Elon Musk Fears A.I More than NUKES 😱

In this YouTube commentary, the presenter discusses Elon Musk’s recent statements that artificial intelligence poses a greater existential threat than nuclear weapons, citing a private AI safety meeting between Musk and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. The video highlights Musk’s concerns about humanoid robots, AI companions for children, AI as a patient tutor, and the potential for AI to render most jobs obsolete while also creating new opportunities. Various viewpoints are presented, including optimistic takes from Will.i.am and pessimistic views from "Steve" and others, illustrating the polarized discourse around AI safety. The presenter then shifts to a practical angle, outlining how entrepreneurs can monetize AI through hyper‑productivity, admin automation, recruiting, and AI‑driven business services, and promotes an upcoming free AI masterclass with registration links. The narrative also touches on broader societal implications such as dehumanization, cyber‑attack risks, government regulation, and the paradox of AI being both a destructive force and a tool for empowerment.

Elon Musk fears AI more than nukes. Elon Musk has publicly stated that he believes artificial intelligence is more of an existential threat than nuclear weapons, which is a huge statement. I mean, really, that's kind of like Terminator Skynet, um, version 2.0. So let me know what you think in the comments first, because I'm going to talk about an AI conference between the UK Prime Minister and Elon Musk, and some quite controversial statements that have come out of this. This was done behind closed doors with no media, although I've got some excerpts, some snippets, um, a few little sneak peeks for you. But what do you think about the threat of AI? Do you believe that AI is an existential threat worse than nuclear weapons? Let me know what you think in the comments. Yes, as big a threat as nuclear. No, not as big a threat as nuclear. So there was this sort of private conference which was kind of publicly marketed, but no one could get in. The, the, the press and media couldn't get in. And the UK Prime Minister and Elon Musk were talking about the safety concerns of AI. And get this for a, a first quote that Elon Musk said. He said that there is a safety concern, especially with humanoid robots. At least a car can't chase you into a building and up a tree. So, um, humanoid robots— I don't— have you seen that Boston Dynamics video where it timelines you through the first Boston Dynamics robot, which couldn't even walk, to now one doing backflips and on an assault course and almost defying gravity and being able to move better than a human? And, and I think that's what Elon Musk means by these AI humanoid robots. So I have a different take, um, but I'd love your thoughts. Is AI an existential threat? Now, um, what I look for in AI is how can an entrepreneur, a start or scale-up, someone who wants to create a better life for themselves, make, manage, and multiply money. How can someone like that leverage AI? So ChatGPT here that Adam uses on a daily basis, for example. So can it be monetized? Can you become hyperproductive? Can you recruit? Can you get all your admin done, etc., on AI? And actually, if you stay with me for about more minutes. That's something I'm going to cover, um, in a moment. Um, now something else that Elon said, which really— this sort of shocked me a bit because I've definitely felt like human interaction— I mean, when I, um, met my wife, I had to approach her cold, never— don't know her, gotta pluck up the courage to approach her. And now I have seen people, they are using AI, um, to basically date people and using it where they don't have the confidence of their own words to use AI to, to get men or women. And that for me is a bit of a shocker. Um, maybe I'm a bit old. Now Elon said this, this really fascinated me. He said, one of my sons has trouble making friends. And an AI friend would be great for him. And I'm not sure— I, I'm not sure if an AI friend would be good for my son and daughter. I'd actually like my son and daughter to make real friends and not hide behind ChatGPT or an algorithm or anything like that. I wouldn't want my children to use AI to build a relationship with someone or get a friend. What are your thoughts on that, by the way? Because we could end up dehumanizing ourselves. Now, um, Marcus said AI is great for basic tasks— letters, proposals, legal principles, appeals for parking, etc. Yeah, so really what you're using it there for, Mark, is admin tasks that otherwise might cost you £15 or £20 an hour to outsource. Um, you're using a bank of knowledge, um, specialist knowledge that you, um, you could leverage, and I think that's really smart. Um, now, um, AI, uh, Elon Musk also said AI could be the best and most patient tutor. Now, I personally think that some of the tutors in school, especially with the ones that talk about money and economics and business, I personally think that, um, they're underqualified. And, you know, I want my kids to earn more than my teachers by age 14, and I, I think that that's possible. Um, so might an AI tutor be better than some of the school tutors? Well, maybe