‘British workers need to be more like Chinese’ 😳

Rob Moore defends Liz Truss's claim that British workers should match Chinese productivity, arguing British culture has become too soft and entitled. He says the fix isn't shorter weeks or more benefits but harder work, personal responsibility, and a cultural shift toward discipline.

British workers need to be more like the Chinese. This is a quote from someone in the UK. Can you guess who has just said British workers need to be more like the Chinese? Let me know in the comments if you can guess who said that. Now, the person who said this, they're very prominent in the UK. Believe that it's a historical fact that British workers produce much less per hour than the Chinese. Apparently it's been a historical fact for decades. This person has also said if we want to be more prosperous, then we need a culture change. We need a better work ethic, a more productive output. But apparently, according to this person, Britain want easy answers. And here are some of the blame games that apparently Britain are playing. They blame Europe, they blame migrants, but ultimately it is said that we need more graft and we need to be more like the Chinese. So have you guessed who said this yet? Very famous person in the UK. By the way, this person is getting massive hate for saying this, and I'm going to share my opinion on this in a moment. Just want to see if you can guess who it is. Um, I'd also like to ask you, do you agree? Have we become too entitled? Have we got used to too much prosperity? Do we want things to be easy? Let me know what you think. Anyway, have you guessed who said it? 3, 2, 1. It was actually Liz Truss who's probably going to be our next Prime Minister. This seems to me to be a very— something that Thatcher might have said, so maybe we've got some history repeating here. But Liz Truss has said that the British workers need to be more like the Chinese, and she is getting a huge amount of hate for saying this. She is saying that it's a historical fact for decades that Britain are producing much less output, much less per hour. And if we want to be more prosperous, we need to change the culture. We need to just do more graft, do more work. So first off, I'm gonna ask you, what do you think about this? I'm throwing my hat in the ring right now. I'm probably gonna get some hate for this myself, but screw it, I'm gonna just say it 'cause it needs to be said. I agree with Liz Truss. Good on Liz Truss for being bold and brave to say something that she probably knew she was going to get hate for. You can hear when she says it, she's trying to say her words carefully and tried to dance around it somewhat. She's absolutely right. Britain has become lazy, entitled, and it blames everyone. It blames all the migrants and the immigrants, and then it sends them away, away through Brexit, and then it blames Brexit. It just blames everyone. Then we threw ourselves into lockdown, and then second lockdown, and then third soft lockdown, without the regard for what's going to get us out of possibly 10 years of austerity or more. And there's one simple answer, and I've been banging on about this for ages, and it's not work from home, it's not a 3-day week, it's not a 3-day school week, it's not more benefits, it's not more handouts, yeah, yeah, yeah, like everyone is bloody saying. It's not that, it's work fucking harder. So work from home should be work fucking harder. But people don't want to work hard. I'm going to write that down for my next slide. Work fucking harder, not work from home. But no one seems to want to work harder. I've worked much harder in these last 2 years, and I had to, to keep the company going, to keep all of my clients happy, keep my nearly 100 staff in one of my companies employed, etc. This complacency This entitlement, this arrogance, this, 'Oh, look at me, me, me,' all this ego, 'All my feelings need to be heard.' It's all fucking nonsense, and it needs to go. People need to shut the fuck up and start working harder. They need to produce. The output needs to go up. The productivity needs to go up. We need to build things and make things. You know, we had an empire. We were Britain. We had the British Empire. And now what are we? We are nothing. The rest of Europe and the world must look at the Brits and go, "Look at these entitled, lazy, whiny, whingy, moany British bastards." Come on, people! If you don't want your taxes to go up and up and up and up, which by the way, they are already. If you don't want inflation to go up and up and up and up, and if you don't want your cost of living to soar, which is all happening right now, then you, me, and we as a people, we need to work harder and smarter. James, you're right. Not just harder but smarter. A lot of the extra work I've done in the last 2 years isn't necessarily getting my head down and grafting away. It's how can I be disruptive? How can I disrupt myself? How can I be creative and innovative? How