Bitcoin crash warning. I don't know if you've seen the price of Bitcoin today, um, but it's crashed quite a lot. And, um, some people are— I want to talk about that, by the way— but some people are calling Bitcoin the new gold or the digital gold. But, um, Bitcoin lost $110 billion 110 billion of value wiped out of Bitcoin, um, yesterday. So, um, you would never have 110 billion wiped out of the value of gold in a day. Never. Um, so it's too early to call Bitcoin the new gold or the digital gold. However, I was talking to someone who's very powerful in the UK yesterday, who's very connected to Donald Trump, knows him very well, and this prospect of Bitcoin being a, a reserve, basically a reserve for the currency, this is a possibility. And this would obviously deeply strengthen the value of Bitcoin. Now, the great thing about Bitcoin is it's a scarce asset. It is deflationary, which is why it won't probably work for money. In the early days, people were talking about Bitcoin being used, you know, to buy your coffee. But the reason deflation, i.e., increase in the value of money, is bad or has downsides— because you probably agree that money going down in value is bad for your storage of wealth. It is, um, but money going up in value is good for your storage of wealth. So if something is deflationary, i.e., it goes up in value, you don't spend it, you store it, you save it. So Bitcoin will not be a currency in my opinion, because why would you spend what goes up in value? You would save it. But it could be a reserve And actually, I don't know if you've seen in the news recently, but there's all this, does Fort Knox have any gold? Is Donald Trump calling all the gold to be repatriated from London and the world back to America to show that actually America does have some gold? None of these issues exist with Bitcoin because Bitcoin is an online digital reserve. So Bitcoin, in my opinion, will never be a currency because it's deflationary, but it could be a great store of value and a reserve. So my warning then, in the title of this video, my warning about this Bitcoin crash is don't go and be a headless chicken and go and sell. Observe the masses, do the opposite. Be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy. Now this isn't investment advice, I'm just sharing with you my experience of nearly 20 years. But my strategy for investing is buy, hold, die. BHD. Buy, hold, die. And whenever I buy then sell, then buy then sell, there's taxes, there's trading costs. You know, you have to sell a bit lower usually than the market price. And so what you do is you— it's like, you know, you have a wedding cake but you're slicing it off for everybody else before you get any. Whereas if you buy, hold, die, it compounds, it compounds, it compounds, it compounds, and you become very rich. So you want to do the opposite of what the masses are doing. And $110 billion has walked out of Bitcoin. Now, I'm not saying today is going to be the lowest point in this cycle or that today is a good time to buy, but generally smart investors sell on the way up and buy on the way down. And what do the masses do? The opposite. So don't panic sell if you've got any Bitcoin. In my experience, maybe you want to pound cost or dollar cost average down, whereas maybe you want to start buying a bit as the market drops. Drops. Don't put it all in at once, put it in in stages. And be careful not to get swept up in the hype and the mania. So let me know what you think in the comments about some of the things I've said. Do you think Bitcoin is a better reserve, you know, like a digital gold, than a currency? Do you believe Bitcoin is now here to stay? Do you think Bitcoin is going to keep going up? Is it going to keep 10xing and 10xing? There's no extra supply. It's unmanipulatable. And what do you think about the latest Bitcoin crash? $110 billion wiped off. Now look, if you'd like to continue the conversation of investing, not just in Bitcoin and crypto, but gold and silver and real estate and yourself and launching a business and creating multiple streams of income and getting your tax bill down and figuring out how to avoid all the costs of ownership I recommend you join me at the Moneymaker Summit. The Moneymaker Summit is our special flagship event. We have a new date that's just been launched, which is exciting for you because I wasn't planning any extra dates. And it's where you can meet me and 6 other 20-year-plus experienced entrepreneurs in specialized areas such as I've got my gold and silver mentor coming. I've got my experts in crypto. I've got my experts in AI. I've got my experts in real estate. I've got my experts in content and public speaking, on podcasting, and starting and scaling businesses. So the link to join this is robmoore.live/money. It's the Moneymaker Summit Live, and it's robmoore.live/money. Rob Moore dot live money. New date added. The dates and the details— there's just two— are on the page, robmoore.live/money. And there you've got about a combined 120 years of real experience in starting and