Electric Car tax scam (Warning)

Rob Moore argues the UK government broke its promise on electric car tax incentives, introducing new taxes while EV values crashed and electricity prices soared. He warns that rising National Insurance, Capital Gains Tax, and Corporation Tax will force landlords and entrepreneurs to pass costs to tenants and employees, and urges viewers to start companies and use tax planning to protect themselves.

Electric car tax scam, grab, bait and switch warning. So you should be outraged by this, and it thoroughly— it upsets me to say the least when the government bait and switch you on tax, and they do it all the time. Now I've been ranting a bit about all these tax increases that are coming under the new Labour government. And people have been saying to me, well, it's not Labour's fault. You know, they've only been in a few months. I think it's what, 100 days now, something like that. I don't buy it because you were lured in. Come to Daddy. Here, boy. Get an electric car. Electric prices are cheap. It's great for the environment. We're going to save the planet together. Buy the electric cars in a company. Have loads of tax breaks. Breaks, we're all going to be happy. And then bang, electricity went through the roof, and the government could have controlled that. Then electric car prices plummeted, so everyone who was forced or bribed into buying electric cars, all of a sudden now— for example, a Porsche Taycan, top of the range, might have been, what, 150 grand? Now they're 50 grand. So someone's got lured in by the government, the tax breaks, the leverage, the emotional leverage of helping the environment. They buy a high-end electric car, they think they're going to get all these tax breaks, they don't get any, they have a £100 grand depreciation, and now bang, the government are putting car tax on electric vehicles when they said they never would. And people fall for this shit. So for example, Labour said they absolutely will not put taxes up. And now they're using semantics of language. Well, I didn't say I wouldn't put taxes up to people with 6 toes who live in Mars. Caveat. And now it looks like they're going to absolutely raid, rape, and pillage entrepreneurs and business owners purely because they said they weren't going to put up tax to employees. Here's the thing though, if they whack up national insurance, they whack up capital gains tax, which it looks like they're going to, then all that's going to happen is the tenants and the employees are going to have to be passed the bill. Because how else can these companies and these landlords survive? So the very people they bribe into voting for them that they're going to protect, and they create all these entitled, wokie people. Who think they're going to get handouts from Labour. "Oh, Labour are going to give me all the money and all these evil billionaires and millionaires and employees, oh, I'm going to get lots of gifts and welfare." And then all that ends up happening is they go for the entrepreneurs, go for the landlords, those guys either have to go bust or they have to pass the expenses on. And people fall for this shit all the time. And it happens all the time. And you should be pissed off about it. You should be sharing this. You should be doing your own content. And you should be speaking up about it. So thankfully, I didn't get mugged off by Labour. I kept my now 8 petrol-guzzling supercars. And now I don't own cars that have gone down £100,000 each, that are taxed anyway, where the electricity is often more than the fuel. What an absolute bait-and-switch tax grab. What do they think we are, fucking stupid? What do they— well, clearly as a nation we are. Clearly. Now look, I get it. Voting for Labour or voting for Conservative was voting for which one of the two murderers do you choose to come in and murder your family. We weren't really given much choice. Like, I get it. However, there is a point to this video. Number 1, be careful when you're lured and conned and baited, switched, and bribed and missold by governments and central banks. Number one. Number two is make sure you have a backup plan. A lot of people bought these electric vehicles, no backup plan, they've lost bloody 100 grand, um, and now they get taxed. And the third thing that's most important is you need to manage your own tax affairs. You need to pay yourself first and you need to pay tax last. Because if you, you own a company, you're an entrepreneur, you're a small business owner, even if it's just a side hustle, even if it's just a few hours a week, even if you just start making a few grand a year, at least you've got your own company. Then what you can do is you want your VAT registered, you can claim that back. So that's a saving there. Then you can offset some expenses through your company, which, um, by the way, the government actually want you to do this. They don't market it and publicize it, but secretly they need you and I because we employ everyone and we create all the economy and we pay for the public entitled sector and civil service. You know, the old boys' network. We pay for the