In this YouTube commentary, the host reads aloud a handwritten letter from Isabel, a sevenâyearâold girl from Sheffield, addressed to Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Isabel asks the Prime Minister to apologise for holding parties at Number 10 during COVIDâ19 lockdowns, which prevented her from celebrating her 6th and 7th birthdays, while officials appeared to ignore the rules. The speaker frames the letter as a heartfelt, yet pointed, moral appeal that highlights the broader issue of government officials breaking lockdown rules. He references the ongoing public scrutiny, the Gray Report and the inquest into the Downing Street gatherings, and notes how many families suffered missed birthdays, loss of loved ones, and restricted hospital access during the pandemic. The video calls for accountability, encourages viewers to share the story, and hopes for a response from the Prime Minister, using a mix of empathy for the child, criticism of the government, and a reminder that ignoring small voices can erode public trust.

So a girl aged 7 has handwritten a letter to the Prime Minister Boris demanding an apology. And look, my feed and the last week, even the last 2 years on the internet, really, it's been pretty painful. And there's a lotâ been a lot of serious issues we've had to address about freedom of speech and lockdowns and all this. But this is the best thing I've seen on the internet for 2 years. I think it will warm and tickle you, and I think it's worth a cheeky little share. So, girl who followed party rules asks Boris Johnson for an apology. So, a girl who missed two birthday parties due to COVID, um, has written to Boris Johnson to ask for an apology over events held at Number 10 um, through lockdown. Now I'm going to read you word for word what she wrote. This is a nice quick message and it just warmed me, and I wanted to show you that, hey look, we could still have some fun, and you know, the internet isn't full of really hard pressure issues. So Isabel, 7 years old, from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, handwrote to the Prime Minister saying that he needed to set a good example for following the rules. Quote, why on my 6th and 7th birthday I couldn't have a party and you were. Exactly, Isabelle. You write to her and you tell her, and hopefully you get a response. In fact, hopefully the nation gets a response. If Boris writes to you, she's written to Boris Jon-Con, Jon-Thon, Jon-Con, 'If Boris writes to you, I hope he also writes to us, because why on my 41st and 42nd birthday could I not have a party when you were?' I want to know the same thing. 'Even the Queen had to follow the rules,' she told the Prime Minister. So she's put to Boris Johnson, why on my 6th and 7th birthday I couldn't have a party and you were? Next time follow the rules. And I know that you were made them, but that is not an excuse. Even the Queen had to follow them. Unhappy face from Isabel. I reckon you should share this. Isabel's family said they were very proud of their daughter for taking upon herself to write to the Prime Minister after hearing the topic being discussed on the radio. Apparently, Isabel was quite cross and had questioned why the people who make the rules break the rules. Yes, why do people who make the rules break the rules? I'd love to know that. Um, yeah, and, and she is in a family of 5. Who, you know, many people missed birthdays, they lostâ let's be serious about this nowâ many people lost loved ones or couldn't go to hospital through the lockdown while there were parties regularly. So yes, I just thought I'd share that with you, just something a bit fun but a proper strong message. Good on Isabel, age 7. To Boris Johnson, 10 Downing Street, London. She hasn't put the postcode in, but I think that'll get there. Um, and she's asked Boris why he didn't follow the rules when she missed two birthdays, and even the Queen had to follow the rules and he didn't follow the rules. I hope she gets a reply. I'd love to read the reply. I wonder if BBC News will read, uh, publish the reply, and I wonder if we'll all get a reply. Um, what happened to the Gray Report? Wasn't there a full-on inquest? Into these parties. There seemed to be news about it every day while the inquest was starting and going on, and now it's all gone silent. Hmm, something to ponder. Anyway, quick one. Have an awesome day. Love you all. Remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. And give this a cheeky share, it's fun. Yes, my 7-year-old daughter, she tells me off a lot, and we all need to be told off every now and again, Boris. We all need to be told off. We all need to be held accountable. We all need to be put into line. Sometimes we need a little letter, a handwritten letter, little smack on the bottom.
