Everyone’s Leaving the U.K 😮

In this monologue, Rob Moore argues that a growing wave of entrepreneurs and high‑net‑worth individuals are leaving the United Kingdom because of high taxes and aggressive HMRC investigations. He cites a self‑conducted X poll in which 76 % of respondents said they would leave if they could, and shares two anecdotal stories about billionaire friends who relocated to Monaco after facing multiple tax inquiries and a proposed £50 million re‑entry tax. Moore frames the situation as a crisis for the UK economy, warning that the exodus of the top earners could erode tax revenue and investment. He then outlines three possible responses for viewers: (1) relocate to low‑tax jurisdictions such as Dubai or Monaco, (2) accept the situation, or (3) stay and fight by dramatically reducing one’s tax bill through legal strategies. He promotes the “Moneymaker Summit” – a three‑day event in London and Peterborough that teaches business building, wealth protection, investment, and a deep‑dive into twelve tax‑reduction tactics, including the core principle of “pay yourself first, tax later.” The video ends with a call‑to‑action to join the summit and a reminder that avoiding risk means risking everything.

Everyone's leaving the UK. Many people I know, many entrepreneurs, and it's really sad. And I've got two stories to tell you about this, and one involves two billionaires. Now, the hate for billionaires, I believe, is more propaganda than reality, because whilst they do avoid some tax, they pay tens, if not hundreds of millions of taxes that most people don't see. And I'm on a mission to help educate people on the reality because all the jobs we lose, you know, all the investment into the country we lose, all the tax revenue we lose because there's so many different types of tax. Just because a billionaire might manage to avoid certain taxes, they still can't avoid them all. And they create so much economy that we're losing. Anyway, the two stories I've got to tell you about this. The first one is I did a poll on X and said, um, if, if you were able, would you leave the UK? 1,500-ish votes, and I think 76% said, yeah, I'll leave the UK. 76% of people, you know, could they click their fingers, would leave the UK. I mean, that is That is the worst poll of all, but it's a hardcore reality. And you know what? I see very famous people posting who are British and they travel, and when they travel across the world, people keep saying to them, what's happening in the UK? What is going on? Okay, the second story is a friend of mine who's a billionaire. He recently left the UK for Monaco. So I imagine he was paying tens of millions plus, high tens of millions in tax, because remember there's VAT, corp tax, income tax, National Insurance, business rates. There's so many different taxes, um, and that money's now all gone. And he said, um, because he was in the, I think, the top 500 richest people in the UK, um, there's, there's basically simultaneously, um, dozens of investigations and inquiries from HMRC open on it, HMRC open on him. So apparently when you get into a and leave of money. They're just coming after you all the time for money, all the time for money, all the time for money. This is what, what he said to me. And, you know, he obviously believes that, um, all these cases open against him aren't valid. Anyway, so he's gone now, like 10,000, 20,000 millionaires since lockdown. And then he was having a chat in Monaco with, uh, someone he knows who's also a billionaire. Now I can't mention this person's name for, um, you know, for trust, but this person, uh, pretty much one of the richest people in the UK. You'd know the person by name, and they left a long time ago and they wanted to come back. And it was all getting sorted out for this billionaire to come back to the UK, and then the UK government said, we want £50 million re-entrance tax. So instead of letting the billionaire come back, probably bring his billions in tax revenue, they got greedy and they wanted a £50 million re-entrance tax. So he said, no, stick it, and he's staying in Monaco. And that is the state of the UK right now. Now, many of you thank me for speaking out, and I thank you for following my work. Some people do say, oh, I'm just being so negative and I'm moaning. I'm not. I'm talking about the reality of what's really going on. And we can't just positive thinking affirmation this away. This is a reality. And so you've got some choices. And I do end all of my videos with solutions and actions because I think that's really important. Okay, so option number 1 is you leave. And you know, some people have said to me, well, why don't you just leave, Rob? Well, I'm going to tell you in a minute. Because, you know, Dubai, there's 5% VAT, 9% corp, therefore no income tax, no business rates, and all these other taxes. So a lot of people are leaving for Dubai and Monaco. They're leaving in their droves, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of them. UBS predicts that half a million millionaires will be gone by 2028. I mean, I labor not watching what's going on here. And all this propaganda vilifying millionaires and