ADHD is NOT Real (PROOF)

Rob Moore argues ADHD is a label created by pharmaceutical companies, not a real condition. He wrote 19 business books and made $250 million on topics he cared about, but struggles with subjects he dislikes. Will.i.am calls his ADHD a superpower.

ADHD, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, does not exist, and I believe I can prove it. Now, I recently had a conversation with one of the most famous people alive today, and he had a reframe on ADHD, and I'm going to share it with you in a moment. But a lot of people like to own a label to excuse themselves of their failings. The entire medical pharmaceutical industry loves to label you with a disorder so they can profit by giving you drugs. I believe ADHD does not exist. Here's why. If we look at what ADHD— actually, wait, just before I let you know this, um, this world-famous person that I had an in-depth conversation with about ADHD, I actually have something really exciting to announce at the end of this video. It'll be super quick, but stay with me to the end because he's freaking awesome, and you'll love what I'm about to share with you. Okay, so let me ask you this: do you have attention deficit in shit you're not interested in? Give me a yes in the comments. Like, do you find it really hard to concentrate on things that bore you when you're getting lectured, when you have no passion about something? Give me a yes in the comments. If you have attention deficit in these areas? Because I'm going to argue that's everyone. Now let me flip that. If you believe you do have ADHD or you find it hard to concentrate, can you focus and concentrate on something you love to do, that you're passionate about, that you're inspired by? I believe anyone can focus on what they're most inspired and passionate about. Now, Maria said, of course, we all do. Well, in that case, there is no such thing as attention deficit disorder. There is only I don't like this disorder. I'll give you an example. You can have kids at school with a shit teacher, not taught very well the subject, pushed in school by their parents, they can't concentrate at all on this subject and lesson. But give them a computer game and they can focus for 24 hours straight without food, without rest. So they actually don't have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, they're just not fucking interested. But it doesn't serve the pharmaceutical industry to say, oh no, don't worry, there's no, um, fault, therefore you don't need a cure, therefore there's nothing wrong with you, therefore we can't label you, therefore we can't profit from you. They need to give you a label to tell you that you are broken, to diagnose you. Now Georgina has just said, have you been diagnosed with ADHD? I— other than a physical ailment like a broken arm, you know, or something physical. Other than that, emotional and mental, you can't diagnose me. I am not diagnosable because there's nothing wrong with me, because I am not broken. So if you want to create attention order, get involved in things you're passionate and inspired about. Now here's what society does. Society judges your attention on their values. So for example, I teach entrepreneurs how to start and scale their business. I teach people how to make, manage, and multiply money. And I have taught millions of people. I've got 3 million followers just on social media. And at first I used to think, well, you know, these people, they can't focus on making money because they're getting distracted. The reality is the difference between those who focus on making money and those that don't are those that are most interested in making money can focus on it, and those that are least interested in money can't focus on it and get distracted by it. Now, um, I just discussed this in detail with Will.i.am. Give me a yes in the comments if you love Will.i.am, if you think he's a legend. Give me a yes in the comments if you'd like access to my live episode with with Will.i.am coming literally in the next few hours. Give me a yes in the comments, I'll share the link. By the way, I'm also thinking about giving away a special event with the episode where you can pitch me for money, because Will.i.am is an entrepreneur, um, he is an investor. So I was thinking about, you know what, come and listen or watch the Will.i.am episode, and what I'll probably do— I haven't decided yet, but what I might do, probably do is allow you to pitch me for money. I'll do a special event where you can pitch me for money and I'll give money away. So give me a yes in the comments if you like the sound of all of that, and I'll share the link with you when it goes live. Okay, so I was talking about this with Will.i.am, and what Will.i.am said is this. He said, my ADHD is my superpower. So the pharmaceutical industry wants you to think you're broken and there's something wrong with you, with having ADHD, and therefore you need to get addicted to medication for the rest of your life so that you can make them profit. But Will.i.am believes it's his superpower. So every downside has an upside. So if you believe ADHD is real, if you believe you struggle with ADHD, if you've been diagnosed with ADHD, you absolutely need to listen to this episode I've just done with Will.i.am. Who in a way he believes he's got it, but he says it's his superpower. It's the very thing that's made him a successful entrepreneur, an investor, a creator, a musician, a multi-millionaire. So imagine being able to turn what society believes is your weakness into the thing that makes you the success. So give me a yes in the comments if you want access to that episode, if you want access to maybe being able to pitch me for money I'll share the link with you. Now, the reason I don't believe that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a thing is because I believe you have attention deficit in things you're not interested in, but I believe you have attention surplus in things you are. I don't think there's anything wrong with you. I think you should have attention deficit disorder in shit you're not interested in, because otherwise you'll just get distracted and pulled everywhere. So the reason Will.i.am says that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is actually a superpower is because it makes him have attention surplus order in what he loves to do. So you have attention deficit disorder in shit you're not interested in and attention surplus order in things you are interested