Elon Musk Pulling Twitter Deal? 😳

Elon Musk is threatening to back out of his $44 billion Twitter deal, claiming the platform has far more spam and fake accounts than the 5% disclosed. His lawyers argue Twitter materially breached the agreement by hiding data on bot accounts and shadow-banning.

Elon Musk is threatening to pull out of his acquisition of Twitter. Now, Elon Musk and Twitter have been at loggerheads for weeks. Initially, Elon Musk looked like he'd done the deal, his $44 billion takeover of Twitter, uh, and it's now really on the rocks. And there's a standoff. So Elon Musk, he did the deal based on there being no more than 5% spam fake accounts. Elon Musk believes that there may be many more and he's asking for Twitter to prove the number of fake spam accounts. And this is where the negotiations have stalled and where Twitter and Elon Musk are at loggerheads. Now, if Elon Musk pulls out of the deal, he has to pay Twitter $1 billion. So obviously this is a big thing, not something that he can just lightly walk away from. Now, I believe Elon Musk's been taking some stick Some people are saying, oh, this is a negotiation tactic, this is what they do at the 11th hour to drop the price. But let's be honest, if you were buying Twitter and you thought there were 5% spam fake accounts and there were 10 or 15 or 20%, you might want to pull out of that deal, or you, you might at least want that factored into the price. So this is a statement from Elon Musk's lawyer. As Twitter's prospective owner, Mr. Musk is clearly entitled to the requested data to enable him to prepare for transitioning Twitter's business to his ownership and to facilitate his transaction financing. To do both, he must have a complete and accurate understanding of the very core of Twitter's business model and its active user base. Based on Twitter's behavior today and the company's latest correspondence in particular, Mr. Musk believes the company is actively resisting and thwarting his information rights. This is a clear material breach of Twitter's obligations under the merger agreement, and Mr. Musk reserves all rights resulting therefrom, including his right not to consummate the transaction and his right to terminate the merger agreement. Lawyer speak. Basically, he wants, um, transparent information on the fake spam accounts, which apparently Twitter are not giving. Now, why wouldn't they give this account data if what they said was true? So I'm really interested in this. I have a horse in this. I don't know what you think. Let me know in the comments. Do you want Elon Musk to take over Twitter or not? Do you think this is Elon stalling as a negotiation ploy? Because, you know, I'm a bit of a fan of Elon Musk, but a lot of people are critical of him and they think he's got other ulterior motives that are not clear. In fact, I talked to Matt Laticier today, the famous England and Southampton footballer who basically got cancelled off of Sky, and he said, look, I thought he'd be a big fan of Elon Musk and what Elon Musk is doing with Twitter, and he said, well, let's wait and see because I'm not sure of his motives. You know, will he impose a transparent algorithm So, you know, why would we want Elon Musk to purchase Twitter? One, so that the algorithm can be transparent and opaque, so that Twitter can't be used to manipulate political voting or shadow banning certain accounts. That would be why we would want a transparent algorithm. The next thing is free speech and allowing anyone to have freedom of speech and not get cancelled or deplatformed if the social media channel deems it to be. Like they did ban Donald Trump, for example. That might be another reason why we want Elon Musk. I think if Twitter is privatised, that would be good because obviously a lot of social media channels aren't privatised. They're owned by some very powerful shareholders who we won't mention. Here. So this deal has gone on and on and on. I'm just going to say what I want to happen. I'm backing Elon Musk. He's the horse. I think social media needs massive disruption. I think that big tech and mainstream media that's turned into social media, social media the new mainstream media, I think it needs disrupting. I think it needs to be more transparent. We need to know what these algorithms are. We need to stop shadow banning and banning and canceling everyone who doesn't subscribe to the, the narrative and then the rhetoric. And I think it's really important, and I felt that social media has needed disruption for a long time. And I was really surprised when Elon Musk came in because I thought what would happen is a new disruptive social media channel or two or three, you know, like Getter and Rumble and other channels, would slowly and surely disrupt away like Clubhouse did for a bit. But let's be honest, these big tech social channels, they have billions, they can just crush them. Whereas Elon Musk owning Twitter, he essentially takes an already huge social media platform And if he could make it more decentralized, um, more free of speech, uh, and more transparent, this could be a huge win for social media, a huge win for you, a huge, huge win for free speech and avoiding this political and governmental manipulation. So let me know what you think. Will this Elon Musk deal happen? Are you a fan of it? What do you think is really going on? But he has threatened to pull out, and for me this is bad news, so I'd love him not to pull out. Twitter, you should have nothing to hide. Give him the data for goodness sake. And you probably did bullshit about how many fake accounts you've got, um, or spam accounts. So be honest about it. It'll probably drop the price a bit. And let's just stop all this nonsense and let Elon Musk buy Twitter. Let me know what you think in the comments, by the way. What will happen? What do you want to happen? I was talking to