Botox & Lip Fillers Should be BANNED

In this impassioned vlog, the speaker argues that cosmetic procedures—especially Botox, lip fillers, and buttock augmentations—have become an addictive, harmful industry that endangers public health, particularly among young people. Citing celebrity admissions (Ariana Grande) and a recent fatal case in Turkey, the speaker contends that many providers lack proper medical qualifications, often completing brief courses before performing invasive procedures. The monologue frames cosmetic surgery as a business model akin to a drug trade, urging stricter regulation: minimum age thresholds (25‑30), mandatory psychological screening, and tighter licensing to prevent unqualified practitioners. While acknowledging limited medical justification for older adults seeking anti‑aging treatments, the speaker emphasizes the societal pressure on teens and the resulting self‑esteem issues. The video concludes with a call for viewers to share the message and discuss whether cosmetic surgery should be illegal or heavily regulated.

Should this be illegal? Now, there's a lot of things wrong with the world right now, but there's one thing I think that's a silent killer that no one's really talking about regulating. And look, things like gambling I think should be regulated or illegal. I think the, the food industry is a bit of a scam. But one thing that no one seems to be talking about making illegal is cosmetic surgery. And I think this is damaging our entire nation. It's especially damaging our kids. And I wonder if it should be made illegal. Now I just want to celebrate quickly first Ariana Grande because Ariana Grande came out publicly and said, look, I've had fillers. I've had, you know, work done on my lips, and the reason that I did it is because I was hiding my pain. And I think that most, if not all, people who have cosmetic surgery, they're doing it to cover up their pain, and it becomes an addiction. And people, you know, they start with a bit of Botox. As you can see, I haven't had any. They start with a bit of Botox and then all of a sudden they're addicted to cosmetic surgery and their lips get fat. I mean, they end up looking like some kind of alien, half fish, half human. Is no one around them who cares about them saying to them, you look like a fish? And I know that sounds harsh, but they look like a fish. And you know, I see otherwise really pretty, good-looking initially women, and by the way, now men perfectly good-looking, perfectly reasonable, and they're ruining how they look. And by the way, um, recently someone just died. She went to Turkey to have an operation to have her ass made bigger. Why would any woman want a fatter ass? I just don't understand it. I remember when I was a bit younger— I'm 44 now, maybe I'm sounding like an old man— but every woman wanted skinny your ass, and now every woman wants a fatter ass. And what happens when you put plastic or have liposuction from other areas and stick it up your ass? And then what happens in 5 or 10 years when everyone wants to be skinny again like the models used to be? Do you remember when the models used to be skinny and now that it's all sort of curvy? What happens when you want to change back? It's irreversible. And here's the problem as well with— well, there's loads of problems with cosmetic surgery, By the way, let me know in the comments if you think it should be made illegal. The problem with making something illegal is it just goes underground, and I imagine it would be worse. But why is it not regulated more? So, you know, imagine if your 15-year-old daughter, who you love and you think is beautiful, goes out and gets her lips done like that and her ass enlarged just because everyone else is doing it. How would you feel then? Where's the regulation there? Surely there needs to be psychological testing and much more barriers to entry to get any kind of cosmetic surgery. And here's the thing as well, right? Someone used to work for me. They just worked in my company, general admin, and then they left. And then a week later they're giving people Botox and sticking needles in their face. They're not a doctor, they haven't, you know, got proper qualification. They go on some random week-long course and all of a sudden they can stick needles in people's faces. How is that right? Why are we not legal? Why are we not at least regulating this? It angers me. And here's the thing, I would say for 95% of people, I guess, who are sticking needles in their face, and you know, they should— you shouldn't— at the very least, don't fuck with your face. Yeah, your one face is what everyone sees. Don't mess with it. So their lips are blowing up like that, they've got fillers, they're poisoning their face. Um, my guess is 95% of them, number one, they won't just do it once. They'll keep doing it and keep doing it and keep doing it, which, by the way, is a perfect business model. So you can understand