Govt. debt Highest on Record ⛔️

In this monologue, Rob Moore warns that the UK government has reached a historic level of debt—£2.3 trillion with £7.3 billion in monthly interest—and that November’s borrowing of £22 billion set a new record. He links the fiscal imbalance to rising taxes, soaring inflation, and imminent interest‑rate hikes, predicting a deepening depression, falling asset prices, and a cost‑of‑living crisis. Moore criticises the political leadership (Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss) and media censorship, urging listeners to protest, contact MPs, and demand change. He then shifts to personal survival strategies: decentralising finances, diversifying income streams, owning income‑producing assets, and preparing for off‑grid living. Moore frames the downturn as an opportunity for entrepreneurship, highlighting shifts toward digital content creation and side‑hustles. He promotes his own platform, rob.team, describing its low‑cost membership, masterclasses, live events, and resources designed to help people build multiple streams of income and protect themselves from the economic collapse. The overall message is that the fiscal crisis is real and severe, but proactive financial independence and entrepreneurship can mitigate its impact.

Government debt is now highest on record. So I've been off ill and I've come back to what seems like an even worse UK, like ambulance strikes, nursing strikes and fiascos, the Harry and Meghan debacle distracting everybody because it means nothing. But the government are just letting this country go to ruin, absolute ruin. And I said this at the start of the lockdown, that this would be the start of a depression that could last 10 years or more. I kept going on about it and people were calling me a doom monger. And now a few days off ill and I see that the government have now— they've had their highest debt month on record since records began. So the government borrowing each month is essentially the difference between their spending and their income. They only have one way to produce income and that's taxation. And in the month of November They, um, borrowed £22 billion more. Do you know the government debt in the UK is now £2.3 trillion? Do you know the interest payments on their debt is now £7.3 billion? And the taxes are going up. Like, if you think your taxes are less than 65% in what you earn and what you spend, you need to wake up and work out what taxes you're really paying, because you are paying two-thirds of what you earn and what you spend in tax. You are working two-thirds of your life for the government. This is completely outrageous. And, um, November last year, the the government borrowing figure was, ooh, about £8 billion. I.e., they borrowed £8 billion more than they drew in in tax revenue. And this November, when we're supposed to be out of the lockdown, it is now £22 billion. So I hate to say this, but I think the UK is officially fucked. It's going to get worse and worse and worse before it gets better. So we've got the major energy crisis that needs to be funded, we've got the food crisis that needs to be funded, we've got a long hard winter coming, we've got the taxes that have to go on the rise. How else is the £2.3 trillion in debt going to be paid back? £7.3 billion just in interest, and that's a pretty competitive interest rate. What happens when interest rates go up? Oh, wait a minute, then we've got interest rates to go. Up, which means that people's affordability is going to go down and their mortgage payments are going to go up and repossessions are going to go up. Then you got really high inflation, like double-digit inflation. And I just need to be real and tell you, this is going to be— it's going to get much worse before it gets better. I believe we're coming into a depression. We're already seeing a lot of asset prices correct quite quickly. Um, local property prices here have dropped 15% in 60 days, and you need to get ready. You need to be prepared because this month, officially, the government borrowed more money in a month than they've ever borrowed since records began, and we are no way out of this. And why is it that they can just get away with it? Why is it that the people who put us in lockdown not once, not twice, but pretty much 3 times Why is it that they got rewarded with being made the Prime Minister? Like, Rishi was pretty much the main guy that enforced the lockdowns and managed or mismanaged our economy through this, and his reward, his punishment, is to be given the prime ministerial duties. I mean, to me, it's an absolute scandal. It's a freaking scandal. Now, a lot of you are saying in here, planned agenda, the grand rising, the Great Reset. The New World Order. Look, each time these things happen, I get more and more skeptical about who really rules and runs the world and what's really going on. Um, but look, you need to prepare yourself for the following. One, interest rates are going to go way up before they stabilize. Two, um, inflation is going to go up before it stabilizes. And Gregory has said don't blow a blood