they might be more patient, they might be, um, help you on more of an individual level. Ah, now Manny has made a good point about, um, a cyber attack. So obviously if we're all on AI and we, we have a central bank digital currency, then yeah, we are absolutely exposed to everything being cyber attacked from us. So that is a very good point. I mean, if you think about the paradox of AI, AI can make our life easier, faster, and better, and AI could make our lives much harder and more controlled. You know, it's quite— if you think about the speed of money flow and being able to tap and pay and someone tap and receive money in an instant, that's very good for you. That's high speed, low friction. But then if all of your money is with some bank or payment provider and they just like, well, we don't like the way you're you're spending your money. Sorry, you can't have it. So that's the upside and downside. Now Steve has said all he sees is doom. I actually interviewed Will.i.am, and he's big into AI, and, um, Will was very optimistic, and, and he says humanity is overall good, humanity is overall in a good place, and AI is overall good. Now Steve is only seeing doom, so I think you'll probably see what you are, not what it is. I'll give you an example of this. A lot of people are saying, oh, AI is going to take all the jobs, it's going to take my job, I won't have a job. That's only for people who aren't disruptive, adaptive, innovative. It's only for people who are quite low qualified and aren't prepared to requalify. It's only for people who can't see the upside opportunity. Now, this is something that Elon Musk has said. He said there will come a point where no job is needed. You can have a job if you want, One for personal satisfaction, but AI will do everything. What do you think about that? Now, I think AI will take a lot of lower-level jobs, admin jobs, research jobs, but I think AI will also create a lot of jobs. Now, I can't tell you what they are because that is the future, which I can't predict. But, you know, managing and running and operating AI, uh, and providing services with AI, that— there's a, a thought and an example there. Um, Elon Musk did say this, um, he said, we are seeing the most destructive force in history here. Do you agree with him there? Do you think AI is the most destructive force? Do you think that AI could be more dangerous than nuclear weapons? He then went on to say, it is both good and bad. One of the challenges in the future will be how do we find meaning in life. So it's ironic because Elon has said, oh, my my son who finds it hard to get friends, he would be good for him to have an AI friend. And then he said, how do we find the meaning of life? So I think there's a, a real paradox, um, going on here. Now look, um, the angle that I like to look at AI is how can it be monetized? Because, you know, I help start and scale up entrepreneurs. I help you make, manage, and multiply money. That's what I do. It's probably why you're following me. So how can you monetize AI? How can you become hyperproductive using AI? How can you recruit using AI? How can you do research using AI? How can you write using AI? How can you get all your admin done using AI? Which could save you a few grand a month, could save you a lot of your time, could help you launch a business. So if you'd like to learn all this stuff, like monetizing and being hyperproductive on AI, I'm actually doing a brand new AI masterclass and it's coming up in, I think about a week or so, depending on when you watch this. So, um, give me a yes in the comments if you would like to get a place on this new AI masterclass. And by the way, it's not a 60-minute preview, it's actually going to be a 3-hour deep dive live masterclass. I've got a couple of my tech guys coming in and I'm going to interview them. They're proper techie geeks, they love AI, they use AI a lot in my companies, and I'm going to teach them— I'm going to get them to teach you how to monetize AI. What are the income opportunities? What, what are the areas that are going to be disrupted so you can see the upside? How to be hyperproductive, how to basically get AI to be your outsourced admin assistant. So type yes if you'd like access to this. In fact, to tell you what I'll do, I'll give you the direct link. So the direct link, and I've got a nice short one for you, it's really easy, is tiny.cc/aimc. That's tiny.cc/aimc, as in AI masterclass. The link is shared. If you go right now to tiny.cc/aimc, if you go there, you can register for this AI masterclass. I'm not going to charge you for this. It's a thank you for following my work. I thought it was the perfect time now that there's been this big AI conference in the UK. In fact, I think day 2 is today. Rishi Sunak is getting involved. He's talking about safety of AI, and both Elon and Rishi believe there should be some kind of neutral referee in the AI world. I mean, that's what a government is supposed to do, be a neutral manager of fairness and free markets and fair competition. I don't think the government do that good a job of that, so how on earth is someone going to be a neutral referee in AI? And if AI has already been given, you know, the, the kill switch, and if