Crypto Crash: is NOW the Time to Buy? đ¤

In this YouTube commentary, the speaker reviews the June 2022 cryptocurrency market crash, noting that total crypto market cap fell from over $3 trillion to under $1 trillion and Bitcoin dropped from a $68,000 peak to around $20,000, a twoâthirds decline. He warns that many soâcalled stablecoins (e.g., Luna) have proven unstable and that most altcoins are essentially highârisk gambles. He advocates a longâterm, buyâandâhold mindset, quoting Warren Buffett and emphasizing that investors should only allocate a small portion of net worth to crypto: up to 1 % for altcoins/stablecoins and no more than 5â10 % for Bitcoin. He recommends treating Bitcoin as a digital store of value rather than a trading asset, using dollarâ or poundâcost averaging to stage purchases, and avoiding allâin moves. Throughout, he repeatedly promotes his paid membership site, rob.team, offering a free 9âmodule âHow to Investâ series for members, and urges viewers to join. The video ends with a call for comments on Bitcoinâs future and a teaser about an upcoming Caitlyn Jenner interview.

The huge crypto crash, it's happened. Maybe there's more to go. And the question I keep getting asked is, now the time to buy? Is now the time to get into cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin? So first, let's talk about the state of play of the market. There are supposed stablecoins not so stable that have gone to zero, Luna being one of them. So be careful when you're promoted or pitched a stable coin because it doesn't mean it's stable. Bitcoin, Bitcoin has gone down from a peak of $68,000 a coin to just over $20,000 a coin. It actually bottomed below $20,000 a coin, which means Bitcoin has gone down two-thirds in value. The total market capitalization of all cryptos was over $3 trillion, and what, just 6 months ago, and now it's under $1 trillion. So that's the state of play. Lots of people lost lots of paper money. So the question is, is now the time to buy? Well, look, I think first and foremost you should have a long-term view of all of your investments. By the way, this is not investment advice. You should know to do your own due diligence and research. But if you have a very long-term view of investing Usually, even with volatile market movements, it shouldn't affect you too much. Some eyebrow weirdness going on there. You don't tune in for my eyebrows. So for example, Warren Buffett says, if you're not going to get in for an investment for 10 years, don't get in for 10 minutes. My favorite holding period is forever. I've hardly ever sold any assets. And do you know what? When I have, I've regretted it. I've sold Patek Philippe Nautilus, I've sold Richard Milles, I've sold Rolexes, and they've gone up and up and up since. I did a 23-apartment development, sold them all, made, um, you know, gross 7 figures, but net after tax, and then the growth, the 10 years later, I've ended up regretting it. So if you would hold something for 10 years, it's probably wise to get in, and it probably doesn't matter when you get in. Now, I personally believe there are a few fundamental rules you should adhere to with this volatile market of cryptos and Bitcoin, etc. Number 1 is anything other than Bitcoin is basically pure risk. People are saying, oh, get into stablecoins, stake, get up to 9% return. Unfortunately, most of them aren't stable. So look, are some of them going to go to the moon? They could. Could they go through the floor? They could. So if you're going to invest in altcoins, stablecoins, or shitcoins, I thoroughly recommend it's no more than 1% of your net worth. It is risk capital you would essentially be prepared just to spend and lose and never see again. I think that's really important to say. Most people who know what they're doing in crypto investments know there's a huge difference between Bitcoin and all the other coins. So see all altcoins, stablecoins, and shitcoins as a gamble. Risk capital you can afford to lose, no more than 1% of your net worth. Now Bitcoin, on the other hand, has got the most proven track record. It's really the only purely decentralized of all the cryptocurrencies. So maybe that probablyâ well, look, it's certainly more stable even though it's volatile. It's still way up. I mean, how many pizzas could you buy with a Bitcoin when it first came out? And so if you compare it to that, it's hugely gone up. And now some people would say because of the two-thirds correction, and they talk about these halving cycles, it might be a good time to go in. Now if you're going to go into Bitcoin, whether you're in already you're in for the first time, see Bitcoin as a savings account. See it as a good store of value and a good store of energy. Don'tâ I don't like this trading around Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies. Now look, if you're a professional trader, you've been doing it for 20 years, maybe you know something I don't, but most people aren't. Uh, and look, you've got entrance and exit fees when you trade. You've got the issue of timing because, you know, the experts say it's not about timing the market, It's about time in the market. The longer you are in, the more money you make in all asset classes. So