scaling businesses, investing in gold and silver and real estate and crypto, and some new tech guys who are masters in AI. And all elements of making, managing, and multiplying money, and building multiple streams of recurring income, and getting your tax bill down and your expenses down, as well as your income streams up, this is the one place that you'd need to go. Now I do subsidise some of you. Sometimes these subsidised, i.e., I pay for your tickets, get gobbled up real quick. You'll see on the page if there are any left. But really the best tickets are just a small upgrade and there you can meet me and the other decade, two-decade entrepreneurs for dinner. Actually, I'll be there. I'm doing 5 keynote speeches by the way at this event. We had a billionaire speak at the last one. But you get money mindset sessions with the master entrepreneurs, you know, the 7, 8, and even 9-figure entrepreneurs. You get the 15-hour online how to raise money masterclass in case you're, just struggling in this sort of cost of living crisis. So you get all sorts of benefits and bonuses and first access and front row seating and champagne receptions and breakfast sessions and Q&As with the 8 and 9-figure entrepreneurs, just all for a small upgrade. So the dates, the details, everything you need to know and to register now is at robmoore.live/money. It's called the Moneymaker Summit. We don't run many of these events, but we did just launch a new date because we sold out the last one. I don't know if you saw the pictures online. And right now more than ever, you need to learn how to diversify your wealth. One, to create multiple income streams, but two, to protect your money because the government want it, the banks want it, the Inland Revenue want it. So it's not just about making money, it's keeping money. You know, I have my 5 Ms: make, manage, multiply, then maintain and move on. If you're older in life, you might want to learn how to maintain and diversify and then give your money away. But for most of you, it's make, manage, maintain, or make, manage, multiply. So, um, gold and silver have been going up like crazy, especially gold. So I've got my expert mentors in. Crypto is obviously a great thing if you know how to do it. And AI is the big, big talking point right now. Um, we have 100 staff and we've got AI systems and processes moving into our business. We believe it will save us 17 staff and 33,000 man-hours, which is for us millions of pounds. And we're going to share with you all of this openly at the Moneymaker Summit. Also how to save 7 figures plus in tax, because it hurts if you make money and then have to give away 50, 60, 70% of it. It really hurts, and you don't want to do that. And you know, A 7-figure amount can be a low 6-figure amount very quickly if you don't know how to get your tax bill down and protect your wealth. So Gosia says she's been to this event and it's amazing. Really appreciate you, Gosia. So robmoore.life/money. Bitcoin crash warning is, yeah, all right, it's corrected a bit. Yeah, people are going crazy. $110 billion just walked out of Bitcoin. Probably actually means it's a good thing and an opportunity. And maybe you should be buying on the way down, and if you're going to sell, sell on the way up, as opposed to buying on the way up and selling on the way down. You know, observe the masses and do the opposite. I don't like to sell Bitcoin. I don't like to sell real estate. I don't like to sell assets. I have sold them in the past. I've sold them really badly. I sold Bitcoin. I had Bitcoins at $5,000, which I sold. Idiot. Won't be doing that again. That was in 2020 lockdown, um, and you know, because everyone was in panic and I hadn't seen it before. I sold watches that went from £25 grand to £150 grand, one watch that went from £70 grand to £250 grand, and I sold them at the wrong time. So yeah, um, don't be the old me. I I had 23 flats that I developed, sold them all, you know, made a 7-figure amount and now they've doubled in value. Now thankfully I kept 345 properties, still got those, the rental units, still got my businesses, still got a load of assets. The assets I've kept have doubled and doubled over the last 20 years. The assets I've sold have doubled and doubled for someone else who I sold them to. So remember my favourite holding strategy à la Warren Buffett, is forever buy, hold, die. So if you want to learn what to buy, how to buy, when to buy it, how to start a business, how to create multiple streams of income, how to monetize what you already know, turn it into cash flow, then it's the Moneymaker Summit Live. The dates, the details, see if there's any sponsored tickets from me left. Um, if not, just a tiny upgrade. The VIP seats are better anyway. Grab them, you can afford them. Cost you few coffees. Um, probably spent more this week on coffee than the cost of a VIP ticket, though I do drink a lot. So I'll see you at the Moneymaker Summit Live. Let me know what you think about the crypto market right now, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
