Dubai vs. U.K. Tax Rates (Shocking) ⛔️

Rob Moore compares Dubai and UK tax rates, showing Dubai charges 5% VAT and zero income tax versus the UK's 20% VAT and up to 45% income tax. He claims three millionaires per week are leaving Britain, and argues UK entrepreneurs need to either earn dramatically more or use tax breaks to survive the system.

Dubai versus UK tax rates. Now this is shocking and this is much worse than I originally thought. Now, probably 3 millionaires a week I know are moving to Dubai. Well, some to Portugal, some to Marbella, most to Dubai. And quite a few people have been critical, saying that I should be more supportive of the UK. Well, I'm still here, and sometimes being supportive of your own country is pointing out what's going on in reality. And so many millionaires and entrepreneurs are leaving, and you know, the Gary Stevenson brigade, the champagne socialists and the haters of anyone who's successful and wealthy. Which seems to be the British culture now, by the way. But all those people— I even have— I did an April Fool's saying I was leaving to Dubai, and a lot of people even said, 'Close the door on your way out!' I.e., they were really happy that I was going to Dubai. Well, thanks. So, you know, the tens of millions of pounds I have paid in tax in the last 20 years would leave with me. And so here's the big problem. By the way, I'm going to tell you, I'm going to compare the tax rates like for like because it's absolutely shocking. And by the way, there's quite a lot of smaller taxes that it's shocking the difference, but the major ones are the most shocking. So the problem with all the millionaires leaving is all the money leaves with them. And so our economy shrinks. And then the problem with that is there's less money in the economy. And there's less tax revenue because 0.1% earners generate 10% of tax, the top 20% generate 80%, the top 10% generate, what, 29%? Something like that. You know, so basically the top 20% generate 80% of the tax. So if you send them all abroad because the tax is so penal here, what happens is you've got a smaller economy and then all that tax revenue is gone, then they've got to therefore increase the tax revenue from the working class, from the people who are telling them to shut the door on the way out. Do people not understand? And this is just getting worse and worse and worse. Anyway, so here's a direct comparison of the tax differences between Dubai and the UK. Okay, so VAT in Dubai, it's 5%. So there's a 5% sales consumption tax in Dubai. There's a 20% sales tax, VAT, in the UK. Corporation tax in Dubai is 9%, and by the way, it's only just become 9%, and in the UK it's 25%, nearly 300% more. So if you've got a company, you've got to put 20% on top and then take 25% off. So that's basically 40% of everything you're selling gone already. Okay, and then income tax. So in Dubai, income tax is zero. In the UK, it's up to 45%. So in Dubai, we've got 5%, 9%, and 0%. In the UK, we've got 20%, 25%, and 45%. This is the difference of 50% or more. More already. Already. It's probably 55%, 60% so far. Already. Anyway, get this, inheritance tax. Okay, there's a few little flaws and breaks in the UK, but the highest bracket in the UK is 40%. In Dubai, it's 0%. There's 0% inheritance tax in Dubai. There's 40% above about £300,000 in the UK. Of course, all the farmers are getting hit, which means they're going to have to sell their farms probably at a loss. Okay, then property taxes. So in Dubai, property taxes are about 2%. So they're about 4%, but the buyer splits with the seller, which makes real sense. I mean, wow, there's some logic, there's some common sense, because Dubai is run by entrepreneurs. So you sell a property or buy a property in Dubai and you share the taxes each 50/50, 2% each. In the UK, it's 5 to 12%. 5 to 12%. So Mick has said it's a joke. These are the realities, by the way. It's not me doom-mongering. Um, someone messaged me saying, why are you so down on the UK? Surely this is really bad. It's a bad message. I know, it's just reality. I have compared like for like. So let's go again. Dubai, 0% VAT, 9% corp. 0% income, 2% property tax, 0% inheritance tax. UK: 20% VAT, 25% corp tax, up to 45% income tax, up to 12% property taxes, up to 40% inheritance taxes. So that is the like for like. Now of course there are some ratchets up and there are some breaks. Now do I think that the biz 'Business in the UK is still a good place.' Well, it's better than a lot of the developing worlds. We've got a good legal system. You know, we have still got about 12 tax breaks. We've got a lot less, but we've still got a lot. If I had the choice between not starting a business or starting a business in the UK, I would. If I was mobile and didn't have a family and all my businesses and properties here, would I consider setting up in Dubai? I would. But I am staying here and I'm sticking it out and I'm doing this content and I'm helping people. In the UK and beyond, start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money. And here's the reality, there's two things you have to do right now because I've just showed you the reality of the difference between Dubai and the UK. So number one, in, in the UK you need to make a lot more