Elon Musk Sued for $258bn (no joke) 😯

In a live YouTube stream, the host (Rob) discusses a class‑action lawsuit accusing Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX of operating an illegal racketeering enterprise that inflated Dogecoin’s price, resulting in an alleged $86 B loss for investors and a $258‑$268 B claim. He outlines the broader crypto market crash—Bitcoin down two‑thirds, Ethereum and overall market cap falling from $3 T to under $1 T— and questions whether Musk’s influential tweets constitute market manipulation or should be legally liable. Viewer comments are read, debating personal responsibility versus influencer power. The host then shares his own modest crypto exposure, emphasizes risk diversification, and pivots to promote his financial‑education platform, rob.team, describing its courses, membership cost, and benefits. Repeated calls to action encourage viewers to join the platform as a means to improve financial literacy and avoid the pitfalls illustrated by the Dogecoin loss.

Elon Musk is being sued for $258 billion. At first I thought this must be a joke. Did a bit of research, 97.6% certain that this is true. Now it's for a reported and accused crypto pyramid scheme. So I don't know if you follow Elon Musk on Twitter, but you know, if he's positive or bullish about a stock or a crypto, it can go to the moon. If he's not, it can go through the floor. And so it almost seems like the most powerful, um, driver of a market for a crypto or a stock is Elon Musk's Twitter. And I don't know if you've been watching the news on cryptos, but the markets have been tanking. So Bitcoin is down over two-thirds from its highest peak of, I think, $68,000. $1,000. Ethereum is way down. The entire crypto market capitalization is down from over $3 trillion to under $1 trillion. And yes, it's hot, and yes, I'm sweaty. I'm sure when you mean I look hot, you mean steaming temperature. So, um, a lot of the cryptos are way down. And, um, there's— I don't know if you've ever heard of the Dogecoin. or, um, based on dogs, Dogecoin. Don't they— they say Dogecoin, D-O-G-E-C-O-I-N. So, uh, Dogecoin tanked, literally tanked, from 74 cents to 5 cents, went down $86 billion in its value. Uh, and get this, uh, one, um, Dogecoin investor has done a class action lawsuit. So, you know, got a load of people together and is suing Elon Musk, SpaceX, and Tesla for $268 billion. Now, one of the downsides of being freaking rich and everyone knowing how much money you're worth is ridiculous lawsuits like that. Now look, I'm not saying that Elon Musk is going to win or lose. I'd love your thoughts in the comments. Do you think it's right if someone talks up a crypto or a stock on their social media, um, and then it tanks, or talks it down and then it tanks? Um, do you think it's right that they should be sued and they should be financially responsible for their tweets and how it affects the market? So, um, some people are going to say this is ridiculous, throw it out, this is an American you know, suing culture. But it does raise a question. If you have this power where literally social media posts can boom or bust a crypto or a stock, you know, could you— could that deemed to be manipulation of price? This does raise that question. Um, Natalia said, nah, you take your own risks and do your own diligence. But here's the thing, if someone so powerful really can affect the market You can do your own diligence. Then Elon Musk comes out with a tweet. Now look, on the other side of it, um, you know, the markets have tanked recently. I'm pretty sure that's not because of Elon Musk's recent tweet that he's done. But let me tell you what's actually going on. So there's a class action lawsuit against Elon Musk, Tesla, and SpaceX for $268 billion, which is triple the $86 billion that Dogecoin has dropped, and Elon Musk is accused of this, and I quote, operating an illegal racketeering enterprise to inflate the price of the cryptocurrency. So he's basically being accused of a crypto pyramid scheme where he's operating an illegal racketeering enterprise to inflate— you know what I've just said here, just repeat myself— inflate the price of the cryptocurrency. So, um, Elon Musk, um, he calls it— he's called himself the Dogefather, and he's often referenced the dog-themed cryptocurrency, which is Dogecoin. Uh, and often when he tweets, the, um, cryptocurrency spikes really quickly. So, um, here's another quote from the accusation against Elon Musk: Defendants falsely and deceptively claim that Dogecoin is a legitimate investment when it has no value at all. This, um, Keith Johnson, by the way, is the plaintiff. Since defendant Musk and his corporation SpaceX and Tesla Inc. began purchasing, developing, promoting, supporting, and operating Dogecoin in 2019, plaintiff and the class have lost approximately $80 billion in this crypto pyramid scheme. Someone has