Homeless People Get £200/day Begging 😮

In this solo monologue, Rob Moore claims that many homeless individuals in Peterborough earn £150‑£200 a day by begging, while also receiving government‑provided housing and benefits, which he says makes begging more lucrative than low‑paid retail work. He cites anecdotal conversations with homeless people and local community support officers to argue that the welfare system incentivises “professional begging” and that the UK’s law‑enforcement and criminal justice environment is ineffective. Moore blames the government for these outcomes and proposes that the solution lies in providing apprenticeships, trade jobs, and financial education to the homeless, thereby reducing reliance on benefits. The video transitions into a promotional segment where Moore advertises a free live Zoom session (robmoore.live/sunday) and a “Make Cash Challenge,” promising viewers tactics to earn £3,000‑£10,000 in a week, positioning his financial‑education brand as a remedy to both personal and systemic economic problems. He also briefly comments on broader economic concerns, such as a potential house‑price decline and an upcoming recession.

Homeless people making £200 a day begging on the streets. I know this for a fact. I've talked to many homeless people in my city. They all know me very well because I give them loads of money. Um, well, actually, I used to give them money. Um, now I buy them coffee and food. I think that's a better thing to do because most of them admit they're going straight and buy buy heroin with it. I'm just telling you what they tell me. I was chatting to one of them today because I bought him a coffee and a muffin, and I said to him, you know, when are you going to get off the drugs? And he said, oh, I don't think I'm going to. And I said, how often do you have it? And he said, 7 times a day. So yeah, anyway, I went to get my coffee today, and the person who serves me, she sees that I buy this homeless chap coffee, and she's like, do you know he earns more than me? And I went, yeah, I actually do. So I know this from two horses' mouths. So our local beggars in Peterborough, right, there's loads of homeless people in Peterborough. I went to Dubai, not one homeless person. Loads of homeless people in Peterborough. By the way, there's an important message in this, so stay with me, but I just need to give you the context. So, um, loads of homeless people in Peterborough, and you know, you, you could or possibly should feel sorry for them. Beware. So, um, I've talked to a few of them, and I've also talked to the community support officers who are supposed to keep them off the streets. Anyway, here's the deal: they all get accommodation given to them by the government, and they've all told me there's no point getting a job because they get less money getting a job than they get on welfare, on the benefits. So they get given a house, they get given, um, benefits, and then they professionally beg. They don't beg because they're desperate and destitute. They professionally beg. And most of them get £150 to £200 a day begging. And I bet that's not going down the bank and being paid in the tax being paid. And they get their benefits and they get a house paid for them. I'm not even blaming them, I'm blaming the government. So, and by the way, the community, the local community support officer, officers have told me exactly the same thing. I said to them, why can't you get them off the streets? And he said, all they do is they run away from us, um, and then they go and set up somewhere else and they beg and they run away from us and they just keep moving around begging, begging, begging, begging, getting 150 to 200 a day. A day. They're earning less than that in the shops, and this is on top of their benefits and on top of getting free accommodation. Is that not fucking bonkers? You would not see that in Dubai. There was not one homeless person when I went to Dubai. You couldn't even see one police officer because people— that shit just doesn't happen. The state looks after you and you don't commit a crime because if you do, you know what's going to happen. And yet in the UK, we're virtually lawless. Um, theft and knives, knife stabbings, even rape is virtually legal. Um, the conviction rate's something like 3%. It's just an outrage. And now Labour have come in, I imagine welfare is going to go up and benefits is going to go up. I don't know how much we're spending on benefits and welfare. It— we should be doing the opposite. So what we should be doing is supporting the people on the streets by getting them a good apprenticeship or a good trade and getting them back to work. Because do they really want to beg? No, but it's just not worth it for them getting a job. It's too cushy and easy, so they'll just beg. And that's just pocket money on top of what they're getting given. But imagine if we got all the homeless people off the street, stop the welfare. I think we should support them for sure, housing, etc. And got them an apprenticeship and got them a proper trades job. A good, honest, solid trade. Good, honest, solid trades have built the UK and the UK needs rebuilding and would save billions in welfare state benefits payments and would fire the economy back up because people would be back to work again. Our streets would be cleaned up. And what is going on? Why do Labour and then the Conservatives before, why do they not get this? Anyway, rant over. But I'm doing my bit. I'm on a mission to help as many people on this planet get better financial education and knowledge. I've been teaching people for 20 years. I've got my foundation. I employ well over 100 people. I pay millions a year in tax, and I'm going to keep helping. Um, the education system and, you know, all these homeless people, a lot of them probably haven't had good education. I'm not saying it's their fault that where they're at. I'm not saying it's easy for them. I'm saying that the system is not helping them. And I'm on a mission to disrupt the education system. This is why I do many of these live Zooms. Um, this is why I have Rob.team, my global money school. I'm also posting a lot, a lot more, maybe not, I wouldn't say politically, it's just common sense stuff. And surely the way to fix the education system is to teach people about better financial management, budgeting, managing your money emotions, knowing how to invest. And none of that's taught in schools. And surely the best way to help recover the economy is getting everyone back to work and not having all of these people on benefits and all these people on the streets. And surely the best way to do that is to give them good honest trades and teach them. And, um, yeah, because there are, you know, obviously a few people who really do need the benefits and the system's too easy to game. I know because they come as I buy more coffee and food. All right, so, um, if you'd like to bank £3,000 to £10,000 in the next 7 days with practical tactical tips and you'd like me to subsidize your place, I'm going to do this at no cost. Go to robmoore.live/sunday. Rob Moore.live/sunday. David has said, Rob, when is the house price crash coming? I'm still waiting. Well, it's silently starting to drop. Of course they're suppressing it in the media because this doesn't look good for Labour. Not a lot of things are looking good for Labour. But house prices are dropping. I spoke to someone yesterday who's a professional investor. He's got a gold company. He's been in gold for 10 years and he reckons there's an everything recession coming and coming hard. I think one's coming as well. Cars have dropped a lot. Watches have dropped a lot. Properties are starting to go. So yeah, be ready. Don't get ready, be ready. Anyway, I'll see you on the Zoom and You know, homeless people tell me on the streets, from the horse's mouth, and the community support officers tell me there's no point working because they get their free house, they get their welfare, and they can earn £200 a day begging. And they're earning more than a lot of people who are doing retail in the center of our city. And that's fucked up. And I'm not blaming them, I'm blaming the government, and they need to sort this shit out. So I appreciate you following me, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
