Are Inflation & Tax Theft? ⛔️

In this video Rob Moore argues that inflation and taxation are forms of theft perpetrated by governments and central banks. He explains how monetary policy—particularly quantitative easing and debt‑financed money printing—dilutes the value of citizens’ money, and how governments use high inflation to reduce the real burden of their trillions of debt. Moore then critiques the tax system, describing it as an involuntary levy that funds wars, bloated civil service, and a massive middle‑man operation that pays contractors and politicians rather than public services. He highlights the paradox that governments can legally trade insolvently, whereas private corporations would face criminal penalties for the same behavior. To protect themselves, Moore advises viewers to become financially decentralized: start side‑hustles, form businesses, and manage tax affairs to lower effective tax rates. He promotes his digital platform, Rob.team, which offers masterclasses, courses, and a community aimed at helping people start and scale businesses, reduce tax liabilities, and generate income through AI, real‑estate, and content monetisation. The video concludes with a call to share the message and a reminder that avoiding risk means risking everything.

Inflation and tax are actually theft of your money, and I'm going to explain in this video the government's rules that the mass populace don't get the same benefit from, and what the government intend to do with your money and a solution to how you can avoid the theft of inflation and tax as much as you can. So if you think about money, we're supposed to trust that our money is stored well and retains its value. Money actually is supposed to be an efficient store of value. It's supposed to be better than meat that rots or, um, what we make that we can lose or get stolen. Money is supposed to be an efficient store of value, except the government can erode the value of your money. Like, they can literally steal parts of it from you for their own benefit. This is called inflation. Now, inflation started as theft of money. You had a gold coin, 99.9% gold, and you trusted that that was 99.9% gold. And then someone put some lead in it and started debasing it and stole parts of that gold. It was fraud. And now you could argue that the high inflation due to undersupply of products and services, due to lack of proper fiscal and monetary policy and management. You could argue that high inflation is a theft of your money. Now, because the government use high inflation essentially to pay off their own debt They're stealing money off you to pay their own debt. What they'll often do is what's called quantitative easing. They will print more money under the guise of creating economic growth, but in reality, printing more money erodes the value of their trillions of debt— $31 trillion in the US, nearly £3 trillion in the UK. So they behind the scenes are able to pay off their own debt by printing more money, which reduces the value of your money, which is supposed to be a secure store of value, but it's not. So really what we're— what's happening is now is the government are controlling the devaluation and debasement of money, which ruins the value of your money, but it doesn't affect them because they can just print more of it and they manage the money supply. Well, The central banks manage the money supply. The central banks and the governments are supposed to be independent, but I don't think that they are. So you can no longer now trust that your money is stable and that your money will not go down in value. You can no longer trust that your money is a good store of value. Now here's the next thing. A corporation, if it is knowingly in debt and won't pay off its debt and trades knowingly in debt, that's called trading insolvently. And you can get struck off as a director, or worse, you can go to prison for fraud. Whereas the government have created their own rules whereby they can trade insolvently and they can just keep stealing billions off you to pay their national debt. So one of the reasons why inflation and tax are theft is because the government debt, which is pretty much 3 trillion, must consume tens or hundreds of billions in interest, and they charge you in the form of tax to pay off their interest. Trading insolvently knowingly, which they would put you in prison for but they can do legally. So they thieve money off you in tax and they thieve the value of your money, inflation, to continue to pay their trillions of debt that they've mismanaged. Now to be fair, not the current government, the last government before, before, before, before. They're just building up legacy of debt. But no one yet has come in and gone, wait a minute, we've got to control this debt and start getting it down. And no politician has found a way of getting the debt down without stealing money off us in the form of more increased taxation. So then that moves us on to taxation. Give me a like if you're finding this video and content useful. So tax is theft because we don't want to pay it, we didn't agree to pay it, and we're forced to pay it. And anything I don't want to pay and I don't agree to pay and I'm forced to pay, in my view, is theft of my money. Now traditionally, tax was used to finance wars. Well, I don't want to pay for a war because I don't want to be in a war. You know when governments generate billions or trillions and they finance in a war, how do they pay for the war? By paying corporations who sell military equipment and weapons back to the