The UK economy shrank 0.3% in August. The presenter calls it a crash driven by inflation, interest-rate hikes, Brexit, and energy crises, and predicts a recession. He recommends converting cash to gold or Bitcoin, staying liquid to buy dips, and starting side businesses.

So breaking news is the economy has unexpectedly crashed. Unexpectedly? Well, this is what the BBC is saying. The BBC are saying the UK economy unexpectedly shrank in August. Unexpectedly? Really? So no one's expecting a recession, a crash, or a depression? Come on. So, um, the stats are just out. The, um, the August growth in the UK is -0.3%. Apparently the economy was expected to grow. Well, unless there's a dramatic change in policy, I can't see how the economy is going to grow. Quote, the economy shrank in August with both production and services falling back. Well, look, the UK government's plan is growth and a higher standard of living for everyone, yet the IMF and the Bank of England are putting a lot of pressure on the UK government with their mini-budget and their plans which I believe contradicts their plans for growth. So for growth, you probably need to reduce taxation, increase production, increase economy, increase manufacturing, increase spending. And when things are more expensive than ever, that disincentivizes spending. Um, now a recession is defined as 2 quarters of negative growth. Well, um, I think a big recession is coming. Lindy has said there will be a crash by the end of the month. So my question to you is, do you think a recession is coming or a correction is coming? Or do you think a depression is coming? And it's all very well the Bank of England coming in and putting pressure on the UK government and the Bank of England printing more and more and more and more and more money, but in the end all it does is delay the inevitable. Brexit, pandemic, lockdown, massive taxation, massive inflation, now increasing interest rate rises, energy crisis, food crisis, supply chain crisis. All those things lead towards an upcoming recession, correction, or depression. And in the end, you can only delay it for so long. But the longer you delay it by keeping interest rates artificially low for, what, 12 years, in the end it just happens anyway. But everything goes out of control, and the Bank of England are really scared of the really weak pound. Um, disattracting foreign investment. They're worried about foreign investment leaving the UK. They're worried about, um, pensions in, in the UK collapsing. So they've been intervening on printing loads of money and printing and buying back bonds, but they've just said that this bond buying intervention will end on Friday. So all the signs are there— dramatically increasing interest rates, Already soaring inflation, um, ending of intervention of the Bank of England on Friday, really weak pound, really high taxation the last 2 years and 7 months since March 2020. It's all coming. Now look, this is not me doomsdaying. Someone called me the biggest doomsday monger in Europe. This is not me doomsdaying. This is just me talking about what's going on in the economy. And then at the end of all of my videos, as you know if you watch them regularly, I give solutions. So before I give some solutions here, Sean Paul has said there'll be bargains everywhere, there will be opportunities. Dana said tax is theft, inflation is tax, and tax is theft. Um, that's one way of looking at it. So my question to you is, do you think that this crash or this correction in August? Do you think this was unexpected? Because personally, I expected it. Next thing is, do you think a recession or a correction or a depression is coming? Let me know in the comments. And if so, um, when do you think it's coming? And how big and bad do you think it will be? Now, many of you I can see on the comments are saying that this is all part of the plan, the New World Order, the Great Reset. Um, the— what is it— 2030 Agenda. I can see all of you commenting on it. Please explain a bit more what you mean by that. Lindy expects the recession. I expect it too. I think there's lots of monetary policy that's delayed it and delayed it, and in some ways that's good because they're obviously trying to make our lives more manageable from an economic standpoint. But in the end, the longer you delay it, the worse it gets and the more catastrophic this is. And it might not just be a recession, it might be a depression. So by the way, this is breaking news today that the economy unexpectedly shrunk and crashed in August, but that's not, not breaking news to me. It's not unexpected at all. Okay, so here are some solutions, my friends. Number 1 is yes, you can control your costs. Don't buy anything unless necessary, or don't buy anything that's gone up a lot in price. However, You can't really save that much, can you? Most people are probably already on the breadline anyway. But what you can do is protect your cash from inflation and get your depreciating liability of cash into an appreciating asset like gold, like real estate, like, um, a small amount maybe in Bitcoin. This is not advice, this is just my experience and opinion. The next thing you can do is move away from centralized money to decentralized money. So centralized money is cash, savings, bonds, etc. Decentralized money is in real estate that you own, gold, Bitcoin, and maybe your own online information-based business. So that's the next thing you can do. The next thing you can do, the third thing you can do, is prepare and be ready. Fail to plan, plan to fail. So if you're ready for the recession, the correction, and the depression if you're ready for the bargains, if you're liquid. And notice I didn't say have loads of cash because inflation is still a lot higher than interest rates, so cash is a depreciating liability. Now of course, if inflation go— and interest rates go up to 15%, holding cash is good if inflation is lower, but it's not like that at the moment. So, um, you want to make sure that you're liquid, which means when the property prices crash, when businesses go for pennies in the pound, when asset prices come down, you can get in. You can buy low. Observe the masses, do the opposite. Be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy. These are the 3 practical things that you can do. The next thing that you can do is start your side hustle, start your information business, your online business. Turn your content into cash flow, your information into income. What you already know into cash flow. IP stands for intellectual property, but I call it information profits. So you can also build out your online course, your membership site, your information-based business. So there are 4 practical, tactical solutions that you can do to not just survive but thrive through the upcoming recession and depression, which apparently was unexpected in August, but it's not unexpected to me. Now, if you'd like to learn how to do this from a practical and tactical and step-by-step standpoint, protecting cash from devaluation, investing into assets that produce income, starting your side hustles and your extra income streams, learn, earn, and invest, make, manage, and multiply money, then I recommend you join Rob.team. Um, the Bank of England have been, um, buying back the bonds that they've been creating to try and disincentivize Um, overseas investment selling and bailing because of the weak pound. Um, and they're stopping that on Friday. And August economy dropped 0.3%. It was apparently expected to grow, but I don't know where they were getting that information from.
