Comparing Dubai vs. UK Tax Rates (Shocking)

In this YouTube monologue, Rob Moore delivers a stark, side‑by‑side comparison of the United Kingdom’s tax regime with that of Dubai, highlighting the UK’s high income tax (up to 45%), National Insurance (15%), VAT (20%), corporation tax (19‑25%), capital gains tax (10‑28%), inheritance tax (up to 40%) and stamp duty (5‑12%) against Dubai’s zero or low rates (income tax 0%, NI 0%, VAT 5%, corporation tax up to 9%, capital gains 0%, inheritance tax 0%, property transfer 2% total). He frames the UK as a tax‑burdened, economically declining nation, blaming political choices, rising inflation, unemployment and an upcoming “autumn budget” that may raise taxes further. Moore then outlines three possible responses for viewers – emigrate, do nothing, or learn to reduce taxes – and argues the only viable path is to become an entrepreneur and exploit roughly twelve legitimate UK tax breaks. He uses this argument to promote his “Moneymaker Summit Live” event, providing URLs (robmoore.live/mms), describing ticket tiers, bonus masterclasses, networking with 8‑9‑figure entrepreneurs, and promises to teach real‑estate, gold/silver, AI, and money‑mindset strategies. Throughout, he mixes political criticism, personal anecdotes, and a sales pitch, urging viewers to act quickly before further tax hikes.

Comparing Dubai versus UK tax rates, like-for-like comparison. This is an absolute shock. I have 7 or 8 different taxes here which I have compared like-for-like, Dubai versus UK, and it makes you wonder why would you even stay in the UK. Now I like to end all of my content with solutions, and I'm going to do something that most people in the UK probably wouldn't dare to do, but I'm going to do it anyway. Okay, so why don't you play along with me and have a guess here? So income tax in the UK ratchets up to 45%. If you want to earn any kind of decent money, it's 45%. Do you know what income tax is in Dubai? This is a quick, easy one. Income tax in Dubai is zero. It's up to 45%, realistically 45% in the UK. Okay, then there's National Insurance, which is essentially another tax. I like how they call it insurance when actually it's a tax. So in the UK, it's 15%. Employers, employees also pay National Insurance. So you've got double National Insurance in the UK, employers and employees. In Dubai, can you guess how much National Insurance is? This is a difficult one. Zero. So you got income tax, 45% versus zero. National insurance, 15% plus versus zero. VAT. So VAT in the UK is 20%. So you're taxed on what you earn, and then you're taxed on what you spend because VAT is added to pretty much everything you buy. So you're double taxed. You're taxed when you're alive, you're taxed when you're dead. Great. Now it's not zero in Dubai. Can anyone guess how much? The taxes for VAT in Dubai is still small, is 5%. I wouldn't mind paying 5% VAT, feels like fair, fair to me. Okay, then let's move on to corporation tax. So in the UK, it's 19 to 25%, but again, if you want to earn hardly any money, it's basically 25%. Now it's not zero in Dubai, but it starts at zero and you have to earn pretty good money for it to go up, and then it goes up to 9 Capital gains tax, let's move on to that next. So capital gains tax in the UK is 10 to 25, no, 10 to 28% now. And in Dubai, do you know how much capital gains tax is? Zero. Inheritance tax, 40% in the UK. Do you know how much tax it is in Dubai? Zero. Property taxes, also known as stamp duty in the UK, in the UK it's 5 to 12%. I mean, 12% on a million quid house is 120 grand. Why would anyone buy any of these houses? Do you know how much it is in Dubai? The buyer and the seller pay 2% each, which feels really fair to me. The buyer and the seller split it and it's 2% each. So did any of you guess any of those? Let me just summarize them again. Why would you even stay here? Income tax in the UK up to 45%, in Dubai zero. National insurance in the UK 15%, in Dubai zero. VAT in the UK 20%, In Dubai, 5%. Corporation tax in the UK, up to 25%. In Dubai, up to 9%. Capital gains tax in the UK, 10% to 28%. In Dubai, 0%. Inheritance tax in the UK, up to 40%. In Dubai, 0%. And then property taxes in the UK, so stamp duty up to 12%, and then Dubai is 2% for the buyer and 2% for the seller. This is just madness. And by the way, in the autumn budget, what's going to happen? Taxes are going to go up again to fund our extra national defence because the country's in ruin and everyone's just going to come and claim the UK as their own, like a lot of the asylum seekers are. Like, imagine the world looking into the UK. Oh, it's all screwed. They can't afford their economy. They're run by a far-left socialist government. Let's just go and take it. We're as weak as we've ever been. We had a 180-year empire, and now I think the economy is shot to bits. Inflation's gone up a lot recently. Unemployment is the highest it's been in a long time. Honestly, this country is going to ruin. Now look, some of my critics say, 'Oh, Rob, he's a moaner. Why doesn't he just leave then?' Well, maybe