government. The government have become the worst buyer and the richest middleman that I've ever seen in the history of the world. So they're supposed to use this tax for improving the NHS, improving the roads, the services, our security, our liberty. But actually what they do is they take it, they pay far too many staff. There's way too many staff and people in politics. They pay themselves as a careerist. They add virtually no value. They push paper and create thousands of pages of policy that no one understands, like the tax code. The tax code is one of the most complicated policies out there. There must be hundreds of thousands of people involved in creating and maintaining the tax code. Completely unnecessary spending of money. Why don't you just wipe that and have a flat 20% tax? Oh, because then these thousands of careerist politicians would be out of a job. So they take your money, which is supposed to go into the services, they pay themselves and way too many staff, and they pay off all the, the interest in the debt that they've got in the trillions. Then there's not enough left. And then here's the thing with the services like the NHS and like the roads and like rail and everything else. They then pay contractors to do those jobs. So they're taking this massive margin in the middle. They are literally the richest middleman you have ever met. Complete waste of money. And I believe that entrepreneurs and the private sector are way better at allocating resources and funds. They have to be because they have to make profit, whereas governments don't have to make profit. Governments can legally trade insolvently. So they take all this money, they spend most of it, they spend a little bit on services, they put it to private contractors anyway, they choose the contractors badly, they waste the money, or they get paid. Like, do you remember the PPE equipment? Michelle Mone is currently accused of essentially winning a contract using her government influence. To generate hundreds of millions for a company she owns. I mean, I don't know if she's guilty, so I can't say that she is, but certainly some of that stuff seems to go on. So they are the world's richest middleman, but they do the job poorly. They are a sub-subcontractor, and they sub-subcontract really badly. So do you know that two-thirds of what you spend and what you earn is tax. I pay 52% tax when you take off corp and income. There's VAT on top, so 20% VAT rising to 25% corporation, 45% plus income. There's business rates, there's national insurance and everything else. So when you factor what I earn and then what I spend and then what I sell, it's two-thirds to three-quarters in tax. So you're working two-thirds to three-quarters of your entire life for the government to mismanage your money, to pay off their trillions of debt, to ruin our services. There's always roadworks. You can't get in the NHS. This is absolute madness, and this is only going to get worse as inflation gets higher and debt gets higher. So here's the thing: if you are not in control of your own finances, then you are at the the beck and call of the theft of the government through inflation and tax. So here's what you need to do. You need to manage your own tax affairs. There's only one way to do that. You need to increase your income streams. You need to be decentralised. You need to free yourself as much as you can from the system. You can't fully, but as much as you can. I'm not saying be off-grid and kill your own food and create your own electricity in the Amazon rainforest somewhere. But there are ways where you can decentralise yourself, diversify yourself, and make, manage, and multiply your own money and be in control of your own taxation, etc. And the way that you do that is by starting a side hustle or becoming an entrepreneur, because the only way you can get your tax bill down is by being an entrepreneur. The only way. When you're employed, they take it first and you get what's left. When you're an entrepreneur, you take in VAT, which you pay back once a quarter, And so at least you can have cash flow. You can't do anything with it, but you can at least have cash flow and you might earn some interest. And then you can run all your expenses through and get your corporation tax bill down, and you can manage how you draw your income so you don't draw it all fully as income and pay the 45% income tax. You can't fully get rid of that, and I actually don't mind paying some taxes because I think that, you know, our services are required. I just wish that most of it would go to what it's supposed to go to. Like, for example, if you donated £10 to charity, would you want £10 to go to charity or £1 to go to charity? Because you trust that money is a safe store of value, except it's not safe because the central banks control your money. They can take it at any time, and it's not a good store of value anymore because inflation is wiping it out. Most of what you earn and what you spend is going to the government to mismanage it. The government are essentially the richest middleman broker in the whole of the world. If you gave £10 to charity, you'd want £10 to go to the charity. When you pay £10 in tax, I don't know how much of it, £3 might go to the roads, the NHS, the services that we're supposed to pay for, and the rest goes to politicians and interest on government debt. Doesn't really sound like a fair system. So thanks for tuning in. I wouldn't mind if— I wonder if you wouldn't mind sharing this because this message needs to get out to as many people as possible.