money. And now I know that expenses and costs in Dubai are more, but at least you can choose. Okay, well, that's expensive, so I won't spend as much money on that. You can't choose in the UK because it's all taken off you first. So number 1 is you have to make a lot more money in the UK if you're going to stay here. Number 2 is you absolutely must get rid of your biggest expense, which is tax. At least a divorce only costs half. Your mortgage is nothing compared to the tax you pay. Tax is your single biggest expense by a country mile in the UK. So this is why I've adapted the Moneymaker Summit. So the Moneymaker Summit used to be about starting and scaling a business, making, managing, and multiplying money, starting your side hustle, or growing your business and increasing your income. And it still is that. However, there's a lot more content now on getting your tax bill down and running a business in the UK, or at least having to declare your money in the UK, and ways around many of the tax— basically finding the tax breaks not really loopholes, just tax breaks. There's 12 main ones. So yes, to make more, Moneymaker Summit was all about making more money, but now to keep more and to be able to run a really good business based in the UK. And by the way, we help you with remote, mobile, no stock, no premises, no staff, online, no overhead type businesses. So if you like the idea of learning all of this, I recommend you come and register at the Moneymaker Summit. So the link is robmoore.live/money. Let me just share it with you. Now you'll need to type this in as I say it: robmoore.live/money. Now there are 2 ticket levels. I actually do subsidize some people, so if you qualify, I'll actually pay for your ticket. Pay for the 3 days, pay for the speakers, pay for the venue, pay for the AV, pay for everything. You just have to turn up. You do your bit, I'll do mine. But they're selective and sometimes I have special offers on them and sometimes they're gone. But the super VIP golden ticket upgrades are the best because you get to meet the speakers, you get to have dinner with me, you get to meet all the entrepreneurs who've been doing business 20 years each because I only pick the best entrepreneurs. Who have made consistent profits over decades. You get bonus Q&A sessions with them, money mindset sessions with them. There's the 15-module How to Raise Money Masterclass online, all on the upgraded VIP ticket. So to find the details, the dates, the logistics, and to get yourself booked on, the link is robmoore.live/money. robmoore.live/money. Money. And what we're specifically adding now, hours worth of content into Moneymaker Summit, is making exponentially more to pay for all the taxes and to run a business in the UK, and then saving a lot more by reducing your tax bill and knowing how to invest it and protect it. So the link is robmoore.live/money. Anna has said here that here in Dubai you can see how much the leaders are doing for the country. Unfortunately, all the leaders in the UK are ruining the country. That's not even in dispute, I don't think. And that's not me being political, it's just the reality. And it's really sad to see. And I'm sticking it out and I'm putting my neck on the line. And I did say I'm going to try and be less political with my content. You know, comparing taxes in Dubai and the UK isn't political, it's just, you know, reality. So if you're struggling financially, if you're feeling there's a bit of doom in the UK, if you don't know what business to start, if you want multiple income streams, if you feel like you're paying too much tax, if you feel like you don't get a choice because you're paying it first, then you need to come to the Moneymaker Summit and learn how to get out of this trap. So the link is robmoore.live/money. I definitely recommend you upgrade to the VIP ticket level because of all the benefits on that for just a very small investment, um, wouldn't even cost you, um, one cup of coffee a day for 2 weeks, I think, or not very long to get the VIP upgraded ticket. Okay, so let me know what you think about the UK versus Dubai. Please let me know in the comments. Um, and a lot of people have been saying I've been critical of the UK and Dubai isn't all that good. Well, look at this. In Dubai, it's 5% VAT, 9% corporation tax, 0% income tax, 0% IHT, 2% property tax. In the UK, it's 20% VAT, 25% corporation tax, 45% income tax. Yeah, the higher bracket, but like, the lower brackets are just not— you can't even assume you're going to be a lower tax band because otherwise you're just going broke. You've got 40% inheritance tax in the UK and you've got up to 12% property tax. So thanks for tuning in. I'll keep speaking out about these issues. I'll see you at the Moneymaker Summit, which is robmoore.live/money. I'll be there. I'll meet you personally. I'll happily sign your books. I'll have a chat with you in the breaks. 3 days with 6 entrepreneurs who've been in business 20 years and navigated through difficult times like this. Helping you start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money, build multiple streams of recurring income. I'll see you there. Thanks for tuning in. You must protect yourself, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
