AI is Coming For Your Job!

In this urgent monologue, Rob Moore warns viewers about both the dangers and the opportunities presented by AI. He begins with a historical analogy—how steel enabled trains, which in turn facilitated train robberies—to illustrate that every technology brings benefits and new risks. Moore then highlights the proliferation of AI‑driven scams and fake social‑media accounts impersonating him, urging audiences to stay vigilant. He argues that AI will inevitably eliminate many lower‑paid, lower‑skill jobs, but that those who learn to leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Grok, automation software) can gain a massive competitive edge. Moore stresses the importance of balancing automation with personal authenticity: while back‑office tasks, research, and content generation can be AI‑augmented, personal branding and human interaction should remain untouched. He shares concrete results from his own company—about 100 staff, 33,000 saved man‑hours, 17 staff reductions, and a seven‑figure AI investment—detailing what worked, what didn’t, and how a dentist client uses AI for operation manuals. Finally, he invites viewers to a free live Zoom masterclass (robmoore.live/sunday) where his two AI experts will dive deeper into the tools, processes, and strategies, and he asks the audience to consider whether AI is net good or net bad for humanity.

Huge warning about AI. Now, this is urgent. There's a lot of scams out there around AI, of course. But then there's a longer-term consequence of AI. Of course, there's also opportunity. Just going to share a couple of thoughts about that. Something that I think is really important that you get on quick and you really understand about AI. Because I don't think really people understand the true upsides or the true downsides of AI. Also, there's quite a lot of scams running around on social media, but on my accounts, um, which I just want to just warn you about at the end as well. Okay, so, um, when steel was developed, it created rail, and then of course rail created train journeys. And of course that's great for speed and convenience for travel, but it made it a lot easier for train robbers. Or there was no train robbery before a train. But number one, a robber could get on a train, stop at a city, steal from the town or city, get back on the train, go to the next town, steal from the town, steal from town to town to town. And actually rail and trains made it much easier for train robbers. And also they could just get on the train, go into first class, and nick from all the rich people. So obviously steel has been great for creating cars and trains and planes. Massive net benefit positive to humanity, but there are also downsides. And this is the same with all tech and all innovation. And it's really important to understand this and to get a good balanced perspective and understand what the downsides are and the upsides. So with AI, there's been quite a lot of scams on my social media accounts. So I have the blue ticks. I do have more than one account, Rob Moore, Rob Moore Disruptors, Rob Moore Money. But, you know, I have the blue ticks. It's clear what are my official accounts and not. Um, and there have been thousands of fake accounts on social media around me. So you've gotta watch out for scams, fake accounts. You know, if, if you think about AI makes it easier to outsource information, but the downside is people are gonna lose jobs. AI makes it easier for speed, but then the slow get wiped out. By the way, this is called evolution. This has always been the case. And it will always be the case. So my question to you is, number one, are you embracing and leveraging AI? Like, are you using ChatGPT properly or Grok properly? Are you using it to replace some of your admin tasks? Are you using it for deep research? Are you figuring out what software you can use to automate processes to create leverage, scale, automation, process, speed, ease. Because if you're not, you are getting left behind. Now, will AI wipe out a load of jobs? Yes, it will wipe out relatively lower-paying, relatively lower-skilled jobs. It will absolutely wipe them out for sure. Now, the good thing about that is if you run an AI-based firm, you are probably making a killing. And if you leverage and figure out the systems, the software, the processes, and the tools for AI, which is just like learning any new tech. It's like getting your iPhone and learning how apps work. It's like initially getting the internet and figuring out how it works. It's like using social media for the first time and figuring out how it works. A lot of people don't get into it because they're just scared that they don't know how to use it, or they feel a bit overwhelmed. But, you know, every winner was once a beginner. Every master was once a disaster. So Bill Gates just recently said that there's gonna be a probably 2-day work week. So I think this is actually really bad. And a huge downside of AI, especially like if you use LinkedIn, for example, everyone's writing posts with AI, everyone's commenting on AI, and it's creating complete depersonalization. And you don't even know if you're talking to the person anymore. So I am not automating everything. I am automating what can be automated and keeping personal what is personal. This is me on this video. This is not an AI. So I will never automate my personal brand. I will never AI-ify my content, my personal brand, the things that make