In this YouTube monologue, the speaker examines whether cryptocurrencies or the traditional banking system constitute a larger scam, arguing that both often lack true decentralization and expose users to corporate profit motives. He explains how banks, as profitâmaking corporations, can seize deposited funds, and many cryptocurrencies are centrally controlled, making them similarly risky. Drawing on recent bank failures and crypto collapses (e.g., FTX), he outlines five practical strategies to protect and grow wealth: (1) Use only wellâestablished banks and proven cryptocurrencies (primarily Bitcoin) and match exposure to risk; (2) Diversify and decentralize holdings across multiple reputable institutions and longâstanding crypto assets; (3) Prioritize asset classes you can directly control, such as physical gold, watches, real estate, and businesses; (4) Maintain a balanced portfolio of physical and digital assets, employing coldâstorage for crypto and avoiding leaving funds on platforms; (5) Increase earning power and create multiple income streams (online businesses, SaaS, membership sites, property, stock market, etc.) to provide insurance against economic downturns. He warns of an impending economic depression caused by pandemicârelated fiscal overspending, suggesting distressed assets will become opportunities for those prepared. Throughout, he promotes the "Rob.team" platformâa lowâcost (under ÂŁ0.20 per day) digital financialâfreedom service offering courses, masterclasses, and resources to help viewers learn, earn, and invest, positioning it as the ultimate safeguard against both bank and crypto scams.

Crypto or banks, the biggest scam? This is not as easy to answer as it should be, because when banks are failing, like the 3 in a week recently, people will tend to look for things like crypto. And then when crypto is failing, like many platforms like FTX, people might now see banks as a safer bet. But my question to you is this, which we will explore, which is: which is the greater scam, crypto or the banking system? Well, Bitcoin doesn't look like a scam. It does look decentralized, but it's one of the few that doesn't look like a scam. Now, okay, some other cryptos like Ethereum or HEX, they've been around a while and they could be good. But so many cryptos are a scam because your money isn't decentralized. So if you're going to look to put your money into crypto, make sure it is independent of the owner and it is decentralized. Now, the reason you think your money in the bank is safe and not a scam is because you think It's decentralized. You think when your money goes into the bank, there aren't individuals or corporations that can take it. And if you thought there were individuals or corporations that could take your money when you put it in the bank, you wouldn't put it in the bank. But the problem is there are corporations that can take your money when you put it in the bank. It's called the bank because the bank is a corporation. The bank is a profit-making corporation. So most banks and most cryptos are actually not decentralized. Therefore, what you're really doing is lending your money without security to an entity that has its own profit motives. So in the property world in which I'm in, there are unfortunately 4 or 5 property companies that have gone bust in recent weeks, whether it's overtrading, whether it's they took on too much borrowing and couldn't pay back the debt. But when you lend your money, you want security, you want a first charge, you want to be able to get that money back first before any other lender when things go wrong. But most cryptos and most banks, maybe all banks, You cannot get your money back first or even last. So 3 banks went under in a week, and someone who used to work for JP Morgan says that is not the end, there will be more. Of course, we had FTX and many other cryptos that went under recently too. So what I want to do now is give you some solutions, because if you can't trust the banks and you can't trust cryptos, what can you trust? So I've got 5 quick solutions for you. Just stay with me for a couple of minutes. Number 1 is ownâ if you're going to put your money in the bank, which you have to put some money in the bank, and if you're going to put your money in crypto, only put your money in major proven banks or crypto. So I could probably only say Bitcoin. And if you want to put your money in other cryptos, have they been around 10 or 15 or 20 years? Are they decentralised? And are you putting the amount of money in relevant and linked to the risk that you're taking? I.e., more risk, less money. Okay, now in the banking crisis of 2008, Santander was actually a very healthy bank. And so, for example, that was probably one of the best banks to have your money in through that crisis. So proven, long-standing history. Okay, number 2 of 5 solutions then is to be as decentralized and diversified as possible. If you have your money in 5 well-proven banks and you have your money in as many cryptos as you can which have stood the test of time, you're less likely to get wiped out. I was speaking to someone who's got 100% of his net worth in one crypto, and he was so bullish on this crypto, 100% of his net worth, and he kept saying to me, well, 'Well, if I take my money out and decentralise and diversify it, the problem is I'm going to get less money than putting all my money in this one crypto.' This is when people go bust, when they have all their money in one asset class. So be as diversified as possible, and also decentralised. So decentralised is when ideally you can control the money, which is my third point. So my third point is have as much money as you can in asset classes that you can control. You can control your own gold, your own watches, your own physical investments. You can, to a greater degree, control your own businesses. You can control your own real estate, mostly, depending on the lenders that you have. But there's many asset classes you can't control, so try and stay away from them where possible. Number 4 is you want a nice balance between physical and online. So, you know, I have Rob.team, I have online training companies, and I have stock market investments, etc. And you would regard these as online or digital, and that's goodâ multiple streams of online income, low overhead, high margin, high speed. But I don't control those as much as I do watches and classic cars and art and gold and other physical assets. So you want a nice balance of physical and digital. Now, by the way, if you're going to be in crypto, make sure you've got cold storage. Storage offline, unhackable, and don't leave any of your money on a platform because a platform is not crypto. It's, it's basically like giving money to a bank or lending money to an entrepreneur. Okay, and then the fifth, fifth thing that you can do to beat the banks, to beat crypto, to make, manage, and multiply your own money is to increase your earning power and your income streams. So if you know that tomorrow you can earn 2, 3, 5, 10 grand, if something bad happens today, you're okay. You know you've got good earning power. If you have a bad month, you're okay because you know you've got a good month. If you go bust, you're sort of okay because you know you can start again. So increase your earning power. The more you learn, the more you earn. Your network is your net worth. And then also increase your income streams. So maybe you have membership site, software as a service, maybe you have a physical business and an online business, stock market, crypto, other physical assets. The more income streams you have, if one or two or a few get disruptedâ so for example, as interest rates have gone up, one of our properties has stopped cash flowing. Thankfully, I have hundreds more. Um, sometimes we had a flood and one of our properties stopped cash flowing. Thankfully I had hundreds more. When the stock market isn't doing so well, maybe some of my other investments are doing well. When property market isn't going up as much, maybe the rental market is, etc. So you want to increase your earning power and your income streams. So if you want the ultimate insurance against any disruption or disaster, if you want to make, manage, and multiply more money then I recommend you join Rob.team, because Rob.team is the digital financial freedom platform to help you learn, earn, and invest. And I reduced the price down when the lockdown started to help people, and I haven't put the price up since. So you can get it for a fraction of what it used to cost before lockdown. The economy isâ I think there's aâ I think there's a depression coming. And I've been saying this a while, but I really do think the economy is going to get hit big. I think the the full impact of lockdowns and, you know, the hundreds of billions overspending to finance these lockdowns. I think they're going to take years to play out. Now, there's going to be upsides to this because in every stressing hides a blessing. So if the property market crashes, you can buy cheaper assets with higher yields. If rents go up like they have been going, then your cash flows are better. There's going to be distressed assets and underpriced assets that you're going to be able to buy. But remember, you need to learn to earn. So I'll see you in Rob.team. Thanks for tuning in, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