Matt Latticier today who got fired from Sky for speaking up on things he thought were important and factual. And I am a fan of free speech and I want to defend your right and my right to speak freely. Now I think we should be accountable to speaking truth and doing our research, but we should have the ability to share our opinions freely without getting shadowbanned, cancelled, deplatformed, I think it's wrong. And this is one of the reasons I launched my Rob.team platform. My Rob.team platform, it's only the cost of a large coffee to join, um, and it's completely decentralized. Uh, you can say what you want, I can say what I want. No, none of the content is filtered or edited like so much of my content now I'm having to put up on many social channels and YouTube. We can't put everything up. You can't even say COVID. You can't even say the C-word. Without warnings, or even I got a ban on YouTube because my guest said that has been hard for small business. Is that the freaking truth? And yet we got fact-checked by a bot. You get fact-checked and shadowbanned by robots, and that's wrong. And that's one of the reasons among many that I launched Rob.team. So if you'd like unfiltered, unedited, uncancellable, honest content on starting a business scaling a business, getting better financial education and knowledge, being free and decentralized, um, to create multiple streams of recurring income, build digital assets, then if you just open a page now, do it now, just open a new page and type in rob.team. You just literally type in, don't even need www. Just write rob.rob.team. T-E-A-M. You can join there for a cost of a large coffee. You can cancel anytime. Um, to be honest, um, even with the thousands of members I've got, it doesn't pay for the full platform, so it's virtually free. It's just a sort of an accountability, um, small amount of money. I launched the 9-module, 10-hour How to Invest series, the 21 Ways to Monetize Social Media. We've got all the banned and canceled content from David Icke and What We Can't Park from Matt LaTissier and all these people speaking truth And it's— we're losing the ability to speak truth and speak openly and freely in our opinion. And, you know, really the fight against this is decentralization, and Rob.team is a fully decentralized platform. Um, I will never edit myself, I will never edit you. Obviously we don't have abuse on, on the channel. Um, but if you want to start a business and scale a business, if you want to create freedom— financial freedom comes first, by the way— You want to learn how to build assets and invest and protect your money from the soaring cost of living crisis and inflation and quantitative easing and the massive increase in taxation and government intervention, then the best way to learn that is joining rob.team. R-O-B.T-E-A-M. It's easy to join, you can cancel any time. We are in disruptive, divisive times. I'm really hoping that Elon Musk isn't going to pull out of Twitter. He's certainly threatening to. Um, he believes it's because Twitter aren't being transparent about the 5% of spam fake accounts. My guess is it's way more. I mean, apparently on Instagram it can be a third or more of the accounts are fake. I don't know what the numbers are, but I think it's way more than 5%. So they just need to tell the freaking truth and get the deal done. That's my view. Let me know what you think. And remember, if you want to look after yourself financially, be in full control and take full responsibility I believe you should join Rob.team. It's the cost of a large coffee. You can cancel anytime per month. I mean, you can get all the content going back 3 years on building a personal brand, monetizing your information, creating online assets, digital assets that are quicker, easier, and cheaper, building income streams that are more passive and recurring and residual, and building them up, and the best business models for quicker residual income. It's all in Rob.team. Team. I'll see you in there. Just open a new page, type in rob.team, go there now. And then once you've done that, please hit the share button. Let me know your thoughts. Is the Twitter deal dead? I think it's vital for freedom of speech that the Twitter deal does not die and it happens. And whatever I can do, Elon, if you need a tenner, Elon, if you need a reference, I'm here. Because I think mainstream media and social media And the mainstream narrative and rhetoric and this cancel culture, um, it must be disrupted. It must. And surely the best way to start that is Twitter being private, Twitter being open source algorithm transparent. So I really hope it happens. So I'll see you in Rob.team. Just open a new page, type in Rob.team. Let's help you start your business. By the way, if you want to, um, know what your biggest expense is, it's tax. And it's absolutely wrong that the government take your tax at source. You don't get paid your wage, you get paid what's left when the government have taken their money off you at source. The only way to combat this is to start a company. If you own your own company, you pay yourself first and tax last. If you don't own your own company, you pay yourself last and tax first. That's the wrong way around, it shouldn't be like that. So you need to start a company, a side income. And I can help you do that by joining rob.team, and we can find out what's the best business model for you to start quickly and easily. A company doesn't cost a lot to set up, and you can do it in a day. But of course, you need to know what you're going to build as this income stream, because, um, you know, the tax is almost criminal. Inflation is a form of tax, and tax is a form of theft. And I can talk about that freely on rob.team. So I'll see you there. Just open a new page, type in rob. T-E-A-M. I'll see you there. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