my company personal. I will just AI and automate everything else to enable me to scale and grow that brand. So, Patek Philippe and Rolex are not making AI watches, but they are making bespoke one-of-ones and collabs with celebrities and selling these watches for hundreds of thousands of pounds. So, actually, the big upside in AI is not just the automation, it's the opposite. It's the when not to use AI, where to personalize, where to create bespoke, where to connect with the human. Because every downside has an upside and vice versa. So let me know in the comments, yes, if you kind of want a bit more further knowledge on AI, and if you're going to commit to embracing it, even if you're not really sure what to do yet. Now, I'd recommend you just get ChatGPT and get Grok and start using it and playing with it and seeing how it all works. And then, of course, you'll figure out how to create images. And the more you use AI, the more tools you find. And it's something that we've been testing in our company now for about 3 years. So I have about 100 staff in my company, and we've figured out a way to save about 17 staff and about 33,000 man hours with various different AI tools, software, using a couple of AI agencies. We've tested loads of shit that didn't work that we were sold and told would. We figured out some things that do work. We're still trying to be personal, um, and not have the downsides of AI. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna share all this with you on a live Zoom should you choose to jump on it. So we're doing an AI masterclass. I'm getting my two top AI experts in my firm, and they're gonna talk about how we saved 33,000 hours, how we saved 17 staff, um, and the seven figures we've invested into AI, where we've invested it, The few things that have worked, the many things that haven't, haven't through trial and error. And so you can essentially leverage, you know, my thousands of man hours and millions in investments into AI. So if you'd like to learn how to do all this, the link is robmoore.live/sunday. That's robmoore.live/sunday. Sunday. I wonder if you can guess what day the Zoom is on. The Zoom will be live with me. It won't be created by AI. Some of the research I'll use AI for. Now, I, I've had, you know, expensive editors for books and content and researchers. I don't need them anymore. I use AI. So that's a great area where you can leverage AI content, help with your content creation, help with your content research, um, help with your software, your systems, your processes, your manuals. One of my clients is a dentist and she's using AI to create her, um, operations manuals in her business. So AI is freaking great and it's definitely going to wipe out a load of lower-paying jobs, but you just need to know, okay, that's where I use AI and then this is where I do the opposite. So we're going to cover all that stuff on the Zoom. So the link to the Zoom is Rob Moore www.robmorrison.live/sunday. You know, I know more than the average about AI, but I'm not the top tech expert. That's why I brought my two top tech experts in, my head of innovation and one of my tech twins, you know, who are on the ground using AI every day. And like I said, we've, you know, a lot of people, AI's really new. And so a lot of people are just jumping on it and make out that they know what they're talking about when they've been using it for 5 minutes. You know, we've been testing all sorts of software and agencies and programs and systems for for 3 years, we've invested like more than a million quid in companies and software and testing. You know, we have 100 staff and, you know, we look at, okay, where can we not need to hire more staff? If staff leave, how can we use AI to not replace them? And how can we avoid overreliance on people? But also, where do we need the people and where does it give us the edge with having the people? You wouldn't follow me if all my content was AI. So the anti-opportunity in AI, like the train robbers on the trains, is actually knowing where not to use it where everyone else is using it. I don't use AI for content on LinkedIn. So many people are and they're just getting no reach now. No one wants to engage with an AI bot. So anyway, we'll cover all this on the Zoom. The link is robmoore.live/sunday. And you can ask questions as well when you come on the Zoom. I think whatever level you're at using AI, I think you'll get some benefit from jumping on the Zoom because I already have the account, I already pay for it. I don't need to charge you for this. So yeah, quick question for you then. Do you think AI is net good or net bad for humanity? Can you see where AI can create a great problem? For example, I think this Bill Gates saying there's going to be a 2-day work week. I think humanity risk becoming useless. We risk giving control to machines. We've seen the prediction of this in the sci-fi movies. That is a real risk. The other downside risk of AI is it makes everything so depersonalized. Like if you use AI to do all your outbound calls, no one's going to answer in the end. So you have to be selective about which calls you use AI for. You have to be selective about which tools you use AI for marketing and which you use a human. So do you think AI net good or net bad for humanity? Would love your thoughts. Let me know in the comments. And the link to join the AI Masterclass is robmoore.life/sunday. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