like me, you have family here, you have businesses here, you have property here. You know, you have connections here. Maybe you have a nostalgia for the UK. You know, you love watching Oasis are playing again. Remember the good old days in the '90s when you went down the pub and you had 20 quid and it would last all day and you listened to Britpop? Where has that UK gone? Anyway, so here are your options. You've got 3 options. Let's move into solution mode. Option number 1 is you leave. Now that's easy for millionaires and billionaires to say because they can afford it. But, you know, normal people probably can't afford to leave or aren't ready to leave. So maybe that's not an option for you. I'm not leaving, although if they bloody well put up these wealth taxes that they're talking about, then maybe I will. Who knows? I mean, you know, they only have to push you a little bit further. We're right on the edge, I think, those that are still here. You know, there's predicted to be about 100,000 millionaires leave by 2030. 3 of the top richest billionaires in the UK have already left. This is getting worse and worse and worse. So option 1 is you leave. Option 2 is you do nothing. Now if you do nothing, things will just get worse and worse and worse because the thing is, the universe doesn't stand still. It's either growing or decaying. If you're green, you grow. You're ripe, you rot. So actually standing still is going backwards. Inflation is up. Unemployment is up. So you do nothing and you're basically going to be like like that frog that's boiled slowly. So really, I think the best option for you is to actually learn how to get these taxes down, how to make money, yes, manage and multiply money, yes, but retain and keep money. Because what's the point in pushing hard and starting a new, um, career and taking some risk and launching a side hustle and starting a business and then what, 2/3 of what you earn you just give to the government? You know, because by the way, the half plus in taxes is just what you earn, but then there's taxes hidden in everything you spend. There's 5 different taxes in owning a car, by the way, I bet you didn't know that. So it's not just now about getting your income up, it's about getting your tax bill down, but there's only one way to get your tax bill down. There's 12 tactics, I believe, 12 main tax breaks for normal people, you know, that doesn't include trusts or offshore or being a billionaire. Normal tax structures I've seen, there's 12 general legitimate ones that are on HMRC website. They just confuse the hell out of you. It's weird because they want small businesses, they want entrepreneurs, so they give you these tax breaks, but then they make them really confusing. This is something like— is it 17,000 pages, the tax code in the UK? No one can make decent sense of it except for really good accountants. So your goal should be to figure out the one way where you get paid first and you get paid, you pay tax last or later, and then figure out these 12 main tax breaks of which many of them are actually quite simple. You're just sort of confused intentionally, I think, by HMRC. So if you want to learn how to get your tax bill down as well as your income streams up, I recommend you come to my Moneymaker Summit Live. Now I do something that most people in the UK wouldn't do, and that is I share with you how we reduce our taxes. So, you know, the standard things and then the things that are, you know, a little bit more advanced that our specialist accountants have helped us do. And genuinely, instead of paying 50 to 60% on £100,000, you might be able to reduce that down to 15%, maybe less, depending on your business. So if you want to learn how to do all this, we've actually added this into the live event, the Moneymaker Summit. So I'm going to share the link with you. It's robmoore.live/money. That's robmoore.live/money. Actually, no, it's robmoore.live/mms. Sorry, robmoore.live— I'm typing in at the same time— /mms. Let me just say that one more time. robmoore.live/mms. That's the link. Now if you go to the link, you'll see I do sponsor some people to come to the event, maybe 20 people per event. We have a couple of date choices on the page, but about 20 of you. I generally save those sponsored tickets for people who are really hard up, struggling financially, just been made redundant, you know, really struggling in this cost of living crisis. So you could register your details and maybe claim one of those sponsored tickets. You know, I'll pay for everything. Except you just have to get yourself there, because I own the training building so I don't have to charge hundreds of pounds for the tickets like most people do, because I don't have to spend money on expensive London hotels. But you'll also see when you register at the page, robmoore.live/mms, as in Moneymaker Summit, you'll see on halfway down the page, and when you register on the other page, we've actually got some cool upgrade tickets. So not only do you get like front row seating, fast access entry, so