In this impassioned YouTube monologue, the speaker highlights recent CDC data showing that firearm-related injuries became the leading cause of death for U.S. children and teenagers in 2020, surpassing motor vehicle accidents. The video cites 4,300 youth deaths that year, breaking down the toll into homicides (up 33.4%), suicides, and accidental shootings. The speaker connects the rise to the massive civilian gun stockpileâestimated at 390 million firearmsâand speculates that COVIDâ19 lockdowns may have amplified the trend. Additional statistics are presented, such as a 29.5% overall increase in youth gun deaths and a 39% rise in firearm deaths among those aged 1â19. The creator laments that the videoâs reach appears to be shadowâbanned on social platforms, urging viewers to share the content, discuss possible solutions, and challenge the permissive gunâownership culture in America. The tone is urgent, alarmed, and critical, ending with a call to action for public engagement and policy change.

So gun deaths are now the leading killer of children. This is horrific. Gun deaths have just overtaken car accidents in the US as the leading killer of children. Uh, uh, data from the CDC shows that 4,300 4,300 Americans died of firearm-related injuries in 2020. Now, this might be one of the most important videos I've ever done because it absolutely shocks me that the leading killer of children, of innocent children in the US, is guns. By the way, that's not always homicide. That's also suicide and accidental deaths. This happens way more than it should. So I think it's vital that we discuss what can be done about this. Maybe you can share this video. Maybe you can come up with some suggestions on what can be done. But how can it be that a man-made weapon is the leading killer of children. This simply cannot be. So let me just tell you that the latest dataâ so guns have overtaken car crashes to become the leading cause of death of children in the USA, children and teenagers. 4,300 young Americans died of firearm-related injuries in 2020. Suicides contributed to this toll, but also homicides and accidental deaths. More than 390 million guns are owned by U.S. citizens. If that number was halved, then maybe the number of deaths would be halved. But 4,300 deaths, uh, you know, from guns is huge. The rise in gun-related deaths in young Americans between the ages of 1 and 19 was part of an overall increase in firearm homicides of 33.4%. Now, I've been saying since early days of lockdown that maybe there's going to be some huge downsides of lockdown. That our governments maybe they didn't know about, or maybe they didn't research properly. And, you know, more gun deaths, more homicides, more suicidesâ this could be a huge cost of, um, you know, the lockdowns that maybe we couldn't predict. Um, the overall gun rate The overall rate of gun deaths of all reasonsâsuicide, homicide, unintentional, and undeterminedâamong children and teenagers rose by 29.5%. Um, it goes on to say we continue to fail to protect our youth from a preventable cause of death. By the way, I'm pretty sure this video has now been shadowed and reduced by social media, which again is absolutely appalling. I can see by the numbers. Normally I'd have hundreds of people on a live by now. The numbers will be going up and up and up and up and up and up and up, and it's just stopped. So not only are we seeing increased gun deaths in children in the US, when I'm trying to do a good thing and talk about it on social media, it's getting shadowed and restricted from social media. What the fuck is going on with the world? I think you should share this just because of that. Like, what should I do? Should I get naked and do a dance so I can go viral, or should I talk about important political Uh, things that are about our lives, you know. Why are there so many guns in America? Why are there 390 million guns in America? Why can anyone own a gun in America? Pretty much it is insane. Now, car deaths have fallen. I guess there was a lot less car journeys in lockdown, but gun-related death in children 19 and under has gone up by 39%. Drug overdoses and poisoning has risen 83.6% in the, the year in the lead up to the lockdown year. So this to me is just so sad, so sad, and shouldn't be. Apparently 11 million people are exposed to firearms, including 5 million children. I don't know what the solution is. I was thinking long before I did this video, what could the solution be? I ask you, what could the solution be? But we all must speak up about this because these are preventable. These are so preventable. I don't know what to say. And also, shame on you, Facebook. Come on, this is really important content and you freaking restricted the reach. I don't know what to say. Thanks for tuning in. Please hit the share button if you've not shared any of my content before. Please share this one, and if you have, please share this one. Because how can it be that gun deaths are the leading killer of children? How can it be that 4,300 young Americans died of firearm-related injuries? How can it be that 390 million guns are owned by U.S. civilians? How can this be? How can it be that, um, gun-related deaths in young Americans is up 33.4%? This has to stop. I don't know the solution. I'd love to discuss it with you in the comments. Thanks for tuning in. Please hit the share button, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