can I solve this problem I've never solved before? How can I increase productivity and output? How can I find great staff? What new products and services are needed? What do my clients— where are their new problems and issues now? Where is the money moving? Well, how has the world changed? What solutions can I create? Alright, I did speak really frickin' fast there. But I've been saying this for 2 years. All these handouts and loans and all this stuff is not the answer. The answer is get up earlier, work harder, work smarter, go to bed later, be more valuable, be more productive, fire up the economy, fire up the industry, fire up building shit. And then we will get ourselves out of this big fat fricking mess. And Liz Truss is getting a load of hate because she basically said facts. According to her, it's a historical fact for decades that our production per hour has gone down and it's not what the Chinese is. Now I don't know if you've listened to Ray Dalio's books, Principles and Principles of the New World Order, and he talks a lot about the Chinese and he thinks the Chinese get a really bad rub and they have honour. You know, they have pride, they have respect for authority. There's no respect for authority in the UK. This younger generation think they know frickin' everything. They think that their parents and their grandparents know fuck all. Where's the respect for people who've been there? Our grandfathers and grandmothers who fought in the war. There was two world wars within, what, 20 years? So imagine us all being born in 1900. We'd have had 2 world wars in 20 years. Imagine then going live on Facebook going, "Oh, my feelings are so hurt. Someone upset and offended me on social media. Oh, it's not fair. They need to pay me more. I need to work less." I mean, imagine it. We're lazy, we're entitled, we're spoiled. Now, by the way, some of that is not our fault. It's not our fault when we were born. We've been born in the most prosperous time in history. But the problem is when it's prosperous and there's debt and there's free money, here's the thing, there's too much free. There's free money, there's free debt, there's free lending, there's free information, there's free internet, there's free speech. Because everything is so free, nothing has value. Shit. So I support Liz Truss. Good on her for speaking truth. Good on her for speaking up. Knowing that it could probably hurt her prime ministerial campaign because she may soon be the prime minister. And we need to stop blaming everyone. It's not Europe's fault, it's not Brexit's fault, it's not Trump's fault, it's not the government's fault. Alright, it is a bit the government's fault, but the government are part of They Are Britain. It's not Brexit's fault. What it is, is it's a culture fault. So, if you want to be valuable, successful, wealthy, and useful, if you want a good life, if you want to not just survive but thrive, in this probably decade of austerity, there is one way to do that. Be more useful, be more productive. Stop whining, start making. Start building, start producing. You know, we used to have this amazing industry and manufacturing hub, and of course now we've outsourced that everywhere. We don't produce anything anymore. We get everything from China, or we get our energy from Europe or wherever, and now we're like, 'Oh, well, what do we do? Oh, it's not fair.' No! So fuck work from home. Start work fucking harder. Smarter and harder. Better. That's the only way things change. That's the only way we get ourselves out of a decade or more of austerity and recession and depression. Mark my words. So good on you, Liz Truss. I support you. Speak your mind, but you spoke with facts. You're getting hate for it, but I do not think your hate was deserved. Because if production is down, it's a fact, and production needs to go up. All these handouts and, you know, all these moanings of what's wrong in the world— the only way to get back to prosperity is to produce, to create, to innovate, to build. And by the way, it's not the New World Order's fault. It's not Own Nothing and Be Happy's fault. It's not Bill Gates' fault. It's not Klaus Schwab's fault. It's not the World Economic Forum's fault. It's none of that. Just think, okay, how can I be useful? How can I be productive? How can I be effective? What value can I create? Work smarter, work harder, do more. And if we all do that together, we will be the rising tide that lifts all other ships, and we will drag this nation out of the pit that it's in. So let me know what you think in the comments. Liz Truss has said basically British workers need to be more like the Chinese because we are less productive. She's had a load of hate for it, and I back her, and I say I agree. We do need a better work ethic and a culture of less entitlement and more production. You know, if there had been two world wars within 20 years, none of us would be here on social media moaning. We'd be rebuilding the country, rebuilding