vessel. I'm fucking angry about this, Gregory, and you should be angry about this. You should all be very freaking angry about this. If you're not going live on social media and talking about it, if you're not posting on LinkedIn talking about it, if you're not writing to your MP, if you're not standing on your soapbox and jumping up and down about this, then nothing's going to fucking change. Because we didn't get to vote, um, Liz Truss in. We didn't get to vote Liz Truss out. We didn't get to vote Rishi Sunak in. We didn't have any choice. We don't have a democracy. We don't have any choice. Oh, okay, well, we'll pay three-quarters of our money in tax. Yeah, we'll do that. And yeah, just put interest rates up as high as you want, and we'll just sit in one house in the living room. We'll heat the living room but not any of the other rooms because we can't afford it. And we'll just, we'll just do what we're told. And if you want to lock us down another 15 times, we will comply because we're not independent. This is a joke. And then you've got social media channels which are censoring you, deplatforming you, and canceling you left, right, and center. News just came out in the last couple of days from Elon Musk that Twitter's basically got paid millions by the government to censor data. Data's being censored, manipulated, and controlled. Money is being manipulated and controlled by the central banks. The world is being manipulated and controlled by our governments and politicians and whoever's pulling the puppet strings. I have not seen anything anywhere near as bad as this in my whole life. If you have, show me a time. So some people are like, 'Oh, Rob, don't worry, it won't be that bad. The recession won't be as bad as 2008.' Well, in 2008 we had the banks basically toxically repurposing Bad debt. That was the issue in 2008. Money. This time it's not just money, it's cost of living, it's energy, it's food, it's fuel. There's so many other things. It's health, it's the fucked NHS. Oh, that's another thing. Last month they increased tax revenue by tens of billions and decreased spending on our services by tens of billions. They're just going to have to keep doing that each month. Here's the irony: last month they increased their tax revenue and decreased their spending, yet this month they've borrowed the record amount of money— $22 billion. $22 billion a month is $250 billion. It's a quarter of a trillion a year. A quarter of a trillion a year. Yeah, so Some people mistakenly think I'm a doom monger. I'm not. I'm a reality monger. If you can give me any positive information or any counterproof, please do. I'm up for it. But I can't see the wood for the trees, and I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel unless— and mark my words on these and write these down— number one, you need to be as decentralized as possible. Now, by the way, I'm not just talking about digging a basement and stocking up on condensed milk and being off-grid. You know, that's a bit extreme. You might want to build up towards that in the next 10 years. You might want to get a home somewhere out of range somewhere and be off-grid. Stranger things have had to happen. But for now, what you can do is make sure not all your money is in one bank. Make sure that all your income streams don't come from one source. And make sure that you control your own employment and you're not— your employment isn't controlled by others. Make sure you pay yourself first and you pay tax last. If you're employed, then you pay tax first and you get what's left. Make sure you've got assets that produce recurring income. If there's a lockdown, the assets still produce income. If there's a crash, the assets still produce income. And these are things that you can do. Learn how the monetary system really works and learn how to play the money system at its own game. Now, some upsides of all this depression that's coming out. Look, We're already 15% down in 60 days in the lower-end real estate market in my local city. The economy is pretty much in a recession, and I think it's just starting. We've got the winter to come, which is going to be very difficult for people. But, um, this is going to give you a spin-off upside opportunity— in fact, multiple upside opportunities. So let me ask you to ask yourself this. Number 1, um, where's the new opportunity? Like, where can you help others who are struggling? What's the new business model that's evolved? Where are you seeing people make money, and where did they used to make money? And what's dying out and what's growing? You know, people are making loads of money on YouTube and TikTok and social media and podcasting. There's creators, there's, um, short-form video editors, there's all these people making really good money now. But retailers and manufacturers These guys are struggling. The government is now £2.3 trillion in debt with £7.3 billion in interest payments. The government is absolutely fucking ruined. The debt is so deep, how is it ever going to get it paid back? It couldn't charge us— it couldn't pay all the debt back with 100% taxes.