why the cosmetics industry would never want, um, this to be regulated or made illegal, because it's a brilliant business model, basically selling crack. Botox is crack. Lip fillers is crack. It's crack. It's an addiction. So they get you addicted, and my guess is that one bit of filler, or, you know, your lips a bit fatter and fuller— is that it then? Problem solved? I just want my lips to look a bit bigger. Yeah, great, problem solved. No. That's the start of you doing everything. That is the start of an addiction. And I would guess that 95% of people who have all these cosmetics, it's a self-worth issue. And if they loved themselves a bit more and appreciated themselves for who they are and, you know, loved the isms and quirks of themselves— you know, look at the people with like teeth that look like the fucking white keys on a piano. It looks ridiculous. Look, I haven't got straight teeth, but I think that looks better than fucking keyboard in my mouth. And I've got thin lips. It looks better than— I don't want to look like a fish. And one, I don't think people understand that it actually doesn't look very good to most people. And here's the thing, right? Don't we all want to be loved for who we are? How could you be loved for who you are when you're showing the world a fake you? Hey, look, look at my lips, look at my tits, look at my hips, look at my ass. You know, everything about it is fake. You want a real man, but you're a fake woman. How does that work? It doesn't work. And I reckon that 95% of cosmetics issues are self-worth issues and not loving yourself. So, uh, in a way, I I'd kind of like it if cosmetics were illegal because I think a lot of people's self-worth wouldn't be damaged. And instead of going to needles to feel better, they would actually look inside themselves and start to love themselves. And it saddens me so much. Look, if someone's 50 and 60 and their skin's falling off their face like it's been melted by a toxin, like mine's probably going to soon, I could sort of understand that a bit, especially if you need it for your career. You know, look at Nicole Kidman, for example. I don't think she looks better, but she probably doesn't want to look really old and she probably still wants to get work. I can sort of understand that. But kids at 18, 20, 16 who look good, they look better without it, doing it, to me there's something fundamentally wrong with that. The problem with making something illegal is then it goes underground, then you of course would get all the backstreet way of doing it and people would want to do it anyway. But at the very least it should be highly regulated. You know, maybe they should be minimum 25, minimum 30, and maybe they should have proper psychological testing. And then when they go through that psychological testing, go, have you thought about getting some therapy? You know, have you thought about educating yourself and learning to love yourself a bit more and helping people instead of just sticking needles in their faces? And people are dying from these cosmetics. They're too easy to get into. One-week course, no one who's done a one-week course is sticking a fucking needle in me, I can tell you that. You can piss off. Um, anyway, let me know what your thoughts are in the comments. Um, let me know if you disagree with me. Um, share if, if you agree with this, because, you know, my daughter is 9, and in 4 or 5 or 7 years, she could be doing this to herself by influence of someone else when there is nothing wrong with her. And this saddens me greatly, and I think it's important that we all use our profiles for good. So I wonder if you wouldn't mind sharing this. Don't fuck with your face. Why do you want to make your ass fatter? And you look like a fish with your lips like that. It doesn't look right. Most decent, level-headed— I'm gonna do women versus men. Look, men are doing this as well now, which is even more crazy. Because surely what's attractive about men is our battle scars and our hardened strength, our leather face. So, you know, you probably don't want a man with soft manicured hands and filled lips. So I'm going to do the man-woman stereotype here, um, but most men I know think women look a lot worse with cosmetic surgery than actually better. And I think if more women knew that, maybe they would change. Anyway, let me know what your thoughts are in the comments, or am I just an old out-of-date bastard who's growing old disgracefully? Let me know what you think in the comments, and also share this if you agree, because people are dying by getting shit jobs. And a woman recently went over to Turkey, didn't tell anyone, had some liposuction out of other parts of her body into her ass, caused a blood clot, and she died. I mean, to make a fatter ass. It's ridiculous. Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for tuning in. Share this if you agree. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