if you're going to go into Bitcoin, go in with a long-term view. Of course, it's more than two-thirds down from where it was at peak, um, so maybe it is quite a good time. Now, if you want to get in, I, I would recommendâ I personally wouldn't be putting more than 5, maybe 10% max of your net worth into Bitcoin Personally speaking, I'm not ready for that yet. It's not got a wide enough adoption yet. It's not a currency yet. So be careful. But let's be honest, Bitcoin could go down 15%, and that's no more than cash is going down with inflation. So you've got to factor that in as well. So, and Bitcoin probably has been over the last 10 years much better savings than cashâ that, well, way more better savings than cash. Um, because of obviously inflation and quantitative easing. Now, if you're going to go into Bitcoin now, or any other cryptos or altcoins or anything like that, make sure you pound cost average or dollar cost averageâ same thing but different currency. Pound or dollar cost averaging means not going all in at once but going in in stages. Let's say you're going to put 10 grand inâ 2 grand now, 2 grand in a month, 2 grand in a month, 2 grand in a month, 2 grand in a month. So that you stage in, so that if you mistime the market and it goes down more and you buy in before the floor, you haven't dropped a lot of your, um, value. Now of course that works in reverse, and if you timed it perfectly, you'd have made more money if you'd have gone all in. But I don't think it's wise to go all in with anything. Maybe go all in with passion, maybe go all in with motivation and energy, but not all in with money, not all in on one asset. This is kind of bad American influencer ra-ra hypey advice. Never go all in in one asset class. Never go all in, all money in one go. It's just dumb. It's just too risky. Um, so, um, let me know what you think, by the way. Do you think Bitcoin has hit its floor? Do you think it's now at a low point where it's a good time to go in? I'd love your thoughts in the comments. I'm all up for you discussing other cryptos you think might be good. Please don't pitch people or give them advice on that. Just share your thoughts and opinions and experience, because I've seen a lot of people going to stablecoins which are actually volatile, um, coins they were promoting go to zero, uh, and I just think anything other than Bitcoin you should just see as a gamble and a risk and only put a small amount of your net worth in. So let me know what you think. Are we at the floor? Is it a good time to buy? What's the future of Bitcoin? What's the future of the altcoins and the stablecoins and any other coins? Let me know in the comments. Now look, we are in volatile times, but volatile times make millionaires. There are more millionaires made in a recession than at any other time. Are you one of these people that thinks Bitcoin is going to zero? Let me know in the comments, because Bill Gates thinks that many cryptos are going to zero because of the greater fool theory. Warren Buffett believes that all, um, Bitcoin is going to zero, and he wouldn't buy all of Bitcoin for $25. Peter Shift thinks Bitcoin is going to zero. But then many people think that this is just the halving cycle, this is just part of the market, and Bitcoin will go to a quarter of a million a coin, a half a million a coin, a million a coin, and you name it, in the next 5, 10 years and beyond. So where are you on this? Is Bitcoin going to zero or is Bitcoin going to the moon? I'd love you to discuss, um, in the chat what you think. So let me just summarize what I shared. The state of play is cryptos are down from $3 trillion to under $1 trillion market cap. Bitcoin is down from $68,000 at peak to $20,000. Um, it's crazy volatile markets. Many stablecoins aren't stable. Many cryptos have gone to zero. Bitcoin is probably really the only most secure decentralized cryptocurrency, so it's different from all the others. Make sure you only risk capital you can afford to lose, especially in stablecoins, altcoins, and shitcoins. Pound cost average, which means don't put all your money in in one go. Stage your money in whatever you're going to invest in. Remember that Bitcoin could go down 15% and it's still equal to cash because cash is eroding at 15% plus a year with inflation and quantitative easing. So that's worth bearing in mind. And remember, you must learn, earn, and invest. Be your own investor, your own financial advisor, your own money manager. And rob.team can help you do that. So if you go and open a new page right now, you type in rob.team, you can join the movement, join the disruptive community, the freedom fighters, the people who are gaining, attaining financial freedom completely decentralised, away from the system, and not beholden to the government, not under threat by massive taxation and the soaring cost of living crisis and the soaring cost of inflation, the billions going into wars. Actually, they're not just surviving but thriving in these disruptive Darwinian times. Because in times of great hardship are equally great opportunity. More millionaires made in a recession than at any other time. There is great opportunity out there. But you must be smart money and not dumb money.