lot. So they know it. So they don't really want to bite the hand that feeds them, even though they do. And they run their own racket so they can kind of stop— well, anyway, before I go down that rabbit hole. When you become an entrepreneur, when you start a business, you can claim VAT back once you've got registered. You can change a lot of your spending habits to spend within the company so there's not an income tax event, which saves you 45% income tax, and you can run various expenses through which get your corporation tax bill down as well. And actually you can find a load of these on the government website because like I said, they kind of need us, they just don't make it easy to find the information. Get a half-decent accountant, and you can probably halve your tax bill realistically. But you can't when you're employed, because what happens is you get your wages and you think, oh, I earned £5,000 this month. And then you get a slip through and it says gross pay £5,000, tax, National Insurance, student loans, you are left with £2,200. Go fuck yourself. And that is a con, actually. It's a con that you get your money last and the government get their money first, but there's potholes all over the road, and theft is basically legal. I nearly went on another tangent there of theft. Yeah, anyway, and we're paying for all of this. You pay for the doctors twice because you pay for the NHS, you can't get in, then you have to go private. Now there's tax on school fees. Anyway, solutions, solutions. So If you'd like to start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money, get your tax bill down and your income streams up, if you'd like to have control of your finances, be decentralized, sovereign, autonomous, i.e., you keep most of your money, learn how to invest in assets that you can keep, um, then I recommend you come and join us at the Moneymaker Summit Live. Um, and it's coming soon. And actually, up until a couple of weeks ago, didn't even talk about this ever on my Facebook page in the 18 years I've been running, um, business and money events. All right, so quick summary then is you got lured in and scammed if you've got an electric vehicle, because at times your electricity's been more than fuel, even though it's supposed to be a lot cheaper. The depreciation has gone wild. Do you know there's 13 car companies begging the government to bring in, bring back and bring in the tax breaks because they can't sell these electric vehicles because there's massive depreciation on these electric vehicles. It's an absolute scam considering they want us to be interested in helping the environment. And now they're sticking car tax— not company tax, there's loads of those— car tax on electric vehicles, which they said they'd never do. On my LinkedIn, my posts are going a bit wild, and people sometimes defend Labour. Oh well, Labour's only been in 100 days, it's the Conservatives' fault. No, no, Labour are the ones that are looking to put the car tax on electric vehicles. That's not Conservatives. Labour are the ones that are looking at putting up capital gains tax, corporation tax, national insurance. And I know it feels a bit ranty and moany. A few, a few people just say, oh, well, all you do is mind run. No, you stay to the end of all of my videos, you get solutions. And the solution to this is only one: have your own company, start your own company, learn what you can offset, get to the VAT threshold, claim the VAT back. Claim the VAT back on what you buy as well as, um, basically everything you purchase. You can claim VAT back on, run legitimate expenses through, get your corporation tax down, reduce the amount of income that you draw based on changing the way that you live. By the way, this is all legitimate. You can go and look on HMRC website, speak to an accountant, and know what you can offset and what you can't offset. I have two rules: run it by a good accountant make sure it goes, clears checks on my tax investigation assurance, then I'm probably good. Okay, now they can change the rules, they can go back 7 years and come for you, but ultimately they need you. And as much as I have been a bit critical, I do think in the future as things get worse and people leave for Dubai and Portugal and it becomes unsustainable and profit margins reduce, I think they're going to have to go and incentivize entrepreneurship again. I think they're going to have to give us some tax breaks again because they're going to need to fuel up the economy somehow. And just more tax and less spending— I mean, do they not get it? They want economic growth and they're spending less and taxing more. Like, Fucking primary school, that's not going to create growth. Primary school, that could be taught at. Oh, if we spend less in our economy and if we take off the people who create the economy— 11-year-old Billy, does tax— does the economy grow or does the economy reduce? What do you think, Billy? Grow or reduce? What the fuck? Anyway, come meet me. Come spend a couple of 3 days with me. Come and grab everything I know about business and money in as much as I can squeeze into 3 days.
