How to Beat the Banks 😳

Rob Moore explains how banks profit by lending money at multiples and argues you can beat them by investing in assets instead of holding cash. He shows how inflation erodes debt while boosting asset values, letting borrowers effectively get mortgages paid down for free.

How to beat the banks. How to beat the banks at their own game. The banks are smart. The central banks kind of control the world. So the game that the banks play is the central banks linked to governments control monetary policy. They control inflation to a certain degree. They control interest rates, and they control the supply of money by printing a lot more of it usually. And so when more money is printed, the value of your money relatively goes down. When inflation is high, the value of your money relatively goes down. When interest rates are high, the repayments on your money that you borrowed from the banks increases. Now, the banks actually see cash as a liability. Most people don't know this. So the central banks control the monetary policy pump money into the commercial banks, the banks that you use, and then the banks lend and invest that money out. And you borrow money from banks, you get mortgages from banks, you get personal loans from banks. And if a bank gets a depositor, i.e., when a bank gets cash The, the bank immediately sees cash as a liability, i.e., cash is going down in value. It's a liability. And when inflation is high, the depreciation of money is also high. So they lend it out and they invest it, and they lend it out and they invest it. $10 on the dollar, £10 on the pound. So they literally take your money in that they've printed, they lend it back to you as debt, and then they've got you in on the system. And then you're paying them recurring income from capital that they created out of thin air. And then you are stuck in a system whereby in the future, if there's a con— a central currency You'll be taxed immediately at source. The interest on your loans will be taken at source, and any, any money they want will be taken at source. Of course, central bank digital currency isn't here yet, but it could be coming. So how do you beat the banks at their own game? Well, number one, you've got to think like a bank. But number 2, you've got to have control of your money. So you want minimum money in the bank. Inflation is wiping out the value of your money. So if you can just have your general expenses and maybe the odd bit of emergency money in cash or savings, then you take the remainder of that out Or as you get more, you invest it into assets that beat inflation. Chelsea has said we can't beat the banks because they're so corrupt. Well, you can beat the banks in that you can get a much better result and return and control of your money than if they were in the banks. You can play the banks at their own game and win the game of money. So you're going to have minimal money in the bank so that most of your capital or your future investments are at least protected against massive inflation, potential central digital currency in the future where they might be able to track and control and even take at source money from your bank account. They're not going to lend it out £10 on the pound because you've taken most of the pounds or dollars out. Then you're going to invest in assets that beat inflation, whether that's real estate, whether you're going to invest in your business and start a company and earn profits, or build digital assets and earn royalties and recurring income. And then as long as your assets beat inflation, no matter what inflation is, your money is going up, not going down. If minimal amount of money is in the bank then they can't lend it out $10 on the dollar. You can take the money and you can lend it to yourself to invest in assets and earn dollars on the dollar. And then what you're going to do is when you get assets, good assets like property, real estate, maybe starting a business, you're going to borrow money from those banks and use them to leverage to create larger value assets and larger income and play the banks at their own game. Instead of the banks lending your money out $10 on the dollar— oh, and by the way, not charging you really any interest— what you're gonna do is you're gonna get, for example, a property. You're gonna get a 70% mortgage, 30% deposit. So 70% is the bank's money, and then you're gonna earn income on the leverage of the bank's money because you're gonna be able to buy higher value assets that produce more income because you have more money that you've used from the banks. And then the banks are in turn going to pay down your mortgages for you because inflation right now is high. And that with high— most people don't understand what I'm about to say, by the way, but with high inflation, of course, you know that that reduces your spending power. High inflation, increasing prices, reduces the value of your current money. But it also reduces the value of your current debt. So if you turn good money into good debt, then you reduce the inflation and the devaluation of your money, and you increase the devaluation and inflation of your debt, and that in turn increases the inflation of your assets. So actually, you can even use inflation to beat the banks. Because most people don't get that. They think inflation is bad. Um, Elliot said, I don't understand that, how they pay your mortgage off for you. They don't physically give you the money, but it— the inflation that's mostly created by them is the devaluation of money, but it's therefore the devaluation of debt. So you have £100, 10% inflation, it's worth £90. You have a £100 debt, 10% inflation, that debt is worth £90. So if you have good debt leveraged against assets and your capital is safe and secure in the asset, the inflation is wiping the debt down. Inflation's going up to 13.3% in October according to the Monetary Policy Committee. It's going up to 15% next year according to some think tanks. So instead of your cash going down 15%, you could have assets that are leveraged with good debt, and those assets are probably going to go up, forced by inflation, and the debt's going to come down, reduced by inflation. And this, my good friends, is how you beat the banks at their own game. Now, you might need to watch this again on a replay because I know a lot of people don't understand this. Um, and I will do a quick summary. You need to beat the banks at their own game. If you are the victim of inflation because you don't know how to leverage inflation, then your money is going down 10, 15% a year. It could go up to 20% a year that your cash is getting wiped out. The banks will take it all in, they'll control it, they won't insure it. If there's a run on the banks, they won't give it back to you, but they will lend it out £10 on the pound, $10 on the dollar. Because they see cash as a liability. So what you need to do is get your cash out of the bank and your future investment investments and savings mostly out of the bank, other than your living costs. You need to get them into inflation-beating assets. Then you need to get income from those assets and have the banks paying your good debt loans down with inflation. And the higher inflation goes up, the more they're paying your mortgages off. The government paid my mortgages off by £3.3 million in the last 9 to 12 months through inflation.