in. That's why kids will play computer games for 24 hours straight. That's why kids aren't interested in school with shit teachers. So if you actually want to overcome this, and this struggle you might have with what you believe to be mild autism or attention deficit disorder, you don't need medication. It's just gonna fucking ruin you. What you need is to find out what you love to do, to find out what you're most inspired by, and go and chase that. And you'll find that you can have attention surplus order in that area, and need to let go of all the other shit that you're doing that society tells you you should do, that school tells you you should do, that the teachers and the banks and the governments tell you you should do. You should only do the things that are highest on your values. And actually, attention deficit disorder is really good feedback to tell you that you should not be focusing on this because it's not important to you. And that you should be focusing on something else that is more important to you. Because here's the thing, if you label, if you say, "Hey, yep, I've got attention deficit hyperactivity disorder because society and pharmaceutical industry told me to," therefore you immediately quit. You immediately concede that you cannot help it and you are a victim. And the only way, the only way to overcome this is to take drugs for the rest of your life. So you create a label that's been made up by someone else for their motives, you own it, and then you disown responsibility in your life. Now many of you are saying you agree and some of you are saying you disagree. Please let me know in the comments what you agree with. Please let me know in the comments what you disagree with. I'm open to everyone's opinion, by the way. I'll have a good discussion about this. I don't need everyone to agree with me. This is my opinion and my experience. I really— like, let me pause myself and rewind. Um, I've done more than $250 million in sales. I've written 19 books. Um, I have 340 rental units, so I can concentrate and focus on writing books about money and business because I've written 19 of them. If I, um, if I was tasked to write books about gender ideologies or veganism, I could not even get one written. Absolutely not. I could not get one written. Now, Alan has said, Rob, you're wrong, ADHD is actually over-focusing. ADHD is called attention deficit, not attention surplus, Alan. Attention deficit. So you have attention deficit in things that you're not inspired by. You have attention surplus in things you are inspired by. I challenge everyone in this watching now— by the way, if you agree with this, please share this, because we cannot allow labels to make us into victims, and we shouldn't keep making the pharmaceutical industry billions of pounds. So anyone in— who's watching now, I challenge you, if you've got— if you believe you've got ADHD, think about something you can focus on, because I bet you can. Anyone who labels themselves with the attention deficit can focus on something. And as soon as you can find one thing you can focus on, you've proven you haven't got attention deficit disorder. You've got attention surplus order in what you find important to you. So give me a yes in the comments if you would like to gain access to the interview I did with Will.i.am. Will.i.am went into detail about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. He actually believes it's his superpower. So he's saying that what the pharmaceutical industry and society are labeling as bad, he believes has made him successful and is good. Now I believe everything is both bad and good, has equal upside and downside. It just depends on how you perceive it. So if you perceive attention deficit hyperactivity disorder as bad, you will manifest it as bad. If you perceive it as good, you will manifest it as good. I am the worst at concentration at shit I'm not interested in. I couldn't concentrate in school at geography, which was geography and French that I was taught, but fuck me, do I love business. I broke the world record for the longest public speech, 47 and a half hours talking about business, finance, and money. I couldn't talk about fucking gender ideologies for more than 5 minutes without getting bored. Um, Georgina said, Rob, just because you can focus on something but not other stuff doesn't mean you may have ADHD. That's a very skewed view. Georgina, let me know what you mean by that. Like I said, I'm up for your discussions. And also, in addition to my view, would you like to hear Will.i.am's view? Because by the way, I'm very successful in business. Will.i.am is very successful in music. And people would say to me, Rob, you can't sit still. Rob, you've got ADHD. Well, if I've got it, I've turned it into $250 million in sales. If Will.i.am has got it, He's turned it into being one of the most successful musicians on the planet. Most people who are labeling themselves with it are failing because they only see the downside, and that's why I believe it doesn't exist. And even if you disagree with me, isn't my viewpoint more empowering? Isn't it more— if you're going to label yourself as something, surely you should label yourself as positive. So if I'm going to label myself, I'm going to say I've got attention surplus order. Not attention deficit disorder. Because fuck you, drugs companies, I don't want to buy your fucking drugs, which might— where they give to me, they'll take me away. So give me a yes in the comments if you want access to the Will.i.am episode. I'm really excited about this. ADHD is my superpower. Is what Will.i.am said. I will say that ADHD is a superpower that has helped me make hundreds of millions in sales. I would say that anything you label yourself that's not positive damages you. So if you want to label yourself ADHD, you've got to label it in the positive, not the negative, because you become what you identify with. Like, like what you believe you are, you are. If you think you can or you think you can't, you're right. So surely we should be labeling ourselves in a positive, empowering, inspired way, not in a negative way. And be careful, the label that you're owning of yourself, is it a label you want to label yourself, or is it a label that society and Big Pharma wants you to label yourself? Let me know in the comments what you think. Hit the share button if you agree with what I've said, or part of what I've said, and even if you disagree with me, hit the share button. Let's thrash