AI is already more intelligent than humans, which Elon has said it is, Is Pandora's box already opened? Anyway, I'm not a doom monger. Some people think, oh Rob, you're a bit of a doom monger. No, no, I just report on what's going on in the world because I think there's a lot of doom going on in the world. And then I help you turn that doom into opportunity, like cashing in on the crash, for example, or, you know, becoming a millionaire in the recession. And I believe AI is probably the best business opportunity that I have ever seen. And I'm all in on it. I've got tech guys working on it. We're building AI models. I'm actually building a robot. I'll tell you about that later. So if you want to learn how to monetize AI, how to become hyperproductive, how to basically leverage and outsource most of your admin, basically it be your own personal assistant, how to recruit using AI, how to scale up using AI, how to start a business using AI, Register for the AI Masterclass. It's tiny.cc/aic. That's tiny.cc/aic. So I'll see you on that. Go and do it right now. There'll be no recordings or replays. Um, so thanks for tuning in. Just, I'll let you go on and that link now. I'm just going to do a quick summary for those of you that tuned in late. So Elon Musk fears AI more than nuclear weapons. There is currently an AI safety conference going on hosted by the UK Prime Minister. He didn't allow any media in, but I've managed to get some snippets and soundbites and sneak peeks, and here they are. Number 1, this is a quote from Elon Musk. He said, there is a safety concern, especially with humanoid robots. At least the car can't chase you into a building and up a tree. He then went on to say, one of my sons has trouble making friends, and an AI friend would be great for him. AI could be the best and most— the most patient tutor. I mean, maybe teaching jobs are going to be disrupted. And he also said, we are seeing the most destructive force in history here. There will come a point where no job is needed. You can have a job if you want, one for personal satisfaction, but AI will do Everything. It's both good and bad, and one of the challenges in the future will be how do we find the meaning in life. Neil has said the government will fuck it up. I kind of agree with you a bit, Neil, there. I think the government, certainly the UK one, they don't intervene when they should. They need to fund the police more, they need to sort out the NHS, you know, things like that, that they don't intervene when they should. And then when they shouldn't intervene, like locking us down all the time and not paying, not overcharging us in tax, then they do intervene. So I can't imagine that the government will be a good arbiter, a neutral arbiter of AI, but I guess that's going to be their job. It's a bit scary. So what I want to do quite quickly is for myself and for you to help us leverage AI, monetize AI, get hyperproductive using AI, maybe get us a bit more decentralized. Wouldn't it be good to not have too much control from the government and the central banks and Maybe we can use AI to do this. I've got my tech guys working on some AI systems for us. We're using AI a lot more in our business now. So if you'd like to learn from my techie geeks how to monetize AI, become hyperproductive using AI, recruit using AI, have your own AI personal assistant, then just register for this AI masterclass that I have. I'm going to put the link in one more time. This is the last time I'm talking about it. On this live. So if you haven't already gone, go to tiny.cc/AIMasterclass. Okay, so, um, are you seeing more downside in AI or upside in AI? Are you scared for humanity like Elon is, or do you think he's going to create new leverageable and monetizable opportunities? Let me know if you see more downside or upsides, um, in AI in the comments. Um, let me know if you think the government would do a good job of being the referee. Elon and Rishi said we need a referee, we need a neutral arbiter in AI. Will the government do a good job of that? Let me know what you think in the comments. I'll get in the comments and chat with you after I finished. And then also, if you wouldn't mind sharing this, um, I got some weird shenanigans going on with the algorithmic AIs on social media. Um, I can tell you that some of my posts are definitely getting controlled and restricted. If you are a follower of mine and you like my work and you think I do some good subjects, I wonder if you wouldn't mind, um, sharing this and just sort of helping me combat the Orwellian algorithms. All right, so let me know what you think in the comments. Maria said, if I— if Elon is so scared, why is he developing AI? Well, he exited ChatGPT, I believe, because he didn't think that they were using AI with, um, good human concern. And, and so I guess what Elon loves to do is come in and disrupt. Disrupted cars with Tesla, disrupted, um, by social media by buying Twitter. And I guess he would— I'm going to assume that he would be doing the same with AI. Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments. Hit the share button. I'll see you on the AI Masterclass, tiny.cc/AIMC. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. Thanks for tuning in.
