Elon Musk Sells 6.9bn of Tesla Shares š³

In this YouTube commentary, host Rob Moore discusses Elon Musk's recent sale of $6.9 billion worth of Tesla shares, exploring how the large divestiture could affect Teslaās stock price and why Musk claims he needs the cash in case he is forced to complete his pending Twitter acquisition. Moore delves into Muskās demand for proof of the percentage of fake, spam, and bot accounts on Twitter, summarizing various viewer opinions that estimate the bot share anywhere from 5% to 50%. He critiques Twitterās handling of the dueādiligence request, the $1 billion termination penalty, and the broader implications for socialāmedia decentralisation, openāsource algorithms, and free speech. Throughout, Moore invites audience comments, references specific viewers (Cindy, Kramer, Adam, John), and uses the segment to promote his paid membership site rob.team, which offers courses on entrepreneurship, socialāmedia monetisation, and investing. The video blends market analysis, speculation on the Twitter deal, audience engagement, and a sales pitch for his educational platform.

Elon Musk has just sold $6.9 billion US dollars of Tesla shares. I would love your thoughts in the comments, what you think about that, because Elon Musk dumping so many Tesla shares can obviously have a big impact on the Tesla share price. He sold them in stages over the last few days, and on Twitter, the reason he stated for selling the Tesla shares. Maybe you can guess it, let me know that in the comments as well. 3, 2, 1. Is to have the money in case he's forced to push through the Twitter purchase. So I don't know if you've been watching the whole Twitter Elon Musk shit show now, really, but Elon Musk came in, he's gonna be the white knight of social media, buy Twitter, make it an open source algorithm, give Give us our freedom of speech back. Reinstate all the canceled people on Twitter. Get rid of all the fakeā get rid of all the fakes, the bots, the spams, and make social media great again. Make it more decentralized, make it more fair, more free, less controlled, open source, transparent. This was excitement in the market of Elon Musk coming in and buying Twitter. And now it looks like the deal is maybe dead. And now in another turn, it looks maybe like Twitter might be successful in forcing Elon Musk to buy them. Now Elon Musk has just dumped $6.9 billion of Tesla shares, billion dollars worth of Tesla shares. Because he says he needs the money in case he's forced to buy Twitter. So it's been quite, um, divided thoughts on my lives on this in the past. I would love your thoughts. So Cindy has said he obviously knows something big is about to happen. Kramer said, I'll believe it when I see it. I think he must be referring to the purchase of Twitter by Elon Musk. When itā when the news first happened, I personally thought it was overall a good thing because social media needs disruption. We need less cancel culture, less manipulative algorithms. We need more open-source transparency. And I thought Elon Musk stands for that. That's what he's about. So I thought that this would be a great thing for social media in general, all social media. Because the other channels would have to follow suit. However, then he pushed Twitter to prove the number of fake spam and bot accounts, and he got a lot of shit for this. A lot of people basically said it was all just a PR stunt and campaign. He never wanted to buy Twitter, and he's trying to wriggle out of the deal. The thing is, there's a $1 billion release penalty. So if you don't go through with the deal and you're Twitter, you have to pay Elon Musk a billion. If you're Elon Musk, you have to pay Twitter a billion. It's quite a freaking lot of money to not do a deal. But then I thought, wait a minute, let's say, um, I was selling you a social media platform or, or a contact email database, an app with a load of users, and I told you there were 5% spam fake and bot accounts, and you thought they were 20%, you would want to know proof of the 5%. And if I couldn't give you proof, you would drop your price, surely, right? Now, a lot of people say, oh, he's just dropping the price because, you know, the economic climate, he's hard up for money, the value of his net worth has gone down, so he's just looking to reduce the price. But I didn't think that was all entirely fair. After all, if you're told there's 5% fake accounts, let's be honest, right? Do you think there are only 5% fake spam and bot accounts on Twitter? Like, come on, really? Let me know how manyā what percent of fake accounts you think there are on Twitter. But 5%? Nah. So I actually want to stick up for Elon Musk here. Now look, I don't know the inner workings, so I only know what'sā I don't know what's in Elon Musk's head, and I haven't seen the dealings between Twitter and Elon Musk. But do I think there are only 5% spam, fake, and bot accounts? No, I think there's way more. Let me know how many you think there are, by the way. Would I want proof of how many fake, spam, and bot accounts there are on Twitter? Of course I would. Adam is saying that he thinks there's 40% fake, spam, and bot. That's a lot. And I'm buying and making my price offer based on how many legitimate accounts there are, because he wouldn't pay billions for one account, but he might pay 10 times more if there was 3 billion users. You're buying users. John thinks it's nearly 50/50 real and fake accounts. Wow. So I didn't think it was unreasonable for Elon Musk to say, prove the fake spam and bot accounts. And it didn't have to be done publicly, it could have been done behind the scenes. So then therefore I think, you know what, Twitter probably can't prove it. But to then sort of sue Elon Musk for not going through with the deal to me felt a bit like petulant and maybe kind of proof that maybe they can't prove how many fake spam, fake spam and bot accounts they have. So breaking news is that Elon Musk has just sold $6.9 billion of Tesla shares. This is big news because when Elon Musk buys a lot of shares or sells a lot of shares, the markets really go up and down. Um, and you know, there will be laws around this. Theā I know the SEC watch Elon Musk's Twitter account carefully. So he's been selling them over a few days. He says he'll buy them back ifā or some of them back if the deal doesn't go through. And he says he's liquidating $6.3 billion because he needs the money in case he's forced to do the Twitter deal. So I'd love your thoughts. What do you think is really going on? Do you think it's a good thing if Elon Musk buys Twitter? Do you think it's fair and reasonable that he wants to get proof of how many spam, fake, and bot accounts there are? Do you think that Twitter only has 5% fake, spam, and bot accounts? If you think Twitter want to do the deal, which they clearly doā Twitter have spent $33 million in 3 months putting this deal togetherā they obviously want to do the deal. How are they going to get away with not giving the information that Elon Musk wants? It's just basic due diligence. So I'd love your thoughts on all of this because, um, I think this is big news. And I think if Elon Musk doesn't buy Twitter and it goes into a massive legal, um, battleā we've seen enough of them on social media. I really personally would like Elon Musk to buy Twitter because I think social media needs disruption, decentralization. It needs um, transparency. It needs open-source algorithms. It needs more free speech. People can't just get canceled for the sake of it because of agendas. I really believe all of this. Now, some of you are saying he's offloading shitloads of shares because shit is going down. Um, so let me know if there's another reason that you think that Elon Musk is offloading a load of shares.
