So it just matters that you start. So the first S is the subject matter. The second S is the staircase, and the staircase is starting for free, then a book, then a membership site, then an online course, then a masterclass live face-to-face course, then a mastermind, then mentoring, then renewals, and then an agency. And my products go from £5 to £55 grand. And what you want is about 7 to 9 steps in your staircase. The Americans call it a funnel. I think that's a dirty word. I'm never squeezing anyone down a funnel. I'm guiding them up a staircase. Now what you do is you start with 2, your free content like this, and then your first platform. So for example, Money School is my first platform. And then you build up the staircase over time. Okay, so the third S is what I call sexification, and that is instead of bland, boring, and vanilla benefits and features, you look at your offer— so my offer is money.school— and you SAFO it, sexy as fuck offer it. So you put it through a sexy as fuck filter, um, and you make it so wildly compelling that people would pay double or triple. So for example, money.school is less than 50p a day, but there's hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses in it, including the one I'm doing here live, which is a 3-hour live masterclass on how to go to 9 figures in information, 9 Steps to 9 Figures. Okay, the fourth S then is you've got to start it and sell it. So, um, the reason I say to you your niche is not the most important thing is because let's say you start teaching people to play chess, but then they want to learn checkers, then they want to play Risk, then they all want to meet, and then they want to do other games, and then they want to go paintballing, and then they all want to join the military. Now I know that sounds a bit— but like, things change and evolve. My friend has a channel called Entrepreneurs in Cars, and now he's teaching people how to be men, and that's just kind of evolved. So you start and you sell with a founder member offer or a test offer. And then once you've got some members, you ask them what they want, you give them more of what they want, and then it evolves over time. Okay, the fifth S is social media. So this is Facebook. I might even take this and put it on X and repurpose it. I might put it on YouTube. But you can promote, pitch, position— the 3 Ps: promote, pitch, position content— on one or two or multiple channels. Social media is free. It's costing me nothing to do this live. We're all connecting here without even leaving our house. We didn't have to pay any money to go to events. And so people get bored on social media. Rob says do more social media. You've got to put more content on social media. But I have nearly 13,000 lifetime members inside Money.School and every single one of them, bar maybe 5% referrals, I found on social media. So do a Facebook Live, do an X Live, do a TikTok Live, do an Instagram Live. Try a few and then double down on, on what works best for you. Maybe LinkedIn works best for you, and it's free and you can reach millions of people. Okay, the sixth S then is scale. So the way you scale is you do a live on Facebook and then you repurpose it on X and you put it on YouTube and You can put it on LinkedIn and you can repurpose it. Sometimes I can turn one piece of content into 40. I mean, I'm doing a Facebook Live here and I'm live inside money.school live. So you can scale by building a community. We've got nearly 13,000 lifetime members in Money School. You can scale by getting case studies. We've got thousands of case studies. Now what you do is you start now and you get perfect later and you build it out. Okay, so the 7th S is simplify. So this is 9 steps to a 9-figure information business, taking my 18 years of experience and simplifying it into 9 S's. Now when you start content, you're going to go, blah, this is what I know, blah, this is what I've read, blah. And everyone's like, okay, fine, yeah, some useful stuff in here, but, uh, but then over time you're going to simplify it. So my 9 S's: Subject, Staircase, Sexify, Start, Social Media, Scale, Simplify, and then the 8th S is Systemize. So if you use AI, um, and you use software, and so I use Kajabi instead of having to write my own membership platform, getting some tech developers for Money School. So Money School is built on Kajabi, and I use Zoom to record all of my content. I'm here live on Zoom. So just those two pieces of software help me systemize Money School, um, because for me, Money School is a few hours a week, um, but if I have 12,000 members or 12 million members, it's still the same amount of time if I use software and systems. Okay, and then the bonus S I'm actually going to do live inside Money School, because what the bonus S does, the 9th S, is it creates recurring income and passive income instead of just active income and occurring income. And if you want to turn occurring income into recurring income and active income into passive income, I recommend you come and join Money School. And actually, we're live in it now. So inside money.school, there's hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses to make, manage, and multiply money. I mean, I'm just doing this on my old iPhone. It's still dented and cracked. My laptop's about 7 years old. I could start— this business is free. It doesn't cost me any money. Doesn't have to cost you any money. All right, might maybe a bit of hosting, um, but if you want to turn content to cash flow, information into income, if you want to turn what you already know into cash flow and you want hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses like this 3-hour 9-step to 9 figures in information, join Money School now. All those problems of an old-school business you don't need in a, in a modern business. Um, so that's why I think information is the best, and Money School Most of the business models are information-based. So if you've got no money and not much time, you can start this on a few hours a week and maybe hit 5 or 10 grand a month in 5 or 10 hours a week. So the link to join is money.school. Just type in money.school right now into any web page. I've got to go now because I've got to actually go back to my live course, but I'm doing a demo here for them. But we've got content on leveraging AI for reducing cost and increasing speed and revenue. We've got courses on investing in gold and silver. Um, uh, there's a 3-hour Money Mastery series. There's a 15-hour Money Mastermind University if you're not very good at making money and you want to get better at that.
