Elon Musk is Making a BIG Mistake

Elon Musk is rebranding Twitter as X, an everything app combining social media, banking, and ride-hailing like WeChat, targeting a $250 billion valuation. The speaker admires Musk's ambition but warns that concentrating this much power in one person is risky. He then pitches Rob.team, his £0.20-a-day platform for financial education and entrepreneurship.

So breaking news is that Twitter is closing down. Um, this is official. So firstly, I would like to ask you, do you think that the beginning of the end of Twitter is good or bad? Obviously Elon Musk has come in, he's shaken things up at Twitter, he put what, $44 billion in, and now Twitter is closing down. And Twitter's been what, Nearly 20 years a social media platform. So, um, what's just happened is Elon Musk has changed the name of Twitter to X. And this vision that Elon Musk has for X, which will replace Twitter, is an everything app. So I don't know if you know, um, what WeChat is. Let me know in the comments if you know what WeChat is and how that works. Um, if you look at Facebook that became Meta, um, if you look at Microsoft now in AI, many of these big, big companies and entrepreneurs, they seem to want to own the entire world and do everything. So for example, Elon Musk's vision for X, formerly known as Twitter, is to make it the biggest financial institution the world. He wants to make it a peer-to-peer mobile platform. He wants you to be able to earn interest on your money on X, just like you might in a bank. He wants to do ride-hailing. He wants to do food delivery. He literally wants Twitter to become X, to become the everything app. And I'm not sure about this. Part of me thinks I really like Elon. He's disruptive. I like that he's open, he's got humor. I think he likes to create value. I think he cares what people think. I think he's done a lot of good in the world already. And so, as an entrepreneur, I really admire Elon Musk a lot. But when one human gets too much power, that usually ends badly. No matter how well-intentioned that human was at the start. And of course, SpaceX and Tesla and Twitter and now X, the everything app. Will we all just be Elon Musk's porn? Um, so let me know what you think. Do you think it's good what Elon Musk is doing and disrupting? Um, or do you think he's going to be getting too much power? Now, um, he admitted that he only ended up buying Twitter because he was forced to. And at the moment, it's worth apparently about half of what he paid for. So clearly Elon Musk is going to need to get an ROI on Twitter. I think they want the Everything app, the X app, to have about a $250 billion valuation. And apparently Twitter currently has about $21 billion valuation. Valuation. So right now Elon is way down. So that's the breaking news. It is official, um, that soon Twitter will be no longer— I guess like Facebook became Meta, Twitter will become X. X, the vision for Elon Musk, and X is an everything app. The biggest financial institution in the world, a money lender, a peer-to-peer mobile platform, earn interest on your money in X, ride hail with X, food delivery with X. And I am overall a fan of Elon Musk for sure. I think his intentions are pretty good. He's a big, um, supporter of freedom of speech, which I think is vital. I think him coming in and buying Twitter and, um, turning that into a more free open-source platform, I think that that was really good. But it's still early days. But I just worry when one human has too much power. Oh, power can corrupt. So let me know what you think in the comments. Um, now look, I don't want to create an everything app. I just want to do what I do. And what I do is help entrepreneurs start and scale their business, help you make, manage, and multiply your money, help you gain better financial education, knowledge, give you support and guidance in a side hustle or building recurring income or investing in assets, getting your tax bill down and your income streams up. That's what I do. If you sort of don't know the extent to what I do, and I've written, what, 17, 18 books on the subject. I've been doing it for 17 years as an entrepreneur, 340 property units, I have 1,350 tenants, the biggest property training company in the UK, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So this is what I do. And if you'd like to maybe leverage my 17 years' experience, my $150 million in revenue, I recommend you join Rob.team. So just type in rob.team. In fact, I'm building a brand new platform, so the prices will go up and you can lock it in at the lowest price. And also, it used to be a lot more before lockdown, but I reduced the price in lockdown to help people and I haven't put it up since. So you just type in rob.team. I'll see you in the members area. Um, and let me know what you think about Elon Musk closing down Twitter as we know it. Turning it into an everything app, calling it X. And his vision is to make it the biggest financial institution in the world, to make it a peer-to-peer mobile platform. So you can use it like a bank and earn interest on your money. You can ride-hail, you can have food delivery. Let me know what you think about this, um, and the fact that Elon Musk seems to be doing everything and having a lot of power. Is that good or bad for humanity? Thanks for tuning in, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
