Government Increase Taxes AGAIN 🤮

In this solo video, the presenter denounces the UK government's Autumn Statement, arguing that the promised "big tax cuts" are a sham and that most of the announced measures actually increase the tax burden. He outlines the only nominal relief – a 2% cut to employee National Insurance – and highlights the absence of any corporation tax reduction. He then details the hidden cost increases: a 9.8% rise in the National Living Wage, a 6.7% increase in Universal Credit, and an 8.5% rise in the State Pension, all of which he frames as additional taxes on workers and taxpayers. The speaker also criticises the government's selective business‑rate relief for retail, hospitality and leisure, calling it unfair to other small businesses. He laments the country's 70‑year‑high tax burden, low buying power, massive public debt, and perceived lack of accountability among politicians. After summarising these points, he pivots to a personal call‑to‑action, urging viewers to build independent wealth, reduce their tax bills, and create multiple income streams. He promotes his paid membership platform, Rob.team, offering a 10‑module Money Mastermind University as a free bonus for immediate sign‑ups, and repeatedly encourages viewers to join via the URL.

The government increased taxes again. We were led to believe there were some big exciting tax cuts coming. Even my business partner got excited, and he's not very easy to excite. He thought that big corporation tax cuts were coming, and there was an amazing marketing campaign done by the government that we were going to get these big tax cuts. And honestly, I believe the results are a complete joke. In fact, I wouldn't even say your taxes have been cut. I would say your taxes have in fact gone up. Couple of shockers I've got at the end here. I've got a list of them, a main summary of what happened in the government's Autumn Statement, the big marketing campaign for big tax cuts. Everyone was going to be a winner. This was going to be amazing. So the first thing, the big tax cut, was that employees are now going to get 2% cut on National Insurance. Wow! So if you are employed, you might save £450 on your National Insurance a year. Woo! Oh, there's no employers' cut. Cut in National Insurance, just employees down 2%. Well, at least they've acknowledged that National Insurance is a tax, because I don't know what they're calling it, National Insurance, but it's a tax. So at least they've acknowledged that. Okay, then they said there was going to be a big saving on corporation tax. Well, in fact, there's no saving at all. There is no reduction in tax. Um, in fact, there's a capital allowance offset investing scheme which you can already do, which they've just— well, I don't even know what they've done, but they haven't even changed it, they haven't updated it. You can just still do it, whatever it is. Clear as mud. Okay, now the next thing, here's where some of the costs come in, the hidden costs. So National Living Wage, minimum wage, let's call it, And that's going up by 9.8% a year. So that's going up nearly 10% a year. So that's going to increase your tax burden, bearing in mind you're going to be paying for the lower-level workforce by an extra 10% a year. Because remember, the government don't generate any revenue. They don't have any income streams except you. You, the taxpayer. Alright, they can print money. And they can create imaginary debt, but their only source of revenue is you, the taxpayer. So National Living Wage, or rather what should we call it, minimum wage, is going up 10% nearly. Okay, apparently there's a 75% discount on business rates for retail, hospitality, and leisure. Well, what about the plethora of other businesses out there have had it really hard since the lockdown? The butchers, the bakers, the candlestick makers. That seems very specific and very niche and very unfair for many other legitimate small businesses that have suffered through lockdown. Okay, here's a couple of shockers for me. Um, Universal Credit and other benefits to go up 6.7%. So essentially you're paying 6.7% more to fund people on benefits. How's that a tax cut? Enlighten me in the comments. Let me know what I'm missing in the comments. Where the fuck is the tax cut in that? Because that just to me sounds like a bigger tax burden. Next one: state pension to raise by 8.5%. Oh, okay, so where's the tax cut in that? Where's your income tax going down, your capital gains tax going down, your inheritance tax going down? Or is that just another big expense for the taxpayer? 8.5%. Now, in light of all of this, an economics expert has said despite these tax cuts, of which I can see hardly any, um, the tax burden is still at a 70-year high. We are at the lowest relative buying power since the Second World War. Your money goes not as far since the last 100 years. Your cost of living and your quality of life is at its worst for nearly 100 years. Meanwhile, all the politicians and ex-politicians are raking it in on I'm a Celebrity and doing all these reality TV shows and getting paid their millions. And all the people who were in government running the country while we're in lockdown, they were having parties. Their WhatsApp messages were ridiculous. They were a complete joke. And nothing has happened. No consequences. No accountability. And now who's actually running the country? Like, what is the plan for the country? Tell me, enlighten me in the comments. What is the plan for this country? How are we going to get out of the 3-odd trillion in debt that we are? How are we going to turn the country around? How are we going to make it a force of nature? How are we going to help all these small businesses, all these people struggling to make a living? How are we going to get all these people off the streets? Stop paying billions in benefits. Get people back to work. Reward them and incentivize them for innovation, creation, for learning a skill. What skills do we need? And then give them some subsidies and support. Honestly, this country is an absolute mess and joke. Anyway, I'd love your thoughts in the comments. I'm going to do a quick summary. We were promised great big tax cuts. In fact, we got nothing. In fact, I think we got tax increases. Um, the tax cut that— well, the first one was 2% cut in National Insurance. Wow, £450 a year. Nothing for employees though, just nothing for employers, just employees. There's no save on corp tax. Um, yet, um, minimum wage has gone up 9.8%, Universal Credit has gone up 6.7%, and State Pension has gone up 8.5%. Unpick that if you can. Da Vinci. Crack that Da Vinci Code. Anyway, look, this pisses me off, but you always have to turn it into a positive. You have to look how you can turn this into your advantage. How can you build personal independent wealth? How can you not just survive but thrive despite the system? How can you make, manage, and multiply money? Create multiple streams of recurring income.