said illiberals are coming for Elon. What do you think about that? I'm, I'm personally more on the side of, come on, you took your own investments. You made your own risks and diligence. You probably weren't going to give him a share of the billions in profits when it went to the moon, were you, class action lawsuit gang? Oh, but now it's tanked, you want not just your money back but 3 times the loss of the entire, um, market cap of Dogecoin. Well, nearly all of it. Come on. But then, on the other hand, if you're in an investment and one person has that amazing power to boom it or bust it. I wonder if some new laws need to come in. You know, the SEC are always watching Elon Musk. Um, John has said here people are just jealous of Elon Musk. Um, Alice said, how about you, Rob? Are you keeping any crypto coins? Yes, I've got a few altcoins. Some of them have turned into shitcoins, and I didn't put much money, and not even 1% of my net worth in there. I've got some Ethereum, a little bit more, and I've got some Bitcoin, a little bit more. I'm no more than 5% of my net worth at any one time in Bitcoin or crypto, but I am in. I'm no expert, you know, I've got a basic understanding. I spread my risk in my investments. I only invest in cryptos and Bitcoin and other things, money that I can afford to lose. I did launch my own NFT series, so I'd see myself as an amateur investor in the crypto space. This is— this, um, live isn't really about crypto, but as you asked, so let me do a quick recap and let me know what you think in the comments. Elon Musk has been sued, $258 billion, for a crypto pyramid scheme according to a class action lawsuit against him. Um, now look, the markets have tanked. Bitcoin is down over two-thirds. The market cap of cryptos is down from $3 trillion to under $1 trillion. Um, and Dogecoin has tanked from a high of $0.74 to now $0.05. And all of a sudden Yes, I'm sweating. It's not because I had a billion in Dogecoin, otherwise I would be. Um, obviously now the market's tanked, um, you know, people are upset, and, um, a, a class action lawsuit has got together and accused Elon Musk of, and I quote, operating an illegal racketeering enterprise to inflate the price of the cryptocurrency. Elon Musk's tweeted a lot about Dogecoin, it sent the price to the moon. I wonder if they were offering him a share in the profits then. I'm not sure. Let me know what you think, by the way. Because this— the world is changing. And you know, if you could influence the stock market and the crypto market before, you know, the regulators would be all over you. And, and now with social media, the world is changing, and people could potentially manipulate the price of, of stocks and markets through media and social media. Okay, a couple more quotes, um, a little share. So defendants falsely and deceptively claim that Dogecoin is a legitimate investment when it has no value at all. Since defendant Musk and his corporations, Inc., began purchasing, developing, promoting, supporting, and operating in Dogecoin, the class has lost approximately $86 billion in this crypto pyramid scheme, and they're seeking 3 times their loss of $258 or $68. Um, I've got— I think I put $258 in the Um, title, let's have a look. It's up there or thereabouts, $258 to $268 billion. So let me know what you think. Do you think it's fair because, um, he pumped the price up? Do you think that's kind of what Elon Musk is up to? Do you think it's just a cancel suing crazy culture in America? Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Now look, it does raise some good moral questions about investments. So my question to you is, Do you do your diligence when you invest? Do you know what to invest in and how to invest? You know, are you spreading your risk? I guess some of these guys have lost a hell of a lot of money and probably overexposed themselves. And you know, are you getting savvy and teaching yourself better financial education and knowledge? Because if you'd like to do all of that, I really recommend that you join Rob.team, my financial education platform. So just go and open a page, type in rob.team. Now I think a couple of the reasons why maybe this lawsuit has happened with Elon Musk is because, um, Carla said here Elon Musk is on Doge's board. Um, and that Elon is developing Doge because he wants it to be a currency. So, you know, I guess where that's where they think there's the, um, insider element, claiming it's a legitimate investment when it's a crypto pyramid scheme. So there you go. Um, now on the note of Rob.team, I've just launched in the last 2 weeks a 9-module, 10-hour How to Invest series. Don't be like these Dogecoin guys who've lost billions. $86 billion gone. 74 cents down to 5 cents, wiped out. Don't be like these, you know, people who blindly throw into risky investments. You know, know the difference between investment, speculation, and