out the conversation. I might not be right about all this. You might be able to teach me some stuff. At least I'm firing up the conversation. I'm not going to shoot anyone down in the comments who disagrees with me. I'm going to be open-minded to learning more shit, which is what most people should be. And Will.I.Am episode is dropping in a few hours. I might even give away a load of cash or do a pitch me, uh, live event. So let me know in the comments if you want access to the Will.I.Am episode and if you want access to be able to maybe pitch me for money. Thanks for tuning in, would love your thoughts. And Alan has said, Rob, do more research. That's kind of not helpful, Alan. That's what people who don't really have an open mind— ah, do more research, check your facts. You remember when Donald Trump just went, check your facts. How do you know how much research I've done? Just because I don't agree with you, does that mean I haven't done any research? Maybe I've done 17 years of research. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I'm wrong. So instead of saying, Rob Moore research, why don't you share your research with me? Why don't you try and educate me? I'm open-minded to be educated. Now here's the thing, and agree or disagree, I believe nothing is real unless you make it real. Like, what you're not thinking about now is not real. The only thing that is real to you is what you're thinking about now. Now, we are either unconsciously controlled by past habits and behaviors and indoctrination by society and upbringing and media, unconsciously getting triggered and bringing up the past and making that real to ourselves now. That's either happening, or we're consciously in control of what we think and feel. So the only thing that's real is what you think and feel. So if you could be in control of what you think and feel, then you can make what you want real to you. So let me ask you this: do you want to have ADHD? Do you want that to be a weakness? And do you want to be paying £100 a month in medication for the rest of your life? Which, by the way, if you think medication will cure you, you are wrong. Medication will change you. I'm not saying all medication is bad. If it stops suicide, it can be good. But my dad has been on medication for 20 years for bipolar disorder, and medication isn't good. Medication is equally good and bad. And medication, maybe it has stopped my dad from suicide, but it's definitely completely wiped out his entire personality as well. So I do have experience in this. Georgina has said my opinion may be based on my own views. Um, yours is too, Georgina. Everybody's opinion is based on our own views. However, I try and transcend my own views and look at it globally, i.e., yeah, okay, I have a belief, Georgina, and I do, and that's my experience, but can I transcend myself and look at commonalities in humanity? And I try my best to do this, and I try my best to be balanced, and I try my best to disprove my own theories. So just so you know, I, you know, by the way, I've never done a post like this in 17 years, but I think about it on a weekly basis. So please don't think I'm just ranting and being flippant. Please don't think I'm saying that no one should ever take medication, because, you know, I know people who've been on the verge of suicide and medication has stopped them from suicide. That's good. But does that person want to or need to be on medication for the rest of their lives? No, no. Anyway, let me know what you think. Is ADHD real? Is ADHD real? I don't think it's real. Will.i.am thinks it's a superpower. What do you think? And would you like access to my special new live interview with Will.i.am himself, one of the most successful musicians on the planet? And also, if I can get it done in time, a big special gift and bonus from me where I might allow you to pitch to me because Will.i.am is an investor as well, uh, and maybe get some money off me. Let me know what you think in the comments. Give me a yes if you'd like access to this. Now, here's interesting— on the spectrum, like, people say, ah, they're on the spectrum all the time. What they actually mean is they're different to me and that they're a different point in the spectrum to me. People call me on the spectrum all the time, but people who are like me don't think I'm on the spectrum. People who are like me think other people at the other end of the spectrum are on the spectrum. But we're all on the spectrum! We're just in different parts of the spectrum. Doesn't make it wrong. Anyway, if you think I've made some useful points, or if you think I've made some bullshit points and you want to challenge me, please hit the share button because let's at least have this start the conversation in an open way. And remember, I'm never going to shoot you— well, I might shoot you down if you talk shit to me, um, but I actually won't block you or cancel you. I, I am open to all of your expressions and opinions. I encourage it. Let's fire up this conversation because it's really fucking important. Because here's the thing, I ultimately believe that you— if you're going to label yourself, that label should be empowering. So I believe I'm an entrepreneur. I I believe I'm a millionaire maker. I believe I'm a mover and shaker and game changer and change maker. I believe I'm a positive inspiration on the planet. Now those labels might be wrong, by the way, and my haters might disagree, but those labels work for me. But, oh, I've got ADHD, therefore I fucking knew why I was a failure my whole life because society told me I'm an ADHD. Give me those pills and help me cure myself. That's a terrible label to be given. Bestow upon yourself, because you're immediately doomed to failure. Let me know what you think in the comments. Give me a yes if you want access to more of this content from Will.i.am himself. Thanks for tuning in. Will.i.am says ADHD is a superpower. I say it's a label. Thanks for tuning in, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything, including risking sharing this content. Because if we don't speak out about these things, nothing changes. I just snorted then. We need to push back against governments, central banks, Big Pharma, because these, these big powerhouses, they're all corporations for profit. They're fucking controlling us and they're dumbing down society, and that's just danger. So remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. Thanks for tuning in. Thanks for enjoying my rant.