you can obviously get up close and personal with the 8 and 9 figure plus entrepreneurs. But there's a 15-hour How to Raise Money Online Masterclass series. Now this is a £700 online course, but I can give it to you because it's already recorded. It doesn't cost me anything to share it with you. But then also there's 2 bonus morning money mindset sessions because the mindset, the skillset without the mindset will leave you upset. And because, you know, imagine trying to plant seeds in this concrete. You need the fertile mind of money. You know, some people believe that the love of money is the root of all evil. Well, actually, no, the love of money is also the root of all good. So we'll help you with your money beliefs. So there's bonus sessions on that for the upgraded ticket buyers. Then there's 2 champagne receptions with the 8-figure entrepreneurs. There's a private dinner with the 8-figure entrepreneurs and about 30 of you. And then there's also a private lunch with me and 20 of you in like a mastermind lunch. And all of these are just for, you know, what I spend on coffee in a week or 10 days is what these upgraded tickets cost. That's a very small investment in yourself. I'll pay for your lunch if you pay for your dinner. And these are on the upgraded tickets. So you can get the dates, the details, the information, and the upgraded tickets. At robmoore.live/mms. Now I'm not sure how long I'm going to be able to talk about all these tax saving strategies at the Moneymaker Summit because ultimately they are legitimate, but it's weird because the government kind of need you to have these tax breaks because otherwise why would you start a business because it's too risky, but then they kind of don't want you because they need to take all your money off you. So it's kind of like a bit of a weird position and I'm seeing them closing some of the tax breaks, and I think you want to get in on all of this before they close them even more. I imagine the autumn budget's going to be bad and they're going to increase taxes further. So what's the point in making more money if you're giving nearly all of it away to the government? So, Money Maker Summit Live, the link is robmoore.live/mms. It's actually a 3-day event and I'm subsidising it because I own the building. I'll teach you how I bought the building, no money down. We'll teach you how to invest in real estate. We'll teach you how to invest in gold and silver. We'll teach you how to protect your money and decentralize it and, you know, make sure that you control your money rather than the banks and the system controlling your money. We'll teach you about AI. We've got an AI expert that, that comes in. So it's, uh, it covers all bases if you want to start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money and build multiple streams of income. The event is called the Moneymaker Summit. The link is Rob Moore www.matt-cochrane.live/mms because if you're going to stay here, taxes are going to go up in the Autumn Budget, and already you're probably taxed two-thirds, maybe three-quarters of what you earn and then what you spend. And there's only one way to get that down, and that is to be an entrepreneur business owner. And then there are about 12 main tax breaks which help you chip, chip, chip, chip down. And I think we're probably the only event of its kind in the UK that actually openly shares these. We've had them underwritten by our accountant, underwritten by tax investigation insurance. I'm really confident that they work, and I'll reveal them to you. By the way though, you'll have to turn your phone on airplane mode. And obviously these aren't things I talk about publicly just because, you know, I imagine HMRC weirdly don't want us to do what they kind of allow us to do, and they confuse us to do what they want us to do because they don't want us to do it because they want to take all our money. And this is just wrong. And the UK really is doomed now. And, um, so you have to earn so much money that it doesn't matter, or be so rich that you can move. So let me know what you think of the UK versus Dubai, the tax rates. I did a summary a little bit earlier, go back and watch that. I mean, it's just, to me, it beggars belief. It's utter madness. Every week I know someone moving to Dubai who's wealthy, and I think Dubai are really smart. They're They're dangling the carrot for all the revenue generators and many of them are leaving. I'm staying, I want to help you stay because I want to help you keep more of what you make and that's why I think you need to attend the Moneymaker Summit. robmoore.life/mms. By the way, you need to be quick because our training suite probably doesn't hold more than 150. I like about 120 max in the room for the space and for us, you know, I'll talk to you in the breaks, I'll sign the books, all of that. And of course I've got, what, 530,000 followers just on this social media, and sometimes I share my content across multiple social media. So it's strictly first come, first serve. All the details are at robmoore.live/mms.