gambling. And sometimes you do speculate, and you know, very occasionally with a tiny amount of money you gamble, but mostly you want to invest. And this 9-module, 10-hour How to Invest series teaches you how to invest in cryptos, property, stocks, ISAs, gold, precious metal, art, classic cars, watches, you name it. Um, someone has asked me, you always have stripes on your shirts. And these are Alexander McQueen, and this— they have this unique design called a harness. It's not a back brace, it's not a backpack, it's not a gun holster. Uh, it is just their design. I should just let everyone troll me and take the piss. Thank you for the stars, by the way. Thank you for the kind comments. Now, on rob.team, every 7 to 10 days I've got new masterclasses going live. So I've got the How to Hack Viral Growth masterclass coming up in about 3 or 4 weeks. I've got the How to Automate Your Sales and Marketing masterclass in 10 days. This These are all live, by the way, and then they're recorded afterwards. And I've been doing live or recorded masterclasses for going back 3 years. Um, yeah, you can join from any country in the world— Africa, wherever you are. Um, just been asked, can you join in Africa? Um, yes, you can join from any country in the world. It's completely online. We do do sometimes some live events, but they're, they're recorded, or, um, there's online courses, what, every 7 to 10 days. Are there resources to create streams of income? Absolutely, Andre. So, um, there's various talks and masterclasses on starting a business, on scaling a business, on creating digital assets, on turning content and information into income in membership sites and books and online courses and masterminds, uh, and, you know, turning what you already know into cash flow. So yeah, in fact, um, on Andre, I'd say that's mostly, um, what the content is about— digital assets. It's not really about old-school physical assets. It's not definitely not about, you know, having another job. It's about setting up a second income, a third income, a side hustle, starting your own business, being an entrepreneur, getting your tax bill down. Someone there has said tax is theft, and I am inclined to, to a certain degree, agree. So, you know, I mean, I interviewed my accountant who saved me millions of pounds and he teaches you, you know, various ways to offset taxes and get your tax bill down. It's all in rob.team. I could see a lot of you asking, so just open a new page, type in rob.team, and it's all in there. You just quickly register, join, cost you a large coffee to join. You can cancel anytime. You can go back and get 3-odd years' worth of courses and masterclasses on monetising social media, starting your second business, starting your online business, starting your side hustle, um, and building your business and building sales and generating leads, uh, like for example the How to Automate Your Sales and Marketing Masterclass that's coming up soon. You can watch my videos day after day, but to know and not to do is not to know. You actually have to implement and do. And the problem with free advice is it's worth every penny, but when you pay, you pay attention. So it's just like I suppose having a gym membership, except do you know what? Rob.team is one-third of the cost of Netflix. People watch shit on Netflix and just mush their brain into nothingness, turn themselves into a cabbage paying £15 a month. You can pay a third of that and turn yourself into a financial educated— I was going to say genius, but I'm not going to go that far. But you know, learn, earn, invest. So look, I've said my bit. I can see people are saying that I'm in and that they've joined. Go do it, because if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. And quick summary: Elon Musk has been sued for 258, 268-ish $1.2 billion, um, by a class action lawsuit, um, of Dogecoin investors. Um, Dogecoin's tanked from 74 cents to 5 cents, and Elon Musk is being sued— Elon Musk and Tesla and SpaceX— for apparently, and I quote, operating an illegal racketeering enterprise to inflate the price of the cryptocurrency. Elon Musk talked a lot about, um, Dogecoin, which has pumped the price up, whether he meant to or not. Apparently he's on the board, apparently he's developing it. So is there a conflict of interest there? Who knows? Let me know what you think in the comments. And a quote on this lawsuit against him: Defendants falsely and deceptively claim that Dogecoin is a legitimate investment when it has no value at all. Since Musk and his corporations began purchasing, developing, promoting, supporting, and operating Dogecoin Plaintiff and the class have lost approximately $86 billion in this crypto pyramid scheme. So some of you are saying your Netflix is Rob.team. Many of you, I can see in the comments, have said you've joined Rob.team. Welcome aboard. Go and consume a load of the content.