the roads. You and I would be workers working in building things, rebuilding. And we need to do rebuilding just because our buildings haven't been exploded yet and blown apart. They have been, of course, Ukraine and Russia. We all need to rebuild. All right, cool. Now Kyle has just said, nah, this new generation realised they would rather live their life, travel, and watch their children grow up and not slave away for people that don't give two fucks about us. I'm not sure I agree with that. Look, I've got to respect a younger generation. They haven't seen what's come before them. But I just don't think we realize how easy it's been for us generationally. Imagine being born in 1900 and going through two world wars. And for the last 20 or 30 years it's been relatively prosperous. It's been relatively prosperous since the 1970s. Okay, we had the recession of 2008. But you cannot help but become lazier, more entitled, a desire to wish things were easier when it's been easy. Because hard times create hard people and easy times create weak people. It's just a reality. Now look, if people want to travel and live their life and see the world, fair enough, but don't expect an employer to fund that for you. Don't expect that you can do what you want, where you want, when you want, with who you want, and not offer any value to anyone and not build or produce anything. And this is the problem with some people. Now by the way, I shouldn't say it's an age thing. That's why I've not said Gen this, Gen that. I'm not going to talk about a generation. 'Cause you got some younger people who are really fricking hard workers providing great value in the world. And you got some older people who are maybe not so. So it's not just about age. It is generational, but it's more cultural than it is age or generation. You know, you can't help when you were born and where you were born. And generally, hard times create hard, good leaders. Easy times create weak, leaders and cultures. It's just a natural way that the cycle works. And right now it's been too easy for too long. And as soon as anyone says anything that's like, 'Oh, that's not nice, that's not fair, oh, that could upset someone,' then they get absolutely lambasted on social media when it may be truth. Did you see that Andrew Tate just got banned from social media? Now a lot of the stuff he said was extreme, don't get me wrong, but a lot of the stuff he said was fair and reasonable, yet there's a big campaign to get him banned. But instead of big campaigns to get people speaking their mind banned, why don't we do big campaigns to rebuild our country? To work hard, to produce, to become an industry and a hub of technology and innovation and manufacturing like we used to be. We need to be more independent in this country now. We rely too much on everybody else. We used to be this. We used to be the empire. Now we're an empire of ashes. So Liz Truss has just said basically British workers need to be more like the Chinese, um, and that we produce less per hour and we need to increase our graft if we want to get ourselves out of this difficult situation. And I agree, and she's got loads of hate for that, and I don't think it's fair. So Liz Truss, I stand by you. I think it's great what you say. I think we need to all produce more and get real of where the country and the world is going, which is a decade or more of austerity if we're not careful, or even a financial revolution, or even a Third World and we're complacent. We're like, "Oh, it'll never happen. Oh, it won't happen." I've just listened to a load of Ray Dalio's work, and he goes back through all the cycles through history, and believe you me, we're pretty close to anarchy, to rebellion, to revolution. And, "Oh, but I want to work from home 3 days a week and need more support from the government. The government needs to pay me more money because I'm entitled to it." That is not going to change anything. Fuck, come on, people. And I know not everyone thinks like that, but you know, we're judging this culturally. So good on you, Liz Truss. Come on, my podcast disruptors, let's chat even more about that, because I thought what you said was truth. We need some truth. All right, so please hit the share button. Let me know about what you think of Liz Truss and what she said, that British workers need to be more like the Chinese and we need to graft, and we've become blaming and lazy. We blame Europe, we blame migrants instead of taking responsibility. And it looks like she's not gonna increase some taxes that Rishi would. So I like that. Definitely think that taxes are too high right now. And also, if you wanna learn how to get your tax down and get your income up and create multiple streams of income and build assets that are digital and start and scale a business and get multiple streams of income and start a side hustle all for less than a large coffee, one-third of the price of Netflix, go and join rob.team right now.