billionaires. Well, do you know what? Of the 3 million millionaires, most of them drive a Toyota or a Honda or a Ford. And you know, their house has gone up over time, and most of their net worth is stuck in, you know, a house or a bit of a pension. You know, they're working-class millionaires, not jet-flying, supercar-driving millionaires. So option number 1, you leave, you make the plan, that's up to you. I'm not doing that. I'm sticking it out for the fight. Um, you know, my— all my family is here, all my businesses are here, all my properties are here, my kids are at private school here. I don't think this place is booked, as they say, just yet, or done just yet. It's getting worse and worse and worse, but I'm still gonna stay here, speak up, stand up, fight it. And but in order to do that, your option is you need to work your tax bill down. Because what's the point in earning more money and trying to make a living and giving more than two-thirds of it away in what you earn and what you spend in tax? Now, we'd all pay a fair rate if our services were good— hospitals, education, roads, etc.— but we all know they're all broken. So you either leave or you work a strategy to get your tax bill down. Now, there's only one way to get your tax bill down. Well, there's actually 12 ways to get your tax bill down, but there's one main way, and that is you need to pay yourself first and pay tax later, whereas when you're employed, you pay tax first and you get what's left. Have you ever seen your payslip? Here's what you could have won. Oh, HMRC have got most of it. So if you'd like to figure out the one main way and then the 12 subdivided ways to get your tax bill down, I recommend you come and join me at the Moneymaker Summit. So the Moneymaker Summit used to be just about starting a business, making, managing, and multiplying money, being, building multiple streams of income, you know, getting your earning power up, getting your money up. But what's the point of doing that if you're giving two-thirds away? So now I've added sections on protecting your money, on diversifying your money, on investing in the right assets that you know, keep your money going and growing, and a deep dive session on getting your tax bill down legally, legitimately, from things you can actually find, you know, with a good bit of research, um, in public domain. But most people don't know it, or they're scared of it. And I've saved tens of millions in tax. I've also— I also paid tens of millions in tax, um, and I'm going to reveal all of this to you. So if you would like to join me at the Moneymaker Summit then the link is robmoore.live. Rob Moore dot live forward slash money. That's robmoore.live forward slash money. Um, I also want a chance to meet you personally face to face. Um, if you're zoomed out and you want to actually do business in a room, this is the place to be. Um, and this— I've updated this event because it used to be, like I said, about starting a business and making money, but now there's lots of things in the way of that. You need— so we've got investing in gold and silver, We've got leveraging AI so you don't pay all the taxes on all the, the staff. Um, and we've got this additional deep dive masterclass on saving your tax and, you know, getting that your biggest overhead down. And it's all at robmoore.live/money. I'd probably recommend you bump and do the upgraded tickets 'cause you've got dinner with the entrepreneurs, including myself. Um, and then there's the panel sessions, the how to raise money 15-hour online course. These are all bonuses for the upgraded tickets. It's all at robmoore.life/money. So I did a poll on X, and shockingly, 76% of people said they'd leave the UK. What would you do? Um, if, if you could just move, would you? Because 76%, one, you know, 3 in 4, that's a shocking statistic. And it proves where we're at in the UK. And you've got choices. One, get your head down and just accept it. Two, leave and go to somewhere like Dubai. Three, don't accept it, stay here, fight, get your income up, get your tax bill down, and make it work. And if you're the latter, if you're— you want to make it work but you, you know, you want to keep some of your money, I recommend you come to the Moneymaker Summit. Don't be like my billionaire friend who left if you can help it. Don't be— I mean, my billionaire friend left because there were just hundreds of tax investigations on him just because he was rich, according to him. And then when he went to Monaco, his friend, who, one of the richest men in the country, the country's ever produced, was going to come back. And then he was told, oh, 50 million re-entrance tax. So he told him to bugger off and he stayed in Dubai. And that— this— all of this stuff's really sad. Um, we need entrepreneurs, we need business owners, we need people who can help grow the economy. Do you know that the top 1% earners pay 40% of the tax? I think it's the top 10% pay 70% of the tax, and we're exiling them all. It's ridiculous. Anyway, let me know what you think. Um, really appreciate you. Hope to see you at the Moneymaker